Join National President Tony Reardon, congressional leaders, other labor leaders, NTEU members and federal employees from across government to publicly call for an end to the shutdown, demand that federal employees be paid promptly, and that the federal workforce be given a pay raise this year.

Via The Daily Beast

White nationalist James Alex Fields Jr. on Tuesday was sentenced to life in prison, plus 419 years, after being convicted of murdering anti-racism protester Heather Heyer during the 2017 “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville.

Fields, a 21-year-old Ohio native, received his life sentence just days after being convicted of first-degree murder for the vehicular rampage, which killed Heyer, 32, and injured dozens of other people protesting against the white-nationalist rally.

In total, Fields was convicted Friday on ten charges, including five counts of aggravated malicious wounding, three counts of malicious wounding, and one count of failing to stop at an accident involving a death. Six of those counts had a maximum sentence of life in prison.

Happy Holidays, little Nazi bitch boy!

KKK Members Stab 2 Protestors At White Supremacist Rally Turned Riot In Anaheim, CA – Video

Ku Klux Klan rally in Anaheim

A  Ku Klux Klan rally in Anaheim, California, turned bloody as the Klansmen wearing Confederate patches attacked two counter-protesters. Both were stabbed, with one in critical condition after being reportedly pierced with the point of a flag in “self defense”. The Grand Dragon and five other Klansmen have been arrested.

Anaheim police expected about 20 members of the notorious hate group to rally at Pearson Park. The theme of the event was to be “White Lives Matter Too.”  By 11 a.m., several dozen protesters had shown up to confront the Klan.

By 11 a.m., several dozen counter- protesters had shown up to confront the Klan.

Fighting broke out moments after Klan members arrived. At some point, a protester collapsed on the ground bleeding, crying that he had been stabbed.  A Klansman in handcuffs could be heard telling a police officer that he “stabbed him in self-defense.” Several other people were also handcuffed.

Brian Levin, director of Cal State San Bernardino’s Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism, said he was standing near the KKK members when several protesters attacked.

Several of the Klan members jumped in the SUV and sped off, leaving three others to “fend for themselves,” Levin said.

Levin had been trying to interview the KKK ringleader, whom he identified as William Quigg, an Anaheim resident.

The Klan rally — to decry, as one of them put it, “illegal immigration and Muslims” — was initially planned for 1:30 p.m., police said.

“I was expecting violence — but it’s disgusting,” said Nick Keeton, 18, of Anaheim. “I feel like this is 1953 and we’re in Kentucky.”

Martin Buenorostro said a friend was wounded when one of the Klan members began using a flagpole as a weapon to fend off the crowd surrounding their vehicle.

“They started pulling out weapons,” Buenorostro said of the Klansmen. “One of them had the flag, the American flag, with the pointed top and I think that’s what got my friend. It’s a serious wound. It wasn’t like the blood was dripping out. It gushed out of him.”

Six Klan members (five men and one woman) and seven protesters (six men and one woman) were arrested, Wyatt said.

The Klan members were arrested in connection with the stabbings. The protesters were arrested on charges related to physical assaults on Klan members.

Both sides say that the other started it.

Rally 1

Crowd of 700+ LGBT and Straight Allies Rally In Cincinnati During 6th Circuit Same Sex Marriage Hearing – Outnumber Anti-Gay Protesters 35 to 1

A crowd estimated at well over 700 people gathered at Cincinnati, Ohio’s Fountain Square today to rally and show their support for same sex marriage at a rally put together Joshua Snyder-Hill, James Gutierrez-Winnettand Freedom to Marry Ohio while a three-judge panel of the 6th. U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals is hearing cases from Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky and Tennessee relating to recognizing same-sex marriages performed in other states and allowing same-sex marriages themselves.

Over a dozen speaks took to the stage, including myself to speak out for not only same-sex marriage but for full state and federal equality also.

Jim Obergefell who married John Arthur in Maryland shortly before Arthur, who suffered from ALS, died last fall too to the stage and told of his fight  to keep his name on Arthur’s death certificate as corrupt Attorney General Mike DeWine fights for the state of Ohio to remove it.

“The death certificate showed he was married and I was the surviving spouse,” said Obergefell, “It means we exist. The state wants to erase those facts. It is not right, not fair and downright disrespectful.”

Other speakers included:  Cincinnati City Councilman Chris Seelbach,  Democrat David Pepper who is running to unseat Ohio’s anti-gay Attorney General Mike DeWine, and Micheal Chanax who gave a heartfelt remembrance speech for Worley Rodehaver longtime editor of Cincinnati’s GLBT News,  community volunteer, and activist who passed away on July 23, 2014 and did not live to see this day.

The Citizens for Community Values run by Phil Burress and is not only officially “affiliated” with the anti-gay hate groups the Family Research Council and the American Family Association but also helped write Onio’s SuperDOMA that banned same-sex marriage warned that “God’s design for marriage is under attack!” and urged its followers to gather outside the courthouse to pray on Wednesday at the same time of the rally.  Only 20 showed up and Phil Burress was nowhere to be seen.

