RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 9 Contestant Aja Attacks the Gay “Cis” Community on TWITTER

RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 9 contestant Aja went to Twitter yesterday to attack gay men who she says ” mock or reject trans and gender non-binary people.”  Some of the worst tweets have been deleted but we have the Aja Twitter attack put in paragraph form.

At the airport for my flight Spain to Edinburgh so I can get to Dundee and I have some thoughts 💭

Why the fuck is the idea of being a gender non-conformist or non-binary so riddling to people in society? Including the gays?

It’s almost like after all the things we’ve gone through as a community and all you’ve learned is to do exactly what society did to you?

I read an entire thread of comments on my videos of me explaining why I didn’t want to be labeled as just a drag queen and honestly I wasn’t going to say anything but bitch, have y’all looked in the mirror?

Y’all are still some soggy ass GAYS who are looked down at in society and bigoted against! Have you realized people still make fun of you and people still say your choices are not correct? That your lifestyle doesn’t MAKE SENSE?

Now, with that being said. When did it become your job to monitor or control anyone’s gender? Including saying that people are trans for attention, bashing femmes, enforcing social heteronormative constructs, etc. Wtf? Really?

Seeking masculine men and a quick fuck discreetly because you’re too much of a coward to be seen in society as the faggots you are? Or questioning everything femme you do in fear of being labeled as femme by people who’s opinions don’t matter?

Here’s the ☕ baby. Gender non-conformists, gender queers, non-binary folks and more are changing the game. We are making the field a safer place for you, by willingly being our selves and not giving a fuck what society says because we are BRAVE.

When you had a dick in your ass last night and let that random guy cum inside of you for a cheap thrill and then walked home in shame of who you really are, what did you contribute to our community? In comparison to someone just living their truth.

So other people in our big – be mindful of those who are paving the way for you to even be yourself, and be mindful that our community is held under a Lens of hate in the world. Instead of moving backward let’s move forward and listen to what your community has to say

Be inclusive of the entire trans community because they are literal angels and are so important. Including non binary, genderqueers, etc. Have respect, and be thankful.

And don’t tell someone who says they’re not labeling their art as drag this bullshit:

OH AND MOTHAFUCKIN LASTLY – It is not funny when you hoes be like “oh I’m gonna identity as a dog  now” “oh I’m a tree today ” as a mockery to gender identities. It’s not funny and you look like a fuckin idiot.

Miss Thing take two Pamprin and call us in the morning. Perhaps you didn’t know but using the term “fa**ot” is just as bad as using the term “tra**y” and you DO NOT get a pass.

*Since so many people are visiting this post since they are OUTRAGED that someone can be offended by Aja’s rant. How about you read something newsworthy that you should be outraged about and fighting against.

RuPaul ‘Probably’ Wouldn’t Accept A Trans Contestant On ‘Drag Race’, SJW’s Heads Explode

In a profile interview with The Guardian, RuPaul, host of VH1’s RuPaul’s Drag Race, was asked whether he would accept a post-transition transgender contestant on the show.

Calling transgender drag an “interesting area,” RuPaul explained why he probably would not accept a post-transition contestant on the show.

“Probably not,” RuPaul said. “You can identify as a woman and say you’re transitioning, but it changes once you start changing your body.”

“It takes on a different thing; it changes the whole concept of what we’re doing. We’ve had some girls who’ve had some injections in the face and maybe a little bit in the butt here and there, but they haven’t transitioned.”

“It takes on a different thing; it changes the whole concept of what we’re doing. We’ve had some girls who’ve had some injections in the face and maybe a little bit in the butt here and there, but they haven’t transitioned.”

“At the core [drag is] a social statement and a big fuck you to male-dominated culture. So for men to do it, it’s really punk rock, because it’s a real rejection of masculinity.  You can identify as a woman and say you’re transitioning, but it changes once you start changing your body.” RuPaul added.

Of course this statement caused some social justice warriors heads to explode and none no more than that of Rose Dommu the infamous clickbait POPNOGRAPHY “writer” at OUT.com.

 Dommu writes:

These statements go to show how antiquated RuPaul’s conceptions of trans identity and the queering of gender really are. For someone who is deservedly lauded as an icon of genderfuckery, the fact that RuPaul still sees drag as a boys’ club is disappointing, not to mention the fact that he reduces trans identity to whether or not a person has had surgery. The notion that the only true power to be found in an art form that has expanded so much since RuPaul came up seems insulting in the face of the incredible female artists — both cisgender and trans — who are doing drag today, largely thanks to the influence of Drag Race.”

Dommu who does absolutely no research on what she writes and lets her Social Justice Warrior privilege dictate her posts refuses to understand that drag queens (first use in print, 1941) are stereotypically viewed to be gay men that dress in drag, either as part of a performance or for personal fulfillment. The term drag queen distinguishes them from transvestites, transsexuals or transgender people. Doing drag here often includes wearing dramatically heavy makeup, wigs and prosthetic devices as part of the costume.

