Family Seeks $20 Million In Damages After Anti-Gay School Bashings.

A family in Washington State is seeking $20 million dollars from the Everett School District, alleging their son was relentlessly bullied and ruthlessly beaten, all because he is gay.

The family claims the district allowed an environment where hate crimes could flourish — and even be put on the internet. At least two videos were posted on social media showing the student being jumped by a group of students who throw him to the ground where he is kicked and punched. 

The parents say on two occasions the school had the perpetrators sign a contract saying they would have no contact with the boy, but the harassment continued. 

The parents have filed an administrative claim against the Everett School District alleging it allowed “hate crimes” to be committed and “failed to provide a safe learning environment” for the seventh grader. 

The 13-year-old’s parents, Nicole and Doug Stanford, say the images are “burned into their brains.”

“It’s terrible. It’s our one job to keep him safe and the only place we can’t keep him safe is at school,” said Doug Stanford.

The teen’s parents say it started on the very first day of school when their son was pushed off his school bus and told not to return because he is gay.

“I live in a constant state of fear that my son is going to take his life. Constant,” said Nicole Stanford.

The couple took their child out of school in May but say those perpetrating the violence were allowed to stay.

A spokesperson for the school district declined to comment except to say the district will investigate the allegations.  It has 60 days to do so.

Former Christian missionary Jordan Webb was sentenced to up to 25 years for second-degree sexual abuse, incest and child endangerment. Webb’s victim was diagnosed with gonorrhea in April 2022. Webb was also diagnosed with gonorrhea just days prior.

 District Court Judge Christopher Polking sentenced 31-year-old Webb, of Fort Dodge, to 25 years for the sex abuse charge, five years for the incest charge and two years for the child endangerment charge.

In addition to the prison sentence, Webb will also be required to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life and will be on supervision as if on parole for the remainder of his life.

Taylor B. Schaefer, called deputies after getting a “gut feeling” that her boyfriend, 32-year-old Shawn M. Stone, was abusing her 5-year-old child.

She was right. But she already knew.

Surveillance videos’ which caught the abuse, showed instances of the 5-year-old victim being beaten and bound with his hands behind his back for hours in the days leading up to the 911 call.

Initially arrested on a charge of aggravated child abuse, but as detectives investigated the situation, they learned that the abuse was much worse than they initially thought.

Sheriff Mike Chitwood said Stone punched, kicked, and beat the child with a mop handle for having an accident and also kept the child in a cage.

“Ultimately, the investigation revealed multiple recordings of the victim receiving beatings while Schaefer was present in the house, as well as several instances where he was visibly injured and limping in her presence, but received no care or medical attention,” the sheriff’s office said.

The child was taken to a hospital for treatment, doctors and nurses discovered that the 5-year-old suffered 46 visible injuries, internal injuries, and a fractured skull.

Detectives said they also learned that an older child was “forced to drink boiling water, sprayed with boiling water, and beaten with several household objects.” This child also was said to be a witness to the “brutal abuse” heaped upon the 5-year-old.

After concluding their investigation, the sheriff’s office said they charged Stone with an additional 23 charges for “repeated acts of abuse and neglect.” Taylor Schaefer also faces 25 charges for not intervening and reporting the instances of abuse, according to detectives.

Both defendants are registered Republicans.

But please Florida. Go on and abuse law abiding LGBT Americans while this hell happens in your state all the time.

Michael Keith Stevens, who is married with no children, was appointed superintendent in 2022 after years as an elementary school teacher in several other districts.

A Texas school superintendent sent lewd photos to an undercover officer posing online as a 15-year-old girl he planned to meet with, authorities said. Michael Keith Stevens, 47, superintendent of the Itasca Independent School District, was arrested Thursday and accused of online solicitation of a minor, according to court records.

“He sent pictures of his private parts and asked for nude videos and images in return,” Constable Alan Rosen said. “He told the undercover investigator he was at work and some of his disturbing photos appear to be taken in his office. And during the conversation, he was planning a trip to Houston to engage in sex acts.

Detectives said Stevens believed the undercover agent he was talking to was a 15-year-old girl and referred to her age multiple times. The defendant asked “Am I too old for you? So, you’re okay with my age? I’m probably too old for you. I’m 47 years old.”

They need to pass a new law in Texas which prevents teachers from saying anything about heterosexuality since that’s grooming and sexualizing children and that’s obviously what caused this crime to occur.

Gregory J. Haanstad, United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, announced that on June 2, 2023, a criminal complaint was issued charging Cory J. Herthel (age: 40) of Green Bay, Wisconsin, with attempted production of child pornography and the transfer of obscene material to a Venezuelan child.

The attempted production of child pornography charge carries a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years and up to 30 years of incarceration in federal prison upon conviction. The transfer of obscene materials charge carries up to ten years’ imprisonment. A conviction on either charge would require Herthel to register as a sexual offender.

According to the criminal complaint, Herthel met the child while performing missionary work and thereafter maintained contact with the child online. Herthel encouraged the minor to send him videos of the child’s genitalia in exchange for monetary payments. He is further alleged to have sent the child images of his genitals.

