"Don't F**k With Cats" Gay Cannibal Killer Luka Magnotta Gets Married

“Don’t F**k With Cats” Gay Cannibal Killer Luka Magnotta Gets Married

Luka Magnotta who was jailed for life for murdering and chopping up another gay man in 2012 and then eating parts of him and mailing other body parts to schools and political parties in his native Canada has married.

After signing up to dating forum Canadian Inmates Connect, in June 2015, Luka Magnotta, 34, fell for Anthony Jolin, an armed robber who is serving life for stabbing another inmate to death in the shower.

On his dating profile, Magnotta, who was dubbed the “Canadian Psycho”, described himself as a single white male who was seeking a “single white male, 28-38 years of age, white and in shape.”

He added: “One who is loyal, preferably educated, financially and emotionally stable for a long term committed relationship.

“If you think you could be my prince charming, send me a detailed letter with at least two photos.”

Magnotta, a self obsessed model and escort, filmed himself eating his victim, had admitted killing Chinese student Jun Lin in May 2012, dismembering his body and mailing the wrapped hands and feet to schools and Canadian politicians.

A poem he wrote, which he sent with a body part to a school read: “Roses are red, violets are blue, the police will need dental records to identify you. Bitch.”

Toronto Sun reporter Alex West played a key role in the trial, testifying as to how he confronted Magnotta at a dingy hotel near Wembley Stadium in 2011 about sick internet videos of kittens being killed. That horrific act led Magnotta to be sought by internet sleuths and animal rights groups.

Six months after uploading the sick videos, male escort Magnotta killed Lin, 33, and filmed himself apparently eating the corpse with a knife and fork.

It took a jury eight days to throw out a not guilty plea that he was an insane schizophrenic not accountable for his actions – and convict him of the first degree murder of Lin.

A marriage licence from the Palais de justice de Sept-Îles with Magnotta’s mother Anna Yourkin listed as a witness enabled the convicts to be legally wed at the Pont-Cartier prison, where they are both serving time for murder.

Serial Killer Who Murdered 6 Gay Men Gary Ray Bowles To Be Executed in Florida on Thursday

Serial Killer Who Murdered 6 Gay Men Gary Ray Bowles To Be Executed in Florida on Thursday

Gary Ray Bowles who started an eight-month serial killing spree of six gay men is set to be the 99th death row inmate executed in Florida on Thursday.

Six gay men were savagely beaten and choked. One was bludgeoned with a discarded toilet. In every case, the victims had something crammed down their throats — a towel, wads of toilet paper, a fistful of dirt.

Each man fought for his life, but lost.

Bowles, started his eight-month homicidal binge by killing John Hardy Roberts, 59, on March 14, 1994, inside the victim’s beachside home in Daytona Beach. He was arrested a few days after killing his sixth victim, Walter Hinton, 42, in Jacksonville on Nov. 20, 1994.

Bowles committed three murders in Florida — in Daytona Beach, Jacksonville and Hilliard. He killed two other men in Georgia — one in Savannah and the other in Atlanta. He also murdered a man in Wheaton, Maryland.

He would say to the world during a television interview years later how remarkably easy it was to kill someone.

Tom Youngman, a retired homicide and crime scene investigator with the Daytona Beach Police Department, was one of a battery of investigators who interviewed Bowles following his arrest. He asked Bowles why he chose gay men as his murder victims.

“He said they only perform an act on him and he never did (to) them,” Youngman said last week. “I said, ‘Well, that’s homosexuality,’ and he says, ‘No.’

“Then what are you if you’re not a homosexual?” Youngman asked Bowles.

“I’m a hustler,” Bowles replied.

In May 1996, Bowles stunned prosecutors when he pleaded guilty to killing to the murders. They still decided to pursue the death penalty, based on the facts of the case. One victim’s head was bashed with a 40-pound concrete block and he had been suffocated with toilet paper and a wash cloth, according to court testimony.

The Jurors recommended the death sentence in a 10-2 vote in July 1996. The judge agreed and sentenced him to death later that summer.

In August 1998, the Florida Supreme Court overturned Bowles’ death sentence, saying it was wrong of the prosecution to introduce Bowles’ hatred of homosexuals as evidence.

The following May, jurors heard evidence again on whether to recommend life or death. They were unanimous the second time. Bowles was transported back to death row in September 1999, where he has remained for 20 years.

