Tony Perkins FRC Hate Group President "Gays Are TERRORISTS!" – Lets Have A Look At Your Past Fatwas, Shall We?

This has moved from cultural terrorism to corporate terrorism. That’s what this is. Now, back in the 80’s and early 90’s I worked with the state department in anti-terrorism and we trained about fifty different countries in defending against terrorism, and it’s, at it’s base, what terrorism is, it’s a strike against the general populace simply to spread fear and intimidation so that they can disrupt and destabilize the system of government. That’s what the homosexuals are doing here to the legal system.” – Family Research Council President Ms.Tony Perkins, on King & Spalding’s DOMA withdrawal.

What a drama queen!  And totally hypocritical from a the Religious Right which has a long and dark history of “terrorism”

*  Jan 21, 1966 – Ralph Abernathy, vice president of King’s Southern Christian Leadership Con ference, discussed plans for the boycott at a meeting of Negroes here “SCLC is going to turn Birmingham, Ala., upside down

* 1984 – Such disclaimers failed to convince the watchful religious Right. During his American tour in 1984, Mormon elders at Brigham Young University decided he had come to advocate perversion and banned his posters and records. When it was learned that Boy George would make his television advertising debut touting Nabisco Shredded Wheat, flyers distributed in Toronto called for a boycott.

*  May 8, 1993 – The leader of a new, influential anti-Amendment 2 group hopes the national boycott of Colorado may be subsiding. Linda Fowler, director of the Colorado Alliance to Restore Equality, said attention then could focus on broader homosexual-related civil-rights issues

* Jun 1996 – The AFA boycott of Disney received support in June 1996 from the Southern Baptist Conference, which announced that it was joining the AFA boycott forces to demand that Disney discontinue its “gay-friendly” policies

* Oct 26, 2004 – Christians who support “traditional marriage” should choose their laundry detergent and toothpaste very carefully. That’s what some antigay religious leaders are urging in light of Procter & Gamble’s efforts to repeal an antigay ordinance in Cincinnati where P&G is headquartered.

* Dec 15, 2005 – CHICAGO (AFX) – A conservative Christian group has made fresh threats to boycott Ford vehicles after the automaker said it would resume advertising in gay publications. The American Family Association, which claims more than three mln supporters

* Mar 15, 2006 – Other groups joining the boycott include the Center for Reclaiming America, Coalitions for America, and the Liberty Counsel. “Ford has the right to financially support homosexual groups promoting homosexual marriage, but at the same time, consumers have a right not to purchase their cars.

And this is just a very small portion of the religious rights “terrorism” which they seem to so quickly forget.

And speaking of forgetting Tony.  Since you brought up the 90’s how about finally explaining your connection to David Duke and the KKK?

Inquiring terrorist want to know.

Nevada Republican and ‘Independent American Party’ Senate Candidate Sharron Angle Linked To Newspaper Insert That Called The LGBT Community: "Sodomites and child-molesting, HIV-carrying, Hell-bound freaks"

Turns out that the far-right third party that Nevada GOP Senate candidate Sharron Angle called home in the 1990s Nevada’s Independent American Party, ran a vitriolic anti-gay insert in state newspapers that portrays LGBT people — or, as Angle’s party called them, “sodomites” — as child-molesting, HIV-carrying, Hell-bound freaks.

Angle was a member of Nevada’s Independent American Party, a Christian conservative-cum-libertarian third party, for at least six years while she was getting her feet wet in politics in the 1990s. Independent American Party members told us that Angle switched to be a Republican in 1997 for greater support as she was preparing to make a run for state-level office.

In a 1992 petition, signed and circulated by Angle, that was part of a successful push to get the Independent American Party on the ballot. It features the Independent American manifesto — including the acknowledgment “That many Americans have ignored the Laws of God.”

In 1994, the party attracted considerable controversy by placing a 16-page advertising insert in Nevada newspapers promoting an amendment to the state constitution that would explicitly permit discrimination against LGBT people by businesses and government.

Janine Hansen, the current executive director of the party and the editor of the ’94 insert, told TPM earlier this month that “in general [Angle] agreed with our position on the issues. The ad insert, which approvingly cites an 1814 legal treatise titled “Consequences of Sodomy: Ruin of a Nation,” is a digest of articles that refer to LGBT people alternately as “homosexuals,” “sodomites,” and “brazen perverts.” The insert includes virtually every homophobic myth ever conceived.

Homosexuals argue that they are a peaceful and gay people. Yet … Dr. Paul Cameron of the Family Research Report writes “the top six U.S. male killers were all homosexuals.”

Sample headlines included: “Homosexual Curriculum In The First Grade” … “Flawed Science Nurtures Genetic Origin For Homosexuality” … “No Constitutional Right To Be A Sodomite.” Here’s a passage from an item headlined “True Homosexual Character Revealed”:

Probably the coup de grace of the insert is the article “Can the HIV Virus Survive in Water?”. Writer Lorraine Day, M.D., concluded that yes, the virus can survive in the water. Citing medical journal articles, she raised the specter of HIV infection through public pools, hot tubs, and municipal water supplies

How fucking evil are you Sharron Angle?

We need to shut this cuntlet DOWN!

The infamous insert…

McHating It! McDonalds COO Don Thompson: Micky D’s WILL NOT Show Gay Themed Commercials In The United States

In an interview with the Chicago Tribune, Don Thompson, McDonald’s COO, explains that McDonalds will not air a gay audience targeted ad like the one that aired in France despite the fact that the foreign spot has resulted in “no negatives”

Cultures are very different around the world. (For instance), I’ve never shied away from the fact that I’m a Christian. I have my own personal beliefs and I don’t impose those on anybody else. I’ve been in countries where the majority of the people in the country don’t believe in a deity or they may be atheist. Or the majority of the country is Muslim. Or it may be the majority is much younger skewed. So when you look at all these differences, it’s not that I’m to be the judge or the jury relative to right or wrong. Having said that, at McDonald’s, there are core values we stand for and the world is getting much closer. So we have a lot of conversations. We’re going to make some mistakes at times. (We talk) about things that may have an implication in one part of the world and may be the cultural norm in another part of the world. And those are things that, yes, we’re going to learn from. But, you’re right, that commercial won’t show in the United States. Interestingly enough, there have been no negatives coming out of France. The brand is a local brand and different things will occur in different parts of the world. We just have to make sure that we understand the impact one action may make on another part of the world.

Yet another reason to avoid McDonalds here in USA. Homophobia, Christer Anti-Gay Theology, and french fries that will  never be as good as they used to be.

Oh, and by the way Don.  Your Iced Coffee McSUCKS!

God Smites Giant Jesus Statue With Lightning During Severe Thunder Storm In Ohio (Video)

A large statue of Jesus (That looks like Zombie Jesus rising from the ground) that has been seen by millions across the country was destroyed by a fire late Monday night. The King of Kings statue that stood outside the Solid Rock Church located on Union Road just off Interstate 75 is now in ruins. Only a few wire frames are still standing. Officials are still investigating, but lightning is likely what sparked the blaze. The fire also damaged the attic of the church’s amphitheater.
This is not right,” a church member named Gifty says. “We just all have to go on our faith and ask God. This cannot be a coincidence.”
You’re so right “Gifty”
Commandment #2..’You shall not make for yourself a carved image–any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.’

Just a thought to ponder upon maybe..
