Salvador Ramos the gunman who killed 19 kids and two teachers at a Texas elementary school in Uvalde, Texas, was a local high school student who was reportedly “bullied” with few if any friends who officials said legally purchased two assault rifles and scores of ammo last week for his 18th birthday.
Right-wing conspiracy theorists and a Republican lawmakers are spreading a baseless LIES that the Uvalde elementary-school shooter was transgender.
“It’s a transsexual leftist illegal alien named Salvatore Ramos,” posted demented GOP Congressman Paul Gosar posted in a since-deleted Tweet.
Crack smoker pot Candace Owens tweeted, “What drives an 18-year-old to murder innocent children? I don’t know. But judging by the photos of him cross-dressing, we can assume there were plenty of signs that he was mentally disturbed and abused by adults in his life.”
And now last but most certainly least we have GOP Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene: “The shooter in Uvalde was obviously mentally ill because he wore eyeliner and cross-dressed.”
Smack her, Just do it.
Marge Greene claims that the murderer in Uvalde “clearly had a lot of mental issues going on, as was shown with him wearing eyeliner, cross-dressing…” pic.twitter.com/RHJBXVCZlY
Today marks one of the most iconic moments in gay history when a gay male activist threw a pie in the face of one of the most evil homophobes in America, Anita Bryant.
On October 14, 1977, at press conference in Des Moines, Iowa, while reporters were questioning Bryant about her national crusade against homosexuals, gay rights activist Tom Higgins threw a pie in Bryant’s face, which caused Bryant to comment “At least it was a fruit pie” before praying for Higgins and breaking down in tears.
Bryant an American singer, former beauty queen, and pitch-woman for companies like Coke and Florida Orange Juice started the venomous ‘Save Our Children’ campaign against homosexuals in Dade County, Florida which spread throughout the nation and led to an upswing in violent attacks, including murder, against gay men and resulted in numerous cities denying or retracting gay and lesbian civil rights ordinances
In 1977 Bryant said:
“What these people really want, hidden behind obscure legal phrases, is the legal right to propose to our children that theirs is an acceptable alternate way of life. I will lead such a crusade to stop it as this country has not seen before. As a mother, I know that homosexuals cannot biologically reproduce children; therefore, they must recruit our children” and “If gays are granted rights, next we’ll have to give rights to prostitutes and to people who sleep with St. Bernards and to nail biters.” She also added that “All America and all the world will hear what the people have said, and with God’s continued help we will prevail in our fight to repeal similar laws throughout the nation.
On June 7, 1977, Bryant’s campaign led to a repeal of the anti-discrimination ordinance in Dade County, FL by a margin of 69 to 31 percent. The gay community retaliated against Bryant by organizing a boycott of Florida orange juice which she was a spokeswoman for. Gay bars all over North America took screwdrivers off their drink menus and replaced them with the “Anita Bryant”, which was made with vodka and apple juice. Sales and proceeds went to gay civil rights activists and organizations to help fund their fight against Bryant and her campaign.
Bryant led several more campaigns around the country to repeal local anti-discrimination ordinances including St. Paul, Minnesota; Wichita, Kansas; and Eugene, Oregon. Her success led to an effort to pass the Briggs Initiative in California which would have made pro or neutral statements regarding homosexuals or homosexuality by any public school employee cause for dismissal. Grass-roots liberal organizations, chiefly in Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area thanks to Harvey Milk, sprang up to defeat the initiative.
After the “pieing incident” the Florida orange juice boycott become more prominent and it was supported by many celebrities including Barbra Streisand, Bette Midler, Paul Williams, John Waters, Carroll O’Connor, Mary Tyler Moore and Jane Fonda.
The fallout from the gay community and it’s supporters ruined Bryant. Her contract with the Florida Citrus Commission was allowed to lapse in 1979 because of the controversy, her marriage to her first husband Bob Green failed at that time, and in 1980 she divorced him, citing emotional abusiveness and latent suicidal thoughts. Even the fundamentalist audiences and venues shunned her after her divorce as she was no longer invited to appear at their events and she lost another major source of income. With her four children, Bryant moved from Miami to Selma, Alabama, and later to Atlanta, Georgia where she still lives today.
