The United States FINALLY Publicly Condemns Chechnya's Deadly Gay Purge And It Only Took 3 Years

The United States FINALLY Publicly Condemns Chechnya’s Deadly Gay Purge And It Only Took 3 Years

It may have taken over 3 years but the United States Government has FINALLY publicly condemned Chechnya leader Ramzan Kadyrov for the horrific human rights abuses against gay/bi men and lesbians that have left many jailed, tortured, and murdered.

Today, the Department of State is publicly designating Ramzan Kadyrov, head of the Chechen Republic of the Russian Federation, under Section 7031(c) of the Department of State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs Appropriations Act, 2020.  This designation is due to Kadyrov’s involvement in gross violations of human rights in the Chechen Republic.  The Department has extensive credible information that Kadyrov is responsible for numerous gross violations of human rights dating back more than a decade, including torture and extrajudicial killings….

Today’s action serves to notify Mr. Kadyrov that his involvement in gross violations of human rights has consequences, both for him and his family, and that the United States is committed to using all the tools at our disposal to ensure accountability for those who engage in this abhorrent behavior

In 2018 the United States Congress did pass a bipartisan resolution condemning the anti-gay persecution and violence in Chechnya but the Trump administration has remained silent on the human rights violations and while countries like Canada and the Netherlands have granted asylum to the persecuted LGBT refugees, the United States has not.

Federal Judge Strikes Down Tampa's Ban on Conversion Therapy Ex-Gay Torture

Federal Judge Strikes Down Tampa’s Ban on Conversion Therapy Ex-Gay Torture

A federal judge has struck down Tampa, Florida’s two year ban on the dangerous practice of conversion therapy to minors, a treatment promoted by religious groups as a way to change a person’s sexual orientation or gender identity.

On Friday, U.S. District Judge William Jung, a Donald Trump appointee ruled that the law can interfere with patient’s rights to privacy, and it may conflict with the rights that parents have in choosing health care for their children.

He also said that the medical boards overseeing mental health licensing already serve as a check for any malpractice.

According to The Tampa Bay Times:

Jung said state medical boards that oversee the licensing of mental health professionals already serve as a check on any malpractice.” Jung also said “no study has come up with a clear picture of whether the practice produces either beneficial or harmful outcomes” and added that Tampa’s ban seemed selective because the city hasn’t put similar scrutiny on “massage therapy, acupuncture, optometry, tattoo parlors and medical labs.

It is apparent that the Florida statutes already provide the City with its desired protection against [sexual orientation change efforts] SOCE. The City and its experts adamantly assert that even non-aversive SOCE violates the prevailing treatment standard of care, and constitutes psychiatric, psychological, and counseling malpractice.

Tampa City Attorney Gina Grimes told the Tampa Bays Times that the judge’s ruling simply showed that the court thinks that states, and not cities, should regulate health care. And it didn’t go into the legality of the city’s banning of the practice.

“The court did not rule on the constitutionality of the city’s ordinance prohibiting conversion therapy. Instead, it found that the states’ health care regulations prevent municipalities from regulating this type of counseling,”

The American Psychiatric Association (APA) has a long-standing opposition against the practice of conversion therapy.

The American Psychiatric Association does not believe that same-sex orientation should or needs to be changed, and efforts to do so represent a significant risk of harm by subjecting individuals to forms of treatment which have not been scientifically validated and by undermining self-esteem when sexual orientation fails to change. No credible evidence exists that any mental health intervention can reliably and safely change sexual orientation; nor, from a mental health perspective does sexual orientation need to be changed.”

Evidence has proven that gay conversion therapies increased the risk of negative outcomes, including loss of sexual feeling, anxiety, depression and suicidal feelings. and has led to the deaths of many who have been fortced to undergo it.

Joshua Home Child Abuse

Christian Conversion Therapy Camp Owners Charged W/ Trafficking, Abuse and Forced Labor Of Underage Boys

NBC – KX0N News affiliate reports:

More than a year after boys were removed from a nonprofit in Burnet County, the couple who ran it are facing trafficking charges. A grand jury indicted Gary Wiggins, 49, and his wife Meghann Wiggins, 34, on Trafficking of Persons charges.