A group of former followers of Dave Ramsey has sued the Christian finance guru and radio host, along with his company and a marketing firm, for endorsing a failed timeshare exit company that allegedly defrauded customers out of millions.

Seventeen former Ramsey listeners filed a class-action lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for Western Washington alleging Ramsey was paid as much as $30 million from 2015 to 2021 to endorse Timeshare Exit Team, a Kirkland, Washington-based firm that collected $200 million from clients — many of them Ramsey listeners — in exchange for a promise to free them from their timeshare obligations.

But the company, which often collected more than $5,000 per customer, failed to live up to its promises. In 2021, Reed Hein & Associates LLC, which did business as Timeshare Exit Team, paid $2.61 million to settle a deceptive business practices lawsuit filed by the attorney general of Washington state and later went out of business.

Police say they found two images and one video of child pornography on Dasilva’s phone on March 1 after receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The NCMEC allegedly detected child pornography on an email account and Twitch account traced to Ephrata Borough.

Police say Dasilva, a former youth pastor, failed to register his Twitch account and email address with Pennsylvania State Police, which was a condition of a prior conviction.

Brandon Moore, 42, was arrested on Wednesday evening after threatening LGBT students at a public high school south of Dayton. Ohio.

At 9:00am last Wednesday Moore called Kettering Fairmont High School to threaten LGBT students, a Kettering Police Department Public Information Officer said. School officials said the threat was not specific to anyone but broad in scope. “Following district safety protocols, Fairmont’s on-site School Resource Officer was made aware of the phone call,” the district said.

Kettering Police identified the caller around noon as Brandon Moore of Beavercreek, and his home and place of employment were identified.

Police said Moore had been arrested and charged with telecommunications and disturbing the peace violations. The was no mention of any future hate crime charges being filed.

Kettering Fairmont High School has been the focus of attention in the wake of two LGBTQ+ students being crowned king and queen at last month’s prom.

Via The New Republic: “On Tuesday, the Oklahoma House, in which Republicans have a supermajority, voted against House Bill 1028, which would have outlawed school district personnel from “using corporal punishment on any student identified with a disability in accordance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.” After lawmakers read Bible verses and talked about the need for physical discipline, the measure failed to proceed by a vote of 45-43. “The rod and reproof give wisdom. But a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame,” said Republican Representative Jim Olsen.”

Oklahoma a state where a drag queen reading a book to kids is unacceptable because it’s child abuse, but literal child abuse is fine.

ANYONE who advocates beating a child, any child let alone one with mental/physical disabilities is not a Christian.

Leo Hoffman, a 12-year-old is child was beaten up at Seminole Middle School in Largo, Florida last weekend for wearing a rainbow PRIDE flag as a cape at a Memorial Day weekend school event.

Leo was at a picnic at their middle school during when a male student confronted them. The boy grabbed the flag and put it in the garbage, but Leo went to get it back.

Another boy took the flag away again and pushed Leo to the ground and stepped on them. A melee between students then ensured with a tug-of-war with the flag between those standing up for Leo and those who attacked him.

Dr. Michael Moss, principal of the school said\ the alleged attack during the Memorial Day weekend and that five of the main boys involved have been suspended and others were assigned to an alternative school.

“We teach our students to accept and respect everyone for who they are. This is a district that values diversity and promotes inclusion.

Video of the attack has been shared online by Leo’s sister Ashleigh, and has gone viral.

The school is now set to introduce an anti-bullying program when the students return later in the year .

An anti-gay pastor has been charged with sexually assaulting multiple young boys at his Alabama congregation.
 
Pastor John Martin, of the Lighthouse Baptist Church of Florence, Alabama confessed to his congregation that he disgraced his family by having sex with two young boys. Members of his congregation then reported his crimes to authorities.
 
Martin was arrested on Friday, July 5 on four charges of first-degree sexual abuse.
 
One victim stated that the abuse began when he was 12 years old. According to the victim, one incident occurred at a birthday party for Martin’s son. The victim told police that Martin climbed into the tent of the boy when everyone else had fallen asleep.
 
According to the court records, Martin assaulted numerous boys from his church. Martin performed sex acts on the boys and forced the boys to perform sex acts on him.
 
Besides his church duties Martin also worked as a bus driver for a local school. One victim told police that Martin showed him nude photos while he was on the bus. The victim said that on multiple occasions Martin texted him to ask him “if he touched himself” that day.

Lighthouse Baptist Church which John Martin works at is part of the Independent Fundamental Baptist (IFB) denomination that holds extremist anti-LGBT beliefs.

From the church’s website:

“We believe that any form of homosexuality, lesbianism, bisexuality, bestiality, incest, fornication, adultery, and pornography are sinful perversions of God’s gift of sex. We believe that God disapproves of and forbids any attempt to alter one’s gender by surgery or appearance.”

The church continues,

“We believe that the only legitimate marriage is the joining of one man and one woman.”

The church also believes that men are the leaders of the family. Women are not allowed to serve as pastors. Additionally, the church does not believe in divorce and expects members to remain married until they die. Corporal punishment of children is also approved by the church to keep them in line.

John Martin’s bail has been set at $60,000., he will be required to wear an ankle monitor and cannot have contact with minor children.
