BUSTED: Security Exchange Commission Charges The Mormon Church of Hiding Billions of Dollars

BUSTED: Securities and Exchange Commission Charges The Mormon Church of Hiding Billions of Dollars

The SEC has charged the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and its Investment Management Company for failing to disclose $32 BILLION in assets & creating thirteen shell companies to hide those assets.

The Church along with Ensign Peak Advisors had come under scrutiny for failing to disclose the full extent of their financial holdings. It was revealed that Ensign Peak Advisors had accumulated a staggering $100 billion in assets, a fact that was not disclosed to the Church’s members or the public.

Via SEC website:
The Securities and Exchange Commission today announced charges against Ensign Peak Advisers Inc., a non-profit entity operated by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to manage the Church’s investments, for failing to file forms that would have disclosed the Church’s equity investments, and for instead filing forms for shell companies that obscured the Church’s portfolio and misstated Ensign Peak’s control over the Church’s investment decisions. The SEC also announced charges against the Church for causing these violations. To settle the charges, Ensign Peak agreed to pay a $4 million penalty and the Church agreed to pay a $1 million penalty. “We allege that the LDS Church’s investment manager, with the Church’s knowledge, went to great lengths to avoid disclosing the Church’s investments, depriving the Commission and the investing public of accurate market information,” said Gurbir S. Grewal, Director of the SEC’s Division of Enforcement.

A $5 million fine for hiding 32 BILLION.

That’s not even sofa cushion money to the anti-LGBT Mormon Church

LGBT Hate Groups Received Millions of Dollars in COVID-19 PPP Small Business Loans

LGBT Hate Groups Received Millions of Dollars in COVID-19 PPP Small Business Loans

It has been exposed that LGBT hate groups, anti-immigration groups and anti-Muslim groups have received MILLIONS of dollars in government-aid backed Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) , intended for small businesses with 10 or fewer employees that have been harmed by the ongoing COVID-19 epidemic.

Via The New Civil Rights Movement:

The groups include the anti-Muslim organization The Center for Security Policy; the two anti-immigrant groups, the Center for Immigration Studies and the Federation for American Immigration Reform; and three rabidly anti-LGBTQ groups, the American Family Association (AFA), Liberty Counsel and the Pacific Justice Institute (PJI).

The  Liberty Counsel received somewhere between $350,000 and $1 million from the PPP program while listing they had no jobs to retain . It is unclear what Liberty Counsel was planning to do with its hundreds of thousands in government loans but I am sure we can all guess.

The largest loan went to the anti-LGBT hate group the American Family Association, which was allotted between $1 million and $2 million to support 124 jobs.

In its 2017 tax filing, which is the latest available, the AFA reported revenues exceeding $18.4 million, net assets of about $30 million.

In 2010 AFA’s most notorious wingnut Bryan Fischer blamed gay men for being Nazis and causing the holocaust.

“Homosexuality gave us Adolph Hitler, and homosexuals in the military gave us the Brown Shirts, the Nazi war machine and six million dead Jews.” — Bryan Fischer, AFA director of issue analysis for government and public policy, 2010.

Other AFA statements on homosexuality include:

“This [policy] means a man can simply say he ‘feels like a woman today’ and enter the women’s restroom … even if young girls and women are already in there. Target’s policy is exactly how sexual predators get access to their victims. And with Target publicly boasting that men can enter women’s bathrooms, where do you think predators are going to go?”
— Tim Wildmon, April 2016.

“Homosexuality is a poor and dangerous choice, and has been proven to lead to a litany of health hazards to not only the individuals but also society as a whole.” — AFA Action Alert, July 20, 2012.

“The homosexual movement is a progressive outgrowth of the sexual revolution of the past 40 years and will lead to the normalization of even more deviant behavior.” —Don Wildmon, AFA website.

“Homosexuals are rarely monogamous and have as many as 300 to 1,000 sexual partners over the course of a lifetime. … [T]he risk of sexual abuse in a homosexual household is much greater than in a heterosexual household.” – Bryan Fischer Web post, “The Truth about Gay Marriage and Civil Unions,” 2006

Today In Anti-LGBT Propaganda – Liberty Counsel: Stop State Sanctioned Homosexuality

From Liberty Counsel hate group leader and grifter Mat Staver:

Over 80 State and local governments have passed laws which effectively force people into an LGBT lifestyle. Liberty Counsel is representing some of the victims of these morally shocking and deeply unconstitutional laws, and I will personally be arguing one of our cases before a federal Court of Appeals on February 11.

