*A pastor at a high school in the Okeechobee County School District is facing allegations that he was engaged in an inappropriate romantic connection with a student at the school. According to the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office, Donny Raney, age 36, was taken into custody on Tuesday and put into the Okeechobee County Jail. #NotADragQueen

*A Saskatoon priest has been placed on administrative leave following sexual assault allegations involving a minor. Police arrested a 69-year-old man on Wednesday and charged him with sexual assault following a complaint by the mother of a 13-year-old girl. #NotADragQueen

*An Indiana woman has been charged with a federal hate crime for a racially motivated attack and stabbing of a woman of Chinese descent on a public transit bus.  #NotADragQueen

*The federal district judge who first suspended the US Food and Drug Administration’s approval of the so-called abortion pill mifepristone failed to disclose during his Senate confirmation process two interviews on Christian talk radio where he discussed social issues such as contraception and gay rights. In undisclosed radio interviews, Matthew Kacsmaryk referred to being gay as “a lifestyle” and expressed concerns that new norms for “people who experience same-sex attraction”. #NotADragQueen

A former employee of the international New York based events company Eventique claims he was degraded and his play was slashed to match “other females in the office,” once his boss learned he was gay. 

In a lawsuit filed this week, Wesley Wereneck says he was abused. suffered discrimination. rampant homophobia, and was fired from his position at Eventique – which stages promotional events for companies including Nike, Twitter And Amazon.

“Wesley was personally recruited by this employer to be a senior producer, and once he learned he was gay, the employer began shutting him out of the business,” said Wernecke’s lawyer, Anthony Consiglio

Wesley says a week after being hired in June, co-workers made snide comments about his engagement ring, calling it “girly”. When asked if his wife wore a similar ring, Wernecke told them his partner, Evan, did.

After that he was excluded from meetings and social events, passed over for assignments with large commissions and subjected to discriminatory anti-gay remarks.

Finally, Wesley claims he was called into CEO Henry Liron David s office and told his salary was being cut by more than 50 percent, from US$145,000 to $70,000.

“I couldn’t sleep at night thinking that you were being paid so much more than the other females in the office,” David allegedly to have told Wernecke. The CEO, the complaint alleges, “simply could not bear the thought that Eventique would continue to be represented by a gay man”.

Not long after, Wesley discovered that David had lowered his salary even more, to $58,000 or 40 percent less than the starting salary he was promised when he left his former job, the lawsuit says.

He was then fired two weeks later.

Henry Liron David’s lawyer, Gena Zaiderman, claimed that he denies the ‘shocking and baseless’ allegations.

‘Mr. David firmly stands by his long-standing reputation for fairness and professionalism. We expect that the facts will be revealed in due course,’ the lawyer said in a statement.

15 people, including five women, and two gay men were punished with public caning Friday for violating Sharia law in Indonesia’s conservative Aceh province.

Two men accused of being gay received 87 lashes each for gay sex, while nine others were sentenced up to 26 lashes for adultery. Four people, one of whom is female, were lashed 27 times for being drunk.

In video of the punishment seen by CNN, people can be heard jeering as the detainees, who are wearing white, traditional koko shirts, are brought up to the scaffold in front of the mosque.

Others took cellphone video of the punishment being administered by a hooded man while a voice counts the strokes over a loudspeaker. At one point a uniformed official appears to instruct the masked whipper where to land the blow.

The two men whipped for homosexuality Friday aren’t the first — last May two men were lashed 83 times for the same offense.

Muhammad Hidayat, the Sharia police chief, said that homosexuality was widely reviled in the deeply religious state, and that his police force would carry out the prosecution of violations of Sharia equally, without favoring officials.

North Carolina Waiter Fired After Sharing Anti-Gay Comments Written On Credit Card Receipt

Adding insult to injury the restaurant chain Hickory Tavern fired a gay waiter from its  in Indian Trail restaurant in Union County, NC after the waiter shared a copy of a check receipt that had anti-gay comments scrawled on it despite the fact that all of the customer information was redacted.

““Our gay waiter made me wanna throw up my food!” the patron wrote on the Nov. 30 receipt “Ruined my experience tonigth. Will not be back!”

After the Observer emailed the restaurant chain on Tuesday to confirm the authenticity of the receipt and that the server had been fired, Hickory Tavern released a statement confirming the firing and that “insults” aimed at the server had been left on a receipt.

“We strongly condemn the insults directed at one of our team members in remarks left by a patron on their credit card receipt,” Hickory Tavern said. “We value diversity and do not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, sexual orientation or for any other reason. We also value the privacy of our patrons, and posting of credit card receipts violates our confidentiality policy.

“Although the team member was initially terminated for violating this policy, after further discussions with the team member, we made the decision to offer his job back. We strive to strike the right balance between supporting our team members and protecting the private information of our guests.”

Lucia Stetson, another patron of the restaurant also posted a copy of the receipt on Facebook on Sunday, saying: “A sweet young man was fired from his server job at Hickory Tavern after sharing a bigoted note left by a customer. Let’s help him find a new job.” Her post has been shared over 1600 times.

