NYC – March 7, 1969: CBS News Televises Anti-Gay Propaganda “The Homosexuals” Hosted by Mike Wallace – [FULL VIDEO]

Two years before the Stonewall Riots on March 7th, 1967, CBS Reports presented an  hour-long broadcast “documentary”  about homosexuality hosted by Mike Wallace called “The Homosexuals”

Taking three years to make, principal filming took place starting in the fall of 1964 and continued through early 1965.  Gay men were interviewed in San Francisco, Philadelphia, Charlotte and New York City. The identities of several of the men were obscured, either in shadow or, in one instance, behind a large potted palm tree.

Also interviewed were psychiatrist Charles Socarides, who strongly advocated the position that homosexuality is a mental disorder, and fellow psychiatrist Irving Bieber, who shared Socarides’ opinion of homosexuality as pathology. Interspersed with these interview segments was footage cinema verité style, of the inside of a gay bar along with shots of hustlers working a street corner and of all things a gay teenager being arrested in a public sex sting..

Charles Socarides, said when he was he interviewed  ‘There is no such thing as a happy homosexual’; ‘these homosexuals are by nature unable to form steady relationships, rather their prerogative is a series of one-night-stands and hookups’.  Socarides was one of many professional homophobic bigot psychiatrists of the day who earned virtually their entire living by promoting homophobia. (In a sublime irony of history, Socarides’s son, Richard Socarides, is openly gay; he served as a public policy advisor in the Clinton White House.)

And almost all of  Mike Wallace’s commentary echoed  Socarides disparaging views of  homosexuals.

The average homosexual, if there be such, is promiscuous. He is not interested or capable of a lasting relationship like that of a heterosexual marriage. His sex life, his love life, consists of a series of one–chance encounters at the clubs and bars he inhabits. And even on the streets of the city — the pick-up, the one night stand, these are characteristics of the homosexual relationship.

For his part, Wallace came to regret his participation in “The Homosexuals”. “I should have known better,” he said in 1992. Speaking in 1996, Wallace stated, “That is — God help us — what our understanding was of the homosexual lifestyle a mere twenty-five years ago because nobody was out of the closet and because that’s what we heard from doctors — that’s what Socarides told us, it was a matter of shame.”

LGBT activist Wayne Besen of Truth Wins Out labels the broadcast “the single most destructive hour of anti-gay propaganda in our nation’s history. ” and that “The Homosexuals’ not only had a devastating effect on public opinion at the time but also was a nuclear bomb dropped on the psyches of gay and lesbian Americans, who, prior to this show, had never been represented as a group on national television.”

The anti-gay arguments made in “The Homosexuals” in 1967 are still used today by right-wing extremist and “Christians” who seek to harm and destroy the LGBT Community today.

“The Homosexuals” is a must watch shows how the past still affects the present and our equality to this very day.

Boys Beware was a short PSA film produced by Sid Davis productions in 1959 on the suggestion of the Inglewood Police Department in Southern California. It was ostensibly was made to warn young boys of the danger of predatory men on purpose.

What Jimmy didn’t know was the Ralph was sick. A sickness not visible like smallpox, but no less dangerous and contagious- a sickness of the mind. You see Ralph was a homosexual, a person who demands an intimate relationship with members of their own sex.”

At one point in time Boys Beware was required viewing for males in many school districts across the country.

Biysk Teenager First Minor Arrested Under Russia’s Anti-Gay ‘Propaganda’ Laws

A teenager has become the first minor to be prosecuted under Russia’s strict “gay propaganda” laws which were mandated by Vladimir Putin.

Maxim Neverov, a 16-year-old from the city of Biysk, was reportedly fined £50,000 rubles (£580) by a court, according to campaign group the Russian LGBT Network.

The organisation said a police report filed in July claimed the teenager had posted several images of “partly nude” men on the social network VKontakte.

“Maxim Neverov points to the absurdity of the fact that the proceedings for propaganda among minors were initiated against a minor, but he expected such a decision,” the network said in a statement.

“Maxim Neverov is 16 years old; he is a schoolchild.”

The teenager’s lawyer, Artem Lapov, said the decision by the court violated his client’s right to freedom of expression.

The Russian LGBT Network, who provided Maxim’s lawyer, said authorities may have pursued charges following the teenager’s involvement in an event called “Gays or Putin”.

He and other organizers reportedly submitted 12 applications to hold events around Biysk, all of which were rejected by the city.

In a documentary program called “The Homosexual” that aired on WTVJ in Miami in 1966 Florida Detective John Sorenson of the Dade County Sheriff’s Department of Morals and Juvenile Squad terrorizes an auditorium of 8th graders on the dangers of “turning queer.”

