Moore police have recommended three prostitution-related charges against State Sen. Ralph Shortey. The charges include: soliciting prostitution of a minor, prostitution within 1,000 feet of a church and transporting for the purpose of prostitution. Police say the investigation started after a man was found in a motel room with an underage boy. Employees at the Motel 8 in Moore say a person by the name of Ralph Allen Shortey checked in shortly after midnight March 9, and police arrived about 30 minutes later.
Pam Pollard with the Oklahoma Republican Party released the following statement: “The Oklahoma Republican Party takes all accusations against elected officials seriously, especially when the welfare of a minor is involved. We have reached out to Senator Shortey for comment and have not heard back from him at this time. We await the report from law enforcement on whether charges will be filed.” The Senate has filed a resolution to impose punishment on Shortey for disorderly behavior. It passed with a 42-0 vote.
Shortey was the Oklahoma state campaign chair for Trump during the primaries and was himself endorsed by Sheriff Joe Arpaio.
Married his high school sweetheart…✓ Mission work in Uganda….✓ Went into the oil and gas industry….✓ Then into politics….✓ Found with teenage boy in hotel room….✓✓✓✓✓
Louisiana Republican Mike Yenni is “the President of Jefferson Parish and happily married with one daughter.” Allegedly he’s also a major closet case who has been sending some sex- texts to a teen boy he met at a Catholic high school function while on the campaign trail last year.
40-year-old Yenni and the teen, who was 17 at the time and whose name has not been released, were allegedly connected with each other by a mutual friend. The teen says he and Yenni, the former mayor of Kenner at the time, the city neighboring New Orleans, would talk on the phone and text one another regularly.
As Yenni and the teen’s relationship deepened, he says the politician would occasionally visit him at his job at a mall food court. Once, he says, they met in the mall bathroom where the teen says Yenni gave him a pair of designer underwear. Afterwards, they shared a kiss.
The texting continued, becoming more and more explicit as time progressed. In one of the texts, Yenni allegedly told the teen that he “wants him naked.” In another, he asked if he’s worn the underwear he gave him, then says he would like him to model it for him. And in a third, he said he wanted to perform a sex act on the teen that night.
The texts were provided to WWL-TV by the teen on the condition that they not be directly quoted. The station did verify that that the texts did indeed come from Yenni’s personal cell phone,.
The youth, who is openly gay and is now in college, said in an interview with WWL-TV that he wants to expose Yenni’s behavior because he finds it disturbing.
The boy says the texts started to make him uneasy, particularly one that suggested they have a threesome with the mutual friend who initially connected them.
“He asked me to go with him to his house in Oxford (Mississippi). Also, the way he would describe the sexual things he wanted to do to me. And he asked me to be a secretary or assistant in his office; that way I could be with him and not be questioned.”
The age of consent in Louisiana is 17, so any sexual activity between Yenni and teen would not be illegal; however, the sexts may violate a federal law that bars the use of any telecommunications device to engage in “obscene” conversation with anyone under the age of 18.
Charles Johnson over at Little Green Footballs caught the infamously crazy American Family Association hate group spokesthing Bryan Fischer tweeting out a link to white supremacists group New Century.yesterday which then Fischer deleted and then denied having sent it.
Founded by Jared Taylor in 1990, the New Century Foundation is a self-styled think tank that promotes pseudo-scientific studies and research that purport to show the inferiority of blacks to whites — although in hifalutin language that avoids open racial slurs and attempts to portray itself as serious scholarship. It is best known for its American Renaissancemagazine and website, which regularly feature proponents of eugenics and blatant anti-black racists. The foundation also sponsors American Renaissance conferences every other year where racist “intellectuals” rub shoulders with Klansmen, neo-Nazis and other white supremacists.
One of the most anti-gay members of Congress Rep. Tim Huelskamp (R-KS) has a lot on his plate what with hating gays, hanging out with Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council and being “family values” and all. But now Huelskamp has something else to worry about as one of his staffers has been busted on 17 counts of sexual exploitation of a child.
A staffer for a Kansas congressman is in jail charged with 17 counts of sexual exploitation of a child. Matthew P. Pennell was arrested on Thursday. Pennell was arrested following an investigation by the Dodge City Police Department and members of the Internet Crimes Against Children task force. The case has been filed with the Ford County Attorney’s office. His bond is set at $75,000. Congressman Tim Huelskamp Office issued this response to the allegations: “Upon learning of his arrest, the Office immediately placed Mr. Pennell on Leave Without Pay until further notice. Because this is an ongoing investigation, we are unable to provide further comment at this time.” – Mark Kelly, Chief of Staff, Office of Congressman Tim Huelskamp.
Huelskamp has been recognized as one of the top 5 most anti-gay politicians in Washington, D.C.
Wisconsin Assembly Majority Leader Bill Kramer, a Republican, a top lawmaker, and a member of the so-called “family values” party was charged on Friday with sexually assaulting a female political aide three years ago following a Republican mixer.
Kramer is charged with two counts of second-degree felony sexual assault and is facing $200,000 in fines and 80 years in prison if convicted.
According to the complaint, the woman told police that Kramer shoved her against her car outside the mixer, tried to kiss her and groped her breasts. He also assaulted her in her car, telling her he wanted to have sex with her, kissing her and groping her.
According to Kramer he states that the woman applied for a job in his office, and that he had been friends with her. Kramer also states that she made the pass at him in 2008. ( because I mean look at him he’s such a stud , right? ) He acknowledged kissing her good night but denied groping her, telling the detective the woman “has very nice doctor-enhanced breasts. I am not a big fan of those. I like the real ones.”
