Canadian comic Mary Walsh bushwacked Christine O’Donnell yesterday at a polling station. Walsh’s character Marg Delahunty, also at one time took on Sarah Palin at a book signing in Ohio.
Walsh who should really do this more often, snuck up on O’Donnell and asked questions like. “I just wanted to say good luck from Canada, and to suggest perhaps you need your own constitution with a first amendment that guarantees the separation between your thought and speech.” Adding, “Miss O’Donnell, the Canadian press is saying you’re so dense that light bends around you. Do you have any reaction to that?”

* Rep. Patrick Murphy, the House sponsor of its successful DADT repeal bill, lost tonight to Tea Party candidate Mike Fitzpatrick. Another champion of LGBT rights bites the dust.
* The Chair of the House Armed Services Committee, Rep. Ike Skelton (D-MO), an ardent opponent of repealing DADT, lost . Not really feeling bad about that one. Fuck you Ike!
* Jerry Brown beat crazy illegal hiring bitch Meg Whitman! Yea for Jerry! Fuck you Meg!

When you run with a group of Republican Teabagger Candidates the likes of Ron Paul, Sharon Angle, Carly Florina, and Carl Paladino the bar is set extremely low to come off as the most stupid. But today Christine O’Donnell managed to lower the bar to a new standard when in a debate when at Widener Law School this morning against her Democratic opponent Chris Coons Delaware Teabagger O’Donnell inspired gasps and laughter from the audience as she appeared not to know that the First Amendment calls for barring the government from establishing religion and that it calls for a separation of church and state.
Coons said private and parochial schools are free to teach creationism but that “religious doctrine doesn’t belong in our public schools.”
“Where in the Constitution is the separation of church and state?” O’Donnell asked him.
When Coons responded that the First Amendment bars Congress from making laws respecting the establishment of religion, O’Donnell asked: “You’re telling me that’s in the First Amendment?”
And lucky us! People were filming the debate!
What a stupid bitch. (And I don’t mean it in a “Sassy Gay Friend” way) One things sure I’m sure she doesn’t want to appeal the 21st amendment… ..the one that gives her the constitutional right to drink a fifth of Smirnoff before a debate

She could run but she couldn’t;t hide. last night in Delaware Christine O’Donnell Christine O’Donnell shared a stage with New Castle County Executive Chris Coons (D) in their first debate.
On the “Dont Ask, Don’t Tell” repeal O’ Donnell stated that it would not be up to her if elected to push her “personal agenda” about the repeal and “it should be left up to the four Joint Chiefs of Staff. But in the end O’Donnell comapred gays in the Military to Adultry.
“The military already regulates personal behavior in that it doesn’t allow affairs to go on within your chain of command. It does not allow it you are married to have an adulterous affair within the military. So the military already regulates personal behavior because it feels that it is in the best interest of our military readiness. I don’t think that Congress should be forcing a social agenda on to our military. I think we should leave that to the military.”
This stands in stark contrast to where she would push her “personal agenda” when speaking on abortion she said did say would support abortion ONLY in cases “where the life of the mother was at risk” Using her non-personal agenda remark the shouldn’t abortion rights decisions be left up top the Department of Health and Human Services?
Of course the Republican quislings are already applauding her debate. Because its a HUGE thing that she didn’t come off as crazy as she is and they are also blaming Wolf Blitrzer and a local Delaware reporter for treating O’Donnell unfairly.

Republican//Tea Bagging Senate candidate Christine “I had a picnic in a blood stained satanic altar” O’Donnell told a reporter, “People are created in God’s image. Homosexuality is an identity adopted through societal factors. It’s an identity disorder.” (Talk about the pot calling the kettle. Or should it be the cauldron calling the lid?)
O’Donnell’s suggestion that gays suffer from a psychological disorder is far worse than other comments about gays that have already gotten media attention, such as her claim that the government spent too much on AIDS and her insistence that “gays get away with so much.” Also: Last week O’Donnell insisted that her rigid moralistic views represent long-ago youthful excesses. Tea Party favorite Christine O’Donnell’s past continues to keep coming back to haunt her. In a clip from an old television news show O’Donnell admits she “dabbled in witchcraft” And that “One of her first dates with a witch was a picnic on a satanic altar. There was a little blood there and stuff like that.”
Bill Maher who televised the clip on his HBO program last night from when O’Donnell was a guest on his “politically Incorrect” program in the late 90’s said that he will continue showing embarrassing clips until O’Donnell agrees to appear on his show.. “It’s like a hostage crisis. Every week that you don;t show up I’m going to throw another body out.”
