Saudi Arabian Man Sentenced To 1000 Lashes, 1 Year In Jail And A $1.330 Fine For Posting Harmless Gay Themed YouTube Video

“A 27-year-old Saudi man from Jeddah has been sentenced to 1,000 lashes, a year in jail and a fine of 5,000 riyals ($1,330) after appearing in an amateur gay video (above). The film, which lasts 2 minutes and 46 seconds, shows him dressed in a police uniform asking to inspect someone’s driving licence and then flirtatiously demanding ‘physical comfort’ after saying the licence is expired. He later opens his shirt and rubs his chest, removes his cap flaunting his long hair and waves a gun suggestively.”\

Arab News says: “The video quickly spread online and through SMS… Attempts have been made to block the video from being viewed in Saudi Arabia.\

The man has not been officially named but he is named on the internet as Ahmad al-Faqih. He was arrested in January and reportedly tried in a closed court. He was charged with impersonating a police officer, committing a “general security” offence and being homosexual.

Absolutely reprehensible. pathetic. antiquated. and these people are our “allies”? The  Saudi government spokesmen wear suits, have Western accents and pretend to be civilized … while defending something as barbaric and medieval as this when in reality they are no more than animals.

Now imagine what the punishment would have been if he had kissed another man! We’re talking the typical beheading/hanging that is common in that part of the world. And yet, the flat earthers want to respect the cultural diversity that gives rise to that (and this) kind of barbarism. For its own sake (because every culture is equal, so goes the meme), apparently…which is sociopathic. They want to engage in outreach with muslims who believe that gays should be imprisoned, beaten, tortured and executed. If someone really believes that…you’re more than welcome to engage in outreach with them, but I’m more than welcome to consider you a fool and ignore your suggestions for achieving equality if it deals with embracing them whikle they torture us.

And where is  the International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission and Amnesty International on this and why haven’t they been protestng this loudly and in the mainstream news?