Imagine that someone has come to you desperately pleading for help that you know you can provide. And imagine that you had undergone years of schooling and training, developing the skills and tools necessary to help that person and that you’re professionally licensed in this very field. You’re licensed to provide help, but God has called you to this work. But the law forbids you from helping because government bureaucrats, blinded by the LGBT agenda, want that person to drown in their misery.

We are making final preparations for this vital case and it is your support today that makes it possible for us to defend the rights of professional counselors and their clients facing the situation I just described. Your partnership is what empowers us to stand beside our clients against an agenda that is attempting to dictate what counselors can say to their desperate clients in the privacy of a counseling room!

If we can force men into the gay lifestyle who do I take my dream-homo list to?

LET US PREY - Christian Crimes Against The Innocent This Week.

Let Us PREY – 22 Evangelical Christian Scandals That Rocked The World

Let us revisit some of the worst  “Evangelical Christian” scandals of our time which according to the right-wing’s own their own logic would prove that every “Christian” is an adulterous, drug crazed, satanic felon, and murderer.

Hallelujah!

Aimee Semple McPherson, 1920s–40s

One of the most famous evangelist scandals involved Canadian-born Aimee Semple McPherson in the 1920s, who allegedly had an extramarital relationship and faked her own death as a cover. She later claimed that she had been kidnapped, but a grand jury could neither prove that a kidnapping occurred, nor that she had faked it. Roberta Semple Salter, her daughter from her first marriage, became estranged from Semple McPherson and successfully sued her mother’s attorney for slander during the 1930s. As a result of this she was cut out of her mother’s will. Aimee Semple McPherson died in 1944 from an “accidental” overdose of barbiturates.

Billy James Hargis, Early 1970s

Hargis was a prolific author and radio evangelist. Hargis formed American Christian College in 1971 in order to teach fundamentalist Christian principles. However, a sex scandal erupted at the College, involving claims that Hargis had had sex with male and female students. Hargis was forced out of American Christian College’s presidency as a result. Further scandals erupted when members of Hargis’ youth choir, the “All American Kids”, accused Hargis of sexual misconduct as well. The college eventually closed down in the mid-1970s. Hargis denied the allegations publicly.

Marjoe Gortner, Early 1970s

Gortner rose to fame in the late 1940s as a child preacher, but he had simply been trained to do this by his parents and he had no personal faith. He was able to perform “miracles” and received large amounts of money in donations. After suffering a crisis of conscience, he invited a film crew to accompany him on a final preaching tour. The resulting film, Marjoe, mixes footage of revival meetings with Gortner’s explanations of how evangelists manipulate their audiences. It won the 1972 Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature, but was never screened in the Southern United States due to fears that it would cause outrage in the Bible Belt.

Jim & Tammy Bakker And Jimmy Swaggart, 1986 And 1991

Swaggart’s confession where he declared to his congregation on television, “I have sinned against you, my Lord”, became an iconic image of the 1980s.

In 1986, evangelist Jimmy Swaggart began on-screen attacks against fellow televangelists Marvin Gorman and Jim Bakker. He uncovered Gorman’s affair with a member of Gorman’s congregation, and also helped expose Bakker’s infidelity (which was arranged by a colleague while on an out-of-state trip). These exposures received widespread media coverage. Gorman retaliated in kind by hiring a private investigator to uncover Swaggart’s own adulterous indiscretions with a prostitute. Swaggart was subsequently forced to step down from his pulpit for a year and made a tearful televised apology in February 1988 to his congregation, saying “I have sinned against you, my Lord, and I would ask that your precious blood would wash and cleanse every stain until it is in the seas of God’s forgiveness.”

Swaggart was caught again by California police three years later in 1991 with another prostitute, Rosemary Garcia, who was riding with him in his car when he was stopped for driving on the wrong side of the road. When asked why she was with Swaggart, she replied, “He asked me for sex. I mean, that’s why he stopped me. That’s what I do. I’m a prostitute.”

