Pelosi Declares Public Option DEAD – I Declare America’s Governing System TOTALLY F@#ked
Nancy Pelosi via Talking Points Memo:
“We’re talking about something that’s not going to be part of the legislation. I’m quite sad that a public option isn’t in there. But it isn’t a case of it’s not in there because the Senate is whipping against it. It’s not in there because they don’t have the votes to have it in there. We had it. We wanted it. They didn’t have it. It’s not in the reconciliation.”
With an overwheling majority of Americans for the Public Option in The Health Care Reform Bill this was the Democrats last chance to not only save the face of their party and their majority in the 2010/2012 Elections, but to also show that our goverment and elected politicans actually listen to the people of America which has now unequivocally been proved they do not.
In a nutshell, America sucks.
