FRC Hate Group Leader Tony Perkins: The Equality Act Will Destroy The 1st. Amendment

FRC Hate Group Leader Tony Perkins: The Equality Act Will Destroy The 1st. Amendment

More anti-LGBT propaganda from Family Research Council hate group president Tony “I have ties to white supremacist” Perkins

Via press release:

Some reporters at yesterday’s Equality Act press conference wondered if they were at a party. And in retrospect, maybe they were — the Left’s farewell to the First Amendment. Religious liberty and free speech have had a good run, but as far as Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-Calif.) concerned, they’ve stood in the Left’s way long enough. It’s time to get back to the business of controlling how every American thinks, speaks, and acts on issues of human sexuality. (How ironic that these same people accused Republicans of being fixated on America’s bedrooms!)

But this about tolerance, the Left will say. The country is on board! Liberals will point, as so many did yesterday, to the polls. Look! Americans want to end discrimination, they argued. Well, of course they do. We all do. But how the country defines “discrimination” and how the Left does are two very different things. One man’s “intolerance” is another man’s religious freedom.

Still, Big Business seems intent on carrying the water for a bill that would destroy the very climate that makes companies successful in the first place. Forty-four groups, including the National Association of Manufacturers and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, sent a letter to the House and Senate urging members to “combat discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity in the workplace… We look forward to working with Congress to promote and perfect the Equality Act.”

Do they know the implications of these countless new regulations – or the overwhelming costs of compliance? What about the legal fees for settling workplace disputes, the higher taxes that will inevitably come from more government oversight, or the loss of competitiveness that comes with more regulation?

Big Business is desperately trying to have its cake — and make you bake them too. They want the admiration of the Left and the favorable economic policies of conservatives. And while they embrace this miserable excuse for fairness that robs every Americans of their speech, privacy, and beliefs, where will they look to bail them out when their profits start tanking? To conservatives. But they can’t have it both ways. Big Business can either embrace the social structure that leads to growth, or they can sit and watch their revenues implode because they cared more about political correctness than the future of their corporations.

Michele “Crazy Eyes” Bachmann Money Begs for Tony Perkins and the FRC Hate Group

Dear XXXXX

I wanted to send you a personal note from FRC friend, former Congresswoman Michele Bachmann. In it she describes FRC’s urgent need, and the extraordinary opportunity we have to match your tax-deductible contribution today. Please take a moment to read it and let FRC hear from you today!

– Tony Perkins, President, FRC

—————————————-

From the Desk of Michele Bachmann
Dear XXXXX,

Back when I was serving in Congress, I knew I could always depend on Tony and FRC to help me advance our Christian and conservative principles in Washington, D.C.

And now, as a private citizen and fellow supporter, it’s been exciting to see FRC work closely with President Trump to enact pro-family tax reform, win the confirmation of Justice Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court, and secure executive orders to restore religious liberty and protect life.

That’s why I was extremely alarmed when Tony updated me on FRC’s current financial situation — and agreed to write to ask for your renewed support straight away.

DONATE NOW

You see, the left has been unrelenting in trying to stop the change that Americans approved in last year’s election. The Left has not stopped its attacks on the president or FRC and these attacks have left FRC $1.95 million behind budget. Thankfully, extremely generous FRC donors have stepped up with a $525,000 challenge grant to help meet the need.

The only catch is, FRC needs to raise an additional $525,000 no later than December 31st from friends like you to take advantage of this important opportunity.

Please pray over what amount God would have you send to help FRC meet this matching challenge and address their urgent year-end need.

Thank you so much!

Sincerely,

Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (ret.)

P.S. From one faith partner of Family Research Council to another, I urge you to support FRC today.

Today In Right Wing Cannibalism – FRC’s Tony Perkins: Kasich Has Joined The War On Christians!

Tony Perkins FRC Lies

Family Research Council hate group President Tony Perkins is ever so pissed at Ohio Gov. John Kasich somewhat moderate tone on the subject of religious liberties at the recent GOP Presidential debates after he said that companies should not be allowed to deny services based on their religious beliefs.

“Religious institutions should be able to practice the religion that they believe in. No question and no doubt about it,” Kasich said when asked by conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt if he could trust Kasich as much on religious liberty as the rest of the candidates.

“If you’re in the business of selling things, if you’re not going to sell to somebody you don’t agree, okay, today I’m not going to sell to somebody who’s gay, and tomorrow maybe I won’t sell to somebody who’s divorced. If you’re in the business of commerce, conduct commerce. That’s my view,” Kasich said.

Well Perkins is incensed at Kaisch’s remarks and sent out the following email blast and money begs.

