FRC’s Latest Money Beg Goes After LGBT Rights Activist Tim Gill and His Gay “Dark Money”

August 10, 2017

Dear XXXX,

There is an underground network of liberal operatives, funded by “dark money” from a wealthy, anti-marriage billionaire that is threatening the conservative ideals we value.

Tim Gill has been funding and operating this network for years, but he has managed to fly under the radar of many. NOW new information is coming to light.

A recent national interview exposed that he’s spent more than $422 million over the last two decades to stop our progress for marriage, life, and pro-family causes.

Gill has joined with the nation’s most extreme liberals to attack Christian values, set up networks within states to overturn pro-family legislation, and force his radical, anti-family agenda on us all.

FRC Action is working to stand up to Tim Gill’s agenda and defeat these radical efforts. Can we depend on your gift of $25, $35, $50, $100, or more to help us continue defending faith, family, and freedom? (Money beg link removed)

Tim Gill has been called “the nation’s most powerful force for LGBTQ rights.”

He has organized professional sports boycotts against states like North Carolina to “punish” them for passing laws to defend religious liberty.

The lead attorney on the Obergefell v. Hodges decision, which forced all 50 states to redefine marriage, recently said, “Without a doubt, we would not be where we are without Tim Gill.”

He’s even cozied up to George Soros to help fund liberal media groups like Media Matters, which permeate the airwaves with extreme left-wing rhetoric.

Over 12 years, Gill donated more than $2 million to the George Soros-funded Media Matters and more than $3 million to other Leftist media organizations.

It is going to take a well-orchestrated, well-funded counter effort to fight back against liberals like Tim Gill.

It’s going to take every dollar we can raise to counter the vast underground networks and shadowy media manipulators.

Will you help us fight back with your critical gift?  (Money beg link removed)

As the legislative affiliate of the Family Research Council, FRC Action is a leading rallying force of the pro-family conservative grassroots in America.

We were successful in mobilizing pro-family voters to the polls and sending values-driven leaders to the executive and legislative branches last fall, and we helped lead the push to confirm Judge Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court earlier this spring.

Now we must fight this newly exposed threat to marriage, life, and Christian values in America.

Tim Gill has said his goal is to “punish the wicked” — meaning you, me, and everyone who adheres to biblical values.

Any amount you can afford to give today would be a help as we stand against Tim Gill, George Soros, the ACLU, and the growing network of Leftist organizations threatening our Christian values.

Tim Gill and the many liberal organizations he funds are already working in conservative states to try and eradicate our religious freedom and pro-family values.

There is no time to waste in launching our counter effort against this multi-million dollar effort.

We don’t need to raise $422 million to fight Tim Gill’s extremist agenda. But to mobilize our nationwide network of pro-family activists and pastors and counter Tim Gill’s radical actions, we need the support of every conservative we can possibly reach.

Every dollar we can raise will help us continue to promote biblical marriage, life, and the pro-family values that you and I cherish.

Please help with your gift right away. We can’t afford to wait to launch this counter effort in support of our pro-family values! (Money beg link removed)

Thank you in advance for your generous support.

For America,

Lt. Gen. (US Army-Ret.) William “Jerry” Boykin
Executive Vice President

Gill is widely credited as a visionary strategist and mega-donor who has made significant contributions to virtually every major LGBT rights victory in the United States, from from the 2003 Goodridge v. Hodges decision legalizing same-sex marriage in all 50 states.

New stealth attack threatens natural marriage
May 07, 2016 | | Share with Friends

Dear XXXX

With all the media “noise” about the upcoming Republican Convention in Cleveland, I’m concerned that a serious threat is slipping under the radar. And I need your help to stop it.

Republican establishment activists soft on family values are planning an all-out attempt to radicalize the 2016 Republican Party Platform.

How? By stripping away time-honored language defending natural marriage and calling instead for a “thoughtful conversation” about what marriage really is. What they are really after is destroying the marriage plank by making it affirm court-created same-sex marriage.

Knowing how significant this threat really is, I offered to be a delegate from my home state of Louisiana, and was then elected by the Louisiana delegates to serve on the Platform Committee — now I need to know that you will stand with me.

Values voters across America have made it clear how they feel. Marriage is a union between a man and a woman. It doesn’t matter what five members of the Supreme Court say — marriage is what God says it is.

