Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe: Gays and Lesbians Are “Inhuman”

Mugabe

Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe is at it again.

Mugabe who has in the past has barbarically threatened behead gays and lesbians is keeping his hate speech alive and mentally un-well this time by referring to gays and lesbians as “inhuman.”

According to the Washington Blade:

“The West says we must accept there is change in the world, that gays have human rights,” he said during an event at a hotel in Harare, the country’s capital, that commemorated International Women’s Day as the Herald, a Zimbabwean newspaper, reported. “Gays have no human rights. They have human rights – human rights for doing an inhuman thing.”

While the Unuted States does have some “sanctions” in place against Zimbawe  it continues to be a leading provider of humanitarian assistance to the people of Zimbabwe. The United States provided over $300 million in 2009 and over $200 million in 2010 for humanitarian, food, health, and democracy and governance assistance to Zimbabwe.  In 2011, the United States continued to provide this level of assistance while also raising its commitment to fight HIV and AIDS in Zimbabwe by $10 million to a total of $57.5 million.

Zimbabwe President Mugabe Under Investigation For Crimes Against Humanity: “Gays Are Worse Than Dogs”

On February 14th’s a Crimes Against Humanity case was lauched in High Court in South Africa against high level Zimbabwean including President Robert Mugabe who in the past decades have used a combination of intimidation and patronage to prevent police officers, lawyers and judges to carry out independent investigations and trials of perpetrators of political violence and have caused survivors of political violence, torture and rape have been left without access to justice.

The case in question concerns Mugabe’s role in the torture committed after a police raid on the Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) headquarters in 2008.

But that didn’t stop the corrupt and evil Mugabe from using the  occasion of his 88th birthday party over the weekend as a venue to continue his deadly battle against gays and lesbians and speak out against “western” societies who embrace them.

Said Mugabe:

“We reject that outright and say to hell with you. You are free as a man to marry a woman, and that is what we follow.

“In their newspapers, that’s one of my sins — that I called [gays] ‘worse than pigs and dogs,’ because pigs know there are males and females, I won’t even call him a dog, because my own dog will complain.

You must go to the head of the imperialist and knock out his brain

The International Criminal Court Act obliges signatories to arrest and prosecute perpetrators of crimes against humanity, giving South Africa no choice but to arrest the perpetrators.

Mugabe’s case will be heard between 26 March and 30 March 2012.

Zimbabwean Prime Minister Lillian Kirenyi Jailed After Calling President Robert Mugabe a Homosexual

Mrs Lillian Kirenyi, a legislator from Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai’s Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) party has been arrested and charged with undermining the authority of President Mugabe by starting that Mugabe has had homosexual relations in the past.

“Zanu PF (President Mugabe’s party) members been attacking MDC president Tsvangirai alleging he is pro-homosexuals yet Robert Mugabe has practiced homosexuality with (Professor) Jonathan Moyo (former Information minister) and Canaan Banana (Zimbabwe’s first ceremonial president).”  Kirenyi, is reported to have said while addressing party supporters on December 9th.  The late Banana, who died in 2003, was jailed in 1999 after being found guilty of 11 counts of sodomy and abusing his power to engage in “unnatural acts” with men, including many who were on his presidential staff.

Mugabe has said in the past that homosexuals were “worse than pigs and dogs” and warned those practising in his country: “We will punish you severely.”

And yet Ms Mugabe has the nerve to wear the outfit in the photo above.

Zimbabwean President Mugabe Calls British PM David Cameron ‘Satanic’ For Backing Gay Rights

Zimbabwe recieves hundreds of dollars a year from foreign countries in aid and more than once the Zimbabwean government has been caught with its hands in the cookie jar more than once stealing money and diverting it from the poor which it was intended to help.

Afraid that he will be losing money to further build up his abusive regime Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe is upset that Britain which said earlier this year that it would increase annual aid to Zimbabwe to more than £100 million a year in an attempt to encourage fair elections and government reforms is putting tighter reigns and reforms on aid monies including the right to oversee where the monies go and  to talk to try to persuade the  government to not persecute  minorities within the country weather they be religious, disabled or gay.”

Britain has already cut aid to Malawi by £19 million following the sentencing of two gay men to 14 years hard labour. They were later pardoned.

Mugabe, has said the concept was “stupid” and that homosexuality was inconsistent with African and Christian values..

“It becomes worse and Satanic when you get a prime minister like Cameron saying countries that want British aid should accept homosexuality,” he said. “To come with that diabolical suggestion to our people is a stupid offer.”

Speaking to a group of young people at a community event in a mining town in Zimbabwe’s Midlands region Mugabe said of homosexuality “It is condemned by nature. It is condemned by insects and that is why I have said they are worse than pigs and dogs.”

Andrew Mitchell, the International Development Secretary states that human rights adherence is one of four requirements for governments seeking British aid, along with poverty reduction, good financial management and accountability to their citizens, and non-compliance would see aid money channelled to civil society groups and charities rather than cut altogether.

Which means less money directly to President Robert Mugabe and his goverment and out of thier deep thieving pockets and more money directly to civil society groups and charities in the country itself .
