Here we have Ben Quayle. Son of Dan and Marilyn and also Tea Bagging \Senate wannabe idiot who is running for the Arizona Senate using subliminal images of automatic weapons in his campaign ad.
Ben who’s 34 and far too old to play the “my generation will Inherit the debt” card is also helped found and write raunchy website called TheDirty.com dedicated to pictures of scantily dressed women and nasty comments about them under the Boogie Nights pen name of “Brock Landers” (Which of course he denies)
It’s really too nad he’s stark raving fucking mad. He is kinda cute
You can watch Mr. “Potatoe” Head Jr’sFull Senate Commercial after the jump.
If the wingnuts were upset about a harmless gay-themed French commercial for McDonalds just wait until he sees this insane spot for Orangina where a humanoid mountain lion shaves and then embraces his gay lover!
A mountain lion made to look like a man is shaving his face, but instead of shaving cream, he uses Orangina, the sticky sweet carbonated beverage that is the European equivalent of Sunkist. That’s strange enough, but what sends this over the edge is that his hunky boyfriend comes over and feels how smooth his shave is at the last second.
Actually this is part of series of commercials that company made that has talking animals doing crazy things with the product, like a giraffe lady mopping the floor or a chameleon man putting it on his zits. The company that made the campaign told gay French blog Yagg that the spot isn’t going to air which, as nutso as it is, makes us a little sad. If we can get the world to embrace queer mountain lions who shave with soda, gay marriage should be a snap!
In an interview with the Chicago Tribune, Don Thompson, McDonald’s COO, explains that McDonalds will not air a gay audience targeted ad like the one that aired in France despite the fact that the foreign spot has resulted in “no negatives”
Cultures are very different around the world. (For instance), I’ve never shied away from the fact that I’m a Christian. I have my own personal beliefs and I don’t impose those on anybody else. I’ve been in countries where the majority of the people in the country don’t believe in a deity or they may be atheist. Or the majority of the country is Muslim. Or it may be the majority is much younger skewed. So when you look at all these differences, it’s not that I’m to be the judge or the jury relative to right or wrong. Having said that, at McDonald’s, there are core values we stand for and the world is getting much closer. So we have a lot of conversations. We’re going to make some mistakes at times. (We talk) about things that may have an implication in one part of the world and may be the cultural norm in another part of the world. And those are things that, yes, we’re going to learn from. But, you’re right, that commercial won’t show in the United States. Interestingly enough, there have been no negatives coming out of France. The brand is a local brand and different things will occur in different parts of the world. We just have to make sure that we understand the impact one action may make on another part of the world.
Yet another reason to avoid McDonalds here in USA. Homophobia, Christer Anti-Gay Theology, and french fries that will never be as good as they used to be.
Oh, and by the way Don. Your Iced Coffee McSUCKS!
