SCOTUS Ethics Breach: Supreme Court Judges Alito and Kavanaugh Meet w/ Anti-LGBT Hate Group Leader

SCOTUS Ethics Breach: Supreme Court Judges Alito and Kavanaugh Meet w/ Anti-LGBT Hate Group Leader

Via the website Above The Law:

If the Supreme Court followed the basic rules of ethics applicable to every other court, Supreme Court Justices Samuel Alito and Brett Kavanaugh would have to recuse themselves from the Bostock, Altitude Express, and R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Homes cases — the ones which seek to reinterpret Title VII to allow for bigotry against the LGBT community. Alito and Kavanaugh took some sort of meeting and even posed for a picture with the leader of a virulent anti-LGBT group, the National Organization for Marriage (NOM).

It’s really bad enough that conservative justices are so willing to give public aid and comfort to right-wing groups like the Federalist Society. But this meeting with the NOM is is outrageous. NOM has filed an amicus brief with the Court in the Bostock/Altitude/Funeral Homes cases. The Court has heard arguments and the justices are ostensibly working on their opinions in those cases RIGHT NOW. Taking meeting and a picture with people who have a case and argument pending in front of you would be unacceptable for any other court in the land.

Brian Brown has a long history of anti-gay activism is working to get the Supreme Court to overturn its 2015 Obergefell decision. He also has publically denounced presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg’s marriage as illegitimate.

SCOTUS unfortunately is not subject to the same ethics rules that all other judges in the country are.

National Organization for Marriage Anti-Gay Marriage March Draws Whopping 45 Bigot Crowd

NOM’s fifth annual anti-LGBT marriage march in Washington DC today drew a hilarious 45 attendees yesterday including five men wearing the signature red capes of the group Tradition, Family and Property and carrying a “Honk for Traditional Marriage” sign.

Brian Brown who is not only the head of the National Organization for Marriage but also the President of the worldwide anti-LGBT hate group the World Congress of Families told the crowd not to be discouraged by their small numbers, comparing their cause to that of abolitionists in the 18th and early 19th century.

“We are on the side of truth,” he said. “We are on the side of true human rights, we are on the side of true civil rights. And in every fight for civil rights it took a creative minority who were willing to stand up and speak truth to power no matter what the cost. And you know what? There may not be thousands of us here today. It doesn’t matter. There were only a few that stood with William Wilberforce when he stood up and said ‘no’ to the slave trade in England. He was mocked, he was derided, he was laughed at. We remember him as a hero now, because ultimately his life’s work was successful, but it wasn’t successful in his own lifetime.”

“Every year, we’re going to be here whether there’s thousands or hundreds or tens” of people, he said.

Brown insisted that the Supreme Court “did not and could not and will not change the nature of marriage” but instead “put a lie within the law.”

Brown also invited three African-American anti-marriage-equality activists to speak, including Eric Wallace of Freedom’s Journal Institute, a cosponsor of the march. Wallace hosted a Black Conservative Summit in Washington this week that was billed as a regional event for Brown’s anti-LGBT hate group the World Congress of Families.

Brown claims the small turnout was due to scheduling and permit troubles.

Each year, anti-LGBT hate group World Congress of Families holds a major annual summit, in addition to smaller regional gatherings. The summit often attracts around three thousand people, and it’s held in major cities around the world.

This year, the eleventh annual gathering is slated for May 25 through 28 (with WCF events scheduled May 26 and 27) for Budapest, Hungary with the theme “Building Family-Friendly Nations: Making Families Strong Again,” and already the speakers’ list is shaping up as a who’s who on the anti-LGBT and anti-choice Christian Right.

WCF and its conferences serve as important networking sites for Christian Right activists from around the world, and often include local legislators and religious officials. The Budapest host committee was led by Hungarian government official Katalin Novák, Secretary of State for Youth, Family and International Affairs, which falls under the purview of Hungary’s Ministry of Capacities, headed by cabinet minister Zoltan Balog. – via The Southern Poverty Law Center

Other haters planning to attend include the Alliance Defending Freedom and C-FAM, both of whom advocate for criminalizing homosexuality, anti-LGBT and abortion whack-job  Alveda C. King, and  Austin Ruse.

Homosexuality is legal in Hungary for both men and women. Discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity is banned in the country. However, households headed by same-sex couples are not eligible for the same legal rights available to opposite-sex married couples. Registered partnership for same-sex couples was legalized in 2009.

Last year National Organization for Marriage  leader Brian Brownshirt was elected as the president of the World Congress of Families.

Brian Brown’s NOM and WCF Anti-Gay Protest At Mexican Embassy In DC Draws Whopping Crowd of 5 Homophobes

nom-wcf-protest-mexican-embasy

Brian Brown the former leader of the anti-LGBT hate group the National Organization for Marriage, and current leader of the the anti-gay hate group the World Congress of Familes (you need a scorecard kids) called for his evil minions followers to  gather in front of the Mexican Embassy in Washington, D.C. on Friday afternoon to denounce the continuing momentum towards marriage equality across Mexico, including a presidential proposal for federal marriage equality.