British Marine Claims He Was ‘Forced to Masturbate to Gay Porn” As Punishment

Corporal Danny Foster, and corporal Philip Beer,  are on trial at Portsmouth Military Court in England for ill-treatment of a subordinate after a lower ranked service member stepped forward and claimed that the two forced fellow marines to watch gay porn and masturbate in front of others as part of a bizarre punishment.

The “punishment” incidents are alleged to have happened between May and August 2014 at Faslane and Coulport naval bases in Argyll.

“You could be punished for anything starting from just leaving a pen lid on the floor up to operational things like not turning on your radio while on patrol. ‘A senior marine would stand at the front and would ask if there were any integrity shouts – which meant you would own up to a mistake you had made.” said one Marine.

According to testimony on the first occasion, there had been a map reading test which was made too hard and so a number of people failed. ‘We got lined up at the front of the room during family time and the corporals, who were at the back, were talking about what they would make us do. ‘They all laughed when Corporal Foster said we should wank to gay porn.  “I told Foster I wasn’t going to do it but he said to me ‘you fucking are’. ‘The porn was military themed porn, the men had berets on and people were watching us – we were told the last person to ejaculate would get another punishment. ‘I felt disgusted and degraded having to do it, it was massively degrading, I had no power against it; I could not say no.’

Foster denies the ill treatment of a subordinate.

Two vloggers from ChebuRussiaTV,  a popular Russian YouTube channel which bills itself as “a project based solely on our enthusiasm and only positive intentions. Our purpose – to give people positive emotions and provide motivation to commit new crazy feats! Prank, social experiments.” Conducted a hidden camera experiment that in which the two held hands and walked down the streets of Moscow and taped the outward anti-gay reactions of Russian citizens which ranged from curses to physical violence.

MOROCCO: Two Man Sentenced To 3 Years In Jail For Having Gay Sex

On December 23rd.  a court in the country of Morocco sentenced two men to three years in prison, the maximum sentence for “homosexual practices”, the maximum penalty under the law. The ruling was fast-tracked by the court were found having sex on  Dec. 13.

Back in December retired magazine publisher Ray Cole a British tourist  as arrested and charged with committing homosexual acts back in September.

Cole described the conditions of being in a Moroccan jail as “a concentration camp”.

Both male and female same-sex sexual activity is illegal in Morocco. Morocco’s statute and culture towards LGBT issues stands in stark contrast to neighboring Spain.

Lawsuit Filed Against South Carolina School District After Teacher Harasses Gay Teen

A lawsuit has been brought against the Charleston County School District after  West Ashley High School math teacher bullied and harassed a gay student in front of his classmates, resulting in the student’s attempted suicide.

The teacher repeatedly called the student “gay”, “gay boy”, and other names while the student was in front of his peers, and encouraged the victim’s classmates to join in on the name-calling and told the victim’s classmates that the student was in a homosexual relationship with another male classmate, and that they were “boyfriend and girlfriend”.

The lawsuit claims the school district was grossly negligent in failing to properly supervise the teacher, and failing to take steps which would have prevented, discovered, and stopped the teacher’s behavior.

The victim’s family is suing the school district for past, present and future damages associated with pain and suffering, mental anguish, the alteration of lifestyle, and past and future medical bills.

Not surprisingly though according to CCSD spokesperson Jason Sakran, the teacher is still employed by the school district.

In my opinion horsewhipping is too good for the adult teacher that did this to this poor teenager.

 

Four Men Sue Perverse Ex-Gay Jewish Therapy Group JONAH For Mental Torture – Video

Four gay men with the help of the Southern Poverty Law Center are suing the NJ “ex-gay” organization JONAH (Jews Offering New Alternatives to Healing) for fraud and mental torture

AP reports:

Three of the men at the news conference are Jewish, and the fourth is a Mormon now living in Salt Lake City who was a college student in New York when he signed up for the services.

Speaking for the men at Tuesday’s news conference were attorneys from the Southern Poverty Law Center, a Montgomery, Ala.-based civil rights organization.

“JONAH profits off of shameful and dangerous attempts to fix something that isn’t broken,” said Christine P. Sun, the center’s deputy legal director. “Despite the consensus of mainstream professional organizations that conversion therapy doesn’t work, this racket continues to scam vulnerable gay men and lesbians out of thousands of dollars and inflicts significant harm on them.”

The therapy, which can cost up to $10,000 a year, put them at risk of “depression, anxiety and self-destructive behavior,” while giving them no benefits, the suit said.

In 2010 Truth Wins Out released a video  in which Ben Unger and Chaim Levin, blasted JONAH’s lead therapist Alan Downing, accusing Downing of a “psychological striptease” in which he watched them disrobe and touch their bodies

Jo Bruck, Sheldon’s mother, and Bella Levin, the mother of plaintiff Chaim Levin, are also plaintiffs because they paid for their sons’ conversion therapy and the counseling the suit said they needed to recover from it.  But personally in my opinion these “mothers” shouldn’t be plaintiffs but should be defendants for putting their children through such trauma and abuse.

I applaud the lawyer for representing the plaintiffs and  the for gay men themselves for standing up and exposing these sick organizations and hopefully putting JONAH out of business through court costs alone if nothing else and exposing such dangerous quack ex-gay reparative therapy groups to the world.