Big money is lining up against natural marriage. And of course the GOP’s strong pro-life plank will be the next target.

For decades, the Republican Party platform has firmly stood for the sanctity of life and the vital importance of natural marriage and the family.

But now, hedge fund billionaire Paul Singer has donated millions of dollars to undermine this and strip away any platform language that might be considered “discriminatory” to those who engage in homosexual behavior.

Calling it “Platform Reform,” the American Unity Fund — supported by Singer — is promoting new “inclusive” language that eliminates the biblical definition of marriage from the Party platform.

Here’s why we can’t let this happen:

As the platform goes, so goes the Party!

If sexual revolutionaries like Paul Singer succeed in sabotaging the platform, the Left and moderates will say that the issue is settled once and for all — that marriage is up to the individual to define. Then those of us who uphold God’s view of marriage as one man, one woman will be considered irrelevant and discriminatory.

With their Party platform hijacked, it will be that much more difficult for Republican Conservatives to be a voice standing up for God’s design for marriage and family.

That’s why I’m asking for your support today.

A loss of that magnitude would have a profound impact on the 2016 Presidential Campaign and our ability to restore our nation back to moral sanity.

With your help, I’ll fight to keep natural marriage and the sanctity of life in the Republican Party platform for the 2016 elections.

In 2012, my role as a delegate at the Republican National Convention gave me the opportunity to play a key role in amending the marriage plank, which led to the Platform Committee approving a much stronger version than 2008’s.

We also tightened language on obscenity and pornography, protected conscience rights, explained how abortion hurts women, and supported the Second Amendment in D.C.

This year, a colleague of mine from Louisiana and I were the first delegates from the nation selected for the 2016 Platform Committee.

With you standing with me, I’ll once again do everything I can to hold the line for natural marriage, the sanctity of life, and religious liberty in the 2016 Republican Party Platform. I’ll also work to ensure the entire platform reflects the conservative values we share.

While I’ll be representing Louisiana as a private citizen, our FRC Action team will be at the convention intensifying our efforts to shape the course of our nation in 2016.

We’ll ramp up initiatives to register values voters and support selected candidates at all levels who will defend families.

Your contribution now will make a strategic difference.

Our efforts will determine the kind of America we live in as Christians and the legacy we pass on to our children.

I strongly urge you to give as generously as possible today.

Thank you, and I pray for God’s blessings upon you and your family.

Sincerely,

Tony Perkins
President

P.S. Certain Republican activists will tell you that “times have changed” and “public opinion has moved on” when it comes to natural marriage. It’s simply not true. The majority of Americans believe in God’s definition of marriage. Stand with me to defend natural marriage and keep it in the Republican Party’s 2016 Platform. Thanks again for your help with this critical effort.

Scott “Crimes Against Humanity” Lively Begs For Money To Save Hate Ministry From Other Hate Groups.

Anti-gay activist Scott Lively has had a long and bigoted career ranging from re-writing history and claiming that the Nazi’s were really “vicious gays” to going all the way to Uganda to preach his evil hate about the LGBT community and prodding them to put its LGBT citizens to death.  But now Lively is beginning to pay for his evil sins he has been found writing money-begs to other anti-gay groups  urging them to join him in pushing to the passage of Russian-style anti-gay laws in America and elsewhere – and of course, send cash.

Lively hysterically bragged that he is being targeted by gay activists because his Abiding Truth Ministries is “one of the most feared and hated pro-family organizations in the world and the downside of being oh so “feared”  and hated is that he is now facing a lawsuit stemming from his anti-gay activism in Uganda, which is why Lively was begging for money in the first place since his “feared” hate group grifts bring in pennies and his legal bills are mounting

“My friends, SMUG v Lively is truly a David v Goliath battle. I’m running a one-man office on a shoestring budget of less than $120,000 per year, provided almost entirely by donations of $50 and $100 from average people. Our donor base is small, mostly elderly, and very difficult to expand due to the success of the anti-Lively propaganda. While Liberty Counsel has been funding our legal defense, this lawsuit has nevertheless caused us major financial hardship and seriously threatens our future.

Frankly, I question whether ATM will survive the decade without greater support from the individuals scattered across the society who recognize the danger of the LGBT agenda and are willing to stand with us financially against it. That can only happen if the people who already support us encourage their like-minded friends and allies to donate to us.

