SCOTUS Rules First Amendment Entitles Web Designer to Refuse Gay Weddings

Man Charged With Threatening Human Rights Campaign. Funny Since HRC Does Nothing.

The Department of Justice has filed a criminal complaint against a Maryland man who has been charged with threatening the Human Rights Campaign.

Adam Michael Nettina, 34, of West Friendship, is accused of making the threats by phone to HRC’s Washington, D.C., headquarters the night of March 28. A transcription of his voice mail, contained in the complaint, reads as follows:

“You guys going to shoot up our schools now? Is that how it’s going to be? You just gonna to kill little kids. You’re just going to slaughter fucking little kids. Let me tell you something, we’re waiting, we’re waiting. And if you want a war, we’ll have a war. And we’ll fucking slaughter you back. We’ll cut your throats. We’ll put a bullet in your head. We’re not going to give a fuck. You started this bullshit. You’re going to kill us? We’re going to kill you ten times more in full. – The Advocate

Nettina is charged with making “interstate communications with a threat to injure,” according to a DOJ press release. If convicted, he could be sentenced to up to five years in prison.

Someone should have told Nettina that HRC does no real LGBT work and does noting but throw Gay-las’.

Donald Trump Whines About "Unfair" Injustice and Calls for "Final battle in 2024" at Rally in Waco, Texas

Donald Trump Whines About “Unfair” Injustice and Calls for “Final battle in 2024” at Rally in Waco, Texas

Former disgraced President Donald Trump promised that “2024 will be the final battle” and that he will overcome the “unjust” accusations made against him, as he held his first official campaign rally in Waco, Texas, on Saturday. .

“We’ve been fighting for seven years,” Trump said in a speech that stretched to an hour and a half. “We’ve been standing up to the Marxists, the socialists, the stupid warmongers … the fake news media. … They don’t want to tell the truth, that’s why they’re going down the tubes.” Trump slammed Joe Biden’s administration as “one of those depraved” chapters in American history. “Straight out of Stalinist Russia horror show,” he said. “A banana republic, that’s what we’ve become,” Trump said. But he vowed: “When this election is over, I will be the president of the United States [and] you will be vindicated and proud.”

At Saturday’s rally, he also said “I never liked ‘horse face,'” in apparent reference to Stormy Daniels, and then said, “We have a great first lady,” referencing his wife, Melania Trump. “And people see it’s bull****, and they go and they say, unfair! But it takes place by the Department of injustice,” Trump said that the “biggest threat” to the U.S. isn’t China or Russia, but American leaders including Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, a fellow Republican, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, President Biden, and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

“In many ways, these sick people are more of a threat, because we can deal with China.”

Trump also promised that “2024 will be the final battle” and that he will overcome the accusations against him.

“They’re not coming after me — they’re coming after you and I’ll stand in their way because in 2024, we’ll have the greatest victory of them all.”

Trump’s rally in Texas was purposely scheduled during the 30th anniversary of the Waco standoff between the FBI and the Branch Davidians, a religious sect. The 51-day siege began on Feb. 28, 1993, and resulted in the deaths of 86 people. A place sure to draw his most extremist base.

At Least 2 Boston Gay Bars Have Received Threatening Phone Calls

At Least 2 Boston Gay Bars Have Received Threatening Phone Calls

At least two Boston gay bars have received threatening phone calls this weekend at about the same time on consecutive nights, prompting police investigations into both.

“We don’t take any threats lightly,” said Police Commissioner William G. Gross  “Everybody should be able to enjoy any establishment that they wish to go into in the City of Boston. Whether it’s the Alley or the dbar, you should be able to enjoy yourself peacefully.”

A spokesman for the department confirmed that a threatening call was answered by an employee at Dbar, a full-service restaurant and nightclub on Dorchester Avenue, Friday night.

Another call targeted The Alley Bar, a nightclub located downtown, Saturday night. The calls came into the bars about 7:30 on both nights.

The Boston Globe reported on the threat to The Alley: “Rocco LaMonica, the bar’s manager on duty, said a doorman answered the bar’s phone and heard the threats. LaMonica would not comment on what happened during the call but said it ‘was threatening enough that we needed to call the police.’ ‘We’re not going to stand back for anybody,’ LaMonica said.

The police department wouldn’t say whether the incidents were linked and didn’t release any further information about the nature of the threats.

Gross, however, assured both businesses that “all of the areas will be covered” in the investigation.

‘You can’t take a chance now. If we receive calls for threats, we’re going to investigate it, we’re going to investigate it to the fullest potential and hope we get the individual making those threats,” Gross said.

