FRC Hate Group Leader Tony Perkins: Legalizing Homosexuality Has Led To Legalizing Polygamy

Evil Prayers

“Recognizing that their destinies are very much intertwined, polygamists are using the same playbook as their same-sex ‘marriage’ counterparts: Step one: overturn the law. Step two: demand recognition. Step three: force acceptance. Ten years ago, Justice Antonin Scalia predicted exactly that in Lawrence v. Texas, the Supreme Court decision rolling back sodomy statutes. With prophetic insight, he pointed to the threat to state laws ‘based on moral choices’ against ‘bigamy, same-sex marriage, adult incest, prostitution… adultery, fornication, bestiality, and obscenity.’ Anyone being intellectually honest knew this was where liberals were pushing America. Of course, the media for years laughed off groups like FRC who warned that the Left’s goal isn’t same-sex “marriage” but any kind of marriage.” -Family Reserach Council President and White Supremacist Tony Perkins, in an  email complaining that the media is ignoring the Utah ruling because they’re afraid of the gays.

Blah blah blah blah blah.

Homophobe is as homophobe does.

Why doesn’t CNN ever report on this?

CNN Allows FRC Hate Group Leader Tony Perkins To Lie About LGBT Rights Unchecked – Video

Tony Perkins FRC KKK

On Monday’s edition of Erin Burnett OutFront on CNN hosted by Jake Tapper a potyion of the show focused on District Court Judge Clark Waddoups stricking down of a portion of Utah’s anti-polygamy statute which aimed at prohibiting polygamous cohabitation.  And of course they invite on Tony Perkins, president of the SPLC hate group certified Family Research Council (FRC), totalk about it and baselessly accuse marriage equality of creating a slippery slope to polygamy after asking him whether the growing acceptance of homosexuality was to blame for the decriminalization of polygamous relationships in Utah.

Perkins, who routinely links homosexuality to pedophilia and refers to homosexuality as a “lifestyle” of “perversion,” was all-too-happy to use this opportunity to revive his organization’s longstanding opposition to Lawrence v. Texas and support for laws criminalizing gay sex.

[Anti-polygamy activist Laurie] Allen, who herself was raised in a polygamous environment and staunchly opposes polygamy, criticized Perkins for attempting to compare polygamous relationships and same-sex relationships, calling his arguments “salacious propaganda.”

Rather than pointing out the absurdity of Perkins’ arguments, however, Tapper went on to quote an FRC statement suggesting that the legalization of same-sex marriage might create a “slippery slope” to the legalization of polygamous marriage in the future, despite the fact that the judge’s ruling did not actually legalize polygamous marriage.

Both Jake Tapper and CNN owe the LGBT community an apology for not only baiting Perkins and setting him up to spread lies about same-sex marriage linking to polygamy and how the Supreme Court really made a mistake when it stopped letting states throw people in jail just for being gay.

Oh, and there’s also the fact that they let a white supremacist linked hate group leader be on the show in the first place.  Perhaps next time Tapper could do some real reporting and grill Tony Perkins on that and his outrageous lies against the LGBT community instead of using him as an “expert” on anything and lending him credibility.

If GLAAD is going to be too chicken to call CNN and Tapper out then we as a community must be the ones to do so.

Tony Perkins Cares About Women and Polygamy. Santorum Blames Gay Marriage, and Brietbart Lies.

Breitbart

Well thanks to Kody and his Mormon harem from  the TLC’s trash hit Sister Wives hate group leaders, GOP lunatics and Right Wing “news” outlets are crawling out of the woodwork and having a field day that that Utah has become the 50th state to legalize unmarried cohabitation and is on the way to fully striking down its polygamy laws.

Family Resaech Council hate-group president and proven white supremacist Tony Perkins, took to the FRC website and writes that he’s worried about the poor women and children it will affect.  Oh and of scourer gay marriage

This decision is a real war on women and children as polygamy is a practice that has historically devalued the role of women and undermined the equality of a husband and wife that has become the standard in Western Civilization. The increasing awareness of the collateral cultural and religious carnage that accompanies the redefinition of natural marriage will cause the debate over same-sex marriage to intensify, not abate, despite the media’s relative silence and homosexual activists increasing campaign of intimidation. The multiple bouquets that may be thrown as this decision was handed down, may very well give the American people the inspiration to push back against those redefining natural marriage and with it the very underpinnings of America as it has been known.”

Meanwhile old  Frothy Mix himself,  Rick “Man on Dog” Santorum took to Twitter and played the “I told you  so card” claiming that he totally predicted that gay marriage would lead to Utah to legalize unmarried cohabitation.

And then last but not least we have Breitbart.com which just out and out lied and blamed gay marriage for the ruling saying that the judge referenced it in his decision when in reality NOWHERE in the judge’s 91-page ruling do the words “same-sex marriage” ever appear.  Then again the piece was written by Ken Klukowski who happens to serve as Director of the Center for Religious Liberty at Tony Perkin’s Family Research Council and as an extra right-wing religious extremist bonus Klukowski also serves on the faculty at Jerry Falwell’s Liberty University which happens to be home to another nationally recognized hate group; The Liberty Counsel.

I wonder why Ms. Perkins, Santorum and Brietbart didn’t cite the actual Bible. Oh, that’s right. The Bible actually advocates very heavily for polygamy which the ruling didn’t legalize anyway.