In a separate email to hate groups abroad Lively declared that “the Leaders and Activists of the LGBT movement are malicious deceivers and evil-doers, deliberately subverting civilized society and viciously attacking all opponents to advance their selfish and self-destructive interests” and called for anti-gay activists to focus on preventing the passage of antidiscrimination ordinances that protect sexual orientation in places where they don’t already exist and repealing them where they do. :

We need to build international pro-family solidarity on a foundation of genuine moral authority, meaning it must rest on the premise that homosexuality itself is personally and socially harmful, and not pretend that our only social and political interests are the “welfare of children” or the “definition of marriage.” That pretense is a product of the same diseased pro-family “leadership” that marched the American pro-family movement from one disastrous defeat to the next for the past three decades, and it is now being exported to the rest of the world by the same men.

The beauty of the Russian law is it cuts right to the heart of the real problem of LGBT advocacy: the recruitment of children. What I mean by recruitment of children is not primarily the sexual exploitation of young people by adult homosexuals, though that represents a dark current within the larger “gay” culture, especially among the men. What I mean is the normalization of homosexual conduct and culture to children and youths, leading them to engage in homosexual experimentation among themselves and subsequently self-identify as “gay.” An entire generation of American, British and Canadian children has been enslaved to this corrupt culture and ideology through the very propaganda that Russia has now banned.

While numerous countries of the African continent have chosen a much stricter approach, seeking to deter all homosexual conduct through harsh criminal sanctions, the Russian law balances the privacy rights of adult homosexuals (who choose to live discretely outside the mainstream of society) with the need of the nation to protect its children from the ravages of sexual perversion. It deters the LGBT lobby from attempting to mainstream the “gay” lifestyle, while granting the individual members of its community the “right to be left alone” that was the original stated goal of their movement in its early years, before it adopted the militant fascist tactics it is known for today”

AFTAH’s “Porno Pete” LaBarbera’s Year End Money Beg: I Only Need 10K To Stop Positive Gay Media!

Porno Pete

‘Tis he season for hate group grifters to be grifting!

We’ve reported in the past that the Family Research Council’s Tony Perkins in his year end money beg is trying to raise $1 million dollars so his hate group can continue to fight the big bad gay.  Now, D-List hate group leader (and obviously cheap date) “Porno Pete” LaBarbera of American’s For Truth About Homosexuality has sent out an appeal for only $10k. (Which he probably won’t raise) so he can expose high-risk homosexual-bi-transsexual lifestyles!  (It seems the lesbians are safe.)

Americans For Truth About Homosexuality (AFTAH) needs your help to break through the media’s radically-biased “cheerleading” coverage of the homosexual-bisexual-transgender movement. We are working on several projects that will pull together the massive amount of public information documenting the extreme health risks of homosexual lifestyles: disproportionate STDs; domestic violence; “hook-up sex murders”; extreme and unnatural practices; “gay” über-promiscuity; unstable relationships; mental health issues; and heavy drug and alcohol use.

Break Through Liberal Media Censorship: Please help AFTAH reach our goal of raising $10,000 for this project. Give safely online or send you check or money order to: AFTAH, PO Box 5522, Naperville, IL 60567-5522. (There is also an option online for monthly giving.) All gifts of $25 or more will receive a free book.

A free book you say “Porno Pete”?

One of the books just happens to be Homosexuality: A Freedom Too Far: A Psychoanalyst Answers 1,000 Questions about Causes and Cure and the Impact of the Gay Rights Movement on American Society,” written by the late and ostracized anti-gay Dr. Charles W. Socarides the grandfather of reparative therapy written over 20 years ago!

So you bigoted anti-gay Neanderthal idiots donate now!

FRC’s Tony “Dr. Evil” Perkins: We Need ONE MILLION DOLLARS To Fight “Politically Correct” Extremist!

Tony Perkins FRC Gay

Dear XXXX:

I’ve never seen a year like 2015. And 2016 may be worse—unless Christians like us get ready now. In 2015, radicals in Washington (including the government), New York, Hollywood, big corporations, and every part of America have declared war on your values. Your family. Your religious beliefs and freedom.

Family Research Council (FRC) met every test head-on to counter and overturn many of the attacks. But now our team of experts and activists needs your year-end gift to end the year ready to protect your values in 2016.

