KENTUCKY: Homework Assignment at Christian Academy of Louisville: Persuade your friend to stop being GAY.

KENTUCKY: Homework Assignment at Christian Academy of Louisville: Persuade your friend to stop being GAY.

A homework assignment given to some middle-schoolers (7th. grade = 11/12 yo) at Christian Academy of Louisville, Kentucky has been exposed showing how it encourages students to persuade an “imaginary friend” to reject being gay. *cough*-GROOMING-*cough*

Via: The Courier Journal:

Screenshots show the assignment required students to write a letter to a hypothetical friend “struggling with homosexuality” and persuade them “God’s design for them is good,” “homosexuality will not bring them satisfaction” and “you love them even though you don’t approve of their lifestyle.” – Assume that you have known this friend since kindergarten, that you go to the same church and that you have been pretty good friends over the years until now,” the screenshot of the assignment read. “… The aim of your letter should be to lovingly and compassionately speak truth to the person you’re talking to in a way that does not approve of any sin. Instead, TRY TO PERSUADE THEM OF THE GOODNESS OF GOD’S DESIGN for them.”

Christian Academy of Louisville School System Superintendent Darin Long in a statement said the assignment had been given to students in a middle school Bible elective class.

The homework was “part of a unit of study which discusses ‘What are humans and where is their identity?'” Long wrote, and “in context, was how a person could discuss homosexuality with a friend from a biblical perspective with compassion and love.”

And Jesus wept. Again.

Homophobic Couple Kicked Off Plane. Claims It’s Because They Love Trump [VIDEOS]

Boing Boing reported on a viral TikTok video that shows a couple shouting homophobic slurs being forced to deboard a flight in West Palm Beach, Florida (of course).

“The woman cries ‘free speech is dead!’, gloats on the knowledge that her refusal to voluntarily deplane will result in the flight being delayed, then returns to muttering racist nonsense before delivering some impromptu praise for Elon Musk, ‘the f**king king,'” reported Rob Beschizza. “The disquisition on free speech continues as she declares her intention to sue the other passengers for their grumbled criticisms. ‘Hey, I guarantee I make more money than you buddy! We’re going to get [kicked] off the plane because we’re Trump supporters. Seriously, I really think that’s what it is!”

Yea. I’m sure the 10 Bloody Mary’s, low IQ, and obnoxious sense of entitlement had nothing to do with it.

Homophobic Russian MP Launches “I’m Not Gay” Reality Show

Via The UK Metro:

Homophobic Russian MP Vitaly Milonov is presenting a reality show where contestants have to guess which person is gay in order to win a cash prize. I’m Not Gay is a series that sees eight men move into a country house together. At the end of each episode, they vote to eliminate a contestant they suspect of being gay. If they correctly guess, then they share two million rubles (£21,000), but if the homosexual man dodges detection he wins the prize. In the first episode, which has been shared on YouTube, Milonov tells the contestants: “I hope that you will quickly figure out the gay.”

In 2013, Milonov declared that gay men “deserve to be punched and kicked” after a gay man was blinded in a hate crime assault. That came days after he led a police raid on a gay Halloween party.

In 2014, he attempt to ban Eurovision from being shown in Russia due to that year’s win by “pervert” Conchita Wurst. and in 2017, he attempted to ban Disney’s live-action version of Beauty And The Beast as “gay propaganda.”

So we’re the first “tributes” for the Russian Hunger Games.

Coming soon to Fox I am sure.

Oklahoma GOP Introduces “Don’t Say Gay” Bill

Oklahoma GOP Introduces “Don’t Say Gay” Bill

Via Oklahoma City’s NBC News:

Sen. Nathan Dahm, R-Broken Arrow, has filed two floor bills to mirror Florida’s “Don’t Say Gay” law and to prevent minors from receiving gender dysphoria treatment. House Bill 1074 is modeled after Florida’s Parental Rights in Education Act, commonly referred to as the “Don’t Say Gay” law. The legislation would prohibit educators or other school personnel from teaching about sexual orientation or gender identity for grades kindergarten through fifth.

If it passes the legislative branch then there is no doubt that Oklahoma’s christofascist Governor will sign it into law.

At least 20 states have introduced “Don’t Say Gay” laws this year, which have made waves around the country. But in a handful of states, versions of the legislation have existed for decades. According to the Movement Advancement Project (MAP), which tracks LGBTQ+ policy throughout the country, 19 percent of the country lives in a state with an LGBTQ+ curriculum ban. Most are in states with laws that predate Florida’s and Alabama’s. Still, most Americans are largely unaware of the fact that Florida is not the first state to pass such a law, advocates said.

But why are our LGBT rights organizations not fighting back? Has the curtain finally been drawn to show exactly how useless they have been and are?

Do not depend on HRC, GLAAD, or The Task Force. Their folly has been exposed.

We are all going to have to fight in this if we don’t want to lose what precious ground we have earned. Are you ready?

Man Threatens to Bomb Merriam-Webster's Offices Over Gender Definitions

Man Threatens to Bomb Merriam-Webster’s Offices Over Gender Definitions

A California man who was upset by Merriam-Webster’s inclusive gender definitions threatened to bomb the publisher’s offices and sent “threatening and despicable” messages targeting the LGBT community.

Via USA Today:

Jeremy David Hanson, 34, was arrested Tuesday and charged with one count of interstate communication of threats to commit violence i  in October, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts announced Friday. Prosecutors say Hanson used the “Contact Us” page on Merriam-Webster’s website to send threatening messages and comments “demonstrating bias against specific gender identities.” Under the handle @anonYmous, he also made threats in the comment sections of webpages for the word entries “Girl” and “Woman.”

