According to a March 22 press release on the Liberty Counsel hate group website, the Girl Scouts of the USA is the largest member of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS), which the Liberty Counsel claims, “aggressively promotes abortion and promiscuous sex” and takes exception to WAGGGS’ support of comprehensive sex-ed for all young people, its memberships in organizations like Planned Parenthood and the Coalition for Adolescent Girls and its support of the women’s marches, which the Liberty Counsel calls “a vulgar and profanity-laden event that clearly stated ‘safe, legal, and affordable abortion and birth control for all people’ among its core principles.”
Liberty Counsel President and Shyster Mathew “Mat” Staver stated in the press release:
The once great Girl Scouts USA took a tragic fall when it became a political advocacy group that promotes abortion and sexual promiscuity to innocent girls. It’s important that people understand that the profits from cookie sales go toward harming young girls rather that helping them.
The NRA and its paid pro-gun propaganda mistress Dana Loesch goes on the defensive against “Hollywood phonies,” athletes who sit during the national anthem, journalists and almost everyone who has become critical of the massive gun lobbying group following the Parkland, Florida, school shooting in an ad that can only be seen as intimidating and threatening to those who are against the NRA’s agenda.
“To every lying member of the media, to every Hollywood phony, to the role model athletes who use their free speech to alter and undermine what our flag represents, to the politicians who would rather watch America burn than lose one ounce of their own personal power, to the late-night hosts who think their opinions are the only opinions that matter…,” Loesch says against a backing track of ominous music. “…your time is running out.”
I personally sent a complaint to Twitter reporting this omimous message and recieved the following message:
Thank you for your recent report. We have reviewed your report carefully and found that there was no violation of the Twitter Rules against abusive behavior (https://twitter.com/rules).
There are a number of factors we take into consideration when deciding whether to take action on content:
Some Tweets may seem to be abusive when viewed in isolation, but may not be when viewed in the context of a larger conversation. While we accept reports of violations from anyone, sometimes we also need to hear directly from the target to ensure that we have proper context.
The number of reports we receive does not impact our assessment of whether something violates the Twitter Rules. However, it may help us prioritize the order in which it gets reviewed.
We focus on behavior
In order to ensure that people feel safe expressing diverse opinions and beliefs, we do not tolerate behavior that crosses the line into abuse, including behavior that harasses, intimidates, or uses fear to silence another user’s voice.
Additionally, we enforce policies when someone reports behavior that is abusive and targets an entire protected group and/or individuals who may be members. This targeting can happen in multiple ways (e.g., mentioning someone, tagging someone in a photo, and more).
If, after you filed this original report, this person Tweeted additional content that you believe to be abusive, or if there’s additional context you think we need to know regarding this situation, please reply to this email and provide us with further details (including links to any additional Tweets).
Florida police are investigating death threats to the owners of a bakery in Florida after a “Christian” pastor urged his followers to contact the bakery after they refused to bake a cake reading: “We Do Not Support Gay Marriage.”
Joshua Feuerstein encouraged viewers to call the bakery and and help “expose the hypocrisy” they’re supposedly engaging in. Well, in a parallel of what happened to Memories Pizza in Indiana, Cut the Cake ended up receiving quite a lot of angry messages, including death threats. Sharon Haller, who Feuerstein spoke to on the phone, said, “We started getting some hundreds of phone calls and making very nasty and negative gestures towards our business, towards us.” Feuerstein took down the video at their request, but Cut the Cake posted it online so people could see it, along with a GoFundMe page that has raised, as of this posting, over $2000.
Why do I suspect the death threats this bakery received are real since they have police reports to back them up compared with the alleged “threats” that Memories Pizza received.
Back2Stonewall .com contacted journalism college dropout Dana Loesch and “pompous bag of hate” Ben Howe of TheBlaze who championed the GoFundMe page for Memories Pizza after they closed their doors because they were “supposedly” getting death threats. And sked if they were going to start a GoFundMe page for the Cut The Cake Bakery in Florida?