LAST WINTER, a major city ordered pastors to surrender their sermons on transgenderism and homosexuality for challenging the mayor’s push for a dangerous special rights ordinance.

EARLY IN THE YEAR, sexual radicals and huge corporations attacked states that attempted to pass laws protecting freedom to believe, and “politically correct” extremists tried to destroy the career of a Navy Chaplain because he counseled from the Bible.

IN THE SUMMER, sexual activists used the Supreme Court’s arrogant decision imposing same-sex marriage on America to assail the fundamental rights of anyone who disagreed . . . even throwing a Christian county clerk in jail.

IN THE FALL, they pressed ahead with a campaign of policies and laws trying to erase the distinction of men’s and women’s restrooms and persecute people of faith who disagree.

FRC has met every challenge head-on. But meeting these attacks—in Congress, the grassroots, the media, and the legal arena—has stretched our budget severely. In fact, RIGHT NOW we’re only weeks away before 2015 draws to a close, and it is urgent that FRC receive $1 million by December 31 to end 2015 on strong financial footing.

FRC must be at full strength to face President Obama’s final push in the last year of his presidency. President Obama and his allies have shown contempt for the principles and values that have kept us a free nation. What will stop him? People like you.

Tis the season to beg money. Fa la la la la. La la la UGH!

You have to admit though Little Tony Perkins has a set of big brass balls to try and grift a cool million out of the middle America morons of his base while going down in flames.

Money Beg

Dear XXXX,

Our nation has suffered horribly at the hands of a radical president. But there’s an antidote available.

America can be restored . . . if we can bring millions of values voters to the polls next November.

You and I have an open door—but a door that may be closing—to preserve our freedom to believe . . . our freedom to live as Christians in this country.

So I am writing you today with this single, simple, but overwhelmingly important request:

Please take a moment today to give a generous contribution to help FRC Action mobilize millions of conservatives, including Christians, to vote their values in the upcoming elections . . . and help change the course of our nation.

Your Influence Will Be Felt in Washington

We are approaching the tipping point in American history. Since 2010, we have seen the ideology of the United States Congress grow increasingly conservative. The shift has been significant in the Senate, but huge in the House of Representatives. This philosophical tsunami is what drove Speaker of the House John Boehner, a notoriously compromise-prone moderate, to step down from his position.

True conservative values are beginning to prevail in Washington. Your support of FRC Action is contributing hugely to this movement.

Your Influence Will Be Felt in Churches

I urge you to give as generously as possible today. The actions we take this November will powerfully influence next November. Your contribution today will help to expand and strengthen our nationwide network of churches.

Pastors are key to addressing the issues. Every year we are seeing government encroaching on moral questions in American life. We need clergy to address these issues according to the Word of God; we need them speaking out unequivocally about what God’s Word says on the issues of our day. Through our church network, and by providing information and resources, FRC Action is helping them do exactly that.

Your Influence Will Be Felt at the Ballot Box

Your generosity today will also further develop the work of our Culture Impact Teams. These church-based ministry teams lead their congregations in responding to the moral and social issues impacting the community, state, and nation. They’ll make sure that Christians are registered to vote—that they’re informed on the candidates’ stands on issues of moral significance—and that they actually get to the polls on Election Day.

Your Influence Will Be Felt on the Campaign Trail

Furthermore: The primary season not only identifies the candidates that will gain their respective party’s nomination, it also identifies the issues that will be central to the general election, which will determine the policies of the next administration. We need to bring issues of religious liberty into the foreground of their thinking during this crucial formation time . . . another reason I’m urging you so strongly to give now.

Your Influence Will Be Felt in the States

And our work cannot be limited exclusively to the national race. Nearly eight years of this president’s lawlessness has emboldened leftist politicians in towns, cities, and states from coast to coast. We see rampant violations of the law as radicals seek to transform America by replacing religious and political freedom with the perverse agenda of the sexual revolution. So we will focus on election campaigns in the fifty states as well.

All of these strategies require an enormous amount of advance planning and effort—so we need your support today.

Here is our present reality: We could easily spend $5 million on this process, placing ads, sending out alerts, vetting candidates, producing bus tours, reaching out to potential voters by every means possible, working with Members of Congress and their staffers on Capitol Hill, and the list goes on.