Peter Popoff, 1987

A self-proclaimed prophet and faith healer in the 1980s, Popoff’s ministry went bankrupt in 1987 after magician and skeptic James Randi and Steve Shaw debunked his methods by showing that instead of receiving information about audience members from supernatural sources, he received it through an in-ear receiver.

Morris Cerullo, 1990s

A number of incidents involving California-based televangelist Morris Cerullo caused outrage in the United Kingdom during the 1990s. Cerullo’s claims of faith healing were the focus of particular concern. At a London crusade in 1992, he pronounced a child cancer sufferer to be healed, yet the girl died two months later. Multiple complaints were upheld against satellite television channels transmitting Cerullo’s claims of faith-healing, and a panel of doctors concluded that Cerullo’s claims of miraculous healing powers could not be substantiated. Cerullo also produced fund-raising material, which was condemned as unethical by a number of religious leaders, as it implied that giving money to his organization would result in family members becoming Christians.

Mike Warnke, 1991

Warnke was a popular Christian evangelist and comedian during the 1970s and 1980s. He claimed in his autobiography, The Satan Seller (1973), that he had once been deeply involved in a Satanic cult and was a Satanic priest before converting to Christianity. In 1991, Cornerstone magazine launched an investigation into Warnke’s life and testimony. It investigated Warnke’s life, from interviews with over one hundred personal friends and acquaintances, to his ministry’s tax receipts. Its investigation turned up damaging evidence of fraud and deceit. The investigation also revealed the unflattering circumstances surrounding Warnke’s multiple marriages, affairs, and divorces. Most critically, however, the investigation showed how Warnke could not possibly have done the many things he claimed to have done throughout his nine-month tenure as a Satanist, much less become a drug-addicted dealer or become a Satanic high priest.

Robert Tilton, 1991

Tilton is an American televangelist who achieved notoriety in the 1980s and early 1990s through his paid television program Success-N-Life. At its peak, it aired in all 235 American TV markets. In 1991, Diane Sawyer and ABC News conducted an investigation of Tilton. The investigation, broadcast on ABC’s Primetime Live on November 21, 1991, found that Tilton’s ministry threw away prayer requests without reading them, keeping only the money or valuables sent to them by viewers, garnering his ministry an estimated $80 million USD a year. In the original investigation, one of Tilton’s former prayer hotline operators claimed that the ministry cared little for desperate followers who called for prayer, saying that Tilton had a computer installed in July 1989 to make sure that the phone operators were off the line in seven minutes. Tilton sued ABC for libel in 1992, but the case was dismissed in 1993, and Tilton’s show was off the air by October 30, 1993.

W. V. Grant,  2003

Like Peter Popoff, Grant was investigated by James Randi regarding his faith healing claims. He was then imprisoned for tax evasion in 1996. After restarting his ministry upon release, a TV investigation found that claims of healing he made at a 2003 revival in Atlanta were false.

Paul Crouch, 2004

Paul Crouch is the founder and president of the Trinity Broadcasting Network, or TBN, the world’s largest evangelical Christian television network, as well as the former host of TBN’s flagship variety show, Praise the Lord. In September 2004, the Los Angeles Times published a series of articles raising questions about the fundraising practices and financial transparency of TBN, as well as the allegations of a former ministry employee, Enoch Lonnie Ford, that he had a homosexual affair with Crouch during the 1990s. The Times spoke with several sources that claimed that other evangelists such as Benny Hinn, Jack Hayford, and Paul’s son Matthew were aware that an affair had taken place. TBN denied the allegations, claiming that Ford’s claims were part of an extortion scheme and that the Times was a “left-wing and anti-Christian newspaper” for publishing the articles. In 2005, Ford submitted to and passed a lie detector test on the ION Television program Lie Detector.

