Gay Stonewall Vet Jim Fouratt Assaulted By Trans Activist at Let Women Speak Event

Gay Stonewall Vet Jim Fouratt Assaulted By Trans Activist at Let Women Speak Event

In a news story that flew under the radar this month is the upsetting news that transgender rights activists clashed with authorities in New York City on November 18th during a protest against a “Let Women Speak” event, which they claim incites hatred against the transgender community but not before displaying some hatred against the gay community themselves.

The clashes unfolded at City Hall Park, near City Hall in Manhattan. A police spokesperson said nine people were arrested.

Opponents have called the speaking tour a “TERF” event. TERF stands for trans-exclusionary radical feminist. Transgender rights activists have accused TERFs of excluding trans people, and particularly transgender women, from women’s rights advocacy.

In the crowd at the event was Stonewall veteran Jim Fouratt former nightclub impresario. He is best known for his involvement with the Stonewall riots and as co-founder of the Danceteria. Fouratt was singled out by trans “NY fashion models” Amara Velasquez & Casil McArthur who spit on and kept calling the 81 year old Fouratt “fucking, faggot” repeatedly in his face.

In September of 2022 gay Stonewall veteran Fred Sargeant was attacked after holding a sign with the phrase “Gay Not Queer” at the 39th Burlington Pride Parade in Vermont.

ACLU Trans Activist Ambushes Pete Buttigieg Over BLACK TRANS LIVES MATTER at NYC AIDS Memorial

ACLU Trans Activist Ambushes Pete Buttigieg Over BLACK TRANS LIVES MATTER at NYC AIDS Memorial

Last Friday gay Democratic hopeful Pete Buttigieg went to New York City’s LGBT Community Center on Friday to discuss HIV/AIDS policy,. Mayor Pete left the Center to walk to the NYC AIDS Memorial a few blocks south to pay his respects to the hundreds of thousands of victims.

After arriving at the memorial a small group of activists arrived carrying signs that read “BLACK TRANS LIVES MATTER” and “STONEWALL IS NOW”

“The purpose of this protest is to highlight that there are distinct issues that divide the [LGBTQ+] community, namely along color lines,” Kiara St. James, the co-founder and executive director of the New York Transgender Advocacy Group, tells Out. “He can’t use trans folks as talking points and not show up at the [Trans Day of Action] march.

Also involved in the ambush was American Civil Liberties Union trans justice campaign manager LaLa Holston-Zannell who said:

“It is your responsibility to let [queer and trans people of color] know that you will have their back and that you understand police brutality,” she said. “Stonewall 50 — that’s what we fought for, six days [really four] against the police, and today we’re still doing it. Fifty years ago, it was a girl like me that fought for six days. Black trans women are the most targeted—”

It was then some push-back against Holston-Zannell’s behavior began from the crowd.

A gay man in the crowd told Holston-Zannell:

“With all due respect, it wasn’t just you there,” he said, confronting her about erasing white gay people from the Stonewall narrative.

And he wasn’t the only one. After one of the other activists said that “Black trans lives matter,” a white woman in the crowd countered that “all lives matter.” Later, another white woman, who thought she’d never see “a married gay man running for president,” thanked the mayor for “working for all of us, for trans, for LGBT—”

“You can’t say that,” said Holston-Zannell. “If you’re not Black and trans you can’t say that.”

“You know what?” the woman responded, frustrated. “My wife worked for marriage equality.”

“Which means nothing for Black and brown trans people,” Holston-Zannell replied. “We care about living. We care about not being killed.”

Said Buttigieg later after the confrontation:

“One thing I’m very mindful of is that I couldn’t be doing this if people hadn’t fought for me before I was born, Some of them Black, some of them trans, people whose lived experiences were totally different than mine. But we’ve got to be lifting each other up. If you’re going to press me on doing a better job of lifting people up, I welcome that challenge.”

Back2Stonewall has reached out to the ACLU asking if
LaLa Holston-Zannell will face any ramifications for confronting Pete
Buttigieg at the AIDS Memorial.

There has been no response.

Vermont Trans Activists Lose Their Shit Over New Gay Bar Named “Mister Sister”

Two board members of the Pride Center of Vermont have resigned from LGBT center board citing its delay of the Center in taking a stance on the name of a new Winooski gay bar which they and other trans-activists have deemed “offensive.”

