Back2Stonewall.com reader Chuck contacted Home Depot as soon as he received the American Family Association email blast Friday evening in which the anti-gay hate group claimed that The Home Depot has caved into its boycott of the last 2 years because of the home repair giants support for the LGBT community and causes.
Chuck, who keeps tabs on the AFA wrote to The Home Depot Corporate Ofices to ask if any of the AFA’s claims were true, and this was the reply he received:
We have never changed our commitment to diversity and inclusion of all
people, and we have no intention of doing so. Nor have we changed our
apron policy or the guidelines for our Foundation?s charitable giving.Sincerely,

So the AFA has lied. Shocking no. But for what ends? To cause trouble between the LGBT Community and Home Depot perhaps? Or just perhaps to make it seem to thier evil minions that they are winning a war that they can’t win so they can receive more right wing welfare donations.
Whatever it is its imperative as Chuck points out that Home Depot should be made aware of the support and thanks they have from the LGBT community for not giving into not to the AFA.
Let Home Depot know how you feel! Silence will only result in these changes actually being implemented.

Hi, I’m a Home Depot store manager in Toronto ON Canada and I can assure you of the companies support of our community. We support many HIV charities, have associate groups walk in the annual pride parade under the THD banner, and diversity and inclusion is a big part do our daily work life. These idiotic groups you have in the US are flat out a bunch of heathens and liars. give THD some credit of being one of the best LGBT community supporters.

Joanie, there are many wonderful people at home depot, it has zero to do with HD tho, just a lot of decent people have to work there. You’re welcome! Let’s reiterate – let Home Depot know that the community supports them so this hate group will not eventually force them to change their policies. They did it to McDonald’s, WalMart and other large corporations, so don’t give them any more power!

AFA is making millions doping the sheeple. AFA and One Million Moron Moms have to keep up the facade of “Disgusting Gays” or they will lose income from their followers. Monica Cole’s blast e-mails are now asking for “donations” of $100.00 (X 40,000 girls who cannot think for themselves = 4,000,000) for sitting at her computer sending out blast e-mails telling the sheeple how bad the world is and their only hope is to “take back America from those disgusting sinners.”