Drag performance and cross dressing also has a very long history as performance art, actors in Shakespearean plays, and all Elizabethan theatre, were all male; female parts were played by young men in drag. Shakespeare used the conventions to enrich the gender confusions of As You Like It, and Ben Jonson manipulated the same conventions in Epicœne, or The Silent Woman, (1609)

Among contemporary drag performers, the theatrical drag queen or street queen may at times be seen less as a “female impersonator” per se, but simply as a drag queen, and the role of the queen existing as an identity based in neither mainstream male nor mainstream female conventions. Examples include The Cockettes or Danny La Rue.

Bottom line. Transitioning women ARE women.. Meaning they aren’t a drag queen.. When you start transitioning and transform your body into who it truly is then you aren’t exhibiting the art of the transformation. So I for one say THANK YOU to  RuPaul for keeping the performance essence and history of drag intact.

As for Rose Dommu she should keep her blatant homophobia and dragphobia to herself and OUT.com should have fired her privileged Social Justice Warrior ass after her infamous Dear Gay Men, Stop Telling Women They Can’t Be in Gay Bars post last year.

Out.com must really need the clicks.

Comcast TV Bans Boy Butter Commercial In Chicago Starring Red Hot Seth Fornea

Homophobic Comcast Bans Boy Butter Commercial In Chicago Starring Red Hot Seth Fornea

The brand new Boy Butter commercial, starring red hot ginger Seth Fornea (pictured above) currently airing on this season of Rupaul’s Drag Race on VH1 in NYC, LA, San Diego and nationwide on Canada’s OutTV was banned from airing on cable TV in Chicago by ComCast TV.

Despite having no problem airing 2015 Carl’s Jr. Super Bowl ad starring Charlotte McKinney, which is basically porn in comparison. A sexy busty woman being suggestive and showing a lot of skin is fine but if you just replace that woman with a hot gay man, it is a much different story.

“I think it’s Chicago’s loss and a clear representation of how shamed and stigmatized our sexuality is.” says Daniel Robinson, the director/producer of this banned Boy Butter commercial.

“It’s ‘a sexist and homophobic double standard’ said Eyal Feldman, who founded Boy Butter. He added: ‘My hope is that by continuing to push the boundaries of what is acceptable and palatable on TV, Boy Butter can create a space where gay men can watch images of themselves, not only in the shows that we watch but also the advertising that sponsors them.’

RuPaul’s Drag Race Sends A Message To Mary Cheney – Video

Nice Cliff’s Notes version of the history of drag and cross-dressing even though it dates far back to past Shakespearean times.

One small note thou just to to keep our overall LGBT history straight for lack of a better word.

While Marsha P. Johnson and Sylvia Rivera were involved in the 3 days of rioting because of the Stonewall Riots  in 1969 in New York City.  But neither Marsha or Sylvia were present at the actual police action at the bar itself.

Back rolls!

A Carnival Cruise That Features Drag Queen Stars But Doesn’t Want Them To Dress In Drag?

What happens when you have a ban on cross dressing on your cruise ship then have an event featuring drag queens? Drama is what happens. Apparently the people of the Carnival Glory cruise ship failed to see how this was going to be an issue.

See, they decided to invite contestants from RuPaul’s Drag Race for an event called Drag Stars at Sea to have a star studded performance on this voyage through the seas. But then they issued a letter to these drag stars to not dress in drag in undesignated parts of the ship so it wouldn’t upset the people on ship. Here’s an excerpt of that email:

“Carnival attracts a number of families with children and for this reason; we strive to present a family friendly atmosphere. It is important to us that all guests are comfortable with every aspect of the cruise. Although we realize this group consists solely of adults, we nonetheless expect all guests to recognize that minors are onboard and, refrain from engaging in inappropriate conduct in public areas. … Guests are not allowed to dress in drag for the performances or in public areas at any time during the cruise. We’re sorry to say that any guest who violates our policies and/or whose behavior affects the comfort and enjoyment of other guests, will be disembarked at their own expense and no refund will be given.”

What does this cruise ship think drag queens are? They shouldn’t have to hide who they are. That’s the impression that this email leaves when they treat it as something that needs to be hidden from the rest of the passengers on the ship. As a result, there was a lot of public outcry from potential passengers on this cruise set to take place next week.  So then the president of Carnival,  Gerry Cahill, issued this statement:

“Within the last 24 hours, we became aware of a miscommunication between Carnival Cruise Lines and AlandChuck.travel, who have booked a large special interest group on the upcoming Carnival Glorycruise departing December 2, 2012.

The group, ‘Drag Stars at Sea,’ includes several performances by stars from Logo TV as part of a series of private events onboard. When the group was presented to us we were advised that only the performers would be dressed in drag during the private events. However, we are now aware that this was not clearly communicated to members of the group and therefore anyone who wishes to dress in drag may do so.  Please keep in mind that our safety and security procedures require guests to present government-issued ID, and to be recognizably that person.

At Carnival, we are proud to carry more than 4.5 million guests every year and we welcome them all aboard. We do not practice any form of discrimination against the LGBT or any other community. We sincerely apologize for the miscommunication and for any unintended offense we have caused.”

Okay, so now they say you have to match the identity of you identification for security purposes. It seems kind of sketchy to me, like this was an afterthought on the part of Carnival. I mean it is valid when you’re in the waters of other countries to have proper ID that matches you in any case, but this isn’t what the original email said. The original message talks about “family”  and being “comfortable”. What do you think?
