The silver lining of the coronavirus pandemic is that parents were forced to spend more time at home with their children and saw firsthand the radical indoctrination being pushed on them.
Despite Leftist mockery, the pushback against critical race theory, explicit LGBT curriculum, social justice activism, and other offensive material is coming from parents across the political spectrum.
In fact, some of the most vocal parents are those in Left-leaning suburbs of Washington, D.C., Palm Beach County in Florida, Westchester County in New York, Maricopa County in Arizona, and suburbs of Detroit. They also recognized the benefit to their child, when they could tailor the education to their child’s needs and interests, away from the negative peer pressure, wasted time, indoctrination, and other disadvantages of the public-school model.
America will recover from the pandemic, but many families who are determined to educate their children at home will never send them back
“Explicit LGBT Curriculum” = Teaching children that gay people exist and deserve the same rights and freedoms as everyone else.
Via email blast from hate group leader Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council:
Blowing up the filibuster wouldn’t just end debate and bipartisanship, it would open an express lane to the Left’s most evil policies: the Equality Act, H.R. 1, permanent and unlimited abortion, gun control, open borders, amnesty, Medicare for All, D.C. statehood, and every other horrible idea on Joe Biden’s wish list.
This is a critical moment in our nation’s history. Everything that’s happening in Georgia, in woke corporate America, in the cancel culture, and the far-Left all traces back to this one Democratic goal: destroying a 100-year Senate tradition that paves the way to permanent power.
We cannot wait until the next election to fight this. We need to be praying now. Join Tony Perkins, Senator Young, and Pastor Jim Garlow as we bring our nation before the Lord and ask Him to intervene and protect us from the Left’s wicked schemes.
Let them pray all they like. Sometimes the answer is “no” but we have to work to make it “no” and for HR 1 and the Equality Act to pass.
The Bible’s Teaching on Homosexuality – Romans 1:18-32 – The apostle Paul explains that humanity has rejected God, exchanging the truth about Him and the things He created for a lie. While describing the sinful “exchanges” men and women have made, Paul uses the term para physin, which means “unnatural” or “against nature.”
Homosexuality is unnatural because it is a departure from God’s design for sexuality. According to the passage, homosexuality is also a consequence of humanity suppressing God’s truth and refusing to honor Him. Other verses, including 1 Corinthians 6:9 and 1 Timothy 1:10, reinforce this teaching.
Father, we know that we are a nation on the “precipice of judgment.” The very discussion of these things, and efforts to force men to deny their conscience, shows how very far we have come. Is this not what the communists are doing?
Lord, please stand up for your people. Despite the split within the Senate, Lord, intervene! Prevent this bill from passage and turn the tide.
May our prayers turn the battle with the principalities and powers at the gates. With you is an army of intercessors and at least 10 righteous men and women in the land. It is time for you to act, Lord, your law is being broken. Take pity upon your people!
The full scripture reads: “Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.”
It’s funny though how they never quote the “stone the adulterers” and “thieves in the temple” passages
On Monday, the Supreme Court issued its ruling on three combined LGBT employment discrimination cases. The ruling redefines and reinterprets the term “sex” in the 1964 Civil Rights Act to mean not only biological gender — male or female — as intended by Congress in 1964, but also “sexual orientation” and “gender identity.”
Shockingly, Chief Justice Roberts (a George W. Bush appointee) and Associate Justice Neil Gorsuch (a Donald Trump appointee) abandoned any semblance of judicial restraint and constitutional integrity and sided with the liberal wing of the Court to rewrite the simple meaning of the English language, rewrite history, rewrite the Constitution, and posture the legal foundation of the United States in audacious defiance against the Word of God and the God of the Bible.
