Columbus’s CBS News affiliate reports:

A representative from southwest Ohio posted to her Facebook that the blame for the Dayton shootings should be placed on gay marriage, recreational marijuana and former President Barack Obama among other things. Rep. Candice Keller (R-Middletown) began her post by saying “liberals start the blame game” after every mass shooting and “why not place the blame where it belongs?”

“The breakdown of the traditional American family(thank you, transgender, homosexual marriage, and drag queen advocates); fatherlessness, a subject no one discusses or believes is relevant; the ignoring of violent video games; the relaxing of laws against criminals(open borders); the acceptance of recreational marijuana; failed school policies(hello, parents who defend misbehaving students): disrespect to law enforcement(thank you, Obama).”

Keller insists that she posted something to her private, personal Facebook page and should have no bearing on her as a politician.

Keller who ran on a Right to Life platform in 2016 (To her only babies are allowed to live) made national news with her remarks about teens who survived the Parkland shooting to become advocates for gun control. At a gun rights rally, Keller said a 15-year-old shooting survivor who spoke about gun control on national television “would just as soon be eating Doritos and playing video games.”

Ohio Republican Party leader Jane Timken has called on Keller to resign from her Butler County seat after the lawmaker’s “shocking” comments about Sunday’s mass shooting in Dayton.

Carl Pacheco, a gay Latino Trump supporter who brandished a knife and kicked a woman’s vehicle at a Kathy Griffin show in Houston, TX  on Monday, Aug. 20 says he doesn’t feel he did anything wrong, and that he is being persecuted for being a “Nazi”.

Pacheco was wearing a “Make American Great Again” hat and a shirt with Trumps image outside Griffin’s show. After a patron who was leaving the show yelled an expletive at Pacheco, he responded by calling the woman a “c–t.” He then he followed her to her vehicle, kicked the front passenger-side door, and banged a knife against the window.

Pacheco told Houston’s OutSmart magazine that he believes it’s interesting that “white middle-aged people” are being presented as the victims, while he’s being “demonized” and portrayed as “a neo-Nazi.” Pacecho said he is a gay Latino immigrant.

I am cooperating with the police investigation,” Pacheco said. “I don’t feel I’ve done anything wrong based on the laws and the circumstances of what happened.”

Pacheco declined further comment and referred additional questions to his attorney, Michael Mercer.

Mercer said he’s confident that no charges will be filed.

“[Carl] went to that concert expecting to be able to have political conversations with people who were there, which is something that everybody should be able to do, and unfortunately that wasn’t able to happen,” Mercer said, adding that he believes the alleged victims “had too much to drink and got offended” by Pacheco’s attire. (Michele Nunez, the alleged victim, said she does not drink.)

“You should have the right to go express yourself at a concert, as long as you do so peacefully and politely,” Mercer said. “Hopefully the police will give us an opportunity to tell our side of the story.”

Portland Hate Crime Murderer Jeremy Christian is a Known White Supremacist

A man fatally stabbed two people and wounded a third on a commuter train in Oregon’s largest city Friday as people confronted him for “yelling a gamut of anti-Muslim and anti-everything slurs,” a Portland police spokesman said.

Christian may have directed slurs at two young women whom witnesses described as Muslim, one of whom was wearing a hijab.

As two men tried to calm him down, Christian stabbed them and one other man, police said. The two men who died were identified Saturday as Ricky John Best , 53, of Happy Valley, and Taliesin Myrddin Namkai Meche, 23, of Portland.

Jeremy Joseph Christian, 35, was on a Metropolitan Area Express (MAX) light-rail train in Portland late Friday afternoon when he started yelling what “would best be characterized as hate speech toward a variety of ethnicities and religions,” police said in news release.

Christian is a known right wing extremist and white supremacist. On April 29, Christian showed up to the right-wing “March for Free Speech” on 82nd Avenue in Montavilla with a baseball bat in an attempt to assault left-wing protesters. The bat was quickly confiscated by Portland police officers. He ranted how he was a nihilist. He’d soon yelled racial slurs (“fuck all you n*****s”) and gave the Nazi salute throughout the day. He yelled “Hail Vinland” throughout the day.

FRC Hate Group Leader Tony Perkins: I Am Sure That Will Issue An Anti-LGBT Executive Order On “Religious Liberty”

 

CNBC reports:

A prominent conservative Christian leader on Tuesday expressed confidence that President Donald Trump will still take executive action to uphold “religious liberty” despite a White House statement that the president will uphold existing protections against “anti-LGBTQ workplace discrimination” by federal contractors. “I think this is going to be addressed,” said Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council. Proponents of “religious liberty” argue that religiously oriented workplaces should be allowed to consider a person’s sexual orientation in doing business.

