Whiner Round-up: After Gay Marriage Ban in OK Ruled Unconstitutional The Hateful Crying Begins

Crying baby

Now that U.S. District Judge Terence Kern has ruled that Oklahoma’s ban on marriage equality is unconstitutional.  And even though the ruling has been stayed pending appeal, meaning marriages will not occur immediately in the Sooner State. Thats not stopping the usual hateful suspects from whining and gnashing their conservative, so-called “christian” teeth over it.

Tony Perkins – Family Research Council Hate Group President and noted white supremicist:

“This activist judge is overrunning both the constitution and the rule of law in a drive to fundamentally alter America’s moral, political and cultural landscape. He is substituting his own ideology for the three quarters of Oklahomans who voted to preserve marriage in their constitution as it has always been defined. As the American people are given time to experience the actual consequences of redefining marriage, we are seeing the public debate and opposition to the redefinition of natural marriage intensify. In recent months, we have witnessed serious consequences of redefining marriage. For example, a Colorado baker is risking jail if he refuses to obey a court order to bake a cake for same-sex ‘weddings’ in contradiction to his Christian faith. [B2S – That is a LIE!]  We have also seen same-sex marriage cited in a decision striking down Utah’s law against polygamy. [B2S – That is a LIE!] These consequences continue to draw more Americans’ attention to the serious threat to free speech and religious liberty posed by the redefinition of marriage. Rather than live-and-let-live, this court by redefining marriage will force people to violate the basic teachings of their faith, or lose their jobs.”

Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin (BFF  of Michele Bachmann):

“In 2004, the people of Oklahoma voted to amend the state’s constitution to define marriage as ‘the union of one man and one woman.’ That amendment passed with 75 percent support. The people of Oklahoma have spoken on this issue. I support the right of Oklahoma’s voters to govern themselves on this and other policy matters. I am disappointed in the judge’s ruling and troubled that the will of the people has once again been ignored by the federal government.”

And last and certainly least is America’s own anti-gay Tokyo Rose…….

Pat Robertson Responds: I Only Said That Because Gays Were Trying To Infect Me With AIDS

Pat Roberstosn Liar

“I was asked by a viewer whether she had a right to leave her church because she had been asked to transport an elderly man who had AIDS and about whose condition she had not been informed. My advice was that the risk of contagion in those circumstances was quite low and that she should continue to attend the church and not worry about the incident.

In my own experience, our organization sponsored a meeting years ago in San Francisco where trained security officers warned me about shaking hands because, in those days, certain AIDS-infected activists were deliberately trying to infect people like me by virtue of rings which would cut fingers and transfer blood.

I regret that my remarks had been misunderstood, but this often happens because people do not listen to the context of remarks which are being said. In no wise (sic) were my remarks meant as an indictment of the homosexual community or, for that fact, to those infected with this dreadful disease.” – Pat Robertson, in a statement emailed by his head publicist for the 700 Club.

There is absolutely no way that Robertson’s original comment could have been misinterpreted.

By Robertson using the excuse that he wasn’t spreading a vicious, disgusting lie about people currently infected with AIDS but was spreading a vicious, disgusting lie about people who were infected with AIDS years ago again is disgusting and proves that he’s well aware that it is indeed a hateful piece of anti-gay propaganda land has no problem using it until caught.

OMFG! – Pat Robertson: Gay Men Use Special Rings To Cut People And Give Them AIDS – Video

Pat Robertson evil

In what has to be the worst and most horrible lie that has come out of Pat Robertson’s mouth in his history of anti-gay hate, today on the 700 Club Robertson claimed that gay men n cities like San Francisco and New York attempt to spread HIV/AIDS to others by cutting them with a special ring when shaking hands.

ENOUGH!

Call CBN at (757) 226-7000.and DEMAND that they not only retract but force a Pat Robertson to apologize on air for his  outrageous lies.

And where the hell is GLAAD?

UPDATE: Robertson responds.

NOM BUSTED: NOM Thanks The Chicago Bears For Their Support, Chicago Bears Deny Call NOM Liars

Jennifer Roback Morse

The National Organization for Marriage and its umbrella organization The Ruth Institute has been busted once again one of their lies yet after they claimed that the NFL football team the Chicago Bears support their anti-gay mission and have donated them items of memorabilia.

From the Chicago Tribune:

The Chicago Bears and former linebacker Brian Urlacher denied any involvement Wednesday with the Ruth Institute — an affiliate of the National Organization For Marriage, which opposes same-sex marriage — after an online promotion for the institute stated a clear involvement of the team. In an advertisement for its June gala at an upcoming conference, the California-based group stated, “For now, you should know that we have two fabulous raffle items from the Chicago Bears Organization (and a huge THANK YOU to the Bears for supporting our message).” Below the statement are images of an autographed Urlacher jersey and an autographed black-and-white photo of deceased Hall of Fame running back Walter Payton. “I sign a lot of stuff for charity and I don’t always know where it goes,” Urlacher told the Tribune. “If I would have known it was for this cause, I wouldn’t have done it.”

The Bears home office has released an official statement setting the record straight:

“The two items featured in The Ruth Institute gala invitation were personal donations to (President) Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse (pictured above). Neither was a club donation, nor do they represent the team’s view on any social issues. Any remarks stating otherwise are false.”

Morse initially declined comment. But later the website dropped all references to the Chicago Bears at the team’s request, and Morse issued a statement: “The Ruth Institute is not working with the Chicago Bears organization or any of its players past or present to promote our upcoming auction. The memorabilia we are auctioning off was acquired by me personally, not through the team or players. We understand that the Chicago Bears organization takes no position on social issues, and we regret any confusion we may have caused on this point.”

Curses, foiled again Witchie Poo!

But then again NOM you have to lie.  I mean a signed Adam Corolla or Victoria Jackson item doesn’t really carry much clout now, does it.
