As we reported last week. Ahead of its June 16 Pride Night, the Los Angeles Dodgers officially removed The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence from their Pride Night honoree list after being duped by two “Catholic” hate groups; CatholicVote.org and Bill Donoghue of the Catholic League that has no affiliation to the Catholic church and who bombarded the team with messages because they were honoring a ” blatantly perverted, sexual and disgusting anti-Catholic hate group.”
After the Sisters were removed from the Dodgers’ Pride Night, LA Pride dropped out of the event in solidarity, writing, “Pride is a fight for equality and inclusion for the entire LGBTQ community and we’re not going to stop now.” At the time, the Sisters wrote that they were “offended and outraged” by the team’s decision to rescind their invitation and succumb to “pressure” and “misleading information.”
Well the LA Dodgers have finally done their due diligence after much blowback and complaints and have apologizedto the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.
“After much thoughtful feedback from our diverse communities, honest conversations within the Los Angeles Dodgers organization, and generous discussions with the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence … the Dodgers would like to offer our sincerest apologies,” the team said in a statement Monday afternoon after meeting with leaders of the group. “A full apology and explanation was given to us by the Dodgers staff which we accept,” the Sisters said. “We believe the apology is sincere because the Dodgers have worked for 10 years with our community and as well they have asked us to continue an ongoing relationship with them.”
Over the weekend we reported that Supernatural actor Misha Collins had appeared at Creation Entertainment’s Supernatural Official Convention where Collins in a Q&A with the audience, asked, “How many of you would consider yourself introverts? How many extroverts? And how many bisexuals?” Collins added, “I’m all three.”
Well it appears Collins IS NOT bisexual and has apologized for misspeaking, pointing out that he is indeed straight.

“I want to deeply apologize for misspeaking this weekend. At a fan convention in New Jersey, when I was talking with the audience I said that I was ‘all three’ things: an introvert, an extrovert and a bisexual. My clumsy intention was to wave off actually discussing my sexuality, but I badly fumbled that and understand that was seen as me coming out as bisexual. This was not my intention so I need to correct the record: I am not bisexual. I happen to be straight, but I am also a fierce ally and the last thing I want to do is falsely co-opt the struggles of the LGBTQIA+ community. I believe and fully support that we need to sanctify the human right to express our identities honestly and to be free to love whomever we choose openly I am deeply sorry for the clumsiness of my language. I want to be a better ally and I feel sick to my stomach that I might have done anything to make things worse. I’m trying to learn, trying to do better and I will keep listening. The United States today surpassed Italy in the total number of confirmed deaths from the coronavirus, reaching its deadliest day on Friday with 2,057 deaths. As of Saturday afternoon, the total dead in the United States stood at 20,110.
But there seems to be a bit of good news out of New York.
New York Governor Andrew Cuomo said Saturday that 783 people died in New York on Friday due to COVID-19. On Thursday, 777 people lost their lives to the virus. The day before that, the state reported 799 deaths.
The number of deaths is somewhat stabilizing, he said, but stabilizing at a “horrific rate.” Friday’s fatalities raise the total death toll in New York from the coronavirus to 8,627. The state remains the U.S. epicenter of the global coronavirus outbreak.
Cuomo said, however, that the numbers of people being hospitalized and admitted to ICUs are on a downward slope. Intubations are also down.
Just because New York numbers may be stabilizing we are not out of the woods while the virus begins to rear its ugly head in other parts of the country. In Kentucky COVID-19 cases are up by 242 to a total of 1,693 with 90 deaths. The state plans to quarantine churchgoers that gather this Easter weekend in violation of Governor Andy Beshear’s executive orders to self-quarantine for two weeks.
Also in COVID-19 news today a new study examining air samples from hospital wards with COVID-19 patients has found the virus can travel up to 13 feet (four meters) — twice the distance current guidelines say people should leave between themselves in public.
Jennifer Holliday, longtime LGBT icon and ally, as canceled her appearance at Donald Trump’s inauguration event next week, calling her decision to perform a “lapse of judgement.”
In an open letter, obtained by TheWrap, Holiday apologized to the LGBT community, saying she was “uneducated on the issues that affect every American at this crucial time in history and for causing such dismay and heartbreak to my fans.”
“My only choice must now be to stand with the LGBT Community and to state unequivocally that I WILL NOT PERFORM FOR THE WELCOME CONCERT OR FOR ANY OF THE INAUGURATION FESTIVITIES!”
Holliday ends her letter telling her gay fans: “Please know that I HEAR YOU and I feel your pain. The LGBT Community was mostly responsible for birthing my career and I am deeply indebted to you… You have loved me faithfully and unconditionally and for so many years you provided me with work even though my star had long since faded.”

