Wife of PULSE Massacre Terrorist Omar Manteen Found NOT GUILTY

PULSE Massacre Terrorist Omar Mateen’s Wife Confesses She Knew of Attack In Advance

USA Today reports:

A handwritten statement given to the FBI by the wife of Pulse nightclub gunman Omar Mateen says she saw him prepare for the deadly attack for months and knew that the LGBT nightclub was his target.

The 12-page statement, quietly released by federal authorities at the end of December in a batch of records in the case, was taken hours after the June 12, 2016 shooting. The attack left 49 dead and dozens of others injured. Noor Salman was questioned for hours, without a lawyer, after authorities learned her husband was the gunman behind the attack.

She was arrested last year on federal charges of providing material support to a terrorist and tampering with evidence but has pleaded not guilty, claiming she was suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder. She said Mateen abused her and claims she did not know of his plot.

But her defense conflicts with the signed statement she gave to the FBI, which details her knowledge of Mateen’s planning and his path to carry out an attack on behalf of the Islamic State.

“I knew when he left the house he was going to Orlando to attack the Pulse Night Club,” Salman said, according to a statement written by an FBI agent and signed by Salman during the 18-hour interview.

Noor Salman’s  attorneys argued that everything she told the FBI in the hours after the attack should be excluded from trial because she was in custody and not given proper Miranda warnings. US attorneys argued that she was not in custody, free to leave at any time, and that all her statements were voluntary.

Neo-Nazi Charged With Terrorism After Failed Attempt To Derail Amtrak Train

Omaha World-Herald

A Missouri man with connections to white supremacists has been charged with terrorism after authorities said he brought a cross-country Amtrak train to a halt last fall in rural Nebraska. Taylor M. Wilson of suburban St. Louis intended to hurt passengers, authorities said.

The 26-year-old has been charged in federal court in Lincoln with terrorism attacks and other violence against mass transportation systems, according to federal court records unsealed Wednesday. The incident occurred overnight as the train traveled through Nebraska during the third weekend of October, according to law enforcement officials.

Wilson entered a restricted area of the train as it neared Oxford, Nebraska, and triggered the emergency brake in what authorities say was an attempt to derail the train. During booking at the Furnas County Jail, Wilson was found in possession of a business card of the National Socialist Movement in Detroit, considered one of the largest neo-Nazi groups in the U.S.

Heavy.com reports:

The first deputy to arrive to meet the train said that he handcuffed Wilson and asked him numerous times if he had any weapons, but Wilson would not reply, according to court documents. The deputy then patted down the front of Wilson’s pants and felt a bulge in his front left pocket. When he asked him what it was, Wilson replied, “my dick,” according to court documents.

The deputy found it was actually a fully loaded speedloader, a device used to reduce the time and effort needed to reload a gun, with .38 bullets. He also had a fully loaded .38 caliber handgun, the deputy said. He is the holder of a valid Missouri Concealed Handgun permit, according to court documents.

The FBI investigation of Wilson showed  he participated the protests in Charlottesville, Virginia in August with White Nationalist Neo-Nazis  and expressed “an interest in killing black people.”

PULSE Shooter’s Wife Loses Bid To Move Trial After Claiming Impartial Jurors Could Not Be Found

Via USA Today:

The widow of Pulse nightclub gunman Omar Mateen will stand trial in Orlando, home to the nation’s second deadliest mass shooting in modern history, after a federal judge ruled staying in the city wouldn’t prevent a fair trial.

Lawyers for Noor Salman had fought to move the case outside the city, arguing intense media coverage of the shooting could prompt bias in potential jurors. U.S. District Judge Paul Byron denied the request, court documents show.

Salman has been behind bars for nearly a year since her January arrest. She’s facing federal charges of obstruction of justice and aiding and abetting by providing material support to a terrorist organization. If convicted, Salman could face life in prison.

Venue changes are rare, and the burden on the accused is heavy. Even Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was denied a change of venue. He is appealing his convictions and death sentence, arguing the judge in his case should have moved his trial.

Salman is scheduled to be tried on March 1.

Las Vegas Mass Shooting Terrorist Stephen Paddock Liked Donald Trump

Las Vegas gunman Stephen Paddock was quite the fan of President Donald Trump before he killed 58 people and left another 500 injured—the worst mass shooting in recent U.S. history.

Paddock, a millionaire who reportedly would gamble up to $1 million a night in casinos, was attracted to the president’s politics because of the boost the stock market has enjoyed since Trump took office, Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo told KLAS, a local CBS affiliate in Las Vegas, during a two-hour interview.