But in the short term, we need $200,000 by December 31 in order to keep going strong. So, bottom line, we need your most generous possible contribution today.

Please let me hear from you quickly. As we stand together, as we work together, we can emerge victorious on Election Day. Thank you. God bless you.

Standing (Eph. 6:13),

Tony Perkins
President

P.S. I’m asking you to give to a proven organization. FRC Action has been successful in finding and equipping true conservative candidates and in motivating candidates to come out publicly in support of religious freedom, the kind of liberty that the Founders intended.

As the Obama era ends, we cannot afford another leftist administration to take power, or a weak-kneed moderate administration that is afraid to act. Please do whatever you can to help. I look forward to receiving your best possible donation. Thank you again.

Hahaha.  The “perverse agenda of the sexual revolution.”  What is this 1975?

The President’s Outrageous New Plan
November 06, 2015 | | Share with Friends

Dear XXXXX,

I wasn’t sure whether to send you this email.

I didn’t want to offend you, or shock you.

But in the end, I decided to err on the side of keeping you informed—because this is too important—to our children, to our grandchildren and to the future of our nation.

The problem:

President Barack Obama is now promoting a sexual revolution more extreme, more perverse, more bizarre than anything you or I have ever imagined possible.

Specifically, he is backing legislation that would ban parents—including Christian parents—from arranging counseling to help protect their own children from engaging in a variety of forms of sexually immoral behavior.

It’s absolutely astonishing to see a United States President repeatedly fail in his duties as commander-in-chief yet insist on interjecting himself as parent-in-chief into our private lives—driving the federal government to invade our homes and dictate areas of life that the government has no business even attempting to control.

We will fight this—with your help. We need your strong financial and prayer support today to push back on this outrageous “home invasion” with everything we’ve got.

How serious is the President about this dangerous aspect of “transforming America”?

Very serious. The President’s most powerful adviser, a well-known extremist named Valerie Jarrett, has posted a statement on the White House website condemning parents who don’t want their children to be “LGBTQ+” and who want professional counseling for their children. The White House even supports banning such counseling even if children and their parents want to avoid same-sex or other types of attractions. What does LGBTQ+ mean?

That alphabet soup stands for “Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Queer and More.”

I debated whether to include a complete list—because it is repulsive—but here is a link to the list which clearly shows that we are not overstating the severity of this issue.

It’s clear how we came to this moment. The Supreme Court’s dreadful ruling creating same-sex marriage emboldened the Left.

With the redefinition of marriage comes the redefinition of sexuality. And once you depart from what God created us to be, there’s no end to where you can go.

And make no mistake, in order to reach their goal of radical sexual “liberation,” a world totally free of all Christian boundaries and moral restraints, they have to silence Christians as a voice for morality in America.

Children will not be able to escape the Obama administration’s planned psychological imprinting of their “tolerant” and “diverse” views of sexuality. This agenda will not allow them to escape even into their churches or their own homes.

Already President Obama has championed the transgender movement in the military; and in hiring at the White House itself; and by pushing legislation that would give men who identify as transgender the right to use women’s bathrooms or locker rooms.

He is even taking his campaign to the world. At the United Nations, the U.S. government now officially uses the term “sexual rights” in discussing human rights and global development. Human rights aren’t enough anymore. Even “reproductive rights” aren’t broad enough. Now our government wants to encourage all forms of sexual behavior.

But now, he has shifted his focus upon our children.

  • With your strong support today, FRC Action will strongly urge Congress and tirelessly work with our allies on the Hill to stand against this radical agenda.
  • Our policy experts will analyze bills, riders, and other legislative maneuvers word-by-word to ferret out any and every attempt by the administration to subvert the God-given role of parents in this country.
  • FRC Action’s seasoned advocates will work with Members of Congress to find and defeat attempts to withhold education funds from the states that don’t comply with the Obama agenda regarding transgenderism.
  • We will work at the state level too, to protect the rights of parents through legislation.

I urge you to respond quickly and with the most generous amount you can.

The federal government has no authority to compel parents to raise their children with perverse, immoral values. This is an attack on our religious freedom and we must resist at every step.

Thank you in advance for whatever generous donation you can make immediately.