Only 5 homophobes showed up.

Speaking at the sparsely attended protest outside the Mexican Embassy, Diego von Stauffenberg of the National Organization for Marriage (NOM) called for the “defense of natural marriage between one man and one woman.” He added that the “fabric of civic order would be weakened” by marriage equality. Stauffenberg additionally called for the “content and ideology” of LGBT-acceptance to be excluded from public education in Mexico.

NOM and the World Congress of Families (WCF), both of which are categorized as anti-LGBTQ hate groups by the Southern Poverty Law Center, organized the protest. An anti-equality rally dubbed the “National March for the Family” is expected to take place in Mexico City tomorrow. WCF’s new director Brian Brownshirt is expected to attend the march.

Can you really call it a protest when you draw fewer people than a Duggar family picnic?

Hate Promotion: NOM’s Brian Brown(shirt) Elected New President of World Congress of Families Hate Group

NOM's Brian Brown(shirt) Elected New President of World Congress of Families Hate Group

With the anti-gay National Organization for Marriage dying a far too slow of a death after SCOTUS ruled same-sex marriage legal in every state of the union it was just a matter of time until President and resident rancid dough boy Brian Brown jumped ship to find a new home that pays for his open hatred of LGBT people.   Since Brownshirt has already worked with the viciously anti-LGBT World Congress of Families in a minor role in the past, today he makes a major leap in his anti-LGBT hate career and has been voted in as WCF’s new President.

Brown was elected at the recent World Congress of Families X conference in Tbilisi, Georgia. He will continue to serve as president of NOM. “I am honored that the Board of the World Congress of Families has elected me to serve as its president, and I look forward to continuing to work to advance the pro-family movement in the US and around the world,” Brown said. “Preserving and promoting the natural family as the core institution of society is an essential task if we are to build strong, stable, healthy communities.”

The World Congress of Families (WCF) is anchored in truths enshrined in the United Nations’ Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which provides that, “Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion” (article 18), and that, “The family is the natural and fundamental group unit of society and is entitled to protection by society and the State” (article 16(3)). WCF focuses on providing that protection to which the natural family is entitled, while also protecting the right to freedom of conscience and religion. WCF upholds the rule of law, condemns violence, and respects the dignity and rights of all.

“In recent years, secular leaders around the world have become obsessed with advancing so-called ‘alternative’ family structures. But there is no family structure more valuable and important to children and civilization as a whole than that of a married father and mother raising the children born of their union in an intact and loving family,” Brown said. “The natural family produces the best outcomes for society – promoting child health and well-being, encouraging marital happiness, enhancing economic prosperity, reducing delinquency and criminality, enhancing educational attainment, promoting spiritual growth, and securing liberty and human dignity. I look forward to contributing to WCF’s work to develop and advance pro-family policies around the world.”

WCF spreads LGBT hate on a global scale and has been to pushing an anti-LGBT agenda in such countries as Africa, Russia, Jamaica and the Ukraine.

Congratulations on failing up Brian.

Anti-LGBT Hate Group Leaders Head to Barbados to Spread Propaganda at WCF Conference

LGBT Hate Group Leaders to Barbados to Spread Propaganda at WCF Conference

Anti-LGBT hate group leaders and activists from around the globe will gather in Barbados this weekend to spread propaganda and lies at a  gathering hosted by the World Congress of Families (WCF).

Designated an anti-LGBT hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center, WCF provides a platform for some of the most virulently anti-LGBT extremists from around the world.

WCF has held previous Caribbean conferences in 2012 and 2013, both in Trinidad.

Veronica Evelyn the WCF coordinator of the Caribbean hate-fest states: “Dysfunctional family structures are a legacy of the Caribbean’s colonial past. Strong nations are built on strong families and the WCF conference will provide a platform for equipping leaders across the Caribbean to firmly define and passionately pursue core values regarding marriage, family and human sexuality.”

Conference speakers include Theresa Okafor, who has compared LGBT people to Boko Haram, notorious hate group leader buffoon, Brian Brown. president and co-founder of the National Organization for Marriage, Glenn Stanton of Focus on the Family and “Dr.” Michael Combs of the National Family Association.

World Congress of Families has held past regional conferences in Canada, Trinidad, Bolivia, London,, Kenya, Nigeria, Serbia, Moldova, Latvia, Ukraine, Russia.

Although the WCF is a project of the Illinois-based Howard Center for Family, Religion and Society, donations and dues from the usual anti-LGBT suspects such as Focus on the Family, NOM, and Tony Perkin’s Family Research Council its been discovered recently that the GFC Foundation  (God, Family and Country) which is run by Utah’s Sutherland Institute’s chairman Stan Swim who also happens to serves on the WCF’s board of directors and GFC has donated over $300,000.00 to the WCF hate group to hold their conferences.