They are both accused of “knowingly” trafficking four underage boys and “through force, fraud or coercion” making them “engage in forced labor or services.” The two ran Joshua Home, which officials described as a place that “purports to be a residential home for troubled boys.”

According to the indictment, the trafficking allegedly occurred between May 17, 2018 and July 25, 2018. Eight boys between the ages of 10 and 17 were removed after a multi-agency investigation into allegations of abuse, neglect, labor violations, fraud, licensing violations and human trafficking.

The couple had previously run the Blessed Hope Boys Academy in Robertsdale, Ala., in 2016 which was closed after a 20/20 investigation in which boys who’d been sent there spoke out against the abuse that included forced exercise, solitary confinement, withholding food, and various conversion therapy torture tactics.

One boy Lucas Greenfield who was sent there for being gay told 20/20 Lucas Greenfield whose mother sent him to Blessed Hope because he is gay, told 20/20 that Gary Wiggins regularly beat they boys. “He took off his belt and started swinging,” and told them: “I’m going to get the demon out of you and make you straight.”

The Wiggins’ remain in custody at the Burnet County Jail. They are both being held on $100,000 bond.

3rd. Man Charged In Violent Kidnapping, Robbery and Torture Spree of 9 Gay Men in Dallas

3rd. Man Charged In Violent Kidnapping, Robbery and Torture Spree of 9 Gay Men in Dallas

A third Dallas man has been charged with federal hate crimes in connection with a string of violent kidnappings and robberies targeting gay men in December 2017.

The violent kidnapping and robbery spree came to an end after one of the nine victims, who were all abducted from a Home Depot parking lot where they “were attempting to meet up with what they believed was a 19-year-old Latin male” from the Grindr escaped his abductors and called 911

When Dallas PD arrived where that victim had been held, they found four other victims lying face down in an empty bedroom. One of them had blood all over his face.

Daryl Henry, the most recently arrested, is charged with nine counts, including conspiracy to commit hate crimes, kidnapping and carjacking; hate crimes, aiding and abetting; and kidnapping, aiding and abetting, court records show.

A federal judge on Tuesday ordered him held without bond pending trial. If convicted, Henry faces up to life in federal prison for the “gruesome” crimes, a prosecutor said.

Also charged in the case are Daniel Jenkins, 19, and Michael Atkinson, 24.

Atkinson pleaded guilty in March to conspiracy to commit hate crime acts and kidnapping in exchange for an agreement from prosecutors to not seek more than 23 years in prison, according to court records.

The men were robbed, pistol-whipped, beaten and sexually assaulted, federal authorities said. At least two victims were smeared with feces and urinated on. . Another was sexually assaulted with an object, prosecutors said.

In every case, the suspects forced the victim to withdraw money from an ATM at gunpoint, a police affidavit said.

5 Gay Men Tortured and Beheaded in Saudi Arabia

5 Gay Men Tortured and Beheaded in Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia, which carried out the gruesome mass execution of 37 people this week by beheading claimed the barbaric act was over terrorism crimes. But it is coming to light that many were minority Shi’ite Muslims who may not have had fair trials and 5 men were beheaded for being gay,

Homosexuality is punishable by death in the Gulf State, ruled over by King Salman.

A court document obtained by CNN states a man confessed to gay acts and hating the majority Sunni sect. It states: ‘He said that he did all this because he belonged to the Shia sect and because he was against the Sunni sect and because of his hate for the state and its men and its security forces.

The executions were carried out on Tuesday in the cities of Riyadh, Mecca and Medina. One of the prisoner’s had his body and severed head pinned to a pole in a public square. The deaths were said to act as a warning to others and also a political move to impress the USA.

Many of those executed said they were totally innocent, and that their confessions had been written by the same people who had tortured them.

Tuesday’s mass execution was “another gruesome indication of how the death penalty is being used as a political tool to crush dissent from within” the country’s Shi’ite minority, said Lynn Maalouf, Amnesty International’s group’s research director for the Middle East.