Please allow me this opportunity to speak to you directly and to explain why I originally made my decision to perform at the inauguration which was what I had thought would be my simply keeping in my tradition of being a “bi-partisan songbird” having sung for Presidents Reagan, Bush, Clinton and Bush.
I was asked to sing a song for what was presented to me as the “Welcome Concert For The People”– in my mind I was reflecting on the past times of being asked to sing for presidents and I only focused on the phrase “For The People”… I thought, For America!
I was honestly just thinking that I wanted my voice to be a healing and unifying force for hope through music to help our deeply polarized country… Regretfully, I did not take into consideration that my performing for the concert would actually instead be taken as a political act against my own personal beliefs and be mistaken for support of Donald Trump and Mike Pence.
In light of the information pointed out to me via the Daily Beast article on yesterday, my only choice must now be to stand with the LGBT Community and to state unequivocally that I WILL NOT PERFORM FOR THE WELCOME CONCERT OR FOR ANY OF THE INAUGURATION FESTIVITIES!

Adult magazine Penthouse has received three claims for its $1 million offer to anyone who could provide real tapes of President-elect Donald Trump’s alleged and unproven sexual escapades at the Ritz-Carlton in Moscow, the publication’s editor exclusively revealed to International Business Times Thursday.
Penthouse editor Raphie Aronowitz said the magazine isn’t conducting a “witch hunt,” but wants to prove whether the allegations against Trump are true. Aronowitz said the lucrative offer falls in line with the magazine’s well-established brand, though to his knowledge Penthouse has never made such an exorbitant offer before.
“If the story is real, which we don’t know if it is or not, it really kind of hits at the intersection between politics, scandal and sex, which as a brand both historically and currently is our sweet spot,” Aronowitz said in a phone interview.
Should Penthouse receive a tape or file, Aronowitz said it will then turn it over to experts formerly affiliated with the Federal Bureau of Investigation – how they were affiliated Aronowitz would not explain – in order to authenticate it. Aronowitz said he hoped to see a video by the end of the week but that there is no set time frame or deadline.
Yesterday we posted a story about Will X. Walters (above) who was arrested at the 2011 San Diego Pride on a charge of public nudity and the resulting lawsuit Williams has brought against the SDPD and the head of Pride security, Shawn Chamberlain.
Walters who was dressed in “leather gear consisting of boots, a black leather gladiator kilt, black underwear, and a black leather harness with chrome rings and says he was forcibly escorted out and had his phone knocked from his hand as he attempted to record the incident.
This incident is being over publicized by Mr. Walters and his legal counsel. Mr. Walters allegations of battery of his camera are false. I never struck him or his camera. He was afforded every opportunity to cover his ass crack which was exposed with every step as he was not wearing anything under his flap. This event permits children.
Mr. Walters was simply asked to cover his crack, he refused the situation was taken without force outside the side gate for everybody’s safety. Just outside the venue and in plain sight the conversation continued between the San Diego Police (6) officers including a Lieutenant and Sergeant along with myself the only representative of San Diego Pride.
When he refused to cover himself he was informed of the San Diego and Penal Cde sections he was violating and that he would be subject to citation if he refused to comply. At this time he called his attorney as well he video taped the conversation. He was allowed to make his calls and continue to video tape throughout the ordeal.
It was decided that the incident was not going to resolve and a citation was issued. The citation was explained to him in it entirety and he refused to sign the citation which would constitute his promise to appear in court. Based on his repeated refusal and his escalation in his attitude he was ultimately
During the entire incident I was allowed to speak with Mr. Walters during the initial encounter to attempt to resolve this incident as the Pride lason. Mr. Walters was asked to comply by simply covering his ass crack and enjoy the event. He refused. Prior to issuing the citation I was permitted again to attempt to resolve this issue to which Mr. Walters again refused. When the citation was issued and Mr. Walters refused to sign, I was allowed again to attempt to resolve this issue as well as inform Mr. Waters that they were considering arresting him and f that happened he would be taken to jail dressed as he was.
Mr. Walters continued his defiance and was ultimately arrested. This incident took over 40 minutes to play out. I am accused of striking the camera from Mr. Walters hand which is a false statement. I never touched Mr. Walters and will defend not only my Name but my reputation in the community. Mr. Walters was dressed inappropriately and refused to change his attire to conform with the request of the police dept furthermore refused to give his promise to appear which resulted in his arrest.
Well I have to say that from the above photo I have seen much more risque outfits at many other Gay Pride Parades and at Mardi Gras. So whats the problem?