The bar’s name?  Mister Sister.

The only local gay in Winooski closed years ago. But now the owner of a successful Oak45 has closed his current venue and  is scheduled to reopen the bar next week as the gay bar Mister Sister.

The Pride Center of Vermont had been  trying to have town meetings because the bar owner is refusing to change the proposed ‘transphobic’ name from Mister Sister to something more ‘inclusive’ and the owner refuses to indulge this bullshit and meet with them

Owner Craig McGaughan says he sees the term as inclusive, but some say it’s a slur historically used to disparage transgender women.

Burlington resident Wiley Reading, who identifies as a transgender man, said he was “stoked” when he found out about the bar’s opening but “deeply concerned” when he saw the name.

“‘Mister sister’ is a transmisogynistic slur, and it is deeply uncomfortable,” Reading said. He added that the phrase historically has been used to denigrate transgender women, and transgender people often associate the term with the violence to which many of them have been victim.

“It antagonizes and excludes a large portion of the community, and especially a portion of the community that has historically been left out of the conversation or marginalized,” Reading said.

Craig McGaughan countered

“It is a term that has been used among gays and Drag Queens for decades intended to be positively gender-bending,” McGaughan wrote. “Mister Sister is for the Misters and the Sisters, those that identify as both and everyone in between. The official description of Mister Sister is ‘a gay bar for him, her and them.’ I have been very intentional in using a pronoun that isn’t specifically male or female as a way to include anyone that identifies as part of the LGBTQ community.”

The Burlington Free Press reports the Pride Center of Vermont board said it needed more information to take a position. The group, which serves the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community, scheduled a town hall meeting for Thursday but Board members Timber Adamson and Bailey Cummings resigned, saying they won’t be part of an organization that won’t take a stance on issues that affect the people it serves.

In actuality the term “Mister Sister” IS NOT all that historic or a “transmisogynistic” slur.  There is surprisingly very little information out there on the term and what there is relates mostly  to “drag queens” and not the trans population.

According to the The Urban Dictionary:

mister sister : A drag queen.

Example: “Will and Grace”

“Don’t mess with that mister sister, or you’ll end up looking like a Cher barbie doll gone bad.”

Ironically at the behest of trans and gender non-binary activists and theorists the term “queer”, which is a ” phrase that historically HAS been used to denigrate GAY MEN, and GAY MEN often associate the term with the violence to which many of them have been victim” has been added is okay and has been added “officially” to the LGBT acronym which is now LGBTQ.

Go figure.

She was 47.

TMZ reports:

Alexis Arquette died Sunday morning surrounded by family and friends … the family confirms to TMZ. Alexis’ brother, Richmond Arquette says Alexis died at 12:32 AM while listening to David Bowie’s, “Starman.” Besides being the sibling of David and Patricia Arquette — Alexis was known for her roles in “Pulp Fiction” and “The Wedding Singer,” as well as being a champion for trans rights. We’re told she’s been battling an illness.

At nineteen, Alexis Arquette landed her first sizable film role, playing transvestite Georgette in the screen adaptation of controversial novel Last Exit to Brooklyn. The majority of Arquette’s film work was in low-budget or independent films. Her starring roles include Jumpin’ at the Boneyard (as a crack addict), acting opposite Tim Roth, and New Zealand-shot fantasy Jack Be Nimble, as a man seeking revenge for a hellish childhood, and low budget comedy Killer Drag Queens on Dope, as a murderous drag queen.

OH THE HORROR! – Trans-Activists and SJW’s Go After Bette Midler For Joke Tweet They Deem “Transphobic”

Bette Midler's Caitlyn Jenner Tweet

Bette Midler has been an LGBT community ally for over 50 years.  Known for using her quick wit and sharp tongue for decades she has poked fun at everyone regardless of race, creed, or sexual orientation.

Last night Midler was attacked on Twitter for posting a  joke tweet about Caitlyn Jenner by thin skinned trans-activists and social justice warriors.

Midler tweeted:

“Now that @IAmCait has been cancelled, will she go back to being Bruce? Will Kris take him back? Do I smell a re-wedding?