Douglas Goodman, 2004

Douglas Goodman, an evangelical preacher, and his wife Erica were pastors of Victory Christian Centre in London, England. The church was one of the largest in the United Kingdom. He came into notoriety when he was jailed for three and a half years for the sexual assault of four members of his congregation in 2004. VCC was closed by the Charity Commission, but his wife Erica started a new church, Victory to Victory, in Wembley. Douglas has upon his release resumed full pastoral ministry alongside his wife

Kent Hovind, 2006

Kent Hovind is an American Baptist minister and Young Earth creationist. He is most famous for creation science seminars, in which he argues for Young Earth creationism, using his self-formulated “Hovind Theory.” He has been criticized by both the mainstream scientific community and other creationists. In 2006, Hovind who also has a reputation as a tax protestor had been charged with falsely declaring bankruptcy, making threats against federal officials, filing false complaints, failing to get necessary building permits, and various tax-related charges. He was convicted of 58 federal tax offenses and related charges, for which he is currently serving a ten-year sentence.[16]

Ted Haggard, 2006

Ted Haggard was the pastor of the New Life Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado and was the president of the National Association of Evangelicals (NAE) from 2003 until November 2006. Haggard’s position allowed him occasional access to President George W. Bush. In 2006 it was alleged that Haggard had been regularly visiting a male prostitute who also provided him with methamphetamine. Haggard admitted his wrongdoing and resigned as pastor of New Life church and as president of the NAE. The high-profile case was significant also because it immediately preceded the 2006 mid-term elections and may have even affected national voting patterns[citation needed]. In January 2009, Haggard admitted to a second homosexual relationship with a male church member on CNN-TV and other national media, and when asked, would not directly answer a question about his other possible homosexual relationships.

Gilbert Deya, 2006

Kenyan-born Deya moved to the United Kingdom in the 1990s and started a number of churches. He claims to have supernatural powers that allow him to make infertile women become pregnant and give birth. However, police investigations in the UK and Kenya concluded that Deya and his wife were stealing Kenyan babies. Deya was arrested in London during December 2006 and as of April 2010 he is currently fighting extradition to Kenya.[20]

Richard Roberts, 2007

In October 2007, televangelist Richard Roberts (son of the late televangelist Oral Roberts), was president of Oral Roberts University until his forced resignation on November 23, 2007. Roberts was named as a defendant in a lawsuit alleging improper use of university funds for political and personal purposes and improper use of university resources.[21]

Earl Paulk, 2007

Earl Paulk (no relation to John Paulk) was the founder and head pastor of Chapel Hill Harvester Church in Decatur, Georgia from 1960 until the 1990s. A number of women from the congregation came forward during the 1990s claiming that Paulk had sexual relations with them. Some of these claims have subsequently been proven correct. Moreover, Donnie Earl Paulk, the current senior pastor of the church and nephew of Earl Paulk, had a court-ordered DNA test in 2007 which showed that he was Earl’s son, not his nephew, which means that Earl and his sister-in-law had had a sexual relationship which led to Donnie’s birth.

Coy Privette, 2007

Privette is a Baptist pastor, conservative activist, and politician in the U.S. state of North Carolina. Privette was president of the Christian Action League and a prominent figure in North Carolina moral battles. In 2007, Privette resigned as president of North Carolina’s Christian Action League and from the Board of Directors of the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina, following revelations on July 19 that he had been charged with six counts of aiding and abetting prostitution.

Michael Reid, 2008

Bishop Michael Reid (born 1944) is a Christian evangelist in Essex, England and founder of Michael Reid Ministries who resigned from the role of pastor at Peniel Church in April 2008, after admitting to an eight-year extra-marital sexual relationship. The scandal was widely reported online and in UK newspapers. He has since re-developed an itinerant evangelistic ministry and has been speaking at a number of churches in the UK and overseas.

Joe Barron, 2008

Joe Barron, one of the 40 ministers at Prestonwood Baptist Church, one of the largest churches in the United States with 26,000 members, was arrested on May 15, 2008 for solicitation of a minor after driving from the Dallas area to Bryan, Texas, in order to allegedly engage in sexual relations with what he thought to be a 13 year-old girl he had met online. The “girl” turned out to be an undercover law enforcement official.

