According to the Southern Poverty Law Center, a civil rights advocacy group, there were 733 active hate groups in the U.S. in 2021, spanning all 50 states. Using data from the SPLC, 24/7 Wall St. identified the states with the most hate groups. In each state on this list, there were at least four active hate groups in 2021, and at least 2.5 active hate groups for every 1 million state residents. Population and demographic data came from the U.S. Census Bureau’s 2021 American Community Survey.

10. Idaho

A popular video platform has relied on the Southern Poverty Law Center’s discredited list of “hate groups” to shut down a pro-family group’s account. Vimeo told the American Family Association (AFA) it will not host an account if the owner is a member of a terror or hate group.

AFA Vice President Walker Wildmon says it was a sudden and non-negotiable move. “In recent weeks they’ve taken action against our account,” he reports. “They’ve officially shut down AFAs video account with no in-depth explanation and no recourse, no way to defend our credibility.”

Vimeo did, however, reveal where they got the idea that AFA was allegedly a hate group. “They’ve done so based on the Southern Poverty Law Center’s reckless labeling of AFA,” Wildmon details.

So many of these so-called “christian groups have said it’s a “badge of honor” to be labeled as a hate group. But when they get banned for being so the calls for a Whaaaaaambulance begin.

Federal Judge Rules That A Hate Group Can Be Called A Hate Group

A federal judge says a liberal advocacy group has a First Amendment right to call a Christian ministry a hate group for its opposition to homosexuality. U.S. District Judge Myron Thompson threw out a lawsuit filed by the Florida-based Coral Ridge Ministries Media Inc. against the Southern Poverty Law Center of Montgomery, Alabama.

The ministry sued the law center, Amazon and others in 2017 because it wasn’t included in a program that lets Amazon customers donate to nonprofit groups. The suit says the refusal was because the law center had labeled the ministry a hate group for its stance against homosexual behavior.

Thompson’s 141-page decision stated that the watchdog organization has a free-speech right to make the claim, but he didn’t address whether the ministry is a hate organization.

“Any organization we list as a hate group is free to disagree with us about our designation, but this ruling underscores that the designation is constitutionally protected speech and not defamatory,” said Karen Baynes-Dunning, interim president of the SPLC.

SPLC defines a hate group as an organization that attacks or maligns an entire class of people, typically over characteristics such as race, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation or gender identity. SPLC is based in Alabama, which is where the ministries filed its lawsuit and Thompson is a U.S. District Court judge.

Norman Goldwasser, by day, is an Orthodox Jewish therapist at Horizon Psychological Services who compares homosexuality to Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and misleads clients by claiming that their sexual orientation can be changed with his special brand of quack therapy, which is rejected by every respected medical and mental health association.

By night, an undercover investigation by Truth Wins Out has found, he solicits sexual partners on Manhunt, a gay dating App, using the profile “Hotnhairy72.”

During our operation, Goldwasser, going by the pseudonym “Dave”, offered to meet for sex with our operative, “Brandon,” at a Fort Lauderdale motel room. Goldwasser also had a profile on Bear Nation by the same name.

This latest scandal comes as the new movie Boy Erased(Starring Lucas Hedges, Nicole Kidman, and Russell Crowe) has brought a renewed spotlight to the issue of the harm caused by “ex-gay” programs.

Goldwasser is linked to JONAH, the ex-gay torture outfit in New Jersey that was sued  by the Southern Poverty Law Center only to close and then reopen under a different name.

Goldwasser has begged Wayne Besen the owner of Truth Wins Out who broke the story for mercy.

Besen responds:  I reminded Goldwasser that he was asking for sympathy he never afforded his victims, some teenagers, as he coldly collected their money and ruined their lives. I also told him that only caring about his own predicament without apologizing for the harm he caused other people was narcissistic — something he could, unlike homosexuality — fix by visiting a real therapist.

Dangerous Hate Leaders Issue Letter Demanding Media Stop Using SPLC’s Hate Groups List And Naming Them

Conservative leaders are calling out the liberal media for a dangerous hypocrisy: While media outlets readily promote an organization locating conservative and faith-based organizations on a “hate map,” they would never do the same for a map of abortion providers.