Hanson was released on conditions after an initial federal court appearance, prosecutors said. He is set to return to court on April 29. His charge carries a sentence of up to five years in prison, three years of supervised release and a fine of $250,000.

MARVEL'S Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ Banned in Saudi Arabia Due to Gay Content

MARVEL’S Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ Banned in Saudi Arabia Due to Gay Content

Well lesbian content. But lets not quibble.

Via IndieWire:

The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Sam Raimi’s sequel “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” will not be released in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, or Qatar due to a new character being gay. Homosexuality is officially illegal across the Gulf, and films that feature LGBTQ+ themes or characters are often censored.. The “Doctor Strange 2” character in question is America Chavez (Xochitl Gomez), who is a lesbian in the film and the Marvel comics.

Marvel’s “Eternals” was previously banned across the Gulf nations in November 2021 after showcasing Marvel’s first gay superhero and including a same-sex couple. Disney’s “West Side Story” was dropped from release in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, and Kuwait in January over the character Anybodys, written as transgender in the film and played by nonbinary actor Iris Menas.

And Marvel/Disney is not alone. Warner Bros.’ “Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore.” recently underwent editing for it’s distribution in China. The scene included two lines of dialogue between Dumbledore (Jude Law) and Grindelwald (Mads Mikkelsen) confirming their past relationship and citing when they “fell in love” years prior. But expect calls from the Middle East in the near future for the same.

Members of a Ukrainian refugee family appeared in a South Florida courtroom on Wednesday. That’s where they are facing hate crime and attempted murder charges for an alleged family ambush against a gay man. Police say Oleh Makarenko was in a nine-month homosexual relationship, which would end with his lover being beaten so badly by Makarenko’s family that the victim became blind. Authorities allege that Oleh Makarenko, who is also known as Alex, was being forced to marry a woman by his mother. On Aug. 6, three members of the Makarenko family barged into the victims home, according to police. A police report stated that, “All four of the suspects continued holding him and began punching, kicking, and hitting him all over his face and body.”

While in the war between Russia and the Ukraine we are all hoping that the Ukraine wins. But the Ukraine, like Russia is a very dangerous place to be LGBT.

Since the fall of the Soviet Union and Ukraine’s independence in 1991, the Ukrainian LGBT community has gradually become more visible and more organized politically. But it is still a place of extreme prejudice thanks to  the Eastern Orthodox Church, which has a significant influence on the perception by society of members of the LGBT community.

Ft. Lauderdale Man Victim of Hate Crime. "Are you gay?"

Ft. Lauderdale Man Victim of Hate Crime. “Are you gay?”

Fort Lauderdale resident James Garcia said that he was taking his dog for a walk around 8 a.m. on Sunday morning when a man approached him. “He came up to me and asked me, ‘Are you gay?’ and then punched me.” And the stranger continued to punch him.

The results of his injures led him to get multiple stitches, seven on the forehead and three above the lip and fractured the cartilages on both sides of his nose.

After being treated at a local hospital Garcia was able to id his attacker after looking at pictures provided by Fort Lauderdale Police.

On Tuesday officers arrested thirty-six-year-old Maurice Antwan Charles of Fort Lauderdale, a man with a lengthy criminal history at a local hotel close to the victim’s home.

“This is a crime of hate. Whether he was targeting me, someone else he suspected as part of the LGBTQ community,” said Garcia  “Yes, definitely a crime of hate.”

Florida has become a problematic state for members of the LGBT community and use extreme caution when alone or in the company of strangers.

What To Watch This Weekend on Amazon Prime:  DEEP WATER: THE REAL STORY

DEEP WATER: THE REAL STORY presents the full account of the gay hate crime epidemic that bloodied Sydney’s coastline.

Eighty murders, thirty unsolved cases, thousands of assaults. In the 80s and 90s, a murderous, violent epidemic grips Sydney. The attackers are united by contempt and their targets; by their sexual identities. This is the story of how a wave of vicious crime engulfed a community but was invisible to most: a tale of police ineptitude, bungled investigations and a society riddled by homophobia. It stirs up old cases in the hope that new evidence will rise to the surface and bring peace and justice to the loved ones left behind.

Highly recommended.

Ohio GOP Introduces HB 616, It's Version of Florida's "Don't Say Gay" Law

Ohio GOP Introduces HB 616, It’s Version of Florida’s “Don’t Say Gay” Law

HB 616, an Ohio bill introduced Monday afternoon duplicates Florida’s Don’t Say Gay law and states that no public school, community school or private school that accepts vouchers shall “teach, use, or provide any curriculum or instructional materials on sexual orientation or gender identity” in kindergarten through third grade. Older students could discuss these issues, but “any curriculum or instructional materials on sexual orientation or gender identity” would have to be “age-appropriate or developmentally appropriate for students in accordance with state standards.”

Republican reps. Jean Schmidt, R-Loveland, and Mike Loychik, R-Cortland, sponsored HB 616 and introduced it to the Ohio senate.

Currently NO school in the United States uses any curriculum or instructional materials on sexual orientation or gender identity

The legislation would also ban other divisive concepts like the 1619 Project, critical race theory, intersectional theory, inherited racial guilt, diversity, equity, and inclusion learning outcomes and “any other concept that the state board of education defines as divisive or inherently racist.”

Democratic Rep. Brigid Kelly called that “a huge problem.”

“We’re not giving people access to the tools, the materials, the lessons they need to prepare children for the diverse world that exists,” Kelly said.

The two largest lobbying groups for Ohio’s educators, the Ohio Education Association and the Ohio Federation of Teachers, oppose the legislation.
