***Sometimes its very hard to take the high road when reporting that someone has died.   This is one of them.

Chuck Colson, Richard Nixon’s infamous “dirty tricks” henchman, notorious Watergate felon and anti-gay activist is dead at the age of 80 of a brain hemorrhage.

Charles W. Colson, the Republican political operative who boasted he would “walk over my own grandmother” to ensure the reelection of President Richard M. Nixon and went on to found a worldwide prison fellowship ministry after his conversion to evangelical Christianity, died April 21 Inova Fairfax Hospital. He was 80. Mr. Colson’s reputation as a “dirty tricks artist” overshadowed his achievements as a darkly brilliant political strategist.

He had helped lay the groundwork for the Nixon landslide of November 1972 by appealing to disgruntled Democrats and blue-collar minority voters. A self-described “hatchet man” for Nixon, Mr. Colson compiled the notorious “enemies list” of politicians, journalists and activists perceived as threats to the White House. And most fatefully, he helped orchestrate illegal activities to discredit former Pentagon official Daniel Ellsberg, who was suspected of leaking a top-secret history of the Vietnam War to the New York Times and The Washington Post.

And that’s just a taste of disgraceful legacy that Colson leaves behind.

Colson — who “found God” while serving a prison sentence as one of the Watergate Seven— became one of the most vocal was a chief religious flag wavers falsely claiming the rights of Christians are being compromised and was also one of  primary authors of the 2009 ”Manhattan Declaration: A Call of Christian Conscience,” an anti-gay , fascist, and faux religious contract that demands of signatories — more than 525,000 to date — that they should break the law should they perceive the law not squaring up with the Bible says.

The Declaration attacks same-sex marriage, homosexuality and  abortion, laments both society’s decoupling of marriage from childbearing and its growing acceptance of infidelity.

Colson repeatedly attacked same-sex marriage and homosexuality. He wrongly stated “homosexual behavior” is more “dangerous than smoking, it lowers the life expectancy dramatically.” Colson also falsely stated that legalizing same-sex marriage was “sanctioning behavior known to be dangerous.” And, again falsely, stated that gays and lesbians “don’t want marriage; they want their sexual choices affirmed as normal and moral.”

And as late as last year, despite years of research to the contrary, Colson was publicly advocating that homosexuality was both a choice and avoidable if parents “properly” raised their children. Colson pointed to the book “A Parent’s Guide to Preventing Homosexuality,” as the way to “learn more about what parents can do to lessen the chances their children will grow up homosexual.”

1. Colson said that anti-bullying laws are actually meant recruit children into homosexuality.
2. Chuck Colson stated that if gay people get any more civil rights, it will be time for Christians to revolt against the government.
3. According to Colson says  homofascists are repressing the religious freedom of Christians to oppress gay people.
4.Colson advocated that all school children need to be taught that God hates gay marriage.
5.  Colson  declared that if all Christians dis not sign the Manhattan Declaration, the Nazi party will take over America.