On Wednesday, 47 conservative leaders and organizations demanded that news outlets immediately halt their use of outhern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) data. Composed by the Family Research Council and signed by Media Research Center President Brent Bozell, the leaders published an open letter to the media detailing why outlets should stop referencing the “attack dog of the political left” while reporting.

“The SPLC is a discredited, left-wing, political activist organization that seeks to silence its political opponents with a ‘hate group’ label of its own invention and application that is not only false and defamatory,” the leaders challenged, “but that also endangers the lives of those targeted with it.” – From the extreme right-wing news group Newsbusters run by  Brent Bozell and the conservative Media Research Center (MRC)S

Raid On New Mexico Anti-Gay Hate Group Results In 100 Felony Counts Of Child Rape

Authorities investigating a paramilitary Christian sect for child sexual abuse say they looking into whether the New Mexico group brought children into the country illegally. Cibola County Sheriff Tony Mace told The Associated Press Tuesday that investigators found numerous children during a Sunday raid of the armed Aggressive Christianity Missions Training Corps in remote Fence Lake.

During the raid, authorities arrested three sect members in connection with a child abuse and child sex abuse investigation. A former group member was arrested in Truth or Consequences. Sect co-leader Deborah Green was arrested on charges that included failure to report the birth to child abuse and sexual penetration of a minor. Peter Green, also known as Mike Brandon, faces 100 counts of criminal sexual penetration of a child on suspicion of raping a girl “at least four times a week” from the time she was 7, according to court documents. – The Albuquerque Journal 

The Southern Poverty Law Center lists the The  Aggressive Christianity Missions Training Corps (also known as the Holy Tribal Nation, the Free Love Ministries, or the Life Force Team) as a hate group. The  “Christian fundamentalist”, Biblicist, theocratic cult was founded in 1981 by James and Deborah Green (sometimes collectively referred to as the Generals; and has a military structure, partially based on the original pattern of the Salvation Army.

An excerpt from their website on the 2015 ruling that made same-sex-marriage legal in all 50 states reads:

The June 26, 2015 decision to make same-sex marriage the law of the land came not from Satan, but from God! WHAT?? That’s right. We have, for years, told you this. The Mississippi Klan salutes Alabama’s chief justice Roy Moore, for refusing to bow to the yoke of Federal tyranny. The Feds have no authority over individual States marriage laws. The fudgepackers from Hollywood and all major news networks are in shock that the good people from the heart of Dixie are resisting their Imperialist, Communist Homosexual agenda!

Alabama has a Constitutional amendment, that clearly says marriage is defined as being between a man and a woman. But much as they have since the 2nd war for independence was lost in 1865, the Federal Government by way of it’s foreign masters seems set to push this abomination, on the God fearing people of Alabama. Will they send Jack Booted thugs to enforce it? Remains to be seen, but a simple study of history will show they once burned, destroyed and looted the state of Alabama. Georgia was burned almost to the ground, and in our state, Meridian Mississippi was destroyed by blue bellied sledgehammers in one day.

In a press release yesterday white supremacist-affiliated hate group leader Tony Perkins sent out a post crowing about his annual HATERPALOOZER Values Voters Summit which begins today with a guest cast straight from hell including: Mike Huckabee, Rick Santorum, Alan West, Sandy Rios, Todd Stames and of course whittle Tony himself.

“Pop Quiz: What annual event has the Left so worried that they are spending tens of thousands in advertising dollars to stop? You guessed it; the Values Voters Summit. In the Washington Post, leftwing groups including GLAAD, (known for its failed campaign to fire Duck Dynasty’s Phil Robertson,) the anti-Christian Southern Poverty Law Center, and the George Soros-funded ‘Faithful America,’ signed onto a three-quarters page ad demanding that speakers ‘not attend the Values Voter Summit.’ The ad complains that I described homosexual activist Dan Savage’s attacks on Christians as ‘disgusting.’ I believe most people would be hard pressed to disagree with my assertion. The Left is clearly discouraged by the effectiveness of the Values Voter Summit and is willing to fork over a lot of money to stifle speech they disagree with.”
