Norman Goldwasser, by day, is an Orthodox Jewish therapist at Horizon Psychological Services who compares homosexuality to Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and misleads clients by claiming that their sexual orientation can be changed with his special brand of quack therapy, which is rejected by every respected medical and mental health association.
By night, an undercover investigation by Truth Wins Out has found, he solicits sexual partners on Manhunt, a gay dating App, using the profile “Hotnhairy72.”
During our operation, Goldwasser, going by the pseudonym “Dave”, offered to meet for sex with our operative, “Brandon,” at a Fort Lauderdale motel room. Goldwasser also had a profile on Bear Nation by the same name.
This latest scandal comes as the new movie Boy Erased(Starring Lucas Hedges, Nicole Kidman, and Russell Crowe) has brought a renewed spotlight to the issue of the harm caused by “ex-gay” programs.
Goldwasser has begged Wayne Besen the owner of Truth Wins Out who broke the story for mercy.
Besen responds: I reminded Goldwasser that he was asking for sympathy he never afforded his victims, some teenagers, as he coldly collected their money and ruined their lives. I also told him that only caring about his own predicament without apologizing for the harm he caused other people was narcissistic — something he could, unlike homosexuality — fix by visiting a real therapist.
A northern Indiana man convicted of fatally beating a gay Afghanistan war veteran has been sentenced to the maximum 65 years in prison.
Jabreeh Davis-Martin was sentenced Tuesday after being convicted of murder in the January 2016 slaying 27-year-old Jodie Henderson, a member of the Army National Guard.
Henderson, 27, was found the morning of Jan.16, 2016, lying in the street, beaten to death in South Bend.
Henderson was a veteran of the war in Afghanistan and he was also gay. Henderson had feelings for Davis-Martin, and supposedly Davis-Martin was also gay, according to testimony during the trial. Davis-Martin’s lawyers argued that their client killed Henderson because he was going to out him.
But even though sexual orientation motivated the killing, hate crime legislation had nothing to do with the sentencing. Indiana is one of only five states that lack hate crime protections. Not for race, religion, sex, disability, gender identity or sexual orientation. Henderson’s family supported reform, but an attempt to make such a law failed in February at the state’s General Assembly.
At number 56 on their list was twenty-five-year-old, country singer and five-time Grammy nominee Hunter Hayes.
The only problem is Hunter Hayes has never come out as gay and is in all probability is straight.
Hayes has never mentioned anything about being gay, or even bi-sexual. An intensive search of Google has turned up nothing, and it is reported that he has a longtime girlfriend by the name of Libby Barnes which he recently recorded his last song for.
Do does OUT which is owned by Regent Entertainment Media, Inc., a division of Here Media which also owns the Advocate know something that we don’t and just outed the kid? (Which would probably not be good for him seeing that he is in country music) Or is this just another in a long line of mistakes by the LGBT media publication.
Keegan Hirst, the hunky 27 year old British Rugby League player who came out last August in an interview with GuysLikeU.com, has said that he is opposed to the outing gay athletes.
“I don’t think it’s fair to try and force it. A person, whoever they are, can only come out when they want to. They’ll feel the same as anybody else does before they come out. But if a regular guy has 100 people to come out to, to be possibly rejected by, footballers have 50,000 people who they feel may reject them. I think only when they’re totally comfortable with their situation will you get a footballer who publicly comes out,” he said.
Hirst, a father of two, in the interview also talked about being a gay father of two and how his love life comes second to being a dad.
“She’s aware,” Hirst said of his 7-year-old daughter’s knowledge of his sexuality. “It doesn’t really affect the kids, so I don’t need to bang on about it to them. But yes, they’re aware. My son is too young to understand so I guess he’ll just grow up and not know any different.”
In a rather lengthy Facebook post, gay CBS journalist Itay Hod has essentially outed Illinois Republican Congressman Aaron Schock.
Schock (which rhymes with cock) has been dodging his gay “rumors” for years while constantly voting the along the lines of the GOP’s anti-gay ticket.
“People always say, no one has the right to out anyone. that coming out is a private matter. i disagree. as you can imagine, not a very popular opinion. but bear with me.
Here’s a hypothetical: what if you know a certain GOP congressman, let’s just say from Illinois, is gay… and you know this because one of your friends, a journalist for a reputable network, told you in no uncertain terms that he caught that GOP congressman and his male roommate in the shower… together. Now they could have been good friends just trying to conserve water. but there’s more. what if this congressman has also been caught by TMZ cameras trolling gay bars. now what if you know that this very same guy, the darling of the gop, has also voted against repeal of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell, opposed the repeal of DOMA, is against gay marriage; and for the federal marriage amendment, which would add language to the us constitution banning gay marriage and would likely strike down every gay rights law and ordinance in the country?
Are we still not allowed to out him?
Let me ask another question… doesn’t the media have an OBLIGATION to expose his hypocrisy? If he had done something so hypocritical and he wasn’t gay, wouldn’t we demand journalists do their job? But they can’t… because we won’t let them. you’re not allowed to out ANYONE, we tell them.
We’ve created a situation where even though news organizations know this guy is gay, they can’t report it because he hasn’t said so on twitter.
If we keep saying that being gay is genetic; ergo, it’s no different than having blue eyes or blonde hair… than why are not allowed to mention it? why do we need anyone’s consent to talk about their sexuality? are we not allowed to say someone has blue eyes until they post a fb message telling us they are in fact blue?