The charges are the latest to add to the 49-year-old Waukesha Republican “family values” politician reputation as a sexual predator
Republicans stripped him of his leadership position earlier this month amid allegations he sexually harassed a lobbyist and a Wisconsin legislative staffer while he was in Washington, D.C., for a February fundraiser. The woman identified only as D.R., told investigators the incident was a “nightmare,” but didn’t report it to authorities because she didn’t want to embarrass herself, her family or the Republican Party, according to a police report. When the Washington allegations surfaced, however, she changed her mind, the report said.
During the event, Kramer became drunk, stumbling around and being “more obnoxious than usual,” the woman said.
He asked her for a ride, and when they walked to her car, he shoved her into the side of the vehicle so hard her head snapped back, the complaint said. He then leaned into her and began kissing her and groping her. She told him to stop and pushed him away, but he came at her a second time. She pushed him away again and he told her they should get going, the complaint said.
Once they got into the car, he locked the doors and told the woman he wanted to have sex with her, the complaint said. He started kissing her and groping her again despite her pleas for him to stop. The woman told police she was afraid he was going to rape her.
At one point, the woman was able to send a text message asking friends to return to the parking lot, according to the complaint. A female friend who appeared found the woman crying and Kramer standing by his car.

Another example of GOP traditional family values ala’ The Manson family.
The anti-gay hate group The Family Research Council along with James Dobson’s homo hating, pro-family group Focus On The Family have issued a joint congressional scorecard which rates members of the House and Senate on ten “values vote” issues including abortion, school vouchers, Obamacare, and surprise surprise same sex marriage.
Out of the 5 Senators who scored a perfect 100% only Marco Rubio and the always sleazy looking Rand Paul are well known. But 102 members of the House received a 100% score including Rep. Christopher Lee (R), who resigned in disgrace after being exposed for soliciting adulterous hook-ups on Craigslist.
A memo “leaked” from Jan van Lohuizen, the Republican pollster and founder of Voter Consumer Research (who’s name couldn’t sound anymore like a Nazi’-ish if he tried) urges “Republican operatives” to quickly embrace LGBT rights because of the changing attitude of the majority of Americans to stop further the alienation of the GOP party.
Background: In view of this week’s news on the same sex marriage issue, here is a summary of recent survey findings on same sex marriage:
1. Support for same sex marriage has been growing and in the last few years support has grown at an accelerated rate with no sign of slowing down. A review of public polling shows that up to 2009 support for gay marriage increased at a rate of 1% a year. Starting in 2010 the change in the level of support accelerated to 5% a year. The most recent public polling shows supporters of gay marriage outnumber opponents by a margin of roughly 10% (for instance: NBC / WSJ poll in February / March: support 49%, oppose 40%).
2. The increase in support is taking place among all partisan groups. While more Democrats support gay marriage than Republicans, support levels among Republicans are increasing over time. The same is true of age: younger people support same sex marriage more often than older people, but the trends show that all age groups are rethinking their position.
3. Polling conducted among Republicans show that majorities of Republicans and Republican leaning voters support extending basic legal protections to gays and lesbians. These include majority Republican support for:
Protecting gays and lesbians against being fired for reasons of sexual orientation
Protections against bullying and harassment
Repeal of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell.
Right to visit partners in hospitals
Protecting partners against loss of home in case of severe medical emergencies or death
Legal protection in some form for gay couples whether it be same sex marriage or domestic partnership (only 29% of Republicans oppose legal recognition in any form).
Recommendation: A statement reflecting recent developments on this issue along the following lines:
“People who believe in equality under the law as a fundamental principle, as I do, will agree that this principle extends to gay and lesbian couples; gay and lesbian couples should not face discrimination and their relationship should be protected under the law. People who disagree on the fundamental nature of marriage can agree, at the same time, that gays and lesbians should receive essential rights and protections such as hospital visitation, adoption rights, and health and death benefits.
Other thoughts / Q&A:
Follow up to questions about affirmative action: “This is not about giving anyone extra protections or privileges, this is about making sure that everyone – regardless of sexual orientation – is provided the same protections against discrimination that you and I enjoy.”
Why public attitudes might be changing: “As more people have become aware of friends and family members who are gay, attitudes have begun to shift at an accelerated pace. This is not about a generational shift in attitudes, this is about people changing their thinking as they recognize their friends and family members who are gay or lesbian.”
Conservative fundamentals: “As people who promote personal responsibility, family values, commitment and stability, and emphasize freedom and limited government we have to recognize that freedom means freedom for everyone. This includes the freedom to decide how you live and to enter into relationships of your choosing, the freedom to live without excessive interference of the regulatory force of government.
Of course this isn’t about “true” support. It’s more of a “do this so we can get more Republicans in office” sort of LGBT support
But it’s the last paragraph that is going to make Tony Perkins, Matt Barber, and Brian Brown’s “gay hating borg brian” explode as it advises Republican candidates to emphasize the CONSERVATIVE

nature of gay marriage, to say how it encourages personal responsibility, commitment, stability and family values.
Jan van Lohuizen was George W. Bush’s pollster for his 2004 re-election, in which the GOP replied heavily on using same sex marriage and LGBT equality as a wedge against the Democratic party which for the most part supports same sex marriage
Radically anti-gay, anti-abortion, and “Family Values” GOP Ohio State Rep. Robert Mecklenborg, the who was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol with Viagra in his system and a stripper in his car, resigned his position over the weekend.
Good old Family Values Mecklenborg has been endorsed in the past by Cincinnati’s Citizens for Community Values, The Family Research Council and The Eagle Forum in past elections. mecklenborg also recieved an “A” from the NRA, a 100% from OhioBusinessVotes.org, and is a staunch supporter of the Ohio Chamber of Commerce, also earning him a 100%.
Mecklenborg gets an “A” in hypocrisy and an “F-” in morality and ethics