Todd Bentley, 2008

Canadian Todd Bentley rose to prominence as the evangelist at the Lakeland Revival in Florida, which began in April 2008. Bentley claimed that tens of thousands of people were healed at the revival, but a June 2008 investigation by ABC Nightline could not find a single confirmed case. Bentley took a short break after the program was broadcast, but returned to leading the meetings. However, in August 2008, he stepped down permanently when it was revealed he was separating from his wife, Shonnah, and was in a relationship with Jessa Hasbrook, a member of his staff.

Tony Alamo, 2008

On September 20, 2008, FBI agents raided Tony Alamo Christian Ministries headquarters as part of a child pornography investigation. This investigation involved allegations of physical abuse, sexual abuse and allegations of polygamy and underage marriage. According to Terry Purvis, mayor of Fouke, Arkansas, his office has received complaints from former ministry members about allegations of child abuse, sexual abuse and polygamy since the ministry established itself in the area, and in turn, Purvis turned over information about the allegations to the FBI.  Investigators at the scene plan to conduct a search of ministry headquarters and the home of Alamo and interview children present on the compound. In late July 2009, Alamo (who had a previous conviction for tax evasion in the 1990s) was convicted on ten counts of transporting minors across state lines for sexual purposes, sexual assault and other crimes. On November 13, 2009, he was sentenced to the maximum punishment of 175 years in prison.

American Family Association Hate Group Starts Selling "Christian" Soap

American Family Association Hate Group Starts Selling “Christian” Soap

Via American Family Association president Tim Wildmon:

What if I told you that you could clean your family’s laundry and help reach the next generation at the same time? That opportunity is here – through a company called Redeem Clean. The company was founded by Lynn Ingram and Jim Duncan specifically to help American Family Association. I first met Lynn and his wife on our Spiritual Heritage Tour of Washington, D.C., last September. Lynn pulled me aside during the tour and told me how he listened faithfully to our American Family Radio station in Abilene, Texas, and that he and his wife were long-time financial supporters of AFA.

He told me how much he believed in what we are doing and shared our passion to see Christianity impact America. Then Lynn told me he believed God had put an idea in his heart that could help AFA/AFR financially for years to come. Needless to say – I was all ears! They had started a company named Redeem Clean and created a laundry detergent; if AFA wanted to offer it to supporters, the majority of profits above and beyond the costs of making the detergent would go to further the mission of AFA.

We have decided to take advantage of their generous offer! More specifically, we agreed that the proceeds from this product will go directly to influence the next generation with the gospel of Jesus Christ through Engage – a division of AFA created to reach Millennials (roughly ages 20-35). Alarmingly, trends reveal that this age group is slowly wandering from the basic truths of God’s word. It is time that we go on the offensive!

The three product package sells for $30.

For those of you who don’t know…..

Initially founded as the National Federation for Decency, the American Family Association (AFA) originally focused on what it considered indecent television programming and pornography. The AFA says it promotes “traditional moral values” in media. A large part of that work involves “combating the homosexual agenda” through various means, including publicizing companies that have pro-gay policies and organizing boycotts against them.

In Its Own Words

“Homosexuality is a poor and dangerous choice, and has been proven to lead to a litany of health hazards to not only the individuals but also society as a whole.”
–AFA Action Alert, July 20, 2012

“[Islam] is, in fact, a religion of war, violence, intolerance, and physical persecution of non-Muslims.”
–Tim Wildmon, March 6, 2012

“The homosexual movement is a progressive outgrowth of the sexual revolution of the past 40 years and will lead to the normalization of even more deviant behavior.”
– Don Wildmon, AFA website, 1999 (still posted as of 2011).

“Homosexuality gave us Adolph Hitler, and homosexuals in the military gave us the Brown Shirts, the Nazi war machine and six million dead Jews.”
– Bryan Fischer, AFA director of issue analysis for government and public policy, 2010

“If President Obama, Congressional Democrats, and homosexual activists get their wish, your son or daughter may be forced to share military showers and barracks with active and open homosexuals who may very well view them with sexual interest.”
– AFA press release, February 2010

“Homosexuality is not only harmful to homosexuals themselves, but also to children and to society.”
– Stephen Bennett, AFA writer, 2004

