This list should be used as a “Who’s Who of Scumbags” and who should be voted out of the House.
From the Daily Kos:
Paul Ryan voted against the bill. He’s probably still pissed off about that whole election thing. Take that, blue state victims.
Also on the list are plenty of members from states that certainly aren’t immune from national disasters, including wild fires, earthquakes, tornadoes and hurricanes: Alabama, Florida, Arizona, California, Missouri, Louisiana, Texas. All of these states have certainly received federal emergency aid in the past, probably with the support of these members.
Take Rep. Mo Brooks, from Alabama, for example. Back in 2011, he even held town meetings to help tornado victims in his state to help his constituents “to better understand their federal assistance rights […] direct grants that you do not have to repay if you qualify, unemployment compensation, rents as you try to find a new place to live.”
Or maybe Rep. Paul Broun in Georgia, who applauded FEMA in 2009, and touted his office’s work in helping constituents get that federal support. The 2009 disaster? Flooding.
Or Rep. Sam Graves, from Missouri, back in 2011 begging for an emergency declaration from the White House for, you guess it, flooding.
Also in the pack of douchebags we have:
Rep. Tim Huelskamp (R-KS) – I want mine – http://huelskamp.house.gov/… … but Sandy victims get nada.
Rep. Paul Broun (R-GA) touted FEMA assistance outreach during flooding in his district in 2009.
For instance, Rep. Sam Graves (R-MO) demanded immediate disaster assistance for flooding.
More recent Rep. Issa (R-CA) 2007 letter requesting disaster assistance for freeze damage – http://www.costa.house.gov/… and 2002 fire – http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/…
Rep. Sensebrenner (R-WI) – I want my disaster aid too – http://www.highbeam.com/…
If the Democrats don’t use this in the 2014 mid-term when all 435 voting seats in the United States House of Representatives will be up for election there is just no hope for them.
GOFuckYourself GOProud plays victim and the crazed GOP pundits crawl out of the woodwark to bitch, moan and play the faux scandal to the hilt about Dan Savage calling the GOProud Board of Directors a bunch of “GOP house faggots”. Let us not forget that GOProud isn’t exactly innocent themselves by any means.
Last December both Jimmy LaSalvia and Chris Barron became “unhinged” after learning that Rick Perry’s closet case strategist Tony Fabrizio was behind some pretty bad anti-gay ads condemning the repeal of “don’t ask, don’t tell” and calling for more religion in schools.
GOProud co-founder “Miss Frosty Bangs” LaSalvia herself tweeted “I’ve just about had it with faggots who line their pockets with checks from antigay homophobes while throwing the rest of us under the bus.”
Oh the hypocritical irony! Especially since they are upset and up in arms at Dan Savages remarks for them endorsing anti-gay Romney who’s against EVERYTHING pro-LGBT.
Where was Michele Malkin, Brietbart.com and the rest of the rightwing loons then?
Larry Probst an archivist at the Catholic Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph is suing the Diocese for sexual harassment, sex discrimination and retaliation, in Federal Court claiming that he was fired for objecting to pervasive homosexual sexual harassment from priests who lusted over a male co-worker.
Probst who worked as an assistant to the diocese’s archivist claims his bosses, the Rev. Charles Michael Coleman and Fr. Robert Cameron, continually “fawned” over his co-worker Michael St. George, and that the three sexually harassed him. Cameron even said St. George “could ‘cum in my hand,” the complaint states.
Probst claims other “unwanted and unwelcome sexual harassment,” included:
a. Sexually offensive comments from St. George such as ‘I don’t date someone with a hatchet wound,’ referring to a girlfriend of a co-worker.
“b. Sexually offensive comments from St, George about removing pornography from his computer desktop before he could allow a Parish Soft technician access to his computer.
“c. Sexually offensive advances and gestures from St. George such as arching up and grabbing his crotch while riding in a vehicle with plaintiff at the request of Father Coleman.
“d. Sexually offensive comments from Father Coleman, such as about games men play where the loser has to ‘service’ the other men under the table.
Probst complained throughout the series of incidents which began in thee Summer/Fall of 2010 until March 18, 2011, when Probst met with the Chancellor of the Diocese, Bradley Offutt who discouraged him from pressing his complaint and told Probst that he could lose his job because of it.
On June 30, Probst was fired by the Diocese, citing “lack of funding.”
He is seeking back pay, front pay in lieu of reinstatement, and compensatory and punitive damages.
Another feather in the conservative Christianst hypocrisy cap. Bill Johnson from Alabama has been spreading his seed in New Zealand without the knowledge of his wife back in Podunk, USA. According to Realbollywood News:
Bill Johnson, who unsuccessfully ran for the governorship of Alabama in 2009, has spent most of 2011 in Christchurch for work purposes.
He used the persona ”chchbill” on online donor registries to meet women wishing to get pregnant.
Johnson discussed making donations to at least nine women, and three are now pregnant, while he has also assisted a further three with donations in the past month.
He said he was unable to have children with his wife, Kathy, who remains in the US. [Why does his website say he has 3 children?]
While she knew he wanted to be a sperm donor, she was unaware of the pregnancies and he wasn’t planning to tell her until the children were born.
The women he donated sperm to included a number of lesbian couples – despite him campaigning on a conservative Christian platform that opposed gay marriage.
Actual flier that was posted on doors by a local LDS Stake Center, a division of the Mormon church. (Magic underwear optional, of course)
But see, in the eyes of the Catholic Church, NOM, NARTH, Exodous, etc. there’s nothing wrong with this pedophile freakshow. No, not at all. Hypocrisy!
Mike Rogers, the Managing Director and partner of Raw Story Media, fundraiser, blogger and gay rights activist best known outing closeted gay politicians who actively oppose gay rights. Appeared on MSNB’s The Ed Show last night and talked about the GOP reaction to Anthony Weiner’s non-illegal Twitter pics, while ignoring the current illegal sexual activities of Republican officials
It’s now being exposed that Newt Gringrich has funneled more than $125,000.00 to the officially recognized hate group “American Family Association to remove three sitting Supreme Court justices in Iowa over their ruling in favor of marriage equality.
Gingrich’s group, Renewing American Leadership funneled the money to the AFA which has bragged that his group was spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on the effort in Iowa.
Gingrich, the former U.S. House speaker who has aggressively courted the conservatives who dominate Iowa’s lead-off presidential caucuses, raised the money for the political arm of Restoring American Leadership, also known as ReAL.
That group then passed $125,000 to American Family Association Action and an additional $25,000 to the Iowa Christian Alliance — two of the groups that spent millions before last November’s elections that removed three of the state’s seven state Supreme Court justices. The court had unanimously decided a state law restricting marriage to a man and a woman violated Iowa’s constitution
Newt who wants to be President married one woman whom he abandoned when she was riddled with cancer on her hospital bed while you fuck the shit out of your mistress whom you later marry and cheat on her with a third woman.
Back in the early/mid 90’s, when Gingrich wanted to “bring back shame”.
Look at him, he proves that it never left.
