HGTV Never-were Benham Boys Ask: Are You In?

Benham Boys

On the heels of their upcoming Falcon Video – Brothers Should Do It 2: Electric Bugaloo. Jason and David Benham the failed HGTV “interior designers” got off their knees long enough *cough* to pen a piece for Wingnut World Net Daily asking the age old question.  Are you in?

“As our faith comes under fire – with today’s attack on religious liberty – we must remember that God uses fire to purify our faith. Fire draws a line in the sand: Are we in or out? With Him or against Him? There is no in between. We’ve heard some say, ‘I’m just riding the fence, sitting quietly, waiting to see what happens.’ To them we respond, ‘The devil owns the fence. Choose which side you’re on, and jump to it. Besides, you can’t stand strong on top of a fence.’ The Supreme Court’s ruling on gay ‘marriage’ made it painfully obvious that religious liberties, especially for Christians, are now in the cross-hairs of the militant, secular agenda that is fundamentally changing our country. This means we need to get off the fence and stand up. We’ve got to decide beforehand, i.e., today, what we’re going to do when our faith is actually under fire.”

Hey boys.  Maybe there needs to be a hole in that fence to let all of that “glory” shine through.

HGTV’s “Never Were” Benham Brothers: We Turned A Gay Guy Straight By Giving Him Baseball Tickets

Benham Boys

Making a career out of their anti-gay “Christian” stance.  Smacked down and never-were HGTV wannabees Jason and David Benham talked about they, with the help of a pair of Chicago Cubs baseball tickets turned a gay man straight during during their National Religious Broadcasters convention speech

“We had so many people from the gay community reaching out to us and one man in particular from the city of Chicago reached out — and he said things to me that made me lose my appetite. But I simply responded in love.”

“After a little conversation back and forth, I found out he loved baseball … and I got him tickets to a Cubs game. He shot me a Facebook post and said, ‘I was not expecting that — and I’ve been thinking a lot about this. I’ve chosen to walk away from my lifestyle.’”

See that.  One night with the Benham boys is enough to turn a gay man straight.  But not for the reasons that they are stating.

NOTE:  In two days the Benham Boys will be holding a hate rally in the city of Charlotte, North Carolina protesting against a proposed LGBT rights ordinance.