Canadian Gay Serial Killer Bruce McArthur Gets Life Sentence, Gruesome Details Revealed In Court

Serial killer Bruce McArthur, who killed and dismembered at least 8 gay men he met in Toronto’s Gay Village district, was sentenced on Friday to life in prison with no chance for parole for 25 years.

Justice John McMahon called the 67 year-old McArthur a sexual predator who killed for his own “warped sick gratification” and said the victims suffered slow and painful deaths. He called their dismemberments pure evil, and said that McArthur’s guilty plea spared a jury four months of graphic and gruesome evidence that would have likely required counseling after.

“All or most of the victims were vulnerable individuals who were lured to their death,” Justice McMahon said. “The accused exploited his victims’ vulnerabilities, whether they involved immigration concerns, mental health challenges, or people living a secretive double life.

The Guardian reported: “The court heard heard that McArthur staged photographs of his victims’ corpses, posing the bodies in a fur coat and black leather hat, and – in two cases – with a cigar between their lips. and that McArthur kept photographs of his victims – many of them taken while they were alive. McArthur also shaved and stored the facial hair from his victims,

McArthur was in the middle of a ninth murder when police knocked on his doorThe Independent reports: “Police, who had been monitoring the 67-year-old landscape gardener as a potential suspect, moved in for fears another murder was about to take place. When they arrived, they found McArthur had chained the man – identified in court only as John – to a four-poster bed and placed a black bag over his head. He was taping his victim’s mouth shut at the moment police knocked.”

McArthur pleaded guilty to killing Andrew Kinsman, Selim Esen, Majeed Kayhan, Dean Lisowick, Soroush Mahmudi, Skandaraj Navaratnam, Abdulbasir Faizi and Kirushna Kanagaratnam.

JMcMahon said that even if McArthur lives to 91, the chances of him getting parole are remote at best.

San Francisco PD Releases Updated Sketch Of Serial Killer Who Killed 5 Gay Men in the 1970's

COLD CASE: San Francisco PD Releases Updated Sketch Of Serial Killer Who Killed 5 Gay Men in the 1970’s

San Francisco police on Wednesday released a sketch of a serial killer dubbed the “Doodler” who terrorized San Francisco’s gay community over 40 years ago.

The sketch is “age-progressed” and shows what the man might look like today. They also announced a $100,000 reward for details leading to his capture.

Police believe the killer stabbed at least five men to death from early 1974 to late 1975.

He became known as the “Doodler” after a victim who survived an attack told police the man was doodling while they talked at a late-night diner and said he was a cartoonist

“In the 1970s, this was gripping the gay community and San Francisco,” police Commander Greg McEachern told the news conference, saying authorities were releasing the new sketch in hopes of bringing justice to victims of the “horrendous homicides.”

It’s one of several cold cases, particularly serial crimes, being re-examined after the capture last year of the notorious “Golden State Killer” through DNA analysis, McEachern said. Police have submitted DNA samples from some of the 1970s crime scenes in the Doodler case and were waiting for results from a lab.

Police described the killer as an African-American male, about 5 feet, 11 inches tall with a lanky build who was likely in his early 20s during the attacks.

The killer targeted white men he met at after-hours gay clubs and restaurants in San Francisco. He usually sketched them before having sex and stabbing them.

The bodies of four men were found along the beach. Another stabbing victim was found in Golden Gate Park.

Witness at that time were able to give investigators a description of the suspect, leading to a man being detained in 1976 but never charged.

Police have interviewed the man since returning to the case and he remains a person of interest. His name was not released .

An AP story from 1977 quotes police as saying the suspect at the time could not be charged because three survivors, including a “well-known entertainer” and a diplomat were reluctant to “come out of the closet” to testify against him.

Toronto Police Identify 8th Victim of Serial Killer Bruce McArthur

Toronto police announced new charges Monday after connecting an 8th murder against serial killer Bruce McArthur who targeted gay men, sex workers,  and immigrants.

McArthur now faces first-degree murder charges for the killing of Kirushna Kumar Kanagaratnam, who was slain sometime between Sept. 3 and Dec. 14, 2015, according to the Toronto Police Service.

All of the previously identified victims had ties to Toronto’s Gay Village community. The killing spree dates back at least until 2010, according to police.