In June of 2010 smelling the money of the anti-LGBT groups of today Bryant returned to her roots and appeared at an anti-gay, anti atheist, and anti Muslim event sponsored by “Reclaiming America For Christ”
The unsung hero who threw the infamous pie, lifetime gay activist Thom Higgins was a founding member and officer of several gay organizations, including FREE (Fight Repression of Erotic Expression), The Gay Imperative, and the Church of the Chosen People, a gay pagan religion established in 1975. He was also a member of Target City Coalition and the Cuban Refugee Task Force of Positively Gay.
Thom Higgins passed away November 10, 1994, in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Miss Michigan 2019 winner Kathy Zhu was stripped of her title on Thursday for “offensive, insensitive and inappropriate” social media posts, she said Thursday.
Zhu, 20, tweeted Thursday what appeared to be a screenshot of an email she received from Miss World America officials, who told her she was dismissed from being a pageant participant.
“Miss World America’s State/National/Chief Director accused me of being racist, Islamaphobic, and insensitive,” Zhu tweeted. “They stripped me of my Miss Michigan title due to my refusal to try on a hijab in 2018, my tweet about black on black gun violence, and ‘insensitive’ statistical tweets.”
The first racist incident happened in 2018, in which Zhu went up to a Muslim Student Association booth celebrating World Hijab Day.
She then tweeted:
“There is a ‘try a hijab on’ booth at my college campus. So you’re telling me that it’s now just a fashion accessory and not a religious thing? Or are you just trying to get women used to being oppressed under Islam?
The second occurrence is a reply to another Twitter user in which Zhu says:
“Did you know the majority of black deaths are caused by other blacks? Fix problems within your own community before blaming others.”
I wonder if it would it be insensitive to tell her if she doesn’t like it she can go back where she came from ?
Two weeks ago we reported about Elizabeth Johnston the rabidly anti-gay right wing extremist who goes by the name “The Activist Mommy,” who asked her of Facebook followers to call and harass a Jacksonville, Florida library that was holding a LGBT Prom for local teens.
The library bowed to pressure and canceled the prom which led Johnson to declare herself victorious over the “perversion is taking place in a taxpayer funded library.”
But in the end Johnson lost and she lost BIG. The 100-plus LGBT teens who planned to attend Storybook Pride Prom got their special night after all when the Buckman Bridge Unitarian Universalist Church in Jacksonville stepped in to host the LGBT event instead.
According to Grace Repass, the church board unanimously supported the decision to offer space for the event. “It was the right thing to do,” Repass told The Washington Post. “The LGBT+ youth in our community deserve to have their prom and we wanted to support them. We see our church as a safe place for people who are figuring out who they are. Our Unitarian Universalist values call us to respect the inherent worth and dignity of every person. So, it’s a matter of integrity — to act in alignment with who we say we are.”
Over 50 volunteers from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office officers, LGBT veterans, and private security workers helped pull the last minute event together and to keep the teens safe from unhinged Johnson and her minions.
“The inside was so positive and electric,” said BeBe Deluxe, a drag queen who appeared at the event. “Everyone was smiling. Lots of moms were crying happy tears. There were kids dancing, laughing and socializing as if nothing had even happened that week. Some of the youth had never met another gay person their age before and this event helped them make friends.”
Elizabeth Johnson still claims victory for having the prom cancelled at the Jacksonville library and has not updated her Activist Mommy Facebook page which she uses for far right attacks and anti-LGBT propaganda that her hate was defeated and by a church no less.
Joan Crawford; Glamorous Hollywood screen star, man chaser, friend of gays, wire hanger-phobic and allegedly the most sadistic Pepsi swilling mother of the millennium was born Lucille Fay LeSueur on this day March 23, 1905, in San Antonio, Texas.
With a career and gossip that spanned decades there is just too much to write about our dear Joanie. So we will let the following clips and videos speak for themselves.
So lets all raise a Vodka and Pepsi to Miss Joan Crawford. The Patron Saint of Bitchy Gay Men.
“Senator Franken was entitled to whatever type of review or process he wanted,” Gillibrand said. “He could’ve stuck it out, stayed in the Senate, gone through [the] Ethics Committee’s investigation. Those were his choices, but I had to make my choice.”