Detective Sorenson warned his audience:

There may be some in this auditorium. There may be some here today that will be homosexual in the future. There are a lot of kids here. There may be some girls that will turn lesbian. We don’t know. But it’s serious, don’t kid yourselves about it. They can be anywhere. They can be judges, lawyers; we oughta know we’ve arrested all of them. So if any one of you have let yourself become involved with an adult homosexual or with another boy and you’re doing this on a regular basis you better stop quick because one out of three of you will turn queer. And if we catch you involved with a homosexual, your parents are going to know about it first. And you will be caught; don’t think you won’t be caught. Because this is one thing you cannot get away with. This is one thing if you don’t get caught by us, you’ll be caught by yourself and the rest of your life will be a living hell.”

Sorenson also once, stated “I would rather see any of my children dead than homosexual… and for that reason I feel there is no cure and because of the complete degenerecy of these people. They appear on the surface to be respectable, but they’re the lowest forms of people.”

By now Det. John Sorenson must himself be dead and that is just fine with me.

The latest anti-gay propaganda from Family Research Council hate group leader and linked white supremacist Herr Tony Perkins:

Under Barack Obama, world leaders were furious with the way the president used the State Department to export his LGBT agenda globally. Trump’s predecessor not only sent openly gay ambassadors into countries that are culturally opposed to homosexuality, they used foreign aid to bully other nations into accepting Obama’s twisted agenda.

He flew rainbow flags over our embassies in Muslim countries and appointed a special taxpayer-funded LGBT envoy whose sole purpose was forcing the president’s radical social agenda on reluctant countries. Under both Kerry and Hillary Clinton, DOS changed the rules for same-sex diplomats and openly demonized other countries that refused to recognize homosexuality as an international “human right.”

The Evangelical Association of the Caribbean was so outraged by the Obama administration’s harassment that when Donald Trump was elected, church leaders across the region pleaded with Donald Trump to stop using the State Department to browbeat the world into submission on issues that are still fiercely controversial in most of the world.

“We were coerced into accepting [the administration’s LGBT] agenda,” Pastor Paul Mursalin told me last year, “threatening fund withdrawal and a number of other things. And our governments are under severe pressure to relent. We now see a ray of hope under President Trump and Vice President Pence, where some of this can be reversed and give us a chance to maintain our traditional conservative Christian values on the issue.”

Mike Pompeo is that ray of hope. It’s unfortunate that a shill for the Human Rights Campaign like Cory Booker would smear a good man simply because he disagrees on an issue that still divides most of America.

Gay Chechnya Refugee Who Disappeared For Months Now Claims Anti-Gay Purge Is A Lie

A gay male refugee from Chechnya has gone on state TV months after mysteriously disappearing to say sorry for being a ‘disgrace’ to the republic for claiming that he had been threatened and blackmailed in Chechnya after coming out as gay.

The story of Movsar Eskerhanov began when the kidnappers forced the young man to confess to sexual orientation in the camera due to the fact that Eskerhanov could not pay them 200 thousand rubles, which the criminals requested for not showing the video to anyone.  The kidnappers posted the video and the young man was forced to flee in Stavropol Krai, and then in Moscow. Eskerhanov later went to Germany to request political asylum because of the history

Movsar Eskerhanov told TIME magazine earlier this year that he feared for his life in the country which has arrested and tortured over 200 people have this year alone for being gay with some other men missing to never be seen again and who are presumed dead.

Eskerhanov remained at a German refugee camp where other Chechens recognized him and attacked him.

Later he was refused asylum by the German government.

Not long after that Eskerhanov mysteriously disappeared for months until earlier this week, when he resurfaced on state television for an investigation by Chechen government-controlled news network Grozny on the countries anti-gay purge.

Suddenly, Eskerhanov claims that he was set up by the media and framed to say he was gay before claiming that his coming out was made under the effects of epilepsy medication.

He said: “They disgraced me before the Chechen people and the Chechen leader, I was framed. That’s why I apologize to the residents of Chechnya, the leadership of Chechnya, the Chechens living in the North Caucasus and Europe.”

Chechens who criticize the republic’s leader, Ramzan Kadyrov, are routinely forced to give televised apologies, leading many to surmise that Eskerhanov disappearance was in fact a reprogramming  detention with torture and threats and that his apology was coerced and  that he is doing it to keep his family safe and himself alive.

European Court Finds Russia’s ‘Gay Propaganda Law” Violates the European Convention on Human Rights.

The European Court has ruled that Russia discriminated against three gay rights activists who opposed the law. It was adopted in 2013, banning promotion of homosexuality among people under 18.

The law “reinforced stigma and prejudice and encouraged homophobia”, the ruling said.

Under the law, private individuals promoting “homosexual behaviour among minors” face fines of up to 5,000 roubles (£67; $85), while officials risk paying 10 times that amount. Businesses and schools can be fined up to 500,000 roubles.

Homosexuality was decriminalized in Russia in 1993, but anti-gay prejudice is rife.

The Strasbourg court said the fines imposed on three Russian gay rights activists violated Article 10 (freedom of expression) and Article 14 (prohibition of discrimination) of the European Convention on Human Rights.

According to the court, the legislation aimed at curbing promotion of homosexuality was “not clearly defined” and was implemented in an arbitrary way. It “served no legitimate public interest”, the court said.