Well that threw trans-activist, many of whom do not like Jenner themselves into a tizzy with many labeling the Divine Miss M. “transphobic”

@BetteMidler @IAmCait Yes, because being transgender is just a phase? What a vile tweet. Will you go back to being irrelevant?

— Josh Haigh (@joshcharles_21) August 21, 2016

.@BetteMidler @IAmCait Just shows, you can be as gay-friendly all you want, but to some, transphobia comes so easy. How tired and pathetic.

— Annie Wallace (@anniewallace) August 21, 2016

I hope @BetteMidler apologizes for her terrible transphobic comments and takes the time to educate herself on trans people’s rights/dignity

— Her Majesty (@RoyalHoeliness) August 21, 2016

Having respect for transgender people and also believing Caitlyn Jenner may be a phony are not mutually exclusive points of view. Is it even possible anymore  to say anything negative or make a joke about one trans person no matter how warranted without it equating to saying it about all trans people and getting in hot water?

Midler who later deleted the tweet and apologized for any feelings she might have hurt has made a living out of comedy, snark, and music for almost a half-a-century and has always been a staunch supporter of the LGBT community. So it’s ironic that trans-activist are telling Bette Midler to get educated about trans rights because she tweeted about Caitlyn Jenner, when Caitlyn Jenner herself was once a wealthy white Republican man who is now a wealthy white Republican woman who herself needs to be educated about LGBTQ rights.

My only question is now when will these same trans-activist demand an apology from Caitlyn Jenner’s  for embarrassing the entire LGBT community since her transition and for supporting a political party that wants to see us without any rights or human dignity?

Oh that’s right she doesn’t have to make one.  She’s transgender.

Statement Regarding Transgender Identity Watch Exposed’s Slanderous Post Regarding The “Drop the T” Petition

idiots

Last night a trans -activist named Melissa Savage who obviously has too much time on her hands and hatred in her heart against gay men wrongly accused me of being the author of the “Drop the T” petition that has been posted on Change.org.

The author of this petition is a seasoned gay rights blogger who identifies as left-wing, but with racist, misogynistic, and transphobic views that line him up with the neo-reactionary TERF movement quite well. His name is Will Kohler, a gay rights activist in Covington, KY, United States. He owns a blog known as Back2Stonewall. (Facebook Page.)

Ms. Savage attacks myself. My website, and my integrity by twisting circumstantial evidence in her delusional mind to justify her hatred and anger.

That being said I am not the author of the petition and many of my readers and friends in the LGBT activist community know that and will stand by my side and support me.

While I am angry at this unsubstantiated and unwarranted accusations I am also sad that Ms. Savage has so much hate in her heart to gay men.

If anyone is responsible for a backlash against the trans-community it is Ms. Savage and trans-activist like her that give her community a bad name.

Trans-Activist Jennicet Gutiérrez Who Heckled Obama Feels “Betrayed” By The Gay Community – Long Version Video

Trans heckler White House

Jennicet Gutiérrez, the  undocumented trans-activist  who interrupted President Obama at the White House event celebrating LGBT Pride on Wednesday  says she feels sold out by the gay community in attendance who turned its back on her

“By booing me and not letting me be clear on the message, yeah, it seemed like they don’t care; to me it was very hurtful and heartbreaking to see my own community turning a back on me,” Gutierrez said”  It seemed like they were more concerned to be firing up social media with selfies and knowing they were at the White House with the president,” she added. “To me that is not an issue. An issue is the violence that we are facing in these detention centers, My community, which is supposed to be behind me and support me, should be embarrassed, because we cannot be making progress for some and leave others behind.

As for the prospect of never being invited back to the White House, Gutierrez couldn’t care less.

“That’s the least of my concerns,” Guitierrez said. “My concern is to continue to fight for the rights and the humane treatment of immigrant transwomen.”

Below is posted a longer version of the what exactly happened at the White House.

Trans Activist Descibes In Their Own Words The Police Brutality And Hate At Boston Tea Party Rally

Last night I published a quick post about the police brutality, hate and violence experienced by Occupy Boston protesters which occureed at the Boston Tea Party’s Partiot’s Day Rally on Boston Commons yesterday which featured anti-gay hate group leaders Scott Lively and Brian Caremaker.