European Union foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini said the executions heightened doubts about respect for the right to a fair trial in Saudi Arabia and could fuel sectarian violence.

New York-based Human Rights Watch (HRW) said at least 33 of the 37 men put to death were Shi’ites and it was the largest set of executions in the kingdom since January 2016.

BUSTED: Security Exchange Commission Charges The Mormon Church of Hiding Billions of Dollars

Mormon Church Won’t Oppose Utah’s Gay Conversion Therapy Torture Ban

Salt Lake City’s Fox 13 News :

A bill to ban conversion therapy for LGBT children is set to be unveiled in the Utah State Legislature. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints told FOX 13 it will not oppose the bill, which could give it a boost on Capitol Hill.

The bill is being carried by two Republican lawmakers: Rep. Craig Hall, R-West Valley City, and Sen. Dan McCay, R-Riverton. The gay rights group Equality Utah has scheduled a news conference on Thursday to discuss the bill.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has in the past suggested people can “overcome” homosexual feelings. But the faith now says it does not believe sexual orientation can be changed. The Church also does not support same-sex marriage, but allows gay or lesbian members to remain in their ranks so long as they are celibate.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has in the past has done more than just “suggest” that one  could overcome homosexuality.

The Mormon Church has backed and promoted many conversion therapy “camps” and programs some even being held at Brigham Young University that have damaged and pushed gays and lesbians to suicide.

More Gay Men Arrested, Detained, and Tortured in Chechnya

More Gay Men Arrested, Detained, and Tortured in Chechnya

In the past year and a half over 100 gay men in Chechnya were arrested and subjected to torture, and some of them were killed. Now new reports of arrests and detainment’s are coming to light.

Prominent activist Igor Kochetkov told The Associated Press on Friday that gay rights supporters have seen a spike in detentions of men and women suspected of being gay since late December. Kochetkov would not say how many people have been detained or where they are now. He said the activists are preparing a short report to be released on Monday.

Independent newspaper Novaya Gazeta, which broke the news of the crackdown in 2017, also confirmed earlier on Friday reports renewed persecutions of gay people in Chechnya.

Russian authorities kept denying that the killings and torture took place in the predominantly Muslim region where homosexuality is a taboo, even after one man came forward to talk about the time he spent in detention in Chechnya.

Maxim Lapunov said he was detained by unidentified people on a street in the Chechen capital, Grozny, and kept in custody for two weeks, where he was repeatedly beaten. He was let go after he signed a statement acknowledging he was gay and was told he would be killed if he talked about his time in detention.

Chechen authorities have used electrocution, beatings, starvation, dehydration, isolation, forced nudity, homophobic insults to get the men to reveal more suspected homosexuals. Authorities confiscate all personal belongings and don’t allow the men to contact anyone or to sleep.

One former detainee said that the torturers showed him a graphic video of a suspected terrorist having a plastic pipe inserted into his anus and then barbed wire forced into the pipe and ripped out of his rectum. The torturers videotaped the torture, showed it to a gay man and revealed that they had brought a similar plastic pipe and barb wire to use on him. The man then confessed, revealing his gay associates to avoid a similar fate.

Liberty Counsel Hate Group LIES That Marriage Bill Will Legalize Pedophilia, Polygamy, Incest, “And Other Perversions”

Liberty Counsel’s Mat Staver: Gay Conversion Therapy Torture is “Overwhelming Effective”

Via press release from the anti-LGBT hate group the Liberty Counsel:

A recent study, Effects of Therapy on Religious Men Who Have Unwanted Same-Sex Attraction, confirms the overwhelming effectiveness of people receiving counseling to reduce or eliminate their unwanted same-sex attractions, behaviors, or identity.

In this study, more than two-thirds of those who participated in group or professional help had significant heterosexual shifts in sexual attraction, sexual identity, and behavior, and moderate-to-marked decreases in suicidality, depression, substance abuse, and increases in social functioning and self-esteem.

The study’s effectiveness rates for counseling people with unwanted same-sex attraction were comparable to the effectiveness rates of psychotherapy in general for any unwanted issue. Prevalence of help or hindrance, and effect size, were comparable with those for conventional psychotherapy for unrelated mental health issues.