Standing (Eph. 6:13),

Tony Perkins
President

P.S. Jesus said in Matthew Chapter 19, Verse 4, “Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female.” This is what we want our children to learn and understand. Not the LGBTQ+ alphabet soup of perversion. Not the deluded distortions of the Left.

We must not allow the federal government to capture our children at puberty and remake them in their own image, with the outcome predetermined according to the Left’s deviant agenda. Please help us fight back with your gift today.

HUGE WIN! You did it!
November 04, 2015 | | Share with Friends

Dear XXXX,

We couldn’t have done it without you! Last night, residents of Houston, Texas celebrated a decisive victory for religious freedom that was over a year in the making—thanks to the prayer and financial support of friends like you.

Brief recap:

Last year, Houston’s City Council tried to push through a radical new ordinance that would give special privileges and special rights to people based upon their sexual behavior. This harmful ordinance would have allowed a man to enter women’s restrooms and other private areas if he identifies as a woman. It also would have forced employers and private business owners to violate their religious and moral convictions regarding homosexual and transgender behavior and fined you a maximum of $5,000 if you chose to not violate your faith!

When pastors and concerned citizens in the city began to rally together to give citizens the right to vote on this dangerous “Bathroom Bill,” Mayor Annise Parker shockingly subpoenaed the sermons and other private communications of five local pastors who dared to speak out against her agenda.

But the “Houston Five” would not back down, and FRC, FRC Action, and the Faith Family Freedom Fund actively stood with them over the past year.

– November, 2014 – FRC organized I Stand Sunday, a power-packed simulcast to support the targeted pastors. Over 7,000 people packed the pews of Grace Community Church in Houston, while over 3,300 churches and home groups joined in from all 50 states to stand for religious liberty. With the public backlash, the mayor finally relented on the subpoenas.

– FRC Action continued the momentum by educating Houston voters on the threat this Bathroom Bill posed to religious liberty. Through FRC’s STAND Summit this past March and the recentWatchmen Summit in August, we gathered pastors and ministry leaders together to collaborate and develop strategies to impact their home communities. FRC Action also conducted a Candidate Training forum after the August Watchmen Summit to equip conservative believers to consider a run for elected office.

– In the final weeks leading up to yesterday’s critical vote, FRC Action produced targeted alerts and analysis of the Bathroom Bill, while the Faith Family Freedom Fund’s new ad informed over 300,000 Houston voters of the truth that this ordinance would give local government the power to punish people because of their beliefs.

When the ballots were tallied on Election Day, the Bathroom Bill was defeated overwhelming by 61% of the voters.

Thank you! It’s good to celebrate…

Unfortunately, this isn’t just about a single ordinance. These ongoing threats to religious liberty are being realized in virtually every community in America!

– State Level
As a result of the Supreme Court’s redefinition of marriage earlier this year, LGBT activists across the country have been emboldened to push the envelope even further. For example, just last week a group in Michigan announced plans to put a measure similar to Houston’s ordinance on the statewide ballot in 2016.

– City Council’s and School Boards
Some on the Left have been pushing this in City Councils across the country. If that’s not bad enough, they are also forcing these policies on students and passing them in School Boards. Just one example of this is Fairfax County, Virginia. Ignoring the vocal concerns of hundreds of parents, the School Board added a broad “gender identity” policy that allowed students of any age who identify as transgender to choose whether to use the boys’ or girls’ restrooms and locker rooms and which sex’s sports teams to play on.

– Deceptively-Named “Equality Act”
The Left has mounted a new assault on your rights and freedoms in Congress. Now they’ve unveiled a bill that not only strips you of your rights regarding employment, but strips you of your rights in 25 areas of U.S. law . . . areas of life! These include: credit, education, federal funding, public facilities and accommodations, and federally funded programs, to name a few.

Would you consider making a celebration donation today? Your gift will enable FRC Action to:

– Elect principled conservative candidates who will stand up for our values;

– Urge Congress and work with our allies on the Hill to stand against this radical agenda;

– Provide word-by-word expert analysis of bills, riders, and other legislative maneuvers and ferret out any and every attempt by the administration to subvert the God-designed gender roles;

– Work at the state and local level to identify threats and equip both elected leaders and voters with the knowledge and resources to stand.

Your continued giving at this time will help FRC Action stand strong, and build on the momentum to engage and defeat these ongoing threats. If this could happen in Houston, Texas, it can happen anywhere in America.