Today I recieved an email from the Occupty Boston  protestor pictured above who became a victim of brutality at the hands of the BPD. They recount the details of the event and the anti-LGBT hate of the Tea Party:

Hey,

I’m in a bit of an adrenaline crash right now, so I’m not sure how well I can give a full account of what happened today. There were at least 5 independent groups protesting against the rally today, two  of which was Occupy Boston Queer and Trans Direct Action Working Group

We had plans to “Mic Check” the event, with some language about how their supposed “family values” actually destroy families that have LGBT members in them etc. Some of us were dressed up, others were attempting to go “stealth”. I was one of the “dressed up” people — wearing a wig, glitter, some make up, and a black bandana over my face. We were in the crowd ready to mic check when the Antifa group came marching in carrying a banner, chanting about women’s rights. I think they were more protesting the Tea Party in general as being a neo-fascist group rather than specifically protesting the anti-LGBT hate groups being represented.

Anyway, a Tea Partier grabbed their banner, an altercation developed, and the Occupy Boston  groups started  chanting “FASCISTS OUT”, as the Tea Partiers chanted “USA! USA!” (oh the irony…)

Two of our protesters were arrested, and I moved away from the crowd to show solidarity with them and follow as they were arrested.  After that, I moved back into the crowd, and a Tea Partier knocked the wig off my head. I picked it up said to him “Why do you think it’s okay to knock my wig off my head?”. He replied “Oh, my hand slipped”.

I was going to continue talking to him but then the officer in the picture approached me and said “okay, take your shit and get out of here”, shoving me back. I said to him “Don’t shove me.” He then said “Don’t shove you!?” and then choked me, for a short period of time. My comrades reacted pretty quick, taking those pictures, getting his badge number, etc. He was rough with several other people, grabbing one of my comrades’ phone out of his hand when he tried to take a picture etc.

I moved back and joined the main group of people — all the disparate groups had formed a single large group to chant en masse. This went on for a while. Our group eventually started marching in a circle chanting at the homophobes, things like “RACIST, SEXIST, ANTI-QUEER / YOU CAN’T MAKE US LIVE IN FEAR” “PREACH LOVE, NOT HATE”.

One of my comrades from was arrested for holding up a vial of fake blood in the faces of tea partiers — symbolic of the blood of all the LGBT people who are murder and driven to suicide because of their hate.

At this point, I left the rally to do jail support for my 3 arrested comrades.

I am not sure what happened after I left.

-A-

I think we can finally put to bed the lies that the Tea Party has been telling us for these past few years that they are all only about “fiscal responsibility”.

Trans Activist Glitterbomb Dan Savage…… AGAIN. Trans Activist Gone Wild!

Six trans activists, who named themselves The Homomilitia once again  glitterbombed gay advocate, sex columnist, and It gets Better founder Dan Savage in Canada for the third time in recent months with one of the attacks on Savage being potentially dangerous as a  glass jar which was thrown at (and missed) his face.

In the latest attack on Savage, the trans activists appear to be focusing on the fact that not enough gay white males are focusing on trans equality

Queer activists have historically used glitter-bombing as a tactic against conservative politicians and high-profile anti-gay bigots, Vancouver protester Lavender Menace notes. Asked if she lumps Savage in with such people, she says people have different ways of contributing to oppressive systems.

“Savage is taking on being a speaker and leader in this movement. We have to take that into account,” she adds. “He’s part of a broader [group] of gay, white, cis-gendered, able-bodied gay men focused on gay-marriage priorities. We want to say those priorities are messed up.”

Now I LOVE my trans brothers and sisters. I really do.  I’ve done many pro-trans post here and have covered trans news stories as much as I am able.  But trans activist need to refocus their anger and use it where it’s really needed because:

Glitter bombing Dan Savage DOES NOT help garner support and move forward your cause.

Trashing the gay male community DOES NOT help garner support and move forward your cause.

Using cis-gendered as a slur DOES NOT help garner support and move forward your cause.

It just pisses people off.

Because in actuality trans activist are probably hurting their own cause now by alienating and pushing away those they actually NEED to support them instead of their TRUE enemies.

