Goldman Sachs Encourages Employees to Use Gender-Neutral Pronouns ‘Ze/Zir’

Must be getting close to Pride Month.

Goldman Sachs who has been greatly criticized, particularly in the aftermath of the financial crisis of 2007–2008, where it misled its investors and profited from the collapse of the mortgage market is being coitized one again. This time internally because of a pamphlet to employees that was drafted by the investment bank’s internal LGBT group and encourages staff to use recently developed gender-neutral pronouns, including “Ze” and “Zir.”

“Ze went to the store. I spoke with zir/zem. The apple was zirs/zes,” reads one example of the employee guide and also instructs employees to “replace gendered language with gender-inclusive language wherever possible (e.g. ‘hi all vs. ‘hi guys’).”

Goldman Sachs also offered eight “Tips for Being An Inclusive Ally” that include suggestions such as “Be Proactive, ” “No Assumptions,” and “Handling Mistakes.”

It’s unclear how Goldman enforces its pronoun guidelines and whether employees who refuse to abide by it are punished.  Back2Stonewall has reached out to the firm for clarification.

Oh and by the way. In June of 2020 Goldman Sachs settled and anti-LGBT discrimination case over a male employee who was fired after being told ‘he sounded too gay’

Tampa’s ABC affiliate: Florida lawmakers introduced legislation to prohibit someone describing themselves or others with pronouns besides the ones they were born with, at least in the context of the Florida education system. It also expands bans on sexual orientation and gender identity topics in schools from kindergarten to third grade, as set up by Florida’s “Parental Rights in Education/Don’t Say Gay” bill to pre-K through eighth grade instead. Rep. Adam Anderson (R-Palm Harbor) proposed the legislation Tuesday. The bill also applies to more than just public schools in Florida, when it comes to instruction on sexual orientation or gender identity, building on HB 1557 directly for both public and charter schools in Florida.

We are currently at stage 7. They’re making discrimination and active persecution legal

Stage 8 will occur if the government shifts red again unless we get off our collective asses and do something,

Music legend Sir Bob Geldof left certain This Morning viewers furious after Sir Bob Geldof repeatedly misgendered Sam Smith on Wednesday on UK television.

Bob appeared as a guest to discuss a wide range of topics, including the sad death of his Boomtown Rats bandmate Garry Roberts and the impact Band Aid has had over the years. amd also discussed the upcoming 40th anniversary of Band Aid when he mentioned Sam Smith and their part in the song which was released back in 2014.

The Boomtown Rats singer repeatedly misgendered Smith – who identifies as non-binary and has asked people to use the pronouns ‘they/them’ when being addressed.

Talking about the 40th anniversary of Band Aid Geldof recalled Smith’s performance in the song released back in 2014.:

“Sam Smith, I remember him at the microphone had his eyes closed, and he was singing away to the song, and I said ‘Sam, they’re not the words’. He goes, ‘oh yeah, sorry’. “Because we had re-written the words for I think the Ebola crisis in west Africa.” “And he says ‘sorry’, so off he goes, he closes his eyes again and he starts singing the original words. I said ‘Sam’, and he goes ‘oh yes, sorry, every year in school I have to sing this song'”.

Earlier this month Ranvir Singh referred to the non-binary star as ‘he’ during a segment on Good Morning Britain.

A California man who was upset by Merriam-Webster’s inclusive gender definitions threatened to bomb the publisher’s offices and sent “threatening and despicable” messages targeting the LGBT community.

Jeremy David Hanson, 34, was arrested Tuesday and charged with one count of interstate communication of threats to commit violence i  in October, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts announced Friday. Prosecutors say Hanson used the “Contact Us” page on Merriam-Webster’s website to send threatening messages and comments “demonstrating bias against specific gender identities.” Under the handle @anonYmous, he also made threats in the comment sections of webpages for the word entries “Girl” and “Woman.” 

Hanson was released on conditions after an initial federal court appearance, prosecutors said. He is set to return to court on April 29. His charge carries a sentence of up to five years in prison, three years of supervised release and a fine of $250,000.

A transgender woman became furious after accidentally being misgendered and being called “sir” instead of “ma’am” at a GameStop in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

A video of the incident shows the woman angrily demanding their “fucking money back” from a male employee who accidentally used the word “sir”.

To make matters worse a nearby customer with her young son enraged the woman further by misgendering her again saying: “Excuse me sir, there is a young man in here you need to watch your mouth.”

And that’s when all hell broke loose.

“Excuse me, it is ma’am, it is ma’am! You need to settle down and mind your business, ok?! The trans woman screamed back at the customer.

The sales clerk tried and calm the situation down but was then yelled at again.

She told him: “Motherfucker, take it outside if you want to call me sir again. I will show you a fucking sir.”

The customer then stormed out, kicking over a huge pile of equipment with a loud crash.

But apparently changing her mind, the shopper charged back again to demand the corporate headquarters phone number.

In a video, published on Friday, she told him: “I am going to tell them how I have been misgendered several times in this store.

As she irate woman finally left the store she told the clerk that she would inform the “entire LGBT community”.