In one of the more stunning moments of the Buckeye’s campaign, Kasich took direct aim at people like Aaron and Melissa Klein, who were ordered to surrender their First Amendment rights as a “price of doing business.” The young Christian parents of five have suffered through the shuttering of their bakery, a $135,000 fine, and years of costly court battles, all because a handful of Oregon tyrants feel as Kasich does: that the government should be able to punish Americans who believe differently about marriage than the radical Left. In his talk Wednesday, Governor Kasich pulled back the curtain on what his administration would do to stem the tide of this religious hostility: Nothing. It’s time for Christians to get over their convictions, he argued. “I think frankly,” he told the audience in Charlottesville, “our churches should not be forced to do anything that’s not consistent with them. But if you’re a cupcake maker and somebody wants a cupcake, make them a cupcake. Let’s not have a big lawsuit or argument over all this stuff. Move on. The next thing, you know, they might be saying if you’re divorced you shouldn’t get a cupcake.”

Move on? From what? The Bill of Rights? Our deeply-held beliefs? We already knew a Kasich administration wouldn’t defend marriage (“the Court has ruled,” he insisted), but who could believe that it would continue the Obama’s war on religious freedom? Amazingly, what the governor advocates is licensing the same discrimination against Christians that this coercion is supposed to spare others from. In the meantime, no one is suggesting that any person — homosexual, divorcee, or adulterer — be denied service at a sandwich or cupcake shop, hotel room, or anything else. That’s a convenient — and patently false — line of the Left. If the governor had familiarized himself with the stories of these shop owners before attacking them, he would know that people like Barronelle Stuzman actually offered to sell unarranged flowers and other goods to the same-sex couples in question. What they object to is being forced to use their God-given creative skills and talents in an event that violates everything their faith stands for.

As usual Perkins left out the fact that the Klein’s broke an Oregon state reasonable accommodation law and not a Federal law and had NOTHING to do with First Amendment rights and that the $135 K fines came out of $750 K+ in crowdfunding donations. They were represented pro bono by Alliance Defending Freedom and that they have made a fortune from the FRC and otheranti-gay hate groups in speaking fees.

Cakes and floral arrangements. That’s quite a hill to take your stand on, Tony old chap.

Family Reseach Council Claims Obama Loves Imperialism, Queer Bulgarians, and Abortion.

When it comes to foreign policy, the Obama Administration has made it clear they will have two priorities — promoting homosexuality and promoting abortion. The Administration has not only vocalized this policy but been quick to put taxpayer funds and resources behind it — regardless of other countries’ views on the matter. Earlier this year in the country of Bulgaria, the Administration spent tax dollars on a Gay Bulgarian Film Festival as well as an “after show party.” In June, the U.S. Embassy in Bulgaria, alongside 12 ambassadors from other countries, endorsed that country’s gay parade in an official declaration.

This brought the attention of 20 civil society organizations who wrote a letter to the embassies expressing their outrage that these countries would seek to promote activity that is against Bulgarian law, which clearly defines marriage as the union of one man and one woman. This all seems to be part of the President’s push, headed up by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, to use official U.S. resources to promote homosexuality. For example, while the Administration is slow to defend oppressed Christians who are being killed for their beliefs in Muslim and communist countries, they took less than one day to condemn the Russian government for barring a homosexual pride parade in Moscow. It is clear with this Administration that family and babies take a back seat to exporting immorality. – From the FRC website (Which I refuse to link to)

Interestingly the lead sponsor of the letter is Association Society and Values  in Bulgaria which and NO reference for it can be found via Google and signed by its “Chairman” Stoyan Georgiev, who happens to be a 26-year-old  Bulgarian footballer.

Is this letter a FRC fraud?

Or  will they’ll just let anyone own and start an anti-gay hate group at the drop of a hat nowadays?

Oh thats right, they do.

Anti-Gay Hate Group Family Research Council Bribes Families With Free Candy and Gifts In North Carolina

Tony Perkin’s Family Research Council have invaded  North Carolina with their Family “Values Bus’ are promoting North Carolina’s anti-gay marriage amendment ballot measure there by bribing families with children by offering them free gifts and candy.

The awesome Pam Spaulding writes:

When your ideas are morally bankrupt, as is the case of people who are pimping Amendment One to enshrine discrimination in NC’s constitution, you can’t win on logical arguments based on civil law. You have to load up a bus and drive around to convince North Carolinians to vote to “save marriage from the homosexuals” using religion-based bigotry and try to pollute the minds of children by offering up gifts and candy.

What’s that saying about taking candy from strangers?

Gay Friendly Clergy Deliver 20,000 Signatures To MSNBC To Get FRC’s Tony Perkins Off The Air

Bishop Gene Robinson and LGBT friendly clergy delivered a petition with over 20,000 signatures to MSNBC yesterday in hopes of getting them to stop using Tony Perkins, President of the Family Research Council a known hate group as one of their conservative pundits because of his dangerous and harmful anti-gay rhetoric and lies.

