Radical Islamic Group FPI Raids Jakarta Gay ‘Sex Party’ Seaming “Allahu Akbar”, 13 Arrested.

Despite the fact that homosexual sex is legal between consenting adults in Indonesia the radical group The Islam Defenders Front (FPI) raided a private gathering in an apartment complex in South Jakarta on Saturday and forced 13 arrests, at what they believed to be a ‘gay sex party.’

A 50-strong FPI mob shouting “Allahu Akbar” swarmed the Kalibata City apartment complex and forced local police to detain the men, whom they found shirtless and ‘playing games’ The Jakarta Post reports.

The FPI were tipped off about the event via a circulated invitation and seized upon it as a chance to punish what they deem to be immoral behaviour.

FPI members boasted about the arrests on Twitter, including a photo of the detained men alongside claims they had ‘successfully broken up’ the gay sex party.

With little to no retribution from the Indonesian government or police, the hardline group has gradually become more vocal and dangerous towards minority groups such as Hindus, smaller Islamic sects and the LGBT community.

In recent years members have committed violent attacks on the Ahmadiyah community, smashed up ‘sinful’ bars for selling alcohol during the holy month of Ramadan and held protests that forced Lady Gaga to cancel the Jakarta leg of her tour amid safety fears.

Indonesia’s Association of Psychiatrists this year claimed being LGBT was a mental disorder and gay emojis were banned from popular messaging apps such as Whatsapp in February.

Head of ‘Gay Conversion’ Therapy Group JONAH Testifies In Lawsuit: “I was convicted of fraud”

Arthur Goldberg, the director of a anti-gay “nonprofit” conversion therapy group called JONAH (Jews Offering New Alternatives for Healing) acknowledged on the witness stand Monday that the group claims a “success” rate of 65 to 75 percent to turn gay men to straight even though it doesn’t keep its own statistics and relies on anecdotal evidence from counselors. 

The 75-year-old Goldberg acknowledged that he believes homosexuality is a spiritual disorder and a condition caused by emotional wounds occurring in childhood and adolescence that can be cured through a “gender-affirming” process and that in emails and writings on the group’s website JONAH claims that roughly two-thirds of men who go through the program are “successfully healed,” stating that he relies on anecdotal evidence from counselors affiliated with JONAH to reach those numbers.

“It’s an estimate,” he said under questioning from plaintiffs’ attorney Lina Bensman

Goldberg was also pressed to admit that the American Psychotherapy Association revoked two certifications it granted him because on his applications he failed to mention that he had been convicted of fraud and conspiracy years ago and spent time in prison. Pressed by Bensman, he also said he has never been a licensed counselor but has referred to himself as one in writings and emails and has had input on some of JONAH’s programs.

Goldberg testified on the second day of a trial involving four young men who underwent the treatment and sued the group.  His attorneys have argued that their client’s methods have been shown to be successful and that the plaintiffs didn’t complain or ask for their money back at the time they left the program but only did so after being contacted by activists seeking to shut JONAH down. They also say the men didn’t remain in the program for the two to four years JONAH claims it takes to achieve full conversion.

One of the plaintiffs, Benjamin Unger, testified last week that one of JONAH’s methods involved using a tennis racket to beat a pillow that was meant to represent his mother, who, he said counselors told him, was responsible for his homosexuality. He also spoke of being urged to spend more time naked with his father.

 

Heterosexual Awareness Month? Yeah It’s Real

If you also read the fantastic LGBT newsblog The New Civil Rights Movement then you’ve already heard of the Facebook group determined to spread…heterosexual awareness? The group’s mission is to stand up for repressed heterosexuals for “just having an opinion”. Here’s more of the new group’s goals:

“To stop heterophobia, protect marriage and promote heterosexual lifestyle, tradition and culture.” The group states “July is (official) Heterosexual awareness month.

The group also suggests that the term homophobia has deviated from its original meaning and being targeted towards heterosexuals:

Homophobia n. 1 An extreme derogatory word used to describe a personal point of view. 2. Disparaging or belittling description of a traditional lifestyle advocate.

Such words must only be used when editorially justified. It is your job as a heterosexual to educate the public on how derogatory it is to call someone the ‘h’ word.

One of it’s members who claims to be a website administrator added that they also aim to educate how immoral homosexuality is:

The most common question or accusation we receive is about ‘hate’, I would like to say we are not about hate in any way. We tackle a serious subject, and take our message just as serious, but unlike some other similar pages, we do display a lighter and more entertaining side.”