Perkins said the statement does not preclude a new executive order protecting religious organizations from “having to change their views on human sexuality and marriage” while holding contracts with the federal government. Though he notes that he hasn’t “gotten complete clarity,” he said, “I have every confidence” that President Trump will act along the lines of a proposal offered previously by Republican Rep. Steve Russell of Oklahoma to exempt “any religious corporation, religious association, religious education institution or religious society” with a federal contract from Obama’s directive.

We all do expect Trump to pull some sort of religious liberty bullshit and we should be concerned.

We should also be concerned that CNBC calls Tony Perkins “a prominent conservative Christian leader” as well

Former Republican Congresswoman and current Deplorable Swamp Trump adviser Michele “Crazy Eyes” Bachmann has returned and is claiming that gay people are working hand-in-hand with Islamist terrorists and the Black Lives Matter movement to destroy American’s values.

In an interview with the extremist right-wing website Wingnut WorldNetDaily Bachmann states:

Once liberties fall, the groups break with each other in a race to impose their particular views on the American populace,” she said. “Causing liberties to fall is a long-term project, and they will use whatever allies they can get to realize that phase of their goals.

People understand Islam abhors homosexuality, yet they often join forces in protests with gay activists. The answer is simple, Black Lives Matters, the gay agenda, as well as Islamic supremacism, all seek domination over American freedoms.

They cannot reach their aims separately, but they can realize the fall of individual liberties if they work together. Once liberties fall, the groups break with each other in a race to impose their particular views on the American populace causing liberties to fall is a long-term project, and they will use whatever allies they can get to realize that phase of their goals.

There has been no news if her husband Marcus “Buffy” Bachmann is involved in the “domination” attempt.

Trump Security Advisor Pick Outed Her Gay Brother Who Was Dying Of AIDS To Her Parents.

KT McFarland, Donald Trump’s pick for deputy national security advisor, outed her gay bother to their parents in a letter more than three decades ago before the brother, Michael Troia, died from AIDS.

The letter was made public in a 2006 New York Times profile of  McFarland who had hoped to be the Republican Party nominee to challenge Hillary Clinton when she ran for a second term in the US Senate.

McFarland lived near her brother for 10 years and said in the article: ‘I was really living a life of going to Central Park with my kids, and he was increasingly living — there was no secret about it — he was openly gay. I had no problem with that, I loved him. But I was increasingly concerned because he talked about a very promiscuous lifestyle. And it saddened me a great deal.’

But in her n a 1992 letter to their parents she reportedly wrote: ‘Have you ever wondered why I have never had anything to do with Mike and have never let my daughters see him although we live only fifteen minutes away from each other? He has been a lifelong homosexual, most of his relationships brief, fleeting one-night stands.’

After the publication of the magazine article, McFarland reportedly tried to do damage control with the following statement: ‘In seeking to put a painful past behind me, I wrote two candid letters to my parents in 1992 at the advice of a counselor. Now, in the midst of a political campaign, those letters have found their way into the hands of a magazine reporter.’

VP-Elect Mike Pence Booed at Broadway Hamilton Performance, Cast Addresses Him After Show - Videos

VP-Elect Pence was loudly booed as he entered the theater of the musical Hamilton on Broadway Friday night., and audience members said the performance was repeatedly stopped because of jeers aimed at him.

After the show, Brandon Dixon a cast member thanked Mr Pence for attending and read a letter to him on stage.

When Mr Dixon addressed theatregoers at the end, he urged them not to boo and asked Mr Pence, who was leaving, to stay and listen.

“You know, we had a guest in the audience this evening, and Vice-President-elect Pence, I see you are walking out but I hope you will hear us.

“There’s nothing to boo here, ladies and gentlemen… We have a message for you, sir, and we hope you will hear us out.”

“We, sir, are the diverse America who are alarmed and anxious that your new administration will not protect us,” Brandon Dixon said.

Dixon continued: “We truly hope that his show has inspired you to uphold our American values and work on behalf of all of us.

“We truly thank you for sharing this wonderful American story told by a diverse group of men and women of different colors, creeds, and orientations.”

The message was reportedly penned by the show’s writers when they learned that Mr Pence planned to attend.

Dixon’s reading was greeted with cheers from the audience at the Richard Rogers Theatre in New York.

An audience member tweeted to say there was a three-minute standing ovation when one character performed a song directly to Mr Pence which included the lyrics:

“A small query for you / What comes next? / You’ve been freed / Do you know how hard it is to lead?”