Earlier this week in a recent interview with the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Chick-fil-A CEO and President Dan Cathy said he plans to no longer speak out on gay marriage. “You learn from those mistakes,” Cathy said. “If not, you’re just a fool. I’m thankful that I lived through it and I learned a lot from it.”
Cathy made news two years ago with his criticism of gay marriage, which prompted a investigation into Chick-fil-A’s charitable givimg and the realization that WinShape, CFA’s charitable division had been donating heavily to so called “christian” groups that fight against LGBT equality. Since the exposure donations to such group have dropped dramatically. But it must be added have not stopped.
“Probably the elements that were stressful for me most is from our internal staff and from operators and how this may be affecting them,” Cathy said. “The bottom line is we have a responsibility here to keep the whole of the organization in mind and it has to take precedence over the personal expression and opinion on social issues.”
Well Cathy’s remarks did not go noticed by two of his most anti-gay lunatics hate group leaders and supporters “Porno Pete” LaBarbera of American’s for Truth about Homosexuality and Bryan J. Fister Fischer of the American Family Association who got together via telephone on Fischer’s propaganda filled radio show and indignantly choked their chickens together over Chick-Fil-A’s “supposed” shifting tone after they went out and supported it on Chick-Fil-A day
“The church has no singular human leader – our head is the Lord Jesus Christ. The church currently has 8 male members who have been serving the church in the capacity of ‘elders’ for several years (this word is synonymous with ‘bishop,’ ‘pastor,’ and ‘overseer’) – all of whom minister to the members of the church, preach, and are involved in doctrine and teaching. These men were unanimously chosen by the members of the church to serve in this capacity, having evidenced the proper scriptural qualifications. The church of the Lord Jesus Christ does not rise or fall with any man – in fact, the Lord doesn’t need ANY of us. This is still a nation and world awash in sin. We will still warn you of this condition, out of our love and fear of the Lord, and out of our love for our neighbors. Here is the message of Westboro Baptist Church: God still hates fags, God still hates fag enablers and any nation that embraces that sin as an ‘innocent’ lifestyle can expect to incur the wrath of God. Repent or Perish.” – Westboro Baptist Church, (probably written by loony bastard bearing out-of-wedlock Shirley) in a statement posted to their website.
I’ll take Predictable Lunatic Ranting for $500, Alex.
“United States Attorney General Eric Holder, this week, has again overstepped the boundaries of the law when he arbitrarily ordered that homosexual couples will now receive government benefits reserved only for natural marriage status. This applies even in states that have laws defining marriage as only between one man and one woman. Taking a nod from the playbook of his boss, President Barack Obama, Holder wielded his own pen and paper, trampling on states’ rights and disenfranchising voters in states defining marriage as only between one man and one woman. TAKE ACTION! Urge your representative to press for the impeachment of Attorney General Eric Holder for high crimes and misdemeanors.” – From an email sent today by the SLPC recognized hate group the GOP backed American Family Association to its supporters. (All 25 of them) The impeachment bill they cite was introduced over two years ago and still only has 24 House cosponsors. Muah!
Posted today on World Net Daily: (Because Brietbart.com was full of shit for the day)
Nazi Germany is the true birthplace, and Hitler is the real father of universal health care. Like Lenincare, Stalincare, Maocare, Castrocare and Obamacare, all universal health-care systems are derivative of Marxism, socialism, communism, progressivism, postmodernism and thus are antithetical to America’s founding constitutional principles of God, the Bible, natural law, equality, liberty and truth. Like Hitlercare, Obamacare will inevitably lead to health-care rationing, death panels, millions of uninsured and, eventually, the systematic genocide of the weak, minorities, enfeebled, the elderly and political enemies of the God-state.
Obama is using his Gestapo and SS Stormtroppers or so-called “navigators” (e.g., the youth, the unions, Planned Parenthood, NAACP, ACORN, La Raza, etc.) to propagandize the poor, the miseducated and minorities who are being exploited to lead this final blitzkrieg toward forcing universal health care, but like in Hitler’s Germany once the reality of their treachery metastasizes, guess who will be the first ones forced to sacrifice their lives for the Fatherland in our march toward a “perfect” society without illness or suffering? History has repeatedly demonstrated that the weakest and most vulnerable have often been the first victims to be eliminated.