WCF supporter and  affiliate Scott Lively, who may also be attending the conference, traveled repeatedly to Uganda, claiming that LGBT people are responsible for the Holocaust, the Rwandan genocide and the spread of HIV and AIDS and is not only tied to but has also been named

FOX News’ Megyn Kelly Spars With NOM’s Anti-Gay Leader Brian Brown – Video

Fox - Kelly v Brown

Mediaite reports that even Megyn Kelly, Fox News’ own 21st Century’s version of Toyko Rose doesn’t suffer fools like the National Organization for Marriages’ hate group leader Brian Brown lightly.

On the heels of Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore‘s order to halt same-sex marriage licenses in the state, an emboldened National Organization for Marriage decided to send a history major to do a lawyer’s job. Fox News anchor and experienced lawyer Megyn Kelly hosted Brian Brown (the NOM president, not the Australian guy from Cocktail) on Wednesday night’s The Kelly File to discuss Moore’s order. Brown was doing pretty well for himself until he started to say words, and then things went all haywire for him.

Remember this is the same Megyn Kelly who practically drools over Tony Per-KKK-ins.

NOM’s Brian Brown(shirt) Goes After The Equality Act Of 2015: “Its Special Rights!”

Brian brownshit

Now that Brian Brown leader of the hate group the National Organization for Marriage has lost the battle he has dropped the false pretext that  NOM’s cause was only about the “sanctity of marriage” and is now letting his full anti-gay hate spew forth.

Brian it seems is very upset at the prospects of LGBT Americans being granted the same protections that “religion” has enjoyed by being included in the 1964 Civil Rights Act. and still has the nerve to lie and call it “special rights”

“Sponsored by the grossly-misnamed Human Rights Campaign special interest group, HR 3185 is breathtaking in its scope. It would allow gay and lesbian activists to persecute Americans in virtually every area of society — in employment, public accommodations, housing, credit, and a dozen other areas of civil life. Wherever federal law prohibits racial discrimination, it would also prohibit ‘discrimination’ based on ‘sexual orientation and gender identity.’ The legislation puts in the crosshairs anyone who believes God created people male and female. It would declare that a traditional view of human sexuality is hateful and bigoted and treat Christians, Jews and other people of faith just as the law treats racists. HR 3185 specifically denies someone who has been targeted the ability to rely on the provisions of the Religious Freedom Restoration Act as a defense against the complaint of discrimination.

“Please act today to help us defeat HR 3185. Click here to send a message to your federal representatives asking them to vote against this dangerous proposal that will result in rampant persecution of Americans in virtually every area of civil life. It is imperative that members of Congress hear immediately that the American people will not tolerate the creation of powerful special rights for one segment of society, and allow them to use the power of the federal government to persecute anyone who disagrees with them.”

It must be a terrible thing to have an anus where a mouth should be.

National Organization for Marriage Hails Dolce & Gabbana As “Wonderful Advocates For The True Definition of Family”

DGNOM

It seems like Done & Gone aka Dolce and Gabbana have made some friends over that the anti-gay group The National Organization for Marriage.

On todays NOM blog:

While Dolce and Gabbana continue to be attacked as “hypocrites”, what their critics have failed to do is prove them wrong. Every child is born to and deserves to be raised by a committed, married father and mother, and same-sex marriage will always strip away at least one essential piece of the family.

Bravo to Dolce and Gabbana for daring to speak the truth; they are as bold in their speech as they are in their designs, and deserve to be applauded. While others will continue to vent their disagreement, the billionaire pair are wonderful advocates for the true definitions of marriage and family.

I, for one, cannot wait to see Maggie Gallagher  in her fabulous new tent frock.

NOM’s Brian Brown: The Duggars Are Under Attack By The Gays! Send US Your Money!

Brian brown kissed me

As you may have already heard, the Duggar family – stars of the hit TV Show 19 Kids and Counting – have come under attack from bullying activists and radicals simply because of the Duggars’ strong pro-family witness both on and off their show. I ask you to take a moment today to join me in showing your support for the Duggars. We need to send a message to let them know that we, the advocates of traditional marriage and family, appreciate their strong moral voice in the public square. They are an example of how strong marriages and families lie at the foundation of a healthy society. We need more celebrities like them, not fewer! Our country needs a healthier public square where people are heard respectfully, and not merely shouted down by those who disagree. This moment that the Duggars are facing is a test case for what kind of society we want: one where the values of tolerance and respect are truly practiced, or one where only those on the politically-correct side of the conversation get to be heard.” – National Organization for Marriage hate group leader Brian Brownshirt hitching his money beg wagon to the backlash against TLC’s Duggar Klan.

Anything for a buck, eh Brian?