Some major Democratic donors, including Susie Tompkins Buell, have expressed frustration about Gillibrand’s decision to call for Franken’s resignation. But Gillibrand said that “if there are a few powerful Democratic donors who are angry,” then “that’s on them.
It’s funny she says: “Senator Franken was entitled to whatever type of review or process he wanted,” Gillibrand said. “He could’ve stuck it out, stayed in the Senate, gone through [the] Ethics Committee’s investigation…”
Perhaps if Gillibrand had called for an investigation – which she didn’t instead of insisting for his resignation without due process. He would have.
GLAAD has just announced that their Vanguard Media Award at the upcoming 30th annual GLAAD will be presented to Beyoncéand JAY-Z.
The Vangard Media Award is presented to “allies who have made a significant difference in promoting acceptance of LGBTQ people.”
Now we all know that Beyonce is a tireless LGBT advocate and has stood up numerous times over issues that affect the LGBT community. (SNORT) And JAY-Z has written some of the most pro-LGBT rap lyrics and music to date. Including some of these most memorable lines.
In his 2001 song “Heart of the City (Ain’t No Love),” the GLAAD recognized pro-gay singer raps:
Young faggots spittin’ at me, young rappers gettin’ at me My nigga Big predicted this s**t exactly “Mo’ Money, Mo’ Problems” – gotta move carefully ‘Cause faggots hate when you gettin’ money like athletes
Jay-Z also took a stand for ‘equality’ in a toe-tapper called, “La-La-La (Excuse Me Miss Again),” in which he sings:
Now I ain’t down with who like me or who like you That’s gay, I ain’t into liking dudes no way
He also bravely took a stand for the gay community in his tune, “22 Two’s,” :
Too many faggot niggas clockin’ my spendin’ Exercisin’ your gay-like minds like Richard Simmons
GLAAD president and CEO Sarah Kate Ellis had the audacity yo call Beyonce and Jay-Z “global icons and passionate defenders of human rights and acceptance for all people,” in a press statement, adding, “When Beyoncé and JAY-Z speak, the world becomes inspired and when it comes to LGBTQ people, their voices of acceptance have been heard loud and clear.”
Sarah Kate Ellis should hang her head in shame and resign or have her over-paid ass kicked to the street.
Poor Vito Russo is rolling in his grave over what has happened to the once noble organization that he founded.
Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, an outspoken advocate for women’s causes and electing more women to office, is entering the 2020 race for the White House herself, becoming the latest candidate to join what is expected to be a crowded Democratic primary to take on President Trump.
In an appearance Tuesday on the “Late Show With Stephen Colbert,” Ms. Gillibrand, a New York Democrat, said she was forming an exploratory committee to raise money and travel the country for her run. She is scheduled to start campaigning within days, with plans to spend the weekend in Iowa.
“I’m going to run for president of the United States because as a young mom I am going to fight for other people’s kids as hard as I would fight for my own,’’ she said.
Gillibrand is still suffering from the ramifications of throwing one of America’s best progressive senators Al Franken under a bus without due process for the sake of the #MeToo movement and to further her political career. A move which backfired on her greatly.
Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., said Thursday that some “nut job” sent suspicious packages with potential bombs to high-profile Democrats, brushing off complaints that President Trump’s pointed rhetoric is to blame.
“About the nut-job sending bombs in the mail –- Simply put, this is NOT the way we do business in America,” Graham tweeted. “I didn’t blame Bernie Sanders when a Bernie supporter shot Congressman Steve Scalise. And I’m not going to blame President Trump for this nut job.”
Ms. Lindsey no gay man with an ounce of self-respect will ever fuck you.
Melania Trump has raised a fair share of eyebrows since she launched her pet project, Be Best, because it aims, in part, to combat cyberbullying — with critics accusing her husband, President Trump, of being one of Twitter’s most egregious offenders.
But the first lady shrugged off charges of hypocrisy to promote her anti-bullying initiative during this month’s solo trip to Ghana, Malawi, Kenya, and Egypt. Now a newly released interview excerpt shows the first lady defending her work with Be Best for a personal reason: She sees herself as a victim of bullying.
“I could say I’m the most bullied person on the world,” she told Llamas. “One of them — if you really see what people [are] saying about me.”
Melania. It’s not bullying if saying that you are a soulless gold-digging whore is the actual truth.