“We believe in an equal voice and respect for those who defend real marriage. We also believe that the negative treatment and unwarranted abuse of those who simply disagree with gay marriage is out of control. Disagreement on a controversial issue is not hate.”

“We also believe that teaching children that homosexuality is normal is inappropriate. Militant (and we stress militant) homosexuals, due to political correctness, have become too powerful,” 

They have every right to believe whatever they want to believe. And I am also entitled to voice that this has to be the most ignorant, uneducated, pretentious, and flat out the dumbest thing I’ve seen in a long while. What America did you wake up to? If it’s the one where a straight Caucasian male has had every right and privilege afforded to him since birth while not having any of your freedoms threatened, then you’re delusional if you think LGBT is trying to take anything from anyone.

Because otherwise, every other demographic of race, gender, and sexuality have had to fight for the same rights and are still stigmatized to this day. This is the same inane privilege when people discuss having a “Caucasian Awareness Month” in conjunction to  Black History Month. Your history can be found in libraries and books while the rest of us, who are descendants of slaves and Native Americans, the true owners of this country, have had our histories almost completely wiped out.

the Society of St. Vincent de Paul of St. Louis Tells Vice President of the Board That He Cannot be Presidetn Because He’s "Gay"

If you go to The the Society of St. Vincent de Paul’s homepage one of the questions is:  What is the Society of St. Vincent de Paul? Their answer? 

“Members of the Society of St.Vincent de Paul (or “Vincentians” ) are men and women who strive to grow spiritually by offering person-to-person service to individuals in need. We are young and old. Our members come in every shade of skin color. Some of us are wealthy, some are financially poor, but all of us are blessed with an awareness that our blessings (time, talent or treasure) are to be shared with our brothers and sisters in need.”

What they neglect to mention is that if their members who give so much of themselves are gay, that tno matter how much charity work they do, or how much money that they raise that they cannot become the Board President if they are “gay”  (Even if they were the Board ‘s Vice Presdidentt)  And thats whats happened to Jeffrey Goldone, a board member of The Society of St. Vincent de Paul of St. Louis, who was told he could not become board president because he is gay.

“I was told that I could not run for president because my living relationship goes against Catholic moral teaching,” which could bring ‘shame and embarrassment” to the society. 

Gabone has been in a moingomas relationship with his partner for 20 years.

The group’s executive director, Zip Rzeppa, wrote in an e-mail: “We serve all people without discrimination. And please note we are not discriminating against Jeff Goldone, a man who has done much good. He disqualified himself for the position of president by choosing to live a lifestyle of illicit sexual union, which falls outside the teachings of the Catholic Church, and outside the qualifications of the Society’s international Rule.”

Goldstone points out that he has volunteered countless hours and helped raise money for the last several years. The St. Louis group raised $10 million in contributions between 2004 and 2008, according to public records. Its board members are volunteers. As a vice president, Goldone helped with organizational decisions and helps ensure it meets its mission of serving the poor.

Yet more proof that any LGBT person who is a practicing Catholic should seriously rethink changing their faith. 

Washington D.C. Catholic Charities Screws All New Employees To Avoid Gay Spousal Benefits

To ensure its homophobic and bigoted HATE faith, Catholic Charities starting Tuesday, will not offer benefits to spouses of new employees or to spouses of current employees who are not already enrolled in the plan. A letter describing the change in health benefits was e-mailed to employees Monday, two days before same-sex marriage will become legal in the District. ‘We looked at all the options and implications,’ said the charity’s president, Edward J. Orzechowski. ‘This allows us to continue providing services, comply with the city’s new requirements and remain faithful to the church’s teaching.’ Catholic Charities, which receives $22 million from the city for social service programs, protested in the run-up to the council’s December vote to allow same-sex marriage, saying that it might not be able to continue its contracts with the city, including operating homeless shelters and facilitating city-sponsored adoptions.”

So what they’re really saying is that they’re afraid some of their employees will marry their same-sex partners and by doing this can stay on the city gravey train for the 22 million a year since after all they need to recoup all the money they paid out for all the priest/child abuse lawsuits.

And now it will just be a matter of time until The Drudge Report and uber wingnut Dr. Gary L. Cass .press to characterize this as “Catholic Charities of DC forced to deny spousal benefits to workers because of DC Same-Sex marriage law” and adds it to their litany of lies as to why granting gays equal rights is an assault on their freedom of religion.  Because we all know THEY LOVE to play the maryrs.

Whu ANY Gay man or Lesbian would evcen be a Catholic anymore let alone work for that vile and hateful religion is beyond me anyway.