Savage himself has that these attacks against him spring from a time when he made comments and  “didn’t have a firm understanding of the nuances of trans issues” and he has stopped because now he does.

What more do you want?

Move on and go after the people who are your real enemies. Tony Perkins, Peter LaBarbera, Matt Barber,  the hate groups and the GOP politicians who demonize you and use you as a wedge against inclusive equality for all.

I will be the first to admit that the trans community has always gotten the short end of the stick.  But you need to talk and work with the LGB community NOT ATTACK them.  And you need to make up your mind.  Many trans activists say they don’t want to be part of the LGB community but then they get angry that they are not a priority or the attention that they deserve.

The trans community and especially its activist need to focus on working together on IMPORTANT issues and with the LGB community,  because in all honesty all you are doing right now is alienating the very people who have ever given you any support.

My 2 cents.  Like it or not.

RuPaul To Trans Activist: Lighten Up! “I Love The Word “Tranny!”…

In an interview with Mike Signorile for SiriusXM OutQ and HuffPost Gay Voices RuPaul has become the voice of reason in an interview which I am sure is going to ruffle a few trans-activists feathers.

RuPaul talked about her reality show in which drag queens face off and weighed in on other matters, including the the latest trans controversies including the now canceled ABC sitcom, “Work It,” (canceled for low rating and that it was a piece of crap, not because of the “controversy”) in which two straight men dress in drag in order to get jobs and which has been criticized by GLAAD the HRC and  gay and transgender activists for mocking transgender women.  Even though it had absolutely NOTHING to do with any trans characters.  (Drag is the new blackface obviously to trans-activists) RuPaul is imploring the activists to calm down and :

“Don’t take life so seriously… Everybody’s offended by something. And it really goes back to the ego — egoic mind and the ego-based world that we live in, where everybody is, their identify is everything. And this is what drag is about — you are not who you think are, you’re born naked, and the rest is drag. It’s all a facade — you’re much more than what you think you are. So this idea of people feeling they’re not being represented — I remember on [the ’70s sitcom] “Good Times,” when black activists got upset with the fact that J.J., the lead character, didn’t represent what young black men in our culture — in fact the two leads of the TV show quit the show because they felt J.J., the Jimmy Walker character, didn’t represent. Well, the truth is, kids, this is a sitcom, this is a comedy — sitcom. If you want representation, you do it yourself. It starts on a personal level. If you want to change the world, change your mind. Your mind. Not anyone else’s mind. Your mind.

And as for the word “tranny” becoming the new “n-word”  RuPaul weighed in like this:

It’s ridiculous! It’s ridiculous! Words — it goes back to grade school: Sticks and stones, you know the rest. The thing is you have to look at the ego, you have to follow the money, and the payoff. And the payoff is that the ego wants attention no matter what. It will try to get it wherever the hell it can, whether it’s positive or negative. So you have to ignore it basically — you have to starve it out. And unfortunately in our culture one person can write a letter to the network and they shut something down. It’s unfortunate. But I love the word “tranny.”

And no one has ever said the word “tranny” in a derogatory sense. In fact, you have to go to the intent of the person saying it. Of course Lance Bass, his intent would never be to be derogatory. Never. So, you know, that’s really ridiculous. And I hate the fact that he’s apologized. I wish he would have said, “F-you, you tranny jerk!”

In the ACT UP age we called ourselves queers because we earned the right, we took the word back. But in reality, once you go even deeper, you know, you have to come from intent. And black folks call themselves the n-word all the time. It’s because the intent is coming from a place of love. If the intent is coming from a place of hatred, that’s different. But you can’t legislate intent. You can’t — there’s no way to do it. So, the truth is, you have to fix that individually on a one by one basis. If somebody calls you a green martian, would you be offended by it? No, you wouldn’t be. Why? Because you know you’re not a green martian. But if you’re offended by someone calling you a “tranny,” it was only because you believe you are a “tranny!” [laughter.] So then, the solution is: Change your mind about yourself being a “tranny.”

And thats NOT all she wrote!

Head on over to HuffPo Gay Voices to read the entire RuPaul interview.  (The come back to Back2Stonewall.com of course and leave a comment!)