Meta-level study on a wide range of therapies has shown that the average person who received counseling for whatever problem was better off than 70 to 75 percent of the persons who did not receive counseling (Lambert 2011). This current research also strongly refutes claims the American Psychological Association and other organizations have made aimed at discouraging counsel to change unwanted same-sex attractions, behavior, and identity.

The study they cite is from the Catholic Medical Association, which has about only 900 members in the United States and is associated  the US Conference of Catholic Bishops.

Catholic Medical Association believes that LGBT individuals are not “born that way” and that homosexuality is a sympton caused by an over-protective mother, lack of rough and tumble play (boys), major depression or anxiety, and either/or borderline personality disorder, schizophrenia, and pathological narcissism.

Meanwhile the legitimate American Medical Association’s  American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry finds no evidence to support the application of any “therapeutic intervention” operating under the premise that a specific sexual orientation, gender identity, and/or gender expression is pathological. Furthermore, based on the scientific evidence, the AACAP asserts that such “conversion therapies” (or other interventions imposed with the intent of promoting a particular sexual orientation and/or gender as a preferred outcome) lack scientific credibility and clinical utility. Additionally, there is evidence that such interventions are harmful. As a result, “conversion therapies” should not be part of any behavioral health treatment of children and adolescents.

Death Sentence for Man Convicted in Torture Murder Of Child He Thought Was Gay

Death Sentence for Man Convicted in Torture Murder Of Child He Thought Was Gay

Via NBC News:

A California man was sentenced to death on Thursday for the killing of a young boy who prosecutors said was tortured because he believed the child was gay, and the boy’s mother was sentenced to life in prison. Los Angeles County state court Judge George Lomeli sentenced 37-year-old Isauro Aguirre after he was convicted late last year of first-degree murder in the death of 8-year-old Gabriel Fernandez.

The child’s mother, Pearl Sinthia Fernandez, 34, pleaded guilty to first-degree murder in February and was sentenced on Thursday to life in prison without the possibility of parole. Aguirre was Fernandez’ boyfriend. Gabriel died in May of 2013 in the working class high desert community of Palmdale, north of Los Angeles. Prosecutors said the boy’s skull was fractured, 12 of his ribs were broken, he was forced to eat cat feces, and that he slept, bound and gagged, in a cabinet.

That doesn’t even begin to describe the tortures that this child endured. His body was riddled with BB pellets, and I won’t even go into more detail because it’s just horrifying.

Last I heard, social workers that were involved in the case might also be up for charges, as there were, IIRC, dozens (over 50?) calls made by people who were concerned with Gabriel’s well-being, and nothing was ever done to help him.

Simply horrifying and heartbreaking.

Terrifying Russia Website Challenges Users To Hunt Down and Torture Gay Men

Terrifying Russia Website Challenges Users To Hunt Down and Torture Gay Men

A new terrifying Russian website known as ‘Saw’ in English, is encouraging people to ‘report and hunt down ’ gay men. The website .proclaims that the campaign represents the “Chechnya’s Comeback”, referring to the government-sanctioned brutal torture and executions of gay men in the Northern Caucasus.

Following the launch of the website last week, three men have been violently assaulted.

The website allows people to upload photos of people they accuse of being gay with personal information and how to find them.

The website states that it  plans  to make a database of people of gay people, including their addresses and other information.

People will then be able to access the names for a fee: 200 Rubles (US $3) to find personal information. But if your name is on the database and you want to have it removed, you have to pay a bigger fee: 1500 Rubles (US $23).

“Saw’ supposedly takes its name from the horror movie franchise of the same name.

The targeting of LGBT people is called a ‘game’ on the website. It has May 1 to 31 listed as the dates for the ‘game’.

For now, the ‘game’ is targeting people in the province of Ufa, in south-east Russia.

This is terrifying,’ Mikhail Tumasov, chairperson of the Russia LGBT Network said..

‘I’ve never seen anything like this The killing and torturing of gay people, they call it a game.’