Police are still investigating Kanagaratnam’s background, but have yet to find any connection between the immigrant and the gay community, said Detective Sgt. Hank Idsinga, the lead investigator.

Investigators were able to identify Kanagaratnam, 37, who came to Canada from Sri Lanka in 2010, after releasing a photo of him last week. He had not been reported missing.

“He doesn’t quite fit the profile we’ve seen before,” said Idsinga, who declined to comment on Kanagaratnam’s immigration status.

McArthur, who made a brief court appearance Monday where he was read the new charges, now has been implicated in the slayings of eight men between 2010 and 2017. Seven of the victims’ remains were found in planters at a property where the suspect stored tools.

Police in Toronto have faced criticism in the city’s LGBT community, who question why it took so long for authorities to ascertain a serial killer had been preying on gay men. The Toronto Globe & Mail and Toronto Star have reported that McArthur had been questioned by police in 2013 or 2014.

“We knew something was up. … We did not have the evidence,” Chief Mark Saunders told The Globe and Mail in a February interview. “If anyone knew before us, it’s people who knew him very, very well. And so that did not come out.”

Police arrested McArthur in January and initially charged him with murdering Andrew Kinsman, an LGBT activist, and Selim Esen, 44, a Turkish immigrant.

McArthur was later charged with the murders of Dean Lisowick,  a sex worker, Majeed Kayhan, a 58-year-old Afghan immigrant who had been missing since 2012; Soroush Marmoudi, a 50-year-old immigrant from Iran reported missing in 2015; Skandaraj Navaratnam, a refugee from Sri Lanka who was last seen in 2010.

Toronto Police Find 7th Gay Victim in Serial Killer Case

Toronto Police Find Remains of 7th Gay Victim in Bruce McArthur Serial Killer Case

Toronto police have found a seventh set of remains related to the investigation into serial killer Bruce McArthur and have released a picture of a bearded, darker skinned dead man.

Detective Sgt. Hank Idsinga said Monday they could not identify the man in the picture and are now seeking the public’s help.

“I do not want to release this picture and I’m doing so as a last resort,” he said.

This brings the number of seven individuals found this year in large planters at a home where McArthur did landscaping work and stored objects.

Idsinga said they realize how difficult it might be for a relative or friend to see the picture and realize the man is deceased.

“I’ve never done this before,” he said about releasing the photo. “I do it with great hesitation. It is obviously a key piece of evidence that we have that we are releasing, but we feel by releasing it, hopefully we can identify him and close off that area of the investigation.

Investigators have not yet released complete details, but Bruce McArthur is believed to have met his alleged victims in the Gay Village and on gay dating apps for older and large men with names such as “SilverDaddies” and “Bear411.”

McArthur, a grandfather and former mall Santa Claus, has not entered a plea. His case is due back in court March 14. Edward Royle, a lawyer for McArthur, has previously declined to comment on the case.

Police Recover Sixth Body of Gay Man From Toronto Gay Serial Killer Dump Sites

The Toronto Sun reports:

Toronto police have now recovered the remains of six individuals in an investigation into what they have described as the work of a serial killer. Bruce McArthur, 66, has been charged with five counts of first-degree murder in the disappearances of Andrew Kinsman, Selim Esen, Majeed Kayhan, Soroush Mahmudi and Dean Lisowick.

Speaking Thursday at a home on Mallory Cres., near Bayview and Moore Aves., where Bruce McArthur mowed the owner’s lawn in exchange for storing landscaping equipment in the garage, Det. Sgt. Hank Idsinga said Kinsman’s remains are among those recovered.

Investigators have expanded their search to more than 30 properties tied to McArthur’s landscaping business. Police have been at the Mallory house since Jan. 18, when they arrived with a search warrant forcing Karen Fraser and Ron Smith to leave their home.

In 2001 McArthur bludgeoned a man with a metal pipe and was convicted on three counts – possession of a dangerous weapon, assault with a weapon, and assault causing bodily harm – in 2003. The attack was so violent that he was sentenced to two years less a day of a conditional sentence, and three years probation as well as having a host of conditions imposed upon being spared jailtime. He was banned from the streets that constitute Toronto’s gay village and forbidden from consorting with male prostitutes.

McArthur had a profile seeking sexual encounters on SilverDaddies.com a dating and sex site for older men and their admirers.

