A San Francisco man has been arrested and charged with a hate crime after he stalked two gay men in the Castro gayborhood and assaulted one of the men with a glass object.

Muhammed Abdullah, 20, was following two men, one aged 58 and the other 40 years old, while “aggressively shouting anti-gay slurs at the men.” He then allegedly threw a glass object at the 40-year-old victim causing non-life-threatening injuries. The men contacted police who, using the description provided, were able to locate Abdullah a short time later roughly half a mile from the scene of the alleged attack.

“San Francisco is a haven for LGBT people,” District Attorney Brooke Jenkins said in a statement. “Our city is proud of our diversity and for being an open and welcoming beacon to all people, especially those who have been marginalized elsewhere. Hate crimes that seek to demean and otherize people because of who they are, what they look like, or who they love is unacceptable and will be prosecuted.”

Okay, now these fuckers have gone too far.

Vandals targeted an iconic mural in Seattle early Sunday morning, according to the homeowner and video from the scene. The home – located off Interstate 5 near the Northeast 65th Street exit – has a mural on an outside wall that faces the freeway featuring 1950s pinup model Bettie Page and historic drag queen Divine.

Just after midnight Sunday, suspects approached the home with what appeared to be pressurized containers with red paint, which they used to cover the mural and much of the house. They were seen on surveillance taking their time to douse the mural for nearly five minutes. The paint rained down on the roof, the art, the porch, and the windows. Nothing was spared.

Florida is turning the Hippocratic Oath into the Hypocritic Oath.

Two weeks ago we alerted you to a bill making its way through the Florida State House by Pensacola physician and Republican state Rep. Joel Rudman that would allow doctors and insurance companies the freedom to drop patients based on what they’re calling “conscience-based objection” 

Yesterday the Florida House approved SB 1580/HB 1403 officially called the “Protections of Medical Conscience” Act. As written it states that healthcare providers cannot turn anyone away based on their “race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.” But gives the physicians the right to turn away LGBT+ patients without suffering any ramifications .

Florida Democrat Anna Eskamani offered up a potential scenario.

Democrat Michele Rayner-Goolsby, who is married to a woman, compared it to Jim Crow laws.

“The sponsor of the bill purports that this bill doesn’t discriminate,” she said. “But listen, y’all. I am old enough, I am Black enough, and I am queer enough, and I’m woman enough to know that the impact of this bill — and I would argue the very intent of this bill is to discriminate against folks.”

The bill passed the Senate on Friday on a 28-11 vote. It passed last night in the House 84-34 vote. It now heads to Governor Ron DeSantis’ desk for signing which he will most assuredly sign into law.

If you still don’t think that Florida is trying to kill the LGBT community you are dead wrong.

And if you live in Florida you could just be dead. PERIOD.

A federal jury convicted a Montana man of hate and firearms crimes for firing an AK-style assault rifle at the residence of a woman, who identified as lesbian, and was home at the time. After a four-day trial that began on Feb. 14, the jury found John Russell Howald, 46, of Basin, Montana, guilty of hate crime acts and discharge of firearm during and in relation to a crime of violence as charged in a superseding indictment.

“This defendant is being held accountable for attempting to violently eliminate the entire LGBTQ community in a small Montana town,” said Assistant Attorney General Kristen Clarke of the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division. “This hate crime and violent campaign targeting the LGBTQ community is a reminder of the epidemic of hate violence targeting people based on their sexual orientation. All people have the right to feel safe in their homes and communities, regardless of who they love.”

Howald faces a maximum of life imprisonment, a $250,000 fine and five years of supervised release on the hate crime conviction and a mandatory minimum 10 years to life imprisonment, consecutive to any other sentence, a $250,00 fine and five years of supervised release on the firearm conviction.

