Kathy Griffin released Harvey Levin’s phone number on Saturday, revealing the private information in a YouTube video. The comedienne said she was doing so in retaliation for how he’s treated her. But she also goes after Andy Cohen, alleging he asked her to do cocaine before “Watch What Happens Live.”
The video begins with Griffin slamming TMZ and its role in kicking off the scandal that plagued her earlier this year when she posed for a photo with a replica of Donald Trump’s bloody head.
“It’s not at all over. It’s still going on. In fact, it’s gotten worse for me,” she says. Griffin then plays a voicemail Levin allegedly just left for him on Friday, asking her to call him. She plays the message in its entirety, purposefully so people can hear the phone number that he asks her to call him back on.
Bloom, who initially represented Griffin at the beginning of the scandal, and the star recently had their own war of words in the media. As the video goes on, Griffin switches topics, bad-mouthing Cohen, who seemingly shaded her in a TMZ video this week, but also goes back to Levin, and suggests he’s in cahoots with Trump and speaking to him multiple times a week. “Is that okay with you guys?” she asks. “The president is talking with a gossip blogger?!” Griffin then returns to the subject of Cohen, alleging he not only treated her badly when he was a Bravo executive overseeing “My Life On The D-List,” but also asked her to do “blow” with him before a “Watch What Happens Live” taping.
“He’s going to say he was kidding. No! He was asking me to do cocaine with him,” Griffin, a self-described “straight-edge” insists. “That made me very uncomfortable… I don’t know why he gets away with that.” She further “calls out” other NBC Universal executives she claims did her wrong, and then brings up TMZ again, calling it a “deeply misogynistic website,” where the “ageism is out of control with this guy Harvey Levin.” Griffin mentions Levin’s sexual orientation, calls his TMZ TV show “[expletive],” and says he’s “no different than a straight-up deplorable.”
“Perhaps the biggest story related to Kathy Griffin’s salacious stunt on CNN’s New Year’s Eve broadcast with Anderson Cooper was the almost deadening silence it engendered from any quarter. Does it matter what Griffin did? To put it more generally, does what we see and hear have any effect on our behavior, particularly the behavior of young people? Does it matter? According to the Centers for Disease Control, even though the risk of transmitting HIV through oral sex is much lower than from other forms of sexual behavior, ‘numerous studies have demonstrated that oral sex can result in the transmission of HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases (STDs).’ In other words, people can get chlamydia, gonorrhea, genital herpes, genital human papillomavirus, syphilis, and other STDs by having oral sex. This is important because numerous studies have shown that many young people still think they cannot get an STD this way.” – The Catholic League’s Bill Donohue, on Griffin’s pretend blowjob on CNN New Years Eve.
Lets go out on a limb here and say that you CANNOT get a STD or AIDS from simulating oral sex
on a gay man while fully clothed on live TV.
The Catholic church has worked so long and hard to prevent any actual sex education or contraception that even a hint of sex throws them into a tizzy.
In my best Kathy impersonation of her mother, “Jesus Christ, Kathleen! Why do have to go & pick on the goddamned Catholics all time for Christ’s sake?”
“The Palin Army probably could never really survive against the Gay Army. Because we don’t need guns. We have sarcasm and we have snark and we have our verbal fucking rapier wit and, dammit, that’s how we conquer.”
BOTH Barney Frank and Scott “Cosmo” Brown are upset over the recent episode of Kathy Griffin, My Life on the D List where she referred to Scott Brown’s daughters as prostitutes and then ran a disclaimer saying she was kidding. The segment features Griffin being shown a photograph of Brown by two CNN reporters, John King and Dana Bash. Griffin identifies Brown in the picture, saying, “Scott Brown, who is a senator from Massachusetts and has two daughters that are prostitutes
WELL. Scott Brown who once dropped trou for Cosmo magazine is pissed. People can call me any name they want, but families are off limits,” he said in the statement made through spokeswoman Gail Gitcho. “I love my daughters Ayla and Arianna very much, and any parent would be proud to have them as children. Kathy Griffin and Bravo ought to be ashamed of themselves.” But Scott isn’t ashamed of himself when he trots them out like trophies on the campaign trail.
Then we have Barney Frank who wrote the letter above. One would think that Barney would have more productive things to do with his time like maybe CONCENTRATE ON LGBT EQUALITY, ENDA, DADT, DOMA. These ring a bell Barney instead of defending Scott Brown’s daughter. (I bet you 10-1 that Cosmo’s centerfold is in Barney’s desk.
Brown needs to remember that One daughter, went on American Idol, made the top twelve and parlayed her losing fame and her father politics into a craeer and now is a broadcaster, the other is a model. And BOTH had no problem publically appearing and openly supporting thier dear dad.
And Barney. Jesus Christ. Barney Frank has blown up on camera when people even questioned his opinion, he is the last person to be talking about hurling insult and prostitutes! Barney should be happy that Kathy didn’t bring up the fact that his boyfriend of past and he were hiding in the closet (literally about being gay, not literally on premises) when the police came stinging the prostitution and drug ring from his boyfriend ran from their DC condo.
So both of you…..
SHUT UP, DO SOME WORK AND STOP WATCHING TELEVISION!
FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO DON’T RUN A COUNTRY AND MAY HAVE MISSED IT…..
