Via email blast from hate group leader Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council:
Blowing up the filibuster wouldn’t just end debate and bipartisanship, it would open an express lane to the Left’s most evil policies: the Equality Act, H.R. 1, permanent and unlimited abortion, gun control, open borders, amnesty, Medicare for All, D.C. statehood, and every other horrible idea on Joe Biden’s wish list.
This is a critical moment in our nation’s history. Everything that’s happening in Georgia, in woke corporate America, in the cancel culture, and the far-Left all traces back to this one Democratic goal: destroying a 100-year Senate tradition that paves the way to permanent power.
We cannot wait until the next election to fight this. We need to be praying now. Join Tony Perkins, Senator Young, and Pastor Jim Garlow as we bring our nation before the Lord and ask Him to intervene and protect us from the Left’s wicked schemes.
Let them pray all they like. Sometimes the answer is “no” but we have to work to make it “no” and for HR 1 and the Equality Act to pass.

The Fourth of July is a time of national celebration and commemoration. We rejoice in our liberty and remember those who won our freedoms and have preserved them at great cost. Yet underlying these things is a foundation that must remain strong for “liberty and justice for all” to mean anything.
It’s the rule of law. Law that is fair and impartial, consistent and understandable. Without allegiance to the rule of law, we become a nation where those in power can do what they want without accountability. And in this 244th year of our independence, I fear we are on the brink of that happening.
Last month, the court ruled in the case of Bostock v. Clayton County, Georgia that the 1964 Civil Rights Act opposing discrimination based on the biological sex of an individual now must mean that “discrimination based on homosexuality or transgender status necessarily entails discrimination based on sex.”
Justice Neil Gorsuch, who wrote these words, even acknowledges in his decision that the meaning of “sex” in 1964 was not even vaguely connected to homosexuality or transgenderism. In his words, the court “proceeds on the assumption that ‘sex’,” in 1964, referred “only to biological distinctions between male and female.”
America has never been a perfect nation and never will be. But with all our problems, we have made tremendous progress in securing the God-given rights we too often take for granted.
But the exercise of those rights will be increasingly diminished and put in jeopardy if Congress refuses to safeguard them and, instead, allows the Supreme Court to rule however its justices prefer, regardless of the text of the Constitution and the law itself.
There is concern among our pro-family allies around the world that Ambassador Grenell will engage in LGBT activism as Acting Director of National Intelligence, a cabinet-level position. An effort to impose the same redefinition of marriage upon other nations that was imposed upon Americans by an activist Supreme Court would be reminiscent of the cultural imperialism of the Obama administration.
Eight countries permit the death penalty for homosexuality — most of them also known as abusers of religious freedom and other rights, and supporters of terrorism. An end to those laws, and other physical punishments such as flogging, is a legitimate goal.
But that does not mean we should engage in ‘cultural imperialism’ by imposing policies that were imposed upon us by our own Supreme Court on other countries with different cultures, traditions, and values. Let’s find common ground in calling for an end to all forms of physical violence against homosexuals — but let’s refrain from imposing the values of the sexual revolution on the rest of the world.
With the passage of the LGBT Equality Act in the House of Representatives so comes the crazy propaganda and criticisms from anti-gay hate group leaders.
First up we have Family Research Council president and white supremacist Tony Perkins via press release:
As the Equality Act (H.R. 5) just passed in the U.S. House of Representatives, I remind you, that this is an all-out assault on parental rights, on the family, and on the millions of people of faith in this country. The legislation goes far beyond just quarantining faith behind the four walls of a house of worship.
This act quarantines faith within your mind and says that’s where it must stay. It creates a world that punishes those who exercise their freedom to believe and live according to those beliefs. No institution or person of faith, be it a school, church, synagogue, mosque, business, or non-profit will escape its Orwellian reach.
The Religious Freedom Restoration Act will be committed to the “memory hole.” We will then experience a catastrophic loss of religious freedom in America, and, as a result, every American, those who believe and do not believe, will suffer the consequences. The American people must continue to speak with great force and clarity in opposition to the “In-equality” Act.
The U.S. House passed 236-173 HR 5, misnamed the “Equality Act,” with eight Republicans voting in favor and no Democrats voting against it. The eight Republicans are: Susan Brooks (IN-05); Brian Fitzpatrick (PA-01); Elise Stefanik (NY-21); Greg Walden (OR-02); John Katko (NY-24); Mario Diaz-Balart (FL-25); Tom Reed (NY-23); and Will Hurd (TX-23).
“No one who voted for the misnamed ‘Equality Act’ deserves to serve in Congress,” said Mat Staver, Founder and Chairman of Liberty Counsel. “This bill destroys the fundamental religious freedom on which America was founded.”
