French Magazine Responds To Firebombing By Putting Gay Muhammed On It’s Cover

French satire magazine Charlie Hebdo’s executive offices  were firebombed last week after the release of an issue “guest edited” by the one and only Muhammed himself. (“100 lashes if you don’t die of laughter!”)

Shortly after the firebombing Charlie Hebdo’s website was taken over  by a Turkish hackers group, who left the threatening message  “You keep abusing Islam’s almighty Prophet with disgusting and disgraceful cartoons using excuses of freedom of speech…Be God’s Curse On You! We Will be Your Curse on Cyber World!”

The editor of Charlie Hebdo, Stéphane Charbonnier, said at the time: “We thought the lines had moved and maybe there would be more respect for our satirical work, our right to mock. Freedom to have a good laugh is as important as freedom of speech.”

But the whole firebombing incident didn’t stop Charlie Hebdo from getting its next issue out this time featuring Muhammed in a big ole mano a mano kiss with Charlie Hebdro itself with a caption reading: L’Amour plus fort que la haine  (“Love is stronger than hate.”) in retaliation.

French politicians and the media have come came out in support of the magazine’s right to free speech, while French Muslim groups have  decried racism.

The “Ultra Conservative Christian” website, Christwire.org has gotten alot of  exposure lately in part thanks to an Aug. 14 column, “Is My Husband Gay? a 15-point checklist to help wives diagnose possibly closeted husbands, written by the now infamous Stephenson Billings which was picked up by even The Huffington Post and mentioned by Ryan Seacrest on his radio show.  (Well Ryan was probably just checking ot out to see hopw many of the 15 points he hit.)

Well today the New York Times broke the news.  CHRISTWIRE IS A JOKE!  LITERALLY!   The content, the opinions and the fake authors who write the stuff. (There is no “Stephenson Billings.”) Neither of the two founders is a conservative Christian. They are just like-minded 28-year-olds who met on the Internet, have never seen each other in person, and until this week had never given their real identities to a reporter.

And the BRILLANT minds behing Christwire belong to Bryan Butvidas is a software develope rfrom Southern California. and Kirwin Watson is a former Pepperdine student who now lives in Kansas.

Neither Mr. Watson nor Mr. Butvidas is a crusading atheist. Mr. Watson calls himself “an observant Catholic,” and Mr. Butvidas is a nondenominational Protestant who is “religious for the most part.” Their target, they say, is not Christians but those who do not question what they hear on the news.

“There’s just rampant idiocy in the media sometimes,” Mr. Watson said. “People watch their favorite news channels, don’t question it, and will regurgitate it the next day at the office. That is no good at all.

“Our main culprit,” he adds, “is Fox News.”

Marie Jon, who writes for the quite earnest conservative site RenewAmerica.com, used to allow her stories to be reposted to ChristWire. After I called her for this column, her editor at RenewAmerica wrote a letter to ChristWire asking that Ms. Jon’s writing — and her picture, which had run between photographs of men identified as “Jack Gould” and “S. Billings” — be removed.

I have to give credit where credit is due. A HUGE “Well Done!” goes to both Bryan Butvida and Kirwin Watson.

Wouldn’t it Be Ironic If Glenn Beck Was Really The Antichrist? – Because It Sure The Hell Looks Like He Might Be!

I was wondering the other day about how ironically funny it would be if Glenn Beck was really the Antichrist and he was leading all those right-wing loon pseudo Christians down the primrose path to Hell and Armageddon. (Come on in a bizarre way it would be hysterical, especially after all the self righteousness, pompusness, and stupidity)

So I did a little research on the Anti-Christ and there is some comparisons that I came up with……

Where does the Anti-Christ come from and how will we know him??
His economic origin is from social chaos – Revelation 17:5 with 13:1 – CHECK
He will be the product of iniquity – 2 Thessalonians 2:3, 7-8 – CHECK
He will have an inconspicuous beginning – Daniel 7:8; Revelation 6:1-2  – CHECK
He will enter into a covenant with many – Daniel 9:27  – CHECK
He will not answer to a higher earthly authority; “He will do as he pleases” – Daniel 11:36 – CHECK
He will hate a nation that initially will have some control over his kingdom, but he will destroy this nation  – Rev 17:16-18 – CHECK
He will appear to survive a fatal injury – Rev. 13:3; 17:8]  LINK – CHECK
 
He will be:
A great orator and demagogue – Daniel 7:8  – CHECK
A speaker with regal authority – Revelation 13:2  – CHECK

Hmmm?  Now I’m not especially religious myself.  I come from the laid back Lutheren’s who are “okay with gay” and just hang out and have bake sales and Christmas Cantatas but it is looking like the chubby little fucker Glenn Beck just MIGHT beThe Anti-Christ.

After all there is more proof and sense posted above than he’s ever given for any of his  arguments so it MUST be true!

Where the fuck is Gregory Peck when you need him? Oh wait.  Thats right he failed and there were three more sequels after that.  And he’s dead. 

Whatever will we do?