Paddock said “he was happy with Trump because the stock market was doing well,” Lombardo said. Lombardo said he didn’t know offhand who Paddock was talking to when he was talking about Trump, adding that it’s the “only thing that we have seen that references politics.” – Newsweek

Paddock was not a registered voter, as either a Democrat or a Republican, in Clark County or elsewhere in Nevada, where his permanent residence was located. He was also not a registered voter in Florida.

Ohio Man Charged in Charlottesville Neo-Nazi Vehicle Terrorist Attack

An  Ohio man has been arrested that authorities suspect of being the driver who killed one and injured 19 w/5 in critical condition in Charlottesville Saturday after the cancellation of a white supremacist rally has Northern Kentucky roots.

James Fields Jr., 20, of Maumee, Ohio, is being held on suspicion of second-degree murder, malicious wounding and failure to stop in an accident that resulted in death, officials confirmed to The Enquirer.

Online documents show Fields shares an address with his mother, Samantha Bloom, 49, in Maumee. Documents also list several Northern Kentucky addresses for Bloom, who confirmed to The Toledo Blade Saturday night she and her son recently moved from Florence, Kentucky, for her job in northwest Ohio.   Bloom, told CNN affiliate Toledo Blade, her son told her last week he was going to an “alt-right” rally, but she was not involved in his political views. CNN’s attempts to reach Bloom were unsuccessful.

In a photo posted to Twitter by the Anti-Defamation League and reported by BuzzFeed, a man who appears to be Fields Jr. can be seen brandishing a black shield handed out by the self-proclaimed fascist group Vanguard America.

Videos of the incident show the Challenger barreling into pedestrians at high speed and slamming into the back of a second vehicle. With the car’s front badly damaged and its mangled bumper sticking out one side, the driver backs up a high speed for several blocks, then turns left and speeds off, chased by police.

Fields Jr. has been charged with one count of second-degree murder, three counts of malicious wounding, and one count related to leaving the scene of the wreck, according to the AP. He is scheduled to appear in court on Monday.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced late Saturday that federal authorities will pursue a civil rights investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash. Investigators want to know if Fields Jr. crossed state lines with the intent to commit violence.

There has been no talk of any terrorism charges being brought forth as of this time.

“Christian” Terrorist Protest and Scream Anti-Gay Abuses at PRIDE Opening at Salt Lake City Club

"Christian" Terrorist Protest and Scream Anti-Gay Abuses at PRIDE Opening at Salt Lake City Club

About 20 protesters hurled anti-LGBTQ remarks at patrons outside Club Jam on Friday, the night of the Pride Festival Opening Ceremonies. “Pretty toxic stuff,” said Shane Curtis, who heard the disturbance from his recording studio across the street. Police arrived about 1 a.m. and warned the protesters — who wore jackets customized with anti-LGBTQ text and held 10-foot signs — against disturbing the peace and blocking pedestrians, according to Salt Lake City Lt. Scott Smalley.

One protester outside the club at 751 N. 300 West had a megaphone but was told to stop using it by police. “For the most part, it’s a religious group that is preaching against homosexuality,” Smalley said. A handful of the protesters are from Utah, said Smalley, but most of them are from out of state. This group of protesters has shouted outside Pride events in the past, as well as the biannual conference held by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, according to Smalley. – The Salt Lake City Tribune

Portland, OR Hate Crime Murderer: “You Call It Terrorism, I Call It Patriotism!” [VIDEO]

Jeremy Joseph Christian was arrested last weekend after he murdered two men who came to the assistance of two Muslim Americans he was targeting on a train in Portland, OR.

After his arrest he sat in the back of a police car and said: “I stabbed the two (expletives) in the neck and I’m happy now.” The police car, equipped with audio and video recording devices, captured statements from Christian.

“Think I stab (expletives) in the neck for fun? Oh yeah, you’re right I do. I’m a patriot.” His recorded statements in the police car were revealed in an affidavit released Tuesday. “That’s what liberalism gets you,” he was recorded saying. “I hope they all die. I’m gonna say that on the stand. I’m a patriot, and I hope everyone I stabbed died.”

Christian continued his murderous rants Tuesday when he appeared in court.

ABC News reports:

Jeremy Joseph Christian began yelling when he walked into the courtroom Tuesday. “Get out if you don’t like free speech,” he said, and, “You call it terrorism, I call it patriotism. You hear me? Die.”

Christian, 35, is accused of fatally stabbing two men who defended a 16-year-old and her Muslim friend on a Portland, Oregon, train last Friday. He was yelling racial and religious epithets that day, police documents say.

Two deputies flanked Christian — listed in court documents as being at least 6 feet tall and weighing 250 pounds — during the brief court hearing. He wore a blue jail jumpsuit and didn’t say anything other than to yell slogans.

Yes,  because gum-chewing tweens are clearly the largest enemy. Seems like the most logical and cowardly move.