Thank you in advance for your continuing support of FRC Action.

Standing,

Tony Perkins

Who stands for YOU when the attacks come?

Who stands for you?

$500,000 Matching Grant doubles your gift to help us stand up for you when anti-faith forces in Washington attack

Dear XXXX,

I could sum up the first nine months of 2015 in one short sentence:

You have become a target of the most powerful institutions in America.

Americans like you were once rightly seen as the moral glue helping to hold our nation together.

Not anymore. Today the Obama administration, radical organizations like the ACLU and Planned Parenthood, and many major corporations see you and your family as the problem with America.

Your biblical morality is labeled as “hate” on par with racism. Yourfreedom is labeled as “discrimination” worthy of boycotts and threats.Your faith in God is called backward, harmful, and in some casesunlawful.

With such wealthy, powerful forces attacking your deepest values and your personal freedom, WHO STANDS FOR YOU?

The answer is Family Research Council . . . which is why I’m asking that you make a donation now to help FRC reach our $2.5 million goal by the end of our fiscal year on September 30, so we can keep standing strong at this pivotal point in our nation’s history. A $500,000 Matching Grant will make every dollar go twice as far. It’s critical we achieve our September 30 goal to strengthen our advocacy for you where it counts the most.

FRC has a respected collection of seasoned experts influencing the halls of power in Washington, D.C. . . . arguing your case in the national media . . . activating the grassroots in states across the country . . . and informing and mobilizing over 10,000 pastors and churches.

I am incredibly humbled by the strategic influence God has entrusted to FRC.

I don’t take our influence for granted. Our board, staff and I are constantly evaluating how to make the most of every opportunity and then praying for God to do “exceeding abundantly above all that we can ask or think” (Ephesians 3:20).

That is why I’m asking you to give in response to our $500,000 Matching Grant and our $2.5 million goal.

I also ask myself, “What if FRC wasn’t here at this moment of American history?”

Who would be representing your values and religious freedom daily in meetings on Capitol Hill? Or statehouses? Or on FOX, CBS, in major newspapers, or in the media?

Who would be building a massive network of pastors and churches—educating them on how to push back in a biblical manner against the most dangerous governmental campaign of hostility against Christianity in our nation’s history?

Who would be handing members of Congress and news reporters the difference-making research showing the value of Christianity to our society . . . debunking the propaganda of the radical Left think tanks, the liberal talking heads and the relentless “Progressive” activist groups?

Right now we are in a 24-hour-a-day struggle for the future of religious freedom and influence in America. Every day the pressure is on.

I thank God He has provided supporters like you at this moment.

And I pray you will respond generously to our $500,000 Matching Grant opportunity and our $2.5 million need with a timely gift now. We will put it to use immediately defending your faith, family and freedom.

Please help—and please know that with the help of supporters like you, FRC will continue to stand for you in the most strategic places of power in America.

Standing (Ephesians 6:13),

Tony Perkins
President

P.S. What if FRC wasn’t here at this “gut-check” moment of history? Who would stand for you in Congress, national media and state capitals? Who would provide the research and make the arguments to push back against the deception and bully tactics of the radical Left? Please give now to help us achieve our $2.5 million fiscal year-end goal by September 30. Every gift will be doubled by our matching grant. Thank you!

Hatin’ sure doesn’t come cheap!

Help stop discrimination against our Christian values
August 07, 2015

Dear XXXXXX,

“Finished.” “Settled.” “It’s over.” These are the pronouncements I’m hearing since five of the nine justices on the Supreme Court caved in to the radical homosexual-rights propaganda machine in its ruling on same-sex marriage.

In fact, we’re hearing “The End” from both sides. The liberals are declaring that the debate is behind us — some media outlets have even declared that they won’t allow the natural view of marriage to even be represented anymore, as if the high court had suddenly banned freedom of speech.

But some Christians and conservatives are calling it “The End” too. They’re acting as if the Left has just won an irreversible victory, and there’s no point in carrying on in the battle for faith and freedom. They’re wrong.

Yes, the justices’ decision was terrible. They overturned the votes of over 50 million Americans. They abandoned thousands of years of human history, human nature, and the explicit teachings of Scripture. They fabricated out of thin air a sweeping “right” to court-created same-sex marriage that no Founding Father ever intended, or could have imagined.

