Conservative talk radio host Rush Limbaugh on Tuesday addressed the controversy over his homophobic attacks on Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg, revealing that President Donald Trump called him and advised him to “never apologize” for the remarks.
On the Tuesday edition of his radio show, the right-wing talker insisted that he was entirely unaware of the firestorm his remarks had created—until the president checked in to see how his treatment for lung cancer was going.
“So, he called back, and he said ‘Rush, I just got to tell you something. Never apologize, don’t ever—’ and I said, ‘For what?’” Limbaugh noted.
“Well, I had no idea this thing had even bubbled up, you know? I’m doing the medical thing that I have to do here. And I wasn’t even aware of this.”
Yes Rush never apologize. just go to your grave an unrepentant douchebag and not care what hateful garbage you left behind.
As for Donald Trump. No one loves you. They merely hate alongside you.
Conservative radio host, drug addict and adulterer Rush Limbaugh found last night’s Grammy Awards to be “despicable,” but he wasn’t surprised. On his radio show Monday morning, the host reacted to the award show that featured Katy Perry “dressed as a witch and burned at the stake” while gay couples were married to the song “Same Love” by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. Via Meditaite:
“It was horrible, it was despicable,” Limbaugh said of the show. He agreed with the words of former Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron, who thought the “demonic” performances showed there’s “a lot of evil in the world.” Limbaugh also admonished Macklemore’s lyrics, which “openly attacked right-wing conservatives and Christians.” But Limbaugh said the controversy was “the point” of shows like Grammy Awards, which aim to “mock, insult and lampoon their audience.” He went on to connect the award show to CNN. “Nobody watches, but because they have not strayed from the liberal path, they are still loved and adored and praised,” he said of that network, though he did not say by whom. “They have not watered down the liberalism.”
Early Neilsen numbers show that 28.5 million Americans watched the Grammy’s last night. Or as Limbaugh said, “nobody.”
Rush Limbaugh (remember him) is fed up about all this gay support and being called an intolerant bigot (which he is) for not showing support for the newly out pro athlete. Jason Collins.
“There is no tolerance at all here,” Limbaugh said to his tea party audience of 57 and 3 sponsors on his radio show today. “Not only do these people have to publicly announce it, everyone else has to applaud and accept it. If you wanna say you’re gay, fine, but does it have to be rammed down everyone’s throats all the time?” Limbaugh bitched.
“I grew up in a family… where people’s sexual orientation, preferences, whatever – weren’t even discussed,” he added. “Why can’t everyone just put your sexual preferences on Facebook and call it a day?”
Limbaugh also complained how anyone who doesn’t openly support Collins is labeled a “bigot,” “racist,” “extremist” or “homophobe.”
Not content on just being a racist knuckle-dragger, right-wing clown Rush Limbaugh sought to revive his age old lie that Rep. Barney Frank ran a prostitution ring from his basement. I think he’s confusing Rep. Frank with Dick Morris.
On his radio show last week, Rush Limbaugh claimed that the “powerful gay lobby” is stopping the media from calling Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky, who has been charged with child molestation “gay”
LIMBAUGH:Sandusky does not represent all of homosexuality, just like the priests in the Catholic Church don’t represent all of homosexuality, just like the aberrant criminals in heterosexual society don’t represent all heterosexuals. But because the gay lobby is very powerful, people don’t go there. People don’t address it, they don’t talk about it, and as such, an element of the problem never gets dealt with.
Perhaps Limberger Limbaugh doesn’t understand the reason the media isn’t calling Sandusky “gay” is because Standusky DOES NOT identify as gay, is married, has grown children and experts say that men who molest young boys aren’t necessarily gay, and there is no credible link between homosexuality and pedophilia.
But that doesn;t stop old expert Rush who exclaimed: “Sandusky has to be — he’s a gay guy. Nobody’s mentioning that aspect, because it’s just too dangerous.”
Perhaps Limbaugh has some first hand experience at pedophilia that we all know nothing about that makes him an expert. Limbaugh keeps calling this subject “the elephant in the room” maybe thats because Sandusky as well as Joe Paterno are BOTH registered Republican’s
Maybe it’s a “GOP” thing?
““Sandusky has to be — he’s a Republican”
Limbaugh’s attitude is exactly the type of attitude that also equates rape with sex and sexual harassment with sexual attraction.
