Premiring next week on the SyFy channel will be the soon to be classic cheesefest ultra- epic “Mega Python vs. Gatoroid” starring none other than 80’s teen pop stars Tiffany and Debbie (er, Deborah) Gibson!
Watch a sneek peek scene as Debs and Tiff unsheathes their claws and good old fashioned catfight.
It isn’t Crystal vs. Alexis but you gotta love Debbie’s tagline at the end. “I think we’re alone now.”

80’s pop icon Tiffany stopped by Bravo’s Watch Watch Happen Live with Andy Cohen for the Mazel of the week and promote both Tiffany’s and Debbie Gibson’s upcoming SyFy movie cheesefest. MegaPython vs. Gatoroid the other night and when Andy asked her if she ever dated one of the New Kids On The Block guys Tiffany confessed that she dated Jonathan and then added “He became gay later. I didn’t do it.”
Only problem is. Johnathan has never publicly come out. WHOOPS.
But all seems to be fine with both Johnathan and Tiffany as you can see from the Twitter exchange below.

* The SyFy Channel has set the date for premiere of the cheesy awsomeness that is “Sharktopus” (Watch the Trailer) . It will premiere Saturday, September 25th at 8PM EST. The Comic-Con 2010 may be over but the clips keep coming! And this one is a gay geks dream come true! The SyFy channel showed off some footage from its upcoming soon to be classic “mega – epic “Mega Python vs. Gatoroid” Starring 80’s teen pop stars Tiffany and Debbie (er, Deborah) Gibson!

The Hollywood Reporter reports that former 80s teen pop sensations Debbie Gibson and Tiffany have been cast opposite each other in a Syfy original movie “Mega Python vs. Gatoroid” ( I wonder who plays which? Only kidding!)
“Mega Python vs. Gatoroid” will feature Gibson as a fanatical animal-rights activist who frees illegally imported exotic snakes from pet stores and releases them into the Everglades – where they then morph into super-sized menaces – while Tiffany will portray an over-enthusiastic park ranger out to save endangered alligators. The pair, who used to battle it out on the charts, have starred in Syfy productions before, but this film marks the first time they will appear together.
Well I suppose it’s either this or the Lifetime Channel after all. In twenty five years from now Lady Gaga will probably be doing the same thing. She would be perfect for SyFy.