NRA Spokeswitch Dana Loesch Calls Parkland Students Extortionist Over PUBLIX Protest

Dana Loesch and the NRA Threaten American Citizens In New Ad: “Your Time Is Running Out” [Video]

The NRA and its paid pro-gun propaganda mistress Dana Loesch goes on the defensive against “Hollywood phonies,” athletes who sit during the national anthem, journalists and almost everyone who has become critical of the massive gun lobbying group following the Parkland, Florida, school shooting in an ad that can only be seen as intimidating and threatening to those who are against the NRA’s agenda.

“To every lying member of the media, to every Hollywood phony, to the role model athletes who use their free speech to alter and undermine what our flag represents, to the politicians who would rather watch America burn than lose one ounce of their own personal power, to the late-night hosts who think their opinions are the only opinions that matter…,” Loesch says against a backing track of ominous music. “…your time is running out.”

I personally sent a complaint to Twitter reporting this omimous message and recieved the following message:

Hello,

Thank you for your recent report. We have reviewed your report carefully and found that there was no violation of the Twitter Rules against abusive behavior (https://twitter.com/rules).

There are a number of factors we take into consideration when deciding whether to take action on content:

Context matters

  • Some Tweets may seem to be abusive when viewed in isolation, but may not be when viewed in the context of a larger conversation. While we accept reports of violations from anyone, sometimes we also need to hear directly from the target to ensure that we have proper context.
  • The number of reports we receive does not impact our assessment of whether something violates the Twitter Rules. However, it may help us prioritize the order in which it gets reviewed.

We focus on behavior

  • In order to ensure that people feel safe expressing diverse opinions and beliefs, we do not tolerate behavior that crosses the line into abuse, including behavior that harasses, intimidates, or uses fear to silence another user’s voice.
  • Additionally, we enforce policies when someone reports behavior that is abusive and targets an entire protected group and/or individuals who may be members. This targeting can happen in multiple ways (e.g., mentioning someone, tagging someone in a photo, and more).

If, after you filed this original report, this person Tweeted additional content that you believe to be abusive, or if there’s additional context you think we need to know regarding this situation, please reply to this email and provide us with further details (including links to any additional Tweets).

In addition to Twitter’s efforts to enforce our Terms of Service, we also provide tools to assist users in controlling their Twitter experience:
https://help.twitter.com/safety-and-security/control-your-twitter-experience.

Thank you again for taking the time to submit your report to us. If you encounter additional content on Twitter that you believe to be abusive, please let us know by filing a new report.

Thanks,

Anti-LGBT Activist Ambush Pro-LGBT PepsiCo CEO: “Back off or you’ll be the next Target”

Anti-Gay Activist Ambush Pro-LGBT PepsiCo CEO Back off or you'll be the next Target

“Activists” from the vehemently anti-LGBT  National Center for Public Policy Research publically ambushed PepsiCo CEO Indra Nooyi at the company’s shareholder meeting yesterday in North Carolina warning her that PepsiCo would be made “another Target” unless  the company calls off its support of the LGBT community and denounced its call for a repeal the state’s anti-LGBT hate law.

Nooyi stood firm on PepsiCo’s support of the repeal and the company’s LGBT support

Here’s an excerpt of what the National Center for Public Policy Research (a 501(c)(3) organization) said to her:

Liberal activists pressured Pepsi to denounce the [HB2] law. And you obliged. We suggest this was a missed opportunity to bring folks together and elevate Pepsi’s brand. Your decision to speak out so forcefully against the law pleased one contingency but angered another. And that anger is palpable. In reaction to HB2, Target announced that it would open its bathrooms to any and all-comers. Over a million Americans now claim to be boycotting the chain in protest. Pepsi does not want to be the next Target.

“I have with me today a one-page framework companies can use to approach contentious issues like this. It does this by focusing on solutions and can be applied to literally every issue. I’m hopeful the company will take a look at it. I think you will find it helps the company stand up for its values in a way that brings people together and increases the public’s appreciation for Pepsi as a company and as a brand.

“The next time you are approached by a group of activists demanding that Pepsi sign a letter or denounce this or that, we simply suggest that you ask yourself, Ms. Nooyi, is there a way that I can bring both sides together and lead the community to solutions the public – and Pepsi’s customers – can get behind? Can I suggest to you that the paradigm I have suggested would help Pepsi be the community leader it clearly wants to be without making itself another Target?

Hmmmm.  I think I’ll stop by Target today and pick up some Pepsi.

Newt Gingrich Equates Violence To Beating President Obama In Fundraising Letter

Newt Gingrich is going off the deep end ehen in a recent  fundraising email with the subject line: “A Bloody Nose Just Won’t Cut It.” Gingrich states about beating President Obama “I don’t want to bloody his nose, I want to knock him out!”