17 Year Old Brings Hundreds Of People To Cincinnati, OH In Support Of Same Sex Marriage

Cincinnati, OH is not known to be a hotbed of LGBT activism.  But that didn’t stop 17 year old high school student Adam Hoover, who as I posted here yesterday with the help of his friend  Nicholas David Wymer, and later The Catholic Reformed Church, Northern Kentucky University, GetEQUAL and Equality Ohio  to gather an estimated crowd  of 700 to 900 at its largest point to protest for same sex marriage and LGBT equality rights in Ohio yesterday.

17 year old Adam Hoover leads the protest for LGBT Equailty in Ohio

Adam who originally thought up the protest only a month ago used social media sites like Facebook and YouTube to promote it before and after his days at school and did so because he believes that “Everyone has their God-given right to marry the one they love.”

Micheal Chanak a longtime LGBT advocate and activist who serves at  Cincinnati’s LGBT Cnter was ecstatic that someone in Cincinnati was actually doing something to lead the charge for LGBT Equality in Cincinnati stating ” (This is the) First major protest in Cincinnati since the Anti Prop 8  rally in front of City Hall on November 15, 2008.  Thank the Goddess.”

In a telephone interview with B2S.com Adam stated that he called both Equality Cincinnati and HRC Cincinnati both of which are supposedly the city’s largest LGBT rights groups, both of which who have a checkered past in Cincinnati and they never called him back.  So he reached out to Equality Ohio who weer more than happy to pitch in to help with the protest and rally.

Said Adam, “I want to be able to change stuff in Ohio. I don’t want to be that person that doesn’t do stuff. I want to be the person that is there for everyone. No matter what I do, I just want to be there.”

Looks like Equality Cincinnati and HRC Cincinnati could learn a lot from Adam.

Congratulations on the successful rally and protest Adam.  We need more like you not only in Ohio but across the country

Video: HUNDREDS Rally and Protest HJR6 Bill In Indiana That Will Ban Gay Marriage

Hundreds took to the streets of Indiana to protest against  bill HJR6 which will because of  bill’s language, which says “a legal status identical or substantially similar to that of marriage for unmarried individuals shall not be valid or recognized,”  will ban not only same-sex marriage but like it’s neighbor Ohio the bill will also ensure that civil unions would not be recognized either.

Howard Dean Speaks At The Repeal DADT Rally – Six Protestors Chain Themselves To The White House Fence……Again (Video)

The man who SHOULD have been President 6 years ago if it wasn’t for the media Howard Dean, spontaneously took the stage at Get EQUAL’s DADT Rally in Washington, DC today.

Below thanks to John avarois at AmericaBlog we have both video of Howard Dean speaking and Lt. Dan Choi  just as the activists handcuff themselves at the White House. The video then moves across the street to the White House and the activists.

Call To Action! – May 2nd: GetEQUAL To Rally In DC! – BE THERE IF YOU CAN! (Video)

Yes, I know it’s short notice but GetEQUAL has  announced that there will be a rally in Washington DC on Sunday, May 2, 2010 to pressure the President with the demand he transmit IMMEDIATELY to the Senate Armed Service Committee the language for repeal into the Defense Authorization Bill.

If you can be there PLEASE GO!  (And bring your own handcuffs!)

WE NEED TO MAKE A SYMBOLIC SHOW TOGETHER.  Gay, Lesbian, Transgendered,  Ex-Military, Straight Gay friendly activist!  We NEED TO DO THIS!

If these Equality issues were about African Americans. Jews, Women, or any Nationality or Class  there would be many more civil disobediences than this and most probably rioting in the streets

Our own worst enemy now are within our own community.  And they are the namby pamby Uber PC Homos who are content to ask nicely and sit in the back of the bus forever.

So it’s up to the rest of us to make a stand.

If you can go PLEASE be there.

BREAKING NEWS – Lt. Dan Choi Has Handcuffed Himself To The White House Fence In Protest Of "Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell" – AWESOME!

At this moment with the HRC’s DADT Rally starring Kathy Griffin being over and the Senate Armed Services Committee hearings wrapped Lt. Dan Choi has had enoough and has marched to The White House with Captain Jim Pietrangelo and both have chanied themselves to the White House fence.

This all began when (according to Tweets from Robin McGehee at GetEqual) (reporting from the Kathy Griffin – Human Rights Campaign “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” rally, McGehee, who is traveling with Lt. Dan Choi, asked Human Rights Campaign President Joe Solmonese if Choi could speak at the rally and he rebuffed her, telling her it was Kathy Griffin’s rally.

Choi took the stage anyway, told Griffin DADT is not a joke, and announced that he was marching to the White House. Choi then began leading hundreds on a march to the White House. (While Joe Solmonese stayed at the Rally site with Griffin for photo-ops.  Disgusting)

Reports are now coming in that Choi has chained himself to the White House fence.

According to DC Agenda’s Tweet, “Yellow police tape is being put up around Dan Choi, and Secret Service agents are standing with him. Choi remains chained.”

Approximately seven Secret Service Agents are inside the tape with Choi.

Reportedly one woman has been arrested, and is being identified by DC Agenda as the co-chair of GetEqual – which would be Robin McGehee.

1:21 pm: According to D.C. Agenda, police are not attempting to disperse the crowd and 20 Secret Service are on the scene. A crowd of 50 is chanting “Keep your promise, Obama” and “Repeal DADT”.

Finally some REAL action and protest.  Thank you Dan Choi.

And to Joe Solmonese and the HRC once again you have proved you are nothing but media whores and NOT truly commited to our cause.