We’ve been so effective at convincing everyone that outing people is a crime against humanity, that we’ve made it impossible for any network or news organization to talk about this “hypothetical” gay republican congressman and his hypocritical vote against gay rights. they won’t touch it for fear of retribution from GLAAD or HRC. (in fact when my friend’s network interviewed said hypothetical republican, he talked about wanting to find a nice woman to marry… and the network aired it… knowing it was a lie…)”
Good for Itay.
This has been another of the GOP’s dirty little gay cover-ups D.C. since 2009 when Schock took office. Schock calls his being questioned of his sexuality and his anti-gay GOP voting record “inappropriate and ridiculous” and not “worthy of further response.” Well it is appropriate and not only is it worthy of a response from him but is also the LGBT community’s duty to out him once and for all before she becomes a longtime GOP Closet Case Teflon Queen like Miss Lindsey Graham.
The media both gay and straight and we as individual activists ABSOLUTELY have an obligation and a right to expose such dangerous hypocrisy in elected officials.
Now all we need is one gay man to step forward and come out publicly and admit to sleeping or dating Aaron Schock.
If you are out there and you are reading this PLEASE contact us or someone else in the media. You’d be doing your community a great service.
Washington, D.C.’s Mike Rogers who is best known for his activity in outing closeted gay republican politicians who actively oppose equality for LGBT Americans and was lead subject of Kirby Dick’s documentary Outrage took to Twitter this morning to point out GOP traditional values Senator John Barasso who appeared on Fox News Sunday should have taken the opportunity to come out of the closet.
Barrasso was quoted as saying, “I believe in limited government, lower taxes, less spending, traditional family values, local control and a strong national defense,” and said he has “voted for prayer in schools, against gay marriage and [has] sponsored legislation to protect the “sanctity of life”
When reached for comment, Rogers who has had a 100% record on outing closeted GOP politicians replied: “My tweets stand on their own”.
Ten GOP members of the U.S. Senate have filed a Supreme Court brief against the overturning of DOMA and one of them if the notorious self-loathing closet case Lindsey Graham.
Notwithstanding the Attorney General’s belated discovery of DOMA’s allegedly unconstitutional motivation, this argument is flawed because legislative motivation is not a basis for setting aside a federal statute supported by legitimate and rational government interests. This Court’s precedents do not sup-port evaluating the constitutionality of a federal statute based on subjective characterizations of the motives of individual legislators. In any event, support for traditional marriage cannot be equated to“animus,” as Justice O’Connor observed in her concurrence in Lawrence v. Texas, 539 U.S. 558, 585(2003). It would be particularly inappropriate to invalidate DOMA based on the alleged motivations of individual supporters, given that the statute was passed with overwhelming bipartisan support and signed into law by President Clinton.
Graham a “lifelong bachelor” is well-known in D.C. to be a closeted homosexual in the tradition of Ken Mehlman and Roy Cohn and has never been officially outed.
NFL football player Darnell Dockett, who currently plays defensive end for the Arizona Cardinals is having a meltdown after Chris Rix, Darnell’s former Florida State Seminoles teammate and current college football insider for Fox Sports, went on Jay Mohr’s radio show yesterday and implies that Dockett is gay.
“There was always jokes about Darnell, and what his preference was in college, if I might. Because there was a few incidents of him hanging out with some dudes in the Union and some other stuff.” Mohr goes on to ask if other guys ever made fun of Dockett’s sexuality to his face, to which Rix replies, “Yes, they did. And he would get defensive at times, as most guys would. But let’s just say that there were a few stories of ‘Why is Darnell hanging out at this guy’s house or this guy’s dorm room?'”
To his credit Rix did try to apologize via Twitter:
@ddockett Apologize about radio show yesterday Dock! Convo was about you, KWebb & GJones..I let it go somewhere it shouldn’t have. My bad DD
But Dockett was having none of it and went off on a violent twitter rampage because being hinted at that you are gay when you are a big macho football player who makes a living hanging around in a locker room with big beefy men, wearing skin-tight uniform pants and slapping others on the ass is the worst thing in the world.
I swear I my dead mother @coachrix when I see you that’s your ass! Period! Fuck bitch lying on me bobby Bowden didn’t like yo sorry ass! — DARNELL DOCKETT (@ddockett) February 7, 2013
@coachrix fuck you bitch I heard u lying on me , no one liked your sorry ass ever, when I see u im whooping yo ass on everything I love. — DARNELL DOCKETT (@ddockett) February 7, 2013
@coachrix and fuck yo apology pussy! Say everything u said on radio in my face! — DARNELL DOCKETT (@ddockett) February 7, 2013
After they were reported Dockett removed the above violent postings from his Twitter page
Bitter about being passed over for the lead in Django Unchained, Actor/Comedienne Katt Williams took out his frustration on Jamie Foxx during a recent show Los Angeles outing Foxx as gay and criticizing him for playing a gun-wielding slave in the film.
“I can even tell you the name of the dude he f–ked. His name is Marcus ANthony, he’s the only dude signed to Jamie Foxx’s label. Dude told me I can bring him on the stage an air it out.”
William continued bashing Foxx for even considering the role in the Quentin Tarantino flick.
“FUCK Jamie Foxx and the Django Unchained check he cashed. They offered me the script and I said ‘Any ni–a that do this deserves to die.’ And the next thing I heard, Jamie Foxx was in makeup.”
Jamie Foxx has not resounded to Williams accusations.
But rumours have been circulating for years about Foxx being gay.