Okay obviously the Pillsbury doughboy is speaking figuratively because Obama would have him on the ground pissing your pants and asking for mercy in less than a minute, that is if he wasn’t hiding behind the much butcher Callista. What galls me is that he would actually use this as a demonstration of his toughness to convince voters he deserves the nomination and raise money

But I guess even if he wasn’t being “figurative” it would be okay.  After all President Obama did say that “If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun,”

See ya later Pig Newton!

TESCO Ends Funding Of London Pride After Boycott Threat From Extremist Religious Group

Only days after the rabidly anti-gay Christian Institute called for shoppers to boycott Britan’s largest retailer Tesco after Tesco  gave Pride London £30,000 to fund its family area.  Tesco has now decided NOT  to sponsor Pride London again after next year, giving into the anti-gay group..

In a letter from Tesco:

“Most of our charitable and community support is however focused on delivering practical benefits, rather than on funding awareness-raising events.

“We will therefore discuss with Out at Tesco how we can support them in future years in ways that will not include sponsoring events.”

A Tesco spokesperson also spoke to PinkNews.co.uk who originally broke the story to explain:

“Tesco promotes a tolerant environment and supports a wide range of good causes and charities.  We do not take funding decisions for 2013 so far in advance though our preference is always to support projects with practical benefits rather than events. We will be discussing how best to do this with Out At Tesco..  Our Out at Tesco team will be working closely with Pride London to ensure next year’s event (2012) is even more fun.”

One could think that Tesco is still only spomnsoring next years London Pride for  brand exposure and it’s strictly marketing decision because of the huge  exposure could taht can be gained at a two day World Pride Event in the middle of  the Summer Olympics.

If Tesco donates its usual sum that it gives to London Pride on top of what it already gives LGBT charities and non-profits its all well and good.  But for Tesco to fold to an extremist anti-gay’s threats of a boycott over funding LP is not only akin to giving into terrorist but also a slap in the face to the LGBT community.

Meanwhile The Christian Institute is crowing over its victory.

Perhaps someone should tell Tesco that boycotts can work both ways.

Neighbors (?) Spraypaint Death Threats On Columbus OH Gay Couples Home

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again.  You can keep Mississippi, Alabama, and all those other good ole boy southern gay hatin redneck states but when it comes to the WORST right wing whackjob homophobes the prize will always go to the state of OHIO where they smile at you on the outside and will stab you in the back when you aren’t looking.

So’s the case with , David Koch and his partner who attended a  “heated” condo association meeting on Thursday and after they left retand went to their home of 15 years on Blue Cloud Lake, in Columbus, OH and hit the sheets awoke the next morning to find , they found anti-gay slurs and death threats spray-painted on the outside of their home in bright yellow saying “Move or Die Faggots” and “Die F**s.”

The Columbus police say the search for the culprit will be handled by the “Strategic Response Bureau,” which investigates misdemeanors. In the meantime, Koch and his partner fear the harassment might escalate. “My concern is probably more like, ‘is somebody gonna put rat poison in hamburger, and put it out in the yard for the dogs to eat?’ Because in Ohio the home of Billboard that says “HELL IS REAL” just south of Columbus, OH incendtially  thats something that the two faced anti-gay whack jobs in Ohio they would do.

Because Ohio is HELL.

National Organization for Marriage Declares WAR On The State Of New York

Hear that New Yorkers?  The anti-gay hate group the National Organization for Marriage wants to throw down with you.

Brian Brown and NOM have pledged TWO MILLION dollars to oust politicians that voted for same sex marriage stating they “can expect consequences come election time,”

The National Organization of Marriage which is NOT based in New York, nor do any of its leaders come from New York, suffered what only could be called a devastating loss and set back to their “inequality movement” and is now threatening the whole of New York and it’s politicians with their self righteous wrath.

“The Republican party has torn up its contract with the voters who trusted them in in order to facilitate Andrew Cuomo’s bid to be president of the U.S. Selling out your principles to get elected is wrong. Selling out your principles to get the other guy elected is just plain dumb.

Gay marriage has consequences for the next generation, for parents, and for religious people, institutions and small business owners. Politicians who campaign one way on marriage, and then vote the other, need to understand: betraying and misleading voters has consequences, too”

Sounds like they are calling you out New York.  Are you going to take this from a bunch of professional haters?  Maybe you should run them out of town.  me I’d personally go for tar and feathering them but have you seen the size of Maggie Gallagher and Brian Brown?  There’d be thousands of bald chickens wandering the farms of upstate New York.

And as for NOM perhaps you should spend the $2M of laundered blood money on teaching tolerance on yourselves and helping the thousands of heterosexual couples to stay together and help lower the divorce rate.