The three activists had been found guilty for protesting against the law in 2009-2012 – outside a secondary school in Ryazan, a children’s library in Archangel and an administrative building in St Petersburg.

The court rejected the Russian government’s claim that such a law was needed to protect morality.

It found that the government had “failed to demonstrate how freedom of expression on LGBT issues would devalue or otherwise adversely affect actual and existing ‘traditional families’ or would compromise their future”.

Such laws, the judges said, “embodied a predisposed bias on the part of a heterosexual majority against a homosexual minority”.

They ordered Russia to pay each of the activists damages of between €8,000 (£7,000; $8,900) and €20,000.

Scott Lively Russian Propaganda Documentary

Back in 2014, religious extremist and anti-gay activist Scott Lively appeared in a virulently anti-LGBT propaganda documentary titled “Sodom” that aired on Russian television.

The film was produced by famously anti-gay TV host Arkady Mamontov, who once implied that the Chelyabinsk meteorite explosion was caused by the gay rights movement. The film aired on Rossiya-1, Russia’s main government-funded TV channel.

“For American homosexuals, this man, Scott Lively, is public enemy number one,” intones the film’s narrator. On camera, Lively speaks about the gay “agenda,” which seeks “anti-discrimination policy” in the name of ultimate “societal conquest.” Lively insists that “The average American is not in favor of homosexuality. But they are afraid to speak publicly about it, because the gays have so much power and they can do harm to those people.”

Lively brings the film’s producers to the headquarters of the Human Rights Campaign in Washington, DC. Set against a dramatic soundtrack, Lively paces outside. “This organization, instead of focusing on the true needs of people around the world, they are trying to declare that homosexuality is a human right,” Lively says. “They spend vast amounts of money to promote this agenda around the world instead of defending genuine human rights.”

Lively publicly advocates that the U.S. follow Russia’s lead and ban “homosexual propaganda” aimed at children, something he partially takes credit for.

“The beauty of the Russian law is it cuts right to the heart of the real problem of LGBT advocacy: the recruitment of children. What I mean by recruitment of children is not primarily the sexual exploitation of young people by adult homosexuals, though that represents a dark current within the larger “gay” culture, especially among the men. What I mean is the normalization of homosexual conduct and culture to children and youths, leading them to engage in homosexual experimentation among themselves and subsequently self-identify as “gay.” An entire generation of American, British and Canadian children has been enslaved to this corrupt culture and ideology through the very propaganda that Russia has now banned.”

Lively coauthored the ridiculous 1995 book the The Pink Swastika , a book that argues that gay Nazis inspired the Holocaust because Judaism forbids homosexuality. In 2007, Lively went on a 50-city tour of Russia and other ex-Soviet republics to warn of the “homosexual agenda.” In 2009, he gave a five-hour presentation on Ugandan national television calling homosexuality a disease and claiming that gays aggressively recruit children and was instrumental in crafting  Uganda’s “Death to Gays” tone in the name of “Christianity”

Scott Lively is currently on trial, facing a lawsuit accusing him of a crime against humanity in Uganda., According to a frantic message he posted on his website in January of this year he is also broke.

Mission: America Hate Shrew Linda Harvey: Gay Men Want To Sexually Abuse Kids To Covert Them

Welcome back to the 1970’s thanks to Columbus, OH  haus-frau, muckraker and president of officially listed hate group Mission: America, who this week channels her best Anita Bryant imitation to claim that gay men want to sexually abuse children in order to turn them gay and “convert” them to the LGBT rights cause. In her latest column for WorldWingnutNetDaily  Harvey puffs up her hair and sucks on an orange by posting a piece entitled “They’re creating ‘gays’ by corrupting our kids.” and recycles rhetoric by arguing that “the correlation between child molestation and the development of same-sex attraction for some youth is irrefutable.”

“Children, if asked, would really prefer not to be lured somewhere by a shady adult, shown pornography, given alcohol or drugs, told they ‘want this’ and were ‘born this way’ and end up in intimate contact they never chose, contact that messes with their body and soul and may take a lifetime to overcome. “Many recover, but some go on to embrace these premature, perverted desires. Some even become advocates for overturning marriage and civil rights law to enshrine homosexuality and gender rebellion as norms. “The movement for ‘LGBT equality’ is largely built on this quicksand. All of America is endangered if we bless the rotten fruits of criminal conduct against children. Are we insane? “It’s time America called the homosexual activists on their Stockholm syndrome. They were not born this way, but created through sexual indoctrination. “A vulnerable boy may be seduced by an uncle, cousin, or the guy down the street. Or if he is somehow persuaded he was ‘born that way,’ he may then show up at the local community center for ‘gay’ youth where he’ll meet older homosexuals who will take advantage of his youth and misinformation.”

That being said since most child abuse is heterosexual, I guess that explains why there are so many straight people? They’ve been converted! As for Linda Harvey there are plenty of bakeries in Columbus, OH.  So if she’s going to use historical anti-gay propaganda, perhaps a re-creation of a historical action against the anti-gay bigot is called for.
