NOM’s Maggie Gallagher – Srivastav Claims HRC Has A "Jihad" Against DOMA Loving Bigot Lawyer Paul Clement
Maggie Gallagher is going all sorts of overboard and buzzword crazy in her latest NOM BLOG post claiming that the HRC has a “JIHAD” on DOMA loving homophobic lawyer Paul Clements who took up the cause to defend DOMA and then was quickly booted but was publicly allowed to “resign” (allegedly) from his law firm King & Spalding when they decided that they did not want the case and were quite pissed off by Clement for accepting it without asking the firms directors in the first place.
In Moo-gies latest little bon mot of hate she states:
“Specifically, I wonder whether the ease with which HRC caused King & Spalding to capitulate might cause Tony Kennedy to reach an obvious, real-world conclusion: namely, that gays and lesbians are far from powerless, and are doing just fine without any “heightened” protections. If it comes down to that, the campaign against Paul Clement would have backfired — and produced its own rough justice.”

Ms Gallagher – Srivastav will never admit to the fact that the LGBT Community should have the “heightened protections” that she herself enjoys through her religion. But she does have one thing correct. We are far from powerless and now the gloves are off.

And as someone who sleeps with men and is a long-term relationship with a man, I know what (straight) women have to put up with. I’m not the first gay man that women have turned to for advice about love and sex, Maggie, and I won’t be the last. And aren’t you a practicing Catholic?
