Kansas city police say the death of a gay bar owner in a house explosion is being investigated as a homicide.

The Jackson County Medical Examiner ruled the death of Melvin “Lee” Mecker a homicide on July 8. No suspects are in custody. Mecker died when his house exploded and burned down on April 10.

Police have not said how Mecker was killed, or whether he died before or during the blaze. Sgt. Jacob Becchina, a police spokesman, declined to comment further on the case.

Kansas City Fire Department Deputy Chief Jimmy Walker said in April that power and gas had been shut off to the house, but there were generators and possibly gasoline present on the property.

Mecker’s business, Buddies bar, closed after his death. He had been manager and owner of the bar for about two decades.

2 Gay Murders in 3 Days – 2 Detroit Men Charged in Carjacking, Murder of Gay Man

In the second case of homicide against a gay man in three day, 28-year-old Anthony Brock and 30-year-old Darnell Wilson have been charged with first-degree murder and other crimes in the killing of Diano Johnson.

On June 19, Brock arranged to meet Diano Johnson after the two men met on Facebook. Prosecutors say it is alleged that Brock locked Johnson in the trunk of the victim’s car and drove to pick up Wilson. The next morning, Brock allegedly set Johnson’s car on fire, burning his legs in the process, prosecutors say.

Detroit Police officers discovered Johnson’s body on June 21. An investigation by the Detroit Police Department resulted in the arrest of Brock on June 25, 2019 and Wilson on July 12, 2019.

Brock and Wilson were charged with one count each of first degree murder, felony murder, armed robbery, carjacking, unlawful imprisonment, felon in possession of a firearm, and six counts of use of a firearm.

In both cases the murders were planned and executed using social media.

It is a Black issue because violence against gay and transgender individuals is disproportionately affecting our Black youth. NY’s Craigslist Killer Found GUILTY Of The Murder Of Gay CBS Newsman George Weber

John Katehis, dubbed “The Craigslist Killer” by the New York press (pictured left)  has been found guilty for the murder of CBS newsman George Weber in his second trial.

Katehis stabbed Miller more than 50 times after Miller allegedly hired him as an “escort” to play out an S&M sex scene off Criagslist  oin 2009.  In the first trial, the jury declared itself deadlocked after defense attorneys painted Weber as a homosexual predator because Katehis was only 16 at the time of the crime even though Katehis claimed he was older to Miller.

I can’t can’t even begin to imagine the mind of a person who can stab another human 50 times.

19 Year Old Gay Man Beaten To Death In Michele Bachmann’s Hometown Of Waterloo, Iowa

Tragic news today as 19-year-old college student Marcellus Andrews  was beaten death to in Michele Bachmann’s hometown of Waterloo, Iowa this weekend by a group of unknown assailants began with anti-gay slurs, the WCF Courier reports:

Officers and paramedics said they found Andrews unconscious with severe head injuries in the early morning hours Friday. Andrews, who was slated to start studying interior design at Hawkeye Community College, spent part of Thursday practicing with members of the Crusaders, a drill team sponsored by Union Missionary Baptist Church. He led the step team for the group, which was days away from competing in March Against Darkness. Night found him at Nakita Wright’s home on Cottage Street. She said the problems started at about 12:45 a.m. Friday when she and Tudia Simpson, her cousin, went for a walk down the street. Andrews opted to stay behind, waiting on the enclosed porch, she said. The two women hadn’t made it as far as Adams Street a block away when they heard yelling back at the house. They ran back and found a truck stopped in the street, and the occupants were taunting Andrews, calling him “faggot” and “Mercedes,” a feminization of his first name, Simpson said.

This is another tragic  in  example of the open minds and hearts of the bible belt. and the hate that hides behind so called christian values.

This is what happens when the hate speech of Bachmann, Perry and Santorum, public figures representing the United States stand on platforms and tell the world that a segment of the population are less and not worthy than the rest.