“As with smoking, homosexual behavior’s ‘second hand’ effects threaten public health….Thus, individuals who choose to engage in homosexual behavior threaten not only their own lives, but the lives of the general population.”
– Gary Glenn, president of Michigan chapter of AFA, 2001

“[T]he homosexual lifestyle is characterized by anonymous sexual encounters and celebration of sexual obsession and perversion unparalleled in any other social group.”
– Richard Howe, “Homosexuality in America,” AFA publication, 1994

In 2012, Tom Wildmon had notorious anti-gay pastor Patrick Wooden, along with the FRC’s Tony Perkins, on the AFA’s “Today’s Issues” segment of their American Family Radio (AFR). Both Perkins and Wildmon expressed admiration for Wooden, who is perhaps best known for claiming that gay men have to wear diapers or “butt plugs” because they lose control of their bowels. He has also called homosexuality “deviant,” “immoral,” and “anti-human.”

HRC Launches Campaign "Exposing" Mike Pence’s Anti-LGBT Record Because They Have To Show They Are Doing SOMETHING

HRC Launches Campaign “Exposing” Mike Pence’s Anti-LGBT Record Because They Have To Show They Are Doing SOMETHING

The Human Rights Campaign, that gala throwing, money sucking LGBT “advocacy” group that has done jack-shit over the past few year to advance the civil rights of LGBT people. Today launched ‘The Real Mike Pence’, a  multi-pronged campaign exposing the vice president’s anti-LGBT history and views that we all are already aware of to prove they are actually doing something and still relevant so they can beg for more money.

The “campaign” highlights Pemce’s support of  “gay conversion therapy” (We all know that already); his  pursuit of a ‘religious freedom’ license to discriminate against LGBT people (We all know that already); and his attempts to block hate crime legislation and funding for HIV and AIDS prevention. (And yes. We all know that already.)

Said HRC President Chad Griffin: “Mike Pence has made a career out of attacking the rights and equal dignity of LGBT people, women and other marginalized communities. Now as vice president, he poses one of the greatest threats to equality in the history of our movement.”

In reality there are many who think that the grossly overpaid Griffin ($450.000.,00 a year + benefits) and the HRC which has won not attempted to or won any real battle for the pursuit of LGBT civil rights in over the past decade is also one of the greatest threats to equality in the history of our movement because the do nothing while making believe that they do.

Watch their video. Because this is how they justify the millions of dollars of your donation money a year while doing nothing of any worth to the LGBT movement.

Please consider donating to Lambda Legal or grassroots LGBT organizations. The ones who do the REAL work of fighting for our rights.

Anti-LGBT Hate Group Focus on the Family Declares Itself A Church With IRS To Evade Taxes and Disclosures

Via  Right Wing Watch:

Focus on the Family, the behemoth Religious Right organization founded by James Dobson, has declared itself to be a church, thereby avoiding a requirement that it file public tax documents, according to IRS records and a document available on the organization’s website.

Focus on the Family filed as a non-church 501(c)(3) nonprofit as recently as the 2014 fiscal year, submitting to the IRS a publicly available Form 990 as most tax-exempt nonprofits are required to do. But when the group posted a Form 990 for the 2015 fiscal year on its website—dated October 26, 2017, and reporting a massive budget of $89 million—it was emblazoned with the message “Not required to file and not filed with the IRS. Not for public inspection.”

Gail Harmon, an attorney who has advised nonprofits on tax law for more than 30 years, said that she had never before seen a nonprofit organization declare itself a church. “I just found it shocking,” she said. “There’s nothing about them that meets the traditional definition of what a church is,” she said. “They don’t have a congregation, they don’t have the rites of various parts of a person’s life. There’s a whole system for what a church is.”

There is clear biblical precedent for this. It’s just like the story about how Jesus helped the money changers reincorporate into pass-through entitles in order to avoid double taxation from the Romans, while maintaining their right to engage in nakedly partisan advocacy and anti-LGBT hate.

Ex-Liberty Counsel Shill Matt “Bam Bam” Barber Creates NEW Anti-LGBT Hate Group: The Christian Civil Rights Watch

Failed boxer, failed insurance agent, and failed hate monger Matt Barber, 1, 2, 3, the anti-LGBTQ activist who very quietly left the Liberty Counsel and created the far-right, conspiracy-theory-promoting media platform BarbWire has joined forces with batshit crazy Religious Right activist and former state legislator Gordon Klingenschmitt  to create a brand spanking new anti-LGBT hate group called the Christian Civil Rights Watch and are describing  it as a “principled and aggressive Christian legal/public policy organization.”

