ABC’s Jack Tapper sat down with Ron Paul yesterday and brought up Pauls whack-a-doodle homophobic and racist newsletters that Paul made over a MILLION Dollars hawking in the late 90’s.
Paul admitted he wrote parts of the letters – the economic bits – but insists he never penned the “bad sentences” that warned of a “coming race war” and of a “federal-homosexual cover-up on AIDS.”
I wrote a lot of part of the letter, and I’ve never said I didn’t. I wrote some of the — you know, the economic parts. I was not the editor. I was the publisher. And there were some very bad sentences put in. I did not write those. I did not review them,”
I don’t think anybody in the world has been perfect on management, everybody that’s ever worked for them. So, yes, it’s a flaw. But I think it’s a human flaw.”
The truth is that Paul’s writings on AIDS were later printed in an ad his campaign ran in the New York Times. So some of the same propaganda bullshit that’s in the newsletter appeared in a campaign ad. Or don’t the campaign ads reflect his views either.
The author of those newsletter worked closed with Paul. Paul knows that his co-editor (and Paul was listed as editor contrary to his current claims) Lew Rockwell wrote those things. Paul is still closely tied to Rockwell and his bigoted agenda.
So Paul expects us to believe in all that time he NEVER read one copy of his own newsletter?
Pfft. Even old dogs remember every tree they piss Ron Paul is no different.