Disappointed? Yes. Surprised? No. Finished? Not by a long shot. Now is the time to fight with greater fervor than ever. I call upon every member of FRC Action to step up to this challenge — a challenge to our faith, our freedom, our families, our future.

History proves that an early loss is not necessarily the end of the conflict. If it were, the Revolutionary War would have preserved British rule, the Civil War would have produced two separate countries, and the myriad victories of the pro-life movement would never have happened.

Review — and be encouraged by — three key facts:

Fact 1: Five justices may indeed have trampled the will of more than 50 million people, but they do not have the moral authority to redefine marriage.

Desperate to justify their overreach, the majority insists that there are “changed understandings of marriage,” “where new dimensions of freedom become apparent.” This is preposterous.

What God crafted in nature and imprinted on the human heart, no judge can change.

Fact 2: Americans refused to accept the legitimacy of the Court’s decision on abortion 42 years ago in Roe v. Wade.

Fact 3: Our numbers are not few. In statement after statement, interview after interview, leaders from across this country are making it clear: this is not over. From governor’s mansions to statehouse floors, the message is one of determination and tenacity.

This recent ruling does not mean that the issue is settled. It does mean that America will not achieve broad social consensus on marriage anytime soon. Actually, conflict is now guaranteed. Here’s why:

1) Some on the Left will try to use this ruling to rob Americans of their rights in the marketplace. The Court’s decision will become a bludgeon regarding business practices, as radicals try to force conservative business owners to set aside their religious values and engage in activities which violate their faith.

2) Some on the Left will also use this ruling as a crowbar to pry open America’s education system and force the radical homosexual perspective into our schoolchildren’s curricula.

3) The ripple effect of this ruling will be felt in every realm of life, all the way into our churches, even into the private recesses of individual families. Hillary Clinton said as much, in her post-ruling statement: “While we celebrate today, our work won’t be finished until every American can not only marry, but live, work, pray, learn and raise a family free from discrimination and prejudice.”

Not long ago, liberals were insisting that churches would never be forced to violate their faith in the event of a pro-same-sex marriage ruling. Now, in the blink of an eye, the march toward oppression is on!

All of which means, we must stand resolute, determined that we will not give in or give up.

If the President, his party, and this Court think they have resolved this controversial issue, they’re mistaken. By disenfranchising 50 million Americans in a decision divorced of law and logic, they have only poured fuel on the fire. Many thought, 40 years ago, that the battle for life was lost — but over time, people’s hearts and minds were moved to a new understanding of the sanctity of the unborn child. Our strategic efforts, our diligence, contributed hugely to this movement.

We can do it again. As more Americans witness and experience the erosion of religious liberty, of parental rights, of children’s innocence, and of conscience rights, their opinions will shift.

Every generation of God’s people has faced times of testing. This is our time. We must stand uncompromisingly.

This is a moment of opportunity. A presidential election campaign is ramping up. Every Justice of the Supreme Court — and every federal judge in America — has been appointed by a president of the United States.

We must have a leader who is principled and courageous. One who will not only stop what’s happening and change course, but undo the damage. One who understands American exceptionalism … one who will restore the Constitution.

It is not too early to make your voice heard. The liberal media is trying to diminish us and our views. They are trying to tell us it is all over.

We have great candidates at every level of government. I’ve sat down and spoken with a number of them; a number of these leaders feel led by God to run this race. But they cannot be successful if we don’t offer our strong and vocal support.

With your support today, we will help these candidates be as strong as they can be on the issues that matter most. We’ll equip them with information and insights, research results and talking points. We’ll conduct media interviews with candidates to help shape the debate. Our Values Voter Summit will galvanize their positions and help them present the truth with confidence.

I challenge you to step up with determination and resolve. Please give as generously as possible to FRC Action today in the spirit of Ephesians 6:13: “Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.”

Thank you. God bless you.

Standing (Eph. 6:13),

P.S. When our friend Ken Blackwell appeared on the liberal George Stephanopoulos program on ABC to talk about the Supreme Court’s marriage ruling, left-wing groups mobilized thousands of people to bombard the network with demands that ABC ban Ken from future programs. A deliberate attempt to silence your views! Give generously, and FRC Action will see to it that your views are never silenced. Together, we can rescue America.