Via CanadaFreePress:

Christian Civil Rights Watch is a group of Christian legal watchmen who educate, communicate and, where necessary, litigate. CCRW will proactively fight to restore justice for faithful Bible believers’ Constitutionally protected civil rights. The organization aims to fulfill the mandate of God’s word to leave a legacy of religious free exercise for current and future generations of Christ followers.

“It’s time to go on the offense! It’s time to fight for true civil rights. The battle lines are drawn. Restoring Christian civil rights is the civil rights struggle of our time. Cultural Marxists, church-state separatists, ‘progressive’ anti-Christian religious segregationists and ‘LGBT’ sexual anarchists now openly attack our liberty. Who watches them?” asked Barber.

CCRW has a page devoted to what it calls “Anti-Christian Extremist Groups,” which includes Right Wing Watch, the Southern Poverty Law Center and just about every organization in the LGBTQ equality movement—even Log Cabin Republicans.—along with Amnesty International, the United Nations, the American Federation of Teachers, and the American Psychological Association.

The site hosted on GoDaddy.com is registered under Gordon Klingenschmitt’s  Persuade The World Ministries, which of course is a 501c.

Right Wing Media Attacks Gay Politician Who Questioned AFA Hate Groups Standing As A Charity – FIGHT BACK!

Right Wing Media and "Christians" Attack Gay Politician Who Questioned AFA Hate Groups Standing As A Charity

The American Family Association and the right wing media are after the head of openly gay Connecticut comptroller Kevin Lembo who in a November 30th letter to AFA president Tim Wildmon, questioned the AFA’s “so-called attempts to protect family values.” Those include holding to a biblical stance on marriage and several boycotts of companies like Target that champion civil rights

In his letter to Wildmon, Lembo states:

The AFA’s statements and mission not only appear to discriminate against the LGBTQ communities … but it remains unclear what actual charitable services the AFA provides that qualifies it to participate in the CSEC. I am, therefore, initiating an investigation to determine whether AFA is in compliance with the requirements of the CSEC.

Lembo is planning to take action to try to remove the American Family Association from the Connecticut State Employees’ Campaign for Charitable Giving (CSEC), even though the Mississippi-based group qualifies as a “charity” under Connecticut’s rules and its status through the IRS as a 501c

The AFA is indeed a officially categorized as a hate group by the Southern Law Poverty Center.

Writes Bryan Fischer of the AFA:

So the constitution of Connecticut itself has identified Mr. Lembo as a man who is apparently determined to infringe on the “exercise and enjoyment of religious profession” of state employees by discriminating against them and their freedom to direct their voluntary charitable donations to a religious organization that stands for religious liberty and the natural family.

While accusing AFA of discrimination, Mr. Lembo is practicing it, exhibiting it, and displaying it. He is the one guilty of discrimination, and is a part of the reprehensible attempt on the part of secular fundamentalists to purge all traces of Christianity from the public square.

Besides citing the utterly discredited SPLC (whose “hate map” led shooter Floyd Corkins straight to the offices of the Family Research Council), the main offense he cites in his letter is our boycott of Target. Target has made it company policy to allow men who may be sexual predators or video voyeurs to wander unchallenged into female dressing rooms, where they may film or molest our wives, our daughters, and our granddaughters. In Lembo’s utterly twisted view of the world, the bigots are those who want to protect the sexual integrity of females.

Mr. Lembo is an open and proud homosexual, and his case illustrates the risk to religious liberty when individuals who engage in a sexually non-normative lifestyle assume political power.

The AFA is calling on Mr. Lembo to retract the accusatory letter he has published and to issue an apology to AFA for his religious prejudice and bigotry. He trumpets the fact that he has received awards for openness and transparency in government. It’s time for him to show us that such awards were deserved. Perhaps a remedial course in Connecticut history might prompt him to use the political power of his office to protect religious liberty rather than squash it.

