Reecently Ronnie Kroell and this site has critisied LOGO for the ‘characters’ like that of LOGO’s new, “ The A-List NYC” which are nothing more than over blown negative stereotypes of portrays the gay community as swishy bitchy queens.
Christopher Willey, LOGO’s original programming chief, on why A-List: New York (which premiers tonight)
explains why LOGO doesn’t give a damn about the negative stereotypes or what Ronnie Kroell, Back2Stonewall, or any of you out there think.
“I’m happy to say there are enough portrayals everywhere that we don’t have to be so mindful anymore. You can watch Brothers & Sisters. You can watch reruns of Will & Grace. There are enough representations of the gay community out there where we can really go off on tangents and do fun things. There’s enough room for everything and if you don’t like this portrayal don’t watch the show, watch something else” – Christopher Willey
.Well other than the question of ho Christopher Wiley be called Logo’s “Origional Programing Cheif” when the show is so obviously a rip off of shows on other networks leads extra proof that LOGO sucks. But adding the fact that they are alright and don;t give a damn that spotlighting a bunch of $30,000 dollars a year “Millionaire” tacky queenswho think they are A-List because they get to go into a club, and occaisionally take a weekend trip, something any any male hustler or drug dealer in Manhatten could no doubt say the same thing. Oh, wait they are male hustlers.
Well fortunately this garbage is on LOGO so nobody hopefully will ever see it.