Father, nothing but your heavenly intervention and aid can turn back the darkness we face, but you have called us for such a time as this. May each and all of us who call you Lord humble ourselves before you and consecrate ourselves afresh to you and to do your will. Help us to hear your voice as never before and to act on you word. Intervene, Lord, open the eyes of your people. We must arise as one person to prayer and action. Lead and guide us to win back our nation to you! (Ex 23:6-8; Lev 19:15; Dt 1:16-17; Ps 19:7; Pr 31:8-9; Mt 19:4-5, 28:18-20; Eph 1:20-22; 1 Tim 1:8-11, 6:11-16; 2 Tim 3:16)
Please note that Perkins’ uses the homophobic Bible chapter of Leviticus. Which he probably uses so his demented followers will think of Leviticus 18:22 “You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination.” and the infamous Leviticus 20:13 which reads: “If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them.” This is done purposely.
A vote by the Republican National Committee to leave the party’s 2016 party platform unchanged ahead of the November election has infuriated grass-roots activists — including moderates who wanted to streamline its message and social conservatives who sought added language on emerging hot-button topics.
The decision by the party’s executive panel Wednesday means the GOP will maintain positions in the four-year-old policy blueprint — including opposition to same-sex marriage and a nod to gay conversion therapy — and decline to stake out new positions on topics such as police reform, gender identity and third-trimester abortions.
Party officials and senior Trump campaign aides had previously discussed ways to pare down the 58-page document to a single note card or abbreviated list of principles, but the effort broke down after several conservative groups registered complaints with the White House.
Alex Cox of Sludge.com has exposed that Facebook has taken in nearly $1.6 million from hate groups since mid-2018 despite company’s supposed policy of banning hate speech.
Sludge’s review of Facebook ad data found that at least 38 hate groups and hate figures, or their political campaigns, paid Facebook nearly $1.6 million to run 4,921 sponsored ads. Some ads call undocumented immigration an “invasion.” Others claim that LGBT people are “evil.”
Close to $960,000 of Facebook ad revenue came from anti-immigrant groups, and $542,000 was spent by anti-LGBTQ groups. Anti-Muslim groups spent close to $70,000 on ads, although plenty of anti-immigrant groups are also anti-Muslim.
“This is an astounding amount of money that’s been allowed to be spent by hate groups,” Keegan Hankes, research director of the Southern Poverty Law Center Intelligence Project. “It reaches a lot of people with some very toxic ideologies. Obviously that’s incredibly worrisome, if not a little unsurprising given Facebook’s track record specifically around these ideologies.”
Via propaganda email from Family Research Council hate group leader Tony Perkins:
Thursday’s hearing in the House Ways and Means Committee wasn’t the first time liberals have tried to use the IRS to do their dirty work — but it might be the most revealing. At a Thursday event that was either unnoticed by the press (or intentionally sidestepped by it), Democrats spent almost three hours bloviating on “How the Tax Code Subsidizes Hate.” Their solution? Strip mainstream Christian organizations — and anyone else guilty of the Left’s version of “hate” — of their tax-exempt status.
“Our tax code,” chairman Richard Neal (D-Mass.) insisted, “is no place for hate. Groups that propagate white supremacy, anti-Semitism, and hatred for the LGBTQ community, among others, do not deserve a government subsidy through tax exemption. Hate is not charitable…”
This is exactly what conservatives warned about after Obergefell. Before the Supreme Court forced same-sex marriage on the country, President Obama’s solicitor general admitted that faith-based organizations would be the single most vulnerable group in America.
Now, Democrats want to weaponize the IRS against Christian nonprofits and others with whom they disagree. But don’t think for a second that they’ll stop with a list of 60. If they succeed in making the Bible “hate speech,” they’ll march on to America’s churches — and then to anyone with politically incorrect views.
As the Equality Act (H.R. 5) just passed in the U.S. House of Representatives, I remind you, that this is an all-out assault on parental rights, on the family, and on the millions of people of faith in this country. The legislation goes far beyond just quarantining faith behind the four walls of a house of worship.