Right now Mr. Lembo is in moral limbo, and is using his office to repress liberty rather than protect it. It’s time for him to come out of the darkness of bigotry and oppression and into the light of religious liberty. Perhaps he’ll begin that journey today

The AFA is pulling out all the stops to intimidate Kevin Lembo by initiating a phone and email campaign against him and using extreme right wing media news sites including Town Hall, OneNewsVow and also Fox News to push it.

Fox News’ Todd Stames writes:

The other day I received word that Connecticut’s openly gay comptroller is targeting American Family Association, one of the nation’s most prominent and respected Christian ministries.

And to be perfectly blunt, these types of attacks by far-left bureaucrats are why Donald Trump won the presidency.

“This issue … really brings into focus why a lot of people supported Donald Trump as opposed to Hillary Clinton,” Hamilton told OneNewsNow. ”People feared the federal government – more specifically the IRS or the Department of Justice – being used as means of cultural and societal intimidation.”

But actually the REAL issue here that needs to be promoted is the fact that hate groups such as the American Family Association, Focus on the Family and the Family Research Council set themselves up behind a fake “religious charities”, receive 501c tax exempt status, and then get away reaping charitable windfalls while preaching intolerance and hate not only in the United States but around the globe.

Unfortunately the  Connecticut’s State Employees’ Campaign for Charitable Giving is not the only charity driven government worker fund that these hate groups scam and get money from.  The Federal Government’s own Combined Federal Campaign giving program of the federal government of the United States also gives federal worker donated money to both the American Family Association and the Family Research Council because they are listed as official charities in their program.

In 2011, CFC pledges totaled $272.7 million with 24% of the federal workforce participating and an average employee pledge of $284.27.

So in other words the Federal Government which has a strict inclusion and non-discrimination policy gives money donated by its workers to so called “charity” groups who then use that money to preach intolerance and hate.

If the AFA is going to have the nerve to play persecuted martyrs while they defrauding hard working Americans then we must once and for all exposed these hate groups’ charity scams and have their 501c status revoked for once and for all.

We must join Kevin Lembo in this fight.

First we can contact the Internal Revenue Service en masse and report the American Family Association, Family Research Council, and  Focus on the Family for Tax Exempt Abuses.

Secondly we must contact OPM’s Combined Federal Campaign and DEMAND that these groups be removed from their charity rolls and receive no more funding from the pockets of federal workers.

Kim Davis, Kentucky Anti–Gay Marriage Clerk Loses Re-Election Bid

GUILTY! – Kentucky Clerk Kim Davis and Anti-Gay Liberty Counsel Found In Violation of the Open Records Act

Kim Davis and Matt Staver

Kim Davis, and the “religious” anti-LGBT legal group the Liberty Counsel have been found in violation of the Open Records Act, according to Kentucky state’s attorney general office.

The opinion found that Davis, the Rowan County clerk, and her counsel improperly refused to turn over public records requested in March by the nonprofit Campaign for Accountability, reported the Courier-Journal.

The Liberty Counsel rejected the records requests as improper for a variety of reasons, such as attorney-client privilege and legal exceptions from preliminary documents.

The nonprofit legal activist group also refused to turn over those documents to the attorney general’s office for review.

“An agency cannot benefit from intentionally frustrating the attorney general’s review of an open records request,” said Assistant Attorney General Matt Jones. “Such result would subvert the General Assembly’s intent behind providing review by the attorney general.”

Mat Staver, the founder and chairman of the of the anti-LGBT Liberty Counsel, said he never had a problem providing the contents of the documents, but he wanted to make sure no information was revealed that was protected by attorney-client privilege.

Staver has said that he didn’t expect to file an appeal and said he would turn over the contested documents.

Anne Weismann, executive director of the Campaign for Accountability, praised the attorney general’s findings and said her group had requested the records to learn more about the elected clerk’s relationship with the anti-LGBT activist group.

“I think the Attorney General was right to call them on completely flouting the law,” Weisman said.

Davis and Liberty Counsel could be required under the Open Records Act to pay attorney fees for the Campaign for Accountability, as well as up to $25 a day for each day for the four months that they denied access to the documents.
