David Pakman, sane America’s posterboy and internationally syndicated talk radio and television program had a phone interview last night on Battle Line with Alan Nathan (Who thinks he’s Dennis Miller but in reality is more like Dennis the Menace) discussing the effect of rhetoric, political blame from both sides, and more, on the Gabrielle Giffords shooting.
Nathan who used the standard studio tricks of having his mic volume much higher than Pakman’s and controlling the conversation at one point brings up Rev. Jeremiah Wright to prove a point, Even though there is no connection as a “trigger” for his listeners to agree, get angry and to make a point.
Sarah Palin Leaves Up Horrid Facebook Post About Murdered 9 Year Old Christina Taylor Green While Deleting Negaitve Comments About Herself
In what has to be one of the most truly disgusting, despicable, and insensitive posts and turn of events on the Internet yesterday to do with the shootings in Arizona over at Sarah Palins Facebook page while Ms. Palin or her staff of fellow loons were busy scrubbing off every negative comment about Palin that appeared on within minutes of posting at 18:12 a posting from a horrid subhuman thing named Tina King posted:
“It’s ok. Christina Taylor Green was probably going to end up a left wing bleeding heart liberal anyway. Hey, as ‘they’ say, what would you do if you had the chance to kill Hitler as a kid? Exactly.”
Christina Taylor Green was the innocent 9 year old that was shot and killed.
Did the Palin camp delete this comment NO. It stayed up. Even as they moved forward deleting other anti-Palin posts that appeared well after it.
THIS is who Sarah Palin and her people really are. Make no argument about it.
The failure to remove a highly insensitive and offensive remark about a dead child… a dead 9-year-old child… is so… abhorrent. And this, from a person (and her staff) who portrays herself as a right-to-life advocates is truly disgusting beyond words. I guess the right to life does not apply to 9-year-old children as long as Palin is defended first.

More Violent Rhetoric: Gifford Tea Party Opponent Jesse Kelly In AZ Campaign Material Used Automatic Weapons
The point here is not that there is any connection between this random post and political violence. The point is the worldview Palin holds. It is zero-sum. It expresses itself in clear and stark violent imagery. It is constantly about attack, conflict, combat, “enemy territory”, “Big Guns”, battle. This rhetorical background is so deeply part of the narrative we barely notice it any more. But it is not truly the language of politics; it’s the language of war“If you are not disturbed by what it proclaims as the essence of true conservatism – a sunglasses wearing soldier with a machine gun in his open crotch – you should be.”
I never thought I would agree with anything Sullivan said, but this time he has nailed it with this one.

Tonight Obama Will Call For A Repeal Of "Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell" During His State of the Union Adress – Same Shit, Different Day.

According to White House Senior Adviser David Axelrod tonight Obama will call for a repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’………once again.
Obama has called for a repeal time and time again. Amd frankly with his numbers and popularity in the toilet with thye LGBT Community its insulting that he’ll once again try to dupe us into liking him and thinking he’s doing something for us by standing at a podium making hollow promises.
What is needed is action, not more rhetoric.
As a bi-racial man of color you’d think that Obama would see that this is a civil rights issue, we don’t need debate from Congress or the American people. The President has within his power to right a wrong and thus far has chosen to do nothing.
Sign an Executive Order to STOP the discarges and witch hunts of Gay and Lesbian soilders until Congress takes it up and does something.
Grow some balls, be a man. and do whats right Obama.
Perhaps if you had a spine you wouldn’t be in the situation you are in right now.
Because your words and promises mean nothing to us anymore.