This act quarantines faith within your mind and says that’s where it must stay. It creates a world that punishes those who exercise their freedom to believe and live according to those beliefs. No institution or person of faith, be it a school, church, synagogue, mosque, business, or non-profit will escape its Orwellian reach.
The Religious Freedom Restoration Act will be committed to the “memory hole.” We will then experience a catastrophic loss of religious freedom in America, and, as a result, every American, those who believe and do not believe, will suffer the consequences. The American people must continue to speak with great force and clarity in opposition to the “In-equality” Act.
The U.S. House passed 236-173 HR 5, misnamed the “Equality Act,” with eight Republicans voting in favor and no Democrats voting against it. The eight Republicans are: Susan Brooks (IN-05); Brian Fitzpatrick (PA-01); Elise Stefanik (NY-21); Greg Walden (OR-02); John Katko (NY-24); Mario Diaz-Balart (FL-25); Tom Reed (NY-23); and Will Hurd (TX-23).
“No one who voted for the misnamed ‘Equality Act’ deserves to serve in Congress,” said Mat Staver, Founder and Chairman of Liberty Counsel. “This bill destroys the fundamental religious freedom on which America was founded.”
“This bill is unpatriotic and dangerous. The misnamed ‘Equality Act’ has nothing to do with equality and is the most serious threat to life and liberty ever proposed by Congress. This bill needs to be stopped in the Senate. If this bill becomes law, the consequences are staggering,” said Staver.
And last but not least we have a crazy rant from the “Christian Crypt Keeper” himself Pat Robertson of the 700 Club himself who claims that God will “vomit” & “get rid of” America if the Equality Act passes into law.
This is a devastating blow to religious freedom and to the sanctity of America.
If you want to bring the judgment of God on this nation, you just keep this stuff up. You know, I was reading in Leviticus where it said, ‘Because of these things, the land will vomit you out.’ Vomit you out. I think God will say, ‘I’ve had it with America, if you do this kind of stuff, I’m going to get rid of you as a nation.
There is plenty of stuff that is going on, when you look at the potential of atomic war, when you look at the potential of a solar strike or something on our grid, you could go down the line of devastation that could happen to our nation. We don’t want that. We want the blessing of God, not the curse of God
The fact is, God does not create people that way. Now, there’s circumstances that lead one maybe down that path, and I’m not saying anyone would choose that lifestyle. But to say that they were made by God? First off, the science doesn’t back that up, and Scripture doesn’t back that up, because Jesus himself spoke to what marriage was. And Matthew also spoke to what gender was. I don’t hear Mayor Pete quoting that.
“Scripture warns of wolves in sheep’s clothing coming and talking smooth, trying to be all things to all people. The reality is he’s advocating for policies that are not in line with the Scripture. You can talk about words. You can use the rhetoric of Scripture, but your policy has to match it.
“When you’re redefining god’s institution of marriage, you can’t claim to be carrying out the policies and principles of Scripture when you’re doing things that are 180 degrees from it.
Ms. Perkins it seems is either very attracted to, or afraid of Pete Buttigieg.
The truth is, “sexual orientation” is a multi-faceted concept, involving a combination of attractions, behaviors, and personal identity. These four studies all demonstrate that significant change in each of the elements of sexual orientation is possible.
The percentage changing from homosexuality to heterosexuality ranged from 13% to 53% (while the percentage changing from heterosexuality to homosexuality ranged only from 1% to 12%). In one survey of “same-sex attracted respondents,” up to 38% of men and 53% of women “changed to heterosexuality” in only a six-year period.
In light of this evidence, the public would be wise to question whether the efforts of the LGBT movement to ride on the coat-tails of “civil rights” can any longer be justified. Indeed, the science shows that the evidence for immutability—on which many have relied to argue for such legislation—simply isn’t there. If Congress truly wants to pursue “evidence-based” policy, it will reject the “Equality Act” and its deceptive premise. – Peter Sprigg of the Family Research Council
And Christians could become non-Christians. Why protect them under the 1964 Civil Rights Act?