Its about time someone protested MSNBC for  enabling this extreme homophobic bigot’s viewpoints on their news why we as a community have not been actively and physically protesting this is beyond me.

And why GLAAD, whose job it is to handle homophobia in the media hasn’t done anything is a complete disgrace.

FRC Hate Group Head & MSNBC Pundit Tony Perkins: Christmas Is The Last Stand For Religious Liberty

“Thanksgiving leftovers aren’t the only things that get reheated this time of year — so do the ‘Christmas wars,’ and with it people’s tempers. While you may be chided for saying ‘Merry Christmas,’ don’t lose sight of the many other real threats to religious expression by signing our petition to stand for religious liberty.

“American Atheists, a self described ‘premier organization for civil rights,’ has announced that they are starting the Christmas wars early this year by putting up their ‘You KNOW it’s a MYTH’ billboards in a handful of states. The most significant threat posed by groups like the American Atheists isn’t that they take out billboards or insist on saying ‘Happy Holidays.’ It’s their faithless vision that they want to impose upon our nation. Christmas is but one of many flashpoints in the ongoing struggle to resist those who want to sterilize the public square of any religious expression.” – Tony Perkins of the SLPC certified hate group the Family Research Council and MSNBC Pundit via FRC Press Release.

MSNBC must be so PROUD!  Lean Forward and Bend Over!

Family Research Council Hate Group President Tony Perkins Has Proven Ties To The Ku Klux Klan

This isn’t exactly “new” news.  But it has been forgotten over the years that Family Research Council President Tony Perkins does have ties to white supremacists. a  This information must brought to light again and again.

In 1996, Tony Perkins paid former Ku Klux Klan Grand Wizard David Duke $82,000 for use of his mailing list.(Both Perkins and Duke are from Louisiana)  At the time, Perkins was campaign manager for Louis E. “Woody” Jenkins, a Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate in Louisiana. The Federal Election Commission fined the Jenkins campaign $3,000 for attempting to hide the money paid to Duke. The Family Research Council has always claimed that Perkins was unaware of David Dukes involvement with the KKK even though it was well known at the time.  Of course, if Perkins had been unaware of Duke’s connection to this list and the Klan then why did they try to hide the money paid to David Duke?

But that’s not all…..

In 2001, Perkins addressed the Council of Conservative Citizens (successor organization to the anti-integration White Citizens Council) – a known racist group with an agenda of white supremacy. CCC members focus on issues like interracial marriage, which the group calls “mongrelization of the races”; black-on-white violence; and the demise of white Southern pride and culture, best exemplified in the debate about the Confederate flag. Additionally, in its heightened rhetoric about the expropriation of states’ rights by the federal government and by an impending “New World Order,”  Perkins refuses to answer questions about his affiliation with this White Supremacist organization  Associates of the CCC include Mark Cotterill, Chris Temple, Jared Taylor, Paul Fromm and once again David Duke.

So in 1996 Perkins he didn’t know Duke had “KKK” white supremacist/Klan connections but 5 years later in 2001 Perkins speaks at a white supremacist hate group meeting that had associations to David Duke and the “KKK”?

BIG coincidence.

In 2002, Perkins embarked on a campaign to run for the US Senate Perkins was dogged with questions about his involvement with David Duke. Perkins issued a flat denial that he had ever had anything to do with Duke, and he denounced him for good measure. Fortunately for us, Perkins’s signature was on the document authorizing the purchase of Duke’s list.”

To this day Perkins refuses to talk about this and respond to questions in hopes that it will go away.  And it seems to be working until now.  And I for one WILL NOT let this information fade into the woodwork.

Perkins is an anti-gay racist who makes his money off hate.  Pure and simple.  That this man…..no this THING can make money off the noxious evil hate he spreads is unthinkable.  And whats even more unthinkable that right wing GOP politicians look to him for advice and follow him.

THIS is the kind of information that needs to be kept alive and told, and retold and shouted to expose this racist anti-gay hate mongering charlatan for the evil fucking human being  that he is and should be used to destroy him.

Video – Family Research Council Hate Group’s Peter Sprigg: "Why is this Bachmann "ex-gay" story even news?"

Richard Lui talks with Peter Sprigg (Family Research Council) & R. Clarke Cooper (Log Cabin Republicans) about the “reparative therapy” going on at Bachmann & Associates.

Interestingly the “Wah! I’m such a victim, people aren’t tolerant of my bigotry” spiel is pretty much the mantra of the KKK, Stormfront, FRC, NOM and the rest of the Republican base nowadays