WOW. Then Canada must be Nazi Germany with ice hockey and better beer.
The the beginning hours of the first shutdown of the government in 17 years, the majority of the general public has reacted swiftly and strongly against the Republican Party with the New York Daily News going as far as calling the GOP controlled House of Representatives led by John Boehner. “The House of Turds”
House Speaker John Boehner made a short statement, took one question, then walked away from a one-minute press conference early Tuesday morning, just more than an hour after the government shutdown at midnight.
“The House has has made it’s position known very clearly. We believe we should fund the government, and we think there ought to be basic fairness for all Americans under Obamacare. The Senate has continued to reject our offers. But under the Constitution, there is a way to resolve this process and that is to go to conference and talk through your differences. I would hope the Senate will accept our offer to go to conference and discuss this so we can resolve this for the American people.”
When asked what his message was to the 800,000 federal workers who will receive notices they are no longer needed on the job. And does he have a plan for restore back pay? Boehner replied: “The House has voted to keep the government open. But we also want basic fairness for all Americans under Obamacare,” he said before leaving the podium.”
“Conference” with the Senate is usually set up BEFORE problems with resolutions between the House and Senate reach the point of no return, not after.
Incidentally, the Democrats have asked for “Conference” with the house 18 times over the past 12 months on this issue only to be blocked by Mitch McConnel.
Despite the shutdown because the 27th Amendment to the Constitution, Congress will still be paid.
After Tea Party and NRA lunatic’s have co-opted Starbucks stores around the country by enjoying Low-fat Venti Mocha Lattes while opening carrying guns at what they call Starbucks Appreciation Days because it’s current store policy had been to default to local gun laws, including “open carry” regulations. Starbucks has had enough and is changing it’s policy and telling them to keep their guns out of its stores.
In an interview, CEO Howard Schultz said the decision to ask customers to stop bringing guns into stores came as a result of the growing frequency of “Starbucks Appreciation Days” in recent months, in which gun rights advocates turn up at Starbucks cafes with firearms. Last month, for example, the company closed down a store in Newtown, Conn., for the day after learning that gun rights advocates planned to hold a “Starbucks Appreciation Day” at the location. The store was near the school where a gunman killed 20 children and six women. Schultz said the events mischaracterized the company’s stance on the issue and the demonstrations “have made our customers uncomfortable.” Schultz hopes people will honor the request not to bring in guns but says the company will nevertheless serve those who do. “We will not ask you to leave,” he said.
Peet’s Coffee and Tea and California Pizza Kitchen ban guns from their stores altogether. Disney also forbids guns in its theme parks, and Costco does not allow its members to carry them openly in its stores.
Starbucks will publish full-page ads in major newspapers tomorrow to publicize their request.
In my opinion, you see someone walk into a Starbucks or any other store with a weapon, everyone should start calling 911 to report a madman with a gun.
“From June 29th to July 21st, we will have an incredible global visibility to show our fight against the law,” read a statement on a new Facebook page created to inspire protesters to line the 3,360-kilometre route.
And while the first stage of the race will get rolling on the island of Corsica, the remaining 20 stages will cover well near every corner of mainland France, offering protestors across the country the chance to snatch a bit of prime-time coverage.
Their Facebook page implored would-be demonstrators to send private messages with points on the route they would consider protesting at, giving the impression that the ‘Tour Pour Tous’ (Tour for all) will try to organize as wide a coverage of the famous event as possible. The page also launched the hashtag #tourpourtous to prompt users on the social media site Twitter to rally to the protesters’ defense. By Wednesday, proponents and opponents alike had begun using the keyword to trade jibes.
Odd isn’t it that one of the first countries to adopt true democracy and with the national motto of “liberty, equality, fraternity” is still dealing with assholes like this who want second-class citizenship for others.
After all, it’s why they beheaded their aristocracy. *knitting needles clicking*