“This bill is unpatriotic and dangerous. The misnamed ‘Equality Act’ has nothing to do with equality and is the most serious threat to life and liberty ever proposed by Congress. This bill needs to be stopped in the Senate. If this bill becomes law, the consequences are staggering,” said Staver.
And last but not least we have a crazy rant from the “Christian Crypt Keeper” himself Pat Robertson of the 700 Club himself who claims that God will “vomit” & “get rid of” America if the Equality Act passes into law.
This is a devastating blow to religious freedom and to the sanctity of America.
If you want to bring the judgment of God on this nation, you just keep this stuff up. You know, I was reading in Leviticus where it said, ‘Because of these things, the land will vomit you out.’ Vomit you out. I think God will say, ‘I’ve had it with America, if you do this kind of stuff, I’m going to get rid of you as a nation.
There is plenty of stuff that is going on, when you look at the potential of atomic war, when you look at the potential of a solar strike or something on our grid, you could go down the line of devastation that could happen to our nation. We don’t want that. We want the blessing of God, not the curse of God
Via press release from Family Research Council hate group leader Tony Perkins:
It wasn’t enough that House Democrats put the transgender pride flag outside their offices — now they’re trying to plant one in U.S. law too. If you like the idea of your daughter changing in front of a teenage boy, financing your employees’ sex changes, abolishing girls’ sports, and getting fired for using the wrong pronoun, then boy, does Speaker Nancy Pelosi have the bill for you.
Liberals call it the Equality Act, but as yesterday’s hearing made quite clear, the only equal thing about it is how much damage it does to every facet of American life. Democrats will insist this is about ending discrimination, when it’s really about punishing anyone who disagrees with their fanatical LGBT agenda. For liberals like Pelosi, this is the ultimate prize after years of feigning concern for things like freedom and conscience.
Once the Left gets its hands on the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the nine other laws this bill would rewrite, gender identity and sexual orientation will be the most protected classes in America. Gone would be the centuries of religious liberty, open debate, and free speech. As far as the Left is concerned, those are just the price of “tolerance.”
Perkins forget to mention that “religion” is also protected under the 1964 Equality Act so even “faux Christians” like himself and his “faux Christian” hate group are covered and protected.
Via histrionic press release from Family Research Council hate group leader Tony “Princess Tiny Meat” Perkins:
“It’s going to take some clever strategists to get liberals out of the box they’ve put themselves in for 2020. In a field of Green Deal-infanticide-open borders-socialists, Joe Biden actually seemed like a semi-moderate choice for voters. That all fell apart last Friday, when he apologized for throwing a lukewarm compliment Mike Pence’s way. Now, Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) is piling on, proving that she may have less civility in her blood than Native American ancestors.
When she was asked what she thought about Biden’s reversal, Warren said, “I’m sorry. I followed Pence’s history on LGBTQ Americans, and I don’t think that is a decent position. I disagree.” When it came time to distinguish between the position and the man, Warren couldn’t. What about Pence as a person? Does she believe he’s “decent,” reporters pressed? “No,” Warren replied.
Every voter needs to follow this thinking to its logical conclusion — and not just on marriage or sexuality, but on abortion too. Democrats like Joe Biden and Elizabeth Warren aren’t just taking an opposing view. They’re degrading the actual people who disagree with their positions. That’s exactly how repressive and tyrannical regimes start. They dehumanize their enemies so they can push them aside, persecute them, and ultimately eliminate them.”
In a nutshell. Tony Perkins who has spent his life dehumanizing people complains about dehumanizers being dehumanized.
In efforts to appease fits of manufactured conservative rage over the moderation of hateful content on social media platforms, Facebook and Twitter have relied on the advice of anti-LGBTQ extremists and far-right grifters “to help them figure out who should be banned and what’s considered unacceptable.”
As reported by The Wall Street Journal, Facebook sought out the advice of right-wing groups including extremists like the virulently anti-LGBTQ Family Research Council (FRC) and its president, Tony Perkins. Perkins has compared same-sex marriage to incest, blamed marriage equality and abortion for a destructive hurricane, and called pedophilia a “homosexual problem.”
He is clearly not equipped to be an arbitrator on content that oppresses, harassed, and erases minorities. Perkins, along with FRC, has actively opposed LGBTQ equality around the world, supporting a law in Uganda that could have punished “repeat offenders” of same-sex sexual activity with the death penalty, and collaborating with a hate group that worked to pass Russia’s “gay propaganda” law. Domestically, Perkins also called for the State Department to stop supporting LGBTQ rights after President Donald Trump was elected.
As if the LGBT community needed another reason to hate Facebook.
Via press release from hate group leader Tony Perkins:
In recent years, efforts by LGBT activists to insert “sexual orientation” and “gender identity” (“SOGI”) as specially protected categories in the law have continued at the state and local levels, but they have not made much progress in Congress.