“Howald … pointed a rifle at the deputy and fled on foot, firing at least one more shot as he went. Sheriff’s officers arrested Howald the next day….“

Duncan Urbanek, of Pure Words Baptist Church in southwest Houston gave a sermon in which he prayed for “every homo that exists” to suffer “a slow, painful death”

A video clip of part of the speech was reposted online by Hemant Mehta, an activist and citizen journalist who runs the Friendly Atheist substack, which exposes hypocrisy and hate by the religious Right.

Urbanek utilizes the well-worn trope of comparing gay people to pedophiles.: “Hey, I’m going to pray for every pedophile,” he says. “Every homo that exists, you know what my prayer for them is? They go straight to hell right now. I have no sympathy for them. I have no love for them. They hate God! They’ve already rejected God! And if God rejected them, why would I accept them?” That’s why I just pray that they just go to hell! And that’s a good imprecatory prayer to have: Hey Lord, let him drop straight into hell right now. I mean, if that’s not gonna happen, you know, let him get run over by a bus! A huge semi-truck! A Mack truck! I mean, let him get struck by lightning. I mean, give him cancer. Let the AIDS just infest their whole body and just die right now. Just destroy them. I mean, I don’t care which way you do it, Lord. Just kill them right now. Break their teeth in their mouth. Let them have a slow, painful death.”

Urbanek’s previously used anti-gay slurs to refer to gay people in his sermons. He’s also accused women who wear pants of being “cross-dressers” and being an “abomination,” urging their husbands to burn their wives’ clothing if they have pants in their wardrobes, and telling women to delete or destroy any pictures or evidence of them having ever worn pants.

Republican state Sen. Mike Moon’s “Don’t Say Gay” bill, which received a Tuesday committee hearing in the GOP-led Missouri state Senate, is among several filed across the nation this year that are similar to Florida’s new law. But Missouri takes it even one step further.

Missouri’s bill would only allow licensed mental health care providers to talk to students about gender identity and LGBTQ issues in K-12 public schools, and only if guardians first give permission.

“The bill follows the lead of Florida’s ‘Don’t Say Gay’ bill but does so with broader impact and implications than any bill being considered in the nation,” said Katy Erker-Lynch, executive director of the LGBTQ state advocacy group Promo.

Democratic state Sen. Greg Razer, who serves on the committee, called the measure the “most disrespectful bill” he has seen since taking office in 2017. “What is so offensive about me that it can’t be talked about in schools?”

The Missouri measure’s chances of advancing are unclear, but other anti-transgender-related legislation seems likely to pass and signed into law by Republican Governor Mike Parson

A 74-year-old retired schoolteacher from a New York City was sentenced to 30 months in prison Wednesday for mailing dozens of violent threats to LGBT affiliated individuals, groups and businesses over several years. Including a threat to blow up the historic Stonewall Inn.

Via FOX News: Fehring pleaded guilty in February to mailing threatening communications through the postal service. “We are disappointed in the length of the sentence, but Mr. Fehring is happy to be putting this nightmare behind him,” his attorney, Glenn Obedin, said in an email. “He is deeply remorseful for what occurred, and looks forward to living quietly with his family once he has served his sentence.”

Fehring also threatened to place explosives at 2021 New York City Pride march that would “make the 2016 Orlando Pulse Nightclub shooting look like a cakewalk,” referring to the 2016 attack in which 49 people were killed and dozens wounded at Pulse, a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida.

“Robert Fehring made heinous threats against members of the LGBTQ community in locations throughout New York, including Suffolk County, for nearly eight years,” Suffolk County Police Commissioner Rodney Harrison said in a statement. “Thanks to the tireless efforts of our department’s Hate Crimes Unit detectives and the diligent work of our law enforcement partners, Fehring is being held accountable for his crimes.”

An FBI search of Fehring’s home last November in Long Island, yielded two loaded shotguns and hundreds of rounds of ammunition in addition to copies of letters containing threats. Investigators also found a stamped envelope addressed to an LGBT-affiliated attorney containing the remains of a dead bird, according to the U.S. attorney’s office for the Eastern District of New York.