Serial Killer Arrested In Toronto, Charged With The Murder of 2 Gay Men

Toronto police charged a 66-year-old man for allegedly murdering two gay men and admitted they believe he’s responsible for several other deaths after a rash of disappearances in Toronto’s gay community.

Via The National Post:

Homicide Detective-Sgt. Hank Idsinga said Bruce McArthur, who works as a self-employed landscape designer was arrested at 10:25 a.m. this morning after significant progress was made in the investigation into the Village disappearances on Wednesday.

Although no bodies were recovered, McArthur was charged with the first-degree murder of Andrew Kinsman, 49 and Selim Esen, 42. Kinsman was last seen on June 26, less than two km away from the Village, a downtown neighbourhood known as a hub to the LGBTQ community. Two months earlier, Esen was last seen one block north of the neighbourhood.

Idsinga said both Kinsman and Esen had a relationship with McArthur formed through dating apps.

Police had been investigating McArthur for months, they said. Yesterday, they discovered evidence that “pushed [them] over the edge.”

“We have some evidence that leads us to believe there are further victims,” said Idsinga. “We are aware of the other missing men from the village, and we’re trying to identify whether they’ve become victims of Mr. McArthur as well.”

After denying there was a serial killer behind a rash of disappearances, Idsinga refused to label McArthur a “serial killer”.

40 Years Later One Of John Wayne Gacy’s Victims Is Finally Identified

Now after 40 years the Cook County Sheriff’s office has identified one of the few remaining unidentified unknown victims of notorious serial killer John Wayne Gacy.

16 year old runaway from Minnesota, James Byron Haakenson was believed to have been killed in August 1976.  Haakenson’s family received the grim news from a Cook County investigator this week.

Lorie Sisterman who was John’s sister submitted a sample of her DNA after someone in the family wondered if James had been a Gacy victim. The DNA turned out to be a match with one of the seven left unknown victims.

Sisterman, the oldest sibling, said the father of the family drank and wasn’t always around and that her brother was a troubled youth who ran away to Chicago at the age of 16.

She remembers a conversation with another sibling around that time.

“And he said something like, ‘Jimmy’s wearing makeup.’ And I’m like, ‘What?’ Well maybe he’s into the gay lifestyle.” Sisterman went onto say not all the family were understanding about it.

Shortly after that Jimmy ran away from home.

Jimmy Haakenson called his mother from Chicago on August 5, 1976.

Then, after that there was no word for over 40 years.

This week, a Cook County Sheriff’s detective went to Minnesota to tell the family the news.

“We talked.  A couple of people burst out crying. And all I could say was, ‘Wow,” Sisterman said.“”It’s not every day you hear a monster murdered your brother.”

John Wayne Gacy sexually assaulted, tortured and murdered at least 33 teenage boys and young men between 1972 and 1978.  He was finally executed by lethal injection at Stateville Correctional Center on May 10, 1994.

It is reported that his final spoken words were simply, “Kiss my ass.”

LIVING SOCIAL Offers Concealed Weapons Class While GROUPON Offers Jeffery Dahmer Walking Tour

Both Living Social and Groupon are pushing the limits of good taste as both within 24 hours have offered bizarre deals featuring guns and serial killers.

In Cincinnati Living Social is offering a deal on Ohio State Concealed Gun Weapon Classes stating that:

According to a song sung by a certain Prince of Darkness, Iron Man once turned to steel in the great magnetic field, but with today’s deal, you need not endure such extremes to keep your family safe

Also  Groupon was offering a deep discount on a walking tour of the Milwaukee “hunting grounds” where Jeffrey Dahmer met his victims.  Dahmer would frequent gay bars in the area. He was arrested in 1991 and admitted to killing 17 young men, some of whom he mutilated and cannibalized

Groupon offered two tickets for $25, instead of the normal $60, and called the 1-mile, 90-minute tour a “spine-chilling glimpse” into Dahmer’s life.   But only 15 tickets sold before the daily-deal website closed the promotion. Spokesman Nicholas Halliwell said in an emailed statement that it was never Groupon’s intention to offend anyone.

The company behind the tours is still offering them, however, despite protests from the neighborhood, where many of the victims’ families still live:

This is the way the world ends: This is the way the world ends: This is the way the world ends: With a bang and a Groupon daily deal.