With Democrats taking over the House in 2019, that may change. We can expect a renewed push for the sweeping and extreme bill called the “Equality Act.” Some members of Congress may even respond by proposing an ill-conceived compromise, dubbed “Fairness for All,” that combines a SOGI law with limited religious liberty protections.
In anticipation of these debates, FRC has already produced a new publication with a concise explanation of Why “Sexual Orientation” and “Gender Identity” Should Never Be Specially Protected Categories Under the Law.
For example, the paper distinguishes constitutional rights — which belong to every citizen equally — from the special protections granted by “non-discrimination laws.” Such laws always increase government interference in the free market, and SOGI laws do so for the sake of characteristics completely unlike those found in Civil Rights Act of 1964.
Because they involve a large element of chosen behavior, “sexual orientation” and “gender identity” differ from traits that are clearly inborn, involuntary, and immutable, such as “race, color,” and “sex.” And unlike “religion,” they have no foundation in the text of the Constitution.
Hit the HATE LINK below to see the disgusting paper written by Family Research Council’s Peter Sprig that claims that federal non-discrimination laws: ” could mandate the employment of persons who identify as homosexual or transgender in inappropriate occupations ” and other crazy hateful statements written with tax free money because the FRC is a 501{c} tax exempt organization
Via press release from FRC hate group leader Tony Perkins:
The Democrats, who won control of the House of Representatives, voted to elect Nancy Pelosi as Speaker. The liberal Democratic party leader will be second in succession to the President, after Vice President Mike Pence.
Pelosi has a reputation for toughness. Despite the checks and balances of a 53-seat Republican majority in the Senate and President Trump’s veto power, Pelosi will still have a great deal of power. In fact, Pelosi promised back in October that the introduction and passage of the Equality Act that was introduced in 2018 with 198 co-sponsors (which included two Republicans) would be a top priority in 2019 and would be introduced early.
The Equality Act would amend the 1964 Civil Rights Act to include “sex,” “sexual orientation,” and “gender identity” among expressly-recognized “non-discrimination” categories in “public accommodations,” require employers with 15 or more employees to recognize the claimed “gender identity” of those who identify as transgender, and require employers to allow those who identify as transgender to “access” opposite-sex restrooms, locker rooms, and dressing rooms.
Father, please open the eyes of all Americans to understand that religious liberty, which our original 13 states demanded be included as our first freedom in the Bill of Rights, must be honored above behavior which is immoral. Lord, expose the underlying intent of this effort — to punish Christians and others with a biblical view of marriage and human sexuality, and so to set a precedent from which to expand their persecutions under the guise of law. Deliver us, O God! (Ex 20:3; Ps 86:6-10; Dan 3:16-18; 6:10; Mt 5:10-12; Gal 5:1,13; Eph 4:1-6; Jude 3-25)
The only 2 GOP sponsors will not be returning to Congress in January and the LGBTEA has little to no chance of becoming law with the Senate being controlled by the GOP and with Trump as president.
This isn’t exactly the age of responsible journalism — so this weekend’s New York Times probably doesn’t surprise anyone. But for every American sick of fake news (and according to polls, that’s everyone), Sunday’s headline was one for the record books. “‘Transgender’ Could Be Defined out of Existence under Trump Administration,” the banner read, triggering mass hysteria in liberal quarters across the country. There’s just one problem: not one bit of it is true.
No one is “defining transgenders out of existence.” What President Trump is doing is following the law — which, after eight years of Barack Obama’s overreach, is suddenly a shocking concept. Under the last administration, liberals were so used to the president twisting the rules to suit the Left’s agenda that it’s news when Donald Trump decides to operate within the plain text of law. As far as the New York Times is concerned, the most “drastic” thing any president could do is bring America back in line with legal statutes. And this non-story that’s setting the far-Left’s hair on fire is nothing more than that.
In Sunday’s piece, a trio of reporters argues that the Trump administration is disenfranchising people by defining gender as it always has been: a “biological, immutable condition determined by genitalia at birth.” No one is quite sure how that’s radical, since it’s how the law has been understood both before and since 1964. Not a single president questioned it until Obama, who decided that he didn’t care what the Civil Rights Act said. He was going to “reinterpret” the 54-year-old law on “sex” discrimination to mean “sexual orientation” and gender identity too.
The Times’ agenda is obvious — painting Trump as the extremist, when the real radicalism was ignoring the law in the first place. Well, reporters may be out of practice with the truth these days, but it’s time they came to grips with one important reality. The president is not a legislator, no matter how much Obama acted like one. If they want America to change the way it defines discrimination, they need to start by asking the right branch of government.
Tony Perkins is the embodiment of the reality that “Christian” “conservatism” is not about the Bible or the Constitution – it’s about hatred and cruelty.