The Bible’s Teaching on Homosexuality – Romans 1:18-32 – The apostle Paul explains that humanity has rejected God, exchanging the truth about Him and the things He created for a lie. While describing the sinful “exchanges” men and women have made, Paul uses the term para physin, which means “unnatural” or “against nature.”

Homosexuality is unnatural because it is a departure from God’s design for sexuality. According to the passage, homosexuality is also a consequence of humanity suppressing God’s truth and refusing to honor Him. Other verses, including 1 Corinthians 6:9 and 1 Timothy 1:10, reinforce this teaching.

Father, we know that we are a nation on the “precipice of judgment.” The very discussion of these things, and efforts to force men to deny their conscience, shows how very far we have come. Is this not what the communists are doing?

Lord, please stand up for your people. Despite the split within the Senate, Lord, intervene! Prevent this bill from passage and turn the tide.

May our prayers turn the battle with the principalities and powers at the gates. With you is an army of intercessors and at least 10 righteous men and women in the land. It is time for you to act, Lord, your law is being broken. Take pity upon your people!

The full scripture reads: “Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.”

It’s funny though how they never quote the “stone the adulterers” and “thieves in the temple” passages

Los Angeles and Milwaukee LGBT Centers Vandalized with Anti-LGBT Graffiti This Week

The Los Angeles LGBT Center was defaced with anti-LGBT graffiti on Thursday night.

The Center reports:

The slurs painted on The Village at Ed Gould Plaza, near Santa Monica Blvd. and Highland Ave., included “Fuck trannies” and “Fuck all yall.”

“It happened sometime between 9 and 10 pm last night,” said Jackie DeFede, Director of Facilities at the Center. “We had a security officer on duty, but he was patrolling other areas of the building. Fortunately, we have cameras that should have recorded the perpetrators.” DeFede will be filing a police report and sharing video footage with the investigators.

Although this is not the first time the Center has been vandalized, it is the worst case of vandalism targeting a Center facility in recent history. By 11:30 am Center staff had painted over the slurs.

Also on Thursday, workers found the storefront of Milwaukee’s Diverse & Resilient center vandalized with the slur “Fag” in spray paint. Gerald Coon, president of Diverse & Resilient, said  that it’s the third time in two months the center has been hit with graffiti.

“This is unfortunately the third time in two months that our building has been vandalized,” said Coon. “We can’t be certain of the motives behind the vandalism or if the incidents are related, but we are aware that such attacks have increased across the country since the election. We remain undeterred and will continue our work.”

AFA’s Bryan Fischer: Gays Are Like Face Eaters In Miami And Deserve Discrimination

American Family Association hate group spokes-bigot and super-douche Bryan Fischer hits a whole new level of craaaaazy as he wants conservatives to  “reclaim” the term “discrimination”, arguing they should “dust it off,  and use it without apology,”

Fischer wrote:

Public policy is about discriminating against  behaviors that are socially destructive and corrosive to the social fabric. So,  we rightly discriminate against people who rip off convenience stores, burgle  houses, drive while drunk, eat the faces off homeless people, gun down  servicemen on military bases, embezzle funds from employers or clients, or beat  their wives…

We discriminate against adults, even priests,  who have sex with children. We discriminate against teachers who have affairs  with students. We discriminate against teachers who moonlight in the porn  industry. We discriminate against students who engage in sexting. We  discriminate against rapists. We discriminate against those who expose sexual  partners unknowingly to the AIDS virus. We discriminate against those adults who  commit statutory rape against minors. We discriminate against homosexuals and  prostitutes by refusing to allow them to give blood.

The point is this:  we discriminate against sexually immoral and inappropriate behavior all the  time, and homosexual behavior is sexually immoral and inappropriate.

Bryan Fister (yeah I know what I wrote) seems to forget that the face-eating cannibal in Miami was in fact a Christian who had just been to a bible study group and took the phrase “Take. Eat for this is my body” much too far.