Well all parades permit children. But its the parents responsibility not to take them and expose them to things they don’t deem fit to see. But with the recent “gayby” influx over the past 10 years this puts all Prides in a precarious situation.
Do they tone down the festivities to make them “family friendly” or do they also hold separate “Family Pride Events”?
IMO children have no place at a Pride Parade. Its always been a day of celebration, frivolous fun, and letting go. That’s part of the point of it. And to be so prudish to censor some to make it palatable for others is what we fight against daily. And for San Diego Pride to allow and to be part of one of our community to be arrested is inconceivable. If anything San Diego Pride should have been defending Will X’s right to freedom of expression and also his leather community roots
Kirk Cameron has released a statement to ABC News about all the hoopla that has occurred with him being called out because of his intolerant, religious extremist remarks that he made on the Pier’s Morgan show over the weekend when he stated that that homosexuality is “unnatural, detrimental” and “ultimately destructive to so many of the foundations of civilization.”
According to Ms. Cameron he’s being “slandered”
I spoke as honestly as I could, but some people believe my responses were not loving toward those in the gay community. That is not true. I can assuredly say that it’s my life’s mission to love all people. I should be able to express moral views on social issues, especially those that have been the underpinning of Western civilization for 2,000 years — without being slandered, accused of hate speech, and told from those who preach ‘tolerance’ that I need to either bend my beliefs to their moral standards or be silent when I’m in the public square. I believe we need to learn how to debate these things with greater love and respect,” and added, “I’ve been encouraged by the support of many friends (including gay friends, incidentally).”
Judge Virginia Philips today DENIED the government’s request for a stay in the injunction against “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”. Judge Phillips wasted no time in rejecting the government’s arguments that barring DADT immediately would be an undue burden on the military and called the justice department’s declarations to the court both vague and insufficient
From the Associated Press : Phillips called (the DOJ) request ‘untimely,’ saying the government had plenty of opportunity to modify her injunction before she ordered it last Tuesday. She also balked at their admission of a Rolling Stone article to support its argument that the abrupt change in the policy would hurt military readiness. ‘I hardly need to say more than that,’ Phillips said of the article. ‘It’s hearsay. It’s not reliable.’ Phillips also said the Justice Department also did not present evidence at the trial to show how her order would cause irreparable harm to U.S. troops. Justice Department attorney Paul Freeborne told her the government had no reason to respond until her order came down. He said her nationwide injunction is unrealistic. ‘You’re requiring the Department of Justice to implement a massive policy change, a policy change that may be reversed upon appeal,’ Freeborne told her. Freeborne said the government would go to a higher court if she denied their request to temporarily freeze her injunction.”
Phillips is expected to issue a formal ruling later Monday or early Tuesday

The National Organization For Marriage’s “One Man, One Woma” HATE-APOLOOZA puilled into Des Moines Iowa today.
Since the unanimous Iowa Supreme Court decision last year ruling that excluding same-sex couples from the freedom to marry is unconstitutional, and Gay Marriage has been legal in Iowa since, the issue has largely faded as a controversy. Until today.
The focus of today’s NOM rally in Des Moines was on the “secretive” and “backdoor” tactics used by equality activists to pass marriage in Iowa. (And if anyone knows about secretive backdoor activities it’s most certainly Brian Brown)

Later sanity finally began to return to Des Moines when One Iowa along with over 300 equality activists and their families held a short rally about an hour later 2 miles away after the NOMBIES left the State House. (I can hear the fake “Breaking News” cast now. “As the NOM Bus pulled out of Iowa 300 angry gay radical activist joined together in “mind power” to give our fearless leader Brian Brown a case of indegestion telepathically)
The One Iowa rally was filled with balloons, rainbow flags and love. A stark contrast from NOM’s hateful anti-civil rights and fire and brimstone message.
