Now I for one never knew that the United States had relations problems with the United Kingdom.

But that didn’t stop Mitt Romney and his advisors from visiting the United Kingdom and making remarks insensitive remarks about President Obama and suggesting that Romney was better placed to understand the depth of ties between the two countries than President Obama, because Obama’s father was born in Africa.

In Mitt Romney’s first foreign tour abroad Romney’s advisers told The Daily Telegraph that he would abandon President Obama’s “Left-wing” coolness towards London saying that “We are part of an Anglo-Saxon heritage, and he (Romney) feels that the relationship is special,”  adding: “The White   House didn’t fully appreciate the shared history we have.”

Romney also attacked President Obama on Tuesday over the “contemptible” alleged leak of secrets about the raid that killed Osama bin Laden.

After asking Romney’s advisors how policy towards Britain would differ under Mr Romney. One conceded that on the European crisis: “I’m not sure what our policy response is.” But Romney would seek to reinstate Winston Churchill’s bust displayed in the Oval Office by George W. Bush but returned to British diplomats by Mr Obama when he took office in 2009.

Romney and the GOP is the epitome of ugly Americans abroad.
