With three lab confirmed cases and one probable case of COVID-19, Focus on the Family headquarters in Colorado Springs, CO has been declared a COVID-19 Outbreak site.

The CO Dept of Public Health defines an outbreak as two or more cases confirmed by a lab test found in a location. Focus on the Family has declared itself to be a church so it will make my list of church outbreaks. The El Paso County site indicates the outbreak is in the bookstore.

CO is one of the states which tracks outbreaks by location and does a great job of making data available to the public on a weekly basis.

Focus on the Family was founded in 1977 in by James Dobson, As of the 2017 tax filing year, Focus on the Family declared itself to be a church, “primarily to protect the confidentiality of our donors.”

Civil rights advocacy groups identify Focus on the Family as a major opponent of gay rights. Matt Gaetz: “I’m not gay!” BTW Nestor Is Not Really My Adopted Son But I’m Still His Daddy

Republican frat boy party animal Matt Gaetz took to Twitter to announce that “he is not gay” and while srill referring to 19-year-old Nestor Galban as his son stops short of saying he had formally adopted him.

In Geatz’s latest “Hot Takes” podcast, he describes how Galban is the brother of an “ex-girlfriend” of his and that “I sort of feel like a single step-parent at times” adding “I don’t have any biological children, but I absolutely have a boy son.”

Sure Jan.

Happy Daddy’s Day Matt!

Our relationship as a family is defined by our love for each other, not by any paperwork. He’s part of my family story, in every conceivable way, and I can’t imagine loving him any more if he was my own flesh and blood.”

BUSTED: DEA Raids Home Of Anti-Gay Fox News’ Dr. Keith Ablow

Via Boston Channel 25

On Thursday, Drug Enforcement Agency officials raided the Newburyport home of Dr. Keith Ablow, the embattled former celebrity psychiatrist caught in a series of sexual assault lawsuits. The city marshal confirms to Boston 25 News the DEA also raided a nearby pharmacy, potentially in connection to the investigation.

Dr. Ablow’s medical license was revoked last year after he was accused of engaging in inappropriate sexual activity with several patients and illegally distributing prescriptions to employees.

Several patients he had been seeing for depression claimed they received Ketamine infusions as part of their treatment. All of them say their doctor-patient relationships turned inappropriately sexual. In one of the lawsuits, one woman claims Ablow told her things like, “I own you,” and “You are my slave”.

Ablow is one of Fox New’s most anti-LGBT television talking heads. He has appeared alongside Family Research Council and KKK connected hate group leader Tony Perkins and has claimed that there is no such thing as being transgender and that LGBT rights will lead to ‘three humans and a dog’ marriage.

Modesto, California Shuts Down Plan for Hater's ‘Straight Pride’ Rally - VIDEO

Modesto, California Shuts Down Plan for Hater’s ‘Straight Pride’ Rally – VIDEO

Modesto, California city officials on Friday denied an application by the National Straight Pride Coalition shutting down the event that was set for Aug. 24.

Don Grundmann, a chiropractor and leader of the National Straight Pride Coalition  who planed the anti-gay, racist event estimated that 500 people would attend said his group supports heterosexuality, Christianity and white contributions to Western civilization.

Opponents argued the rally would promote hatred of LGBTQ people and minorities.

Chris Holland, who planned to stage a counterprotest with other Modesto residents, said it’s important for people to recognize the National Straight Pride Coalition as “a thinly veiled hate organization.”

“They are dressing up their homophobic agenda as a celebration, which mocks everything that pride is about,” he said.

City spokesman Thomas Reeves says the permit request was denied over safety concerns, because the group lost its liability insurance and the parks department determined the event wasn’t consistent with park use.

Earlier in the week at a city council meeting Grundmann, tried to make a case for holding the event and made a gaffe so bad that the entire audience broke out laughing.

“We’re a peaceful group, we wanted to have a meeting, celebration of life. We’re attacked as racists,” Grundmann said. Then he declared, “We’re a totally peaceful racist group!”

And that’s all she wrote.

PayPal Cancels Boston’s Straight Pride Fundraising Account, Labeled “Hetrophobic”

Clutch those pearls!:

Super Happy Fun America received an email from PayPal on July 29, 2019 notifying us that our account had been permanently limited. This means that we can no longer use PayPal to collect donations. In the same manner as other corporations, they accused us of violating their “Acceptable Use Policy” without citing any violation. In fact, they didn’t even bother to fill in the space on their template. This is an act of cowardice likely designed to avoid a lawsuit by not having a reason on record. We will prove them wrong!

PayPal is just the latest corporation to cancel or suspend Super Happy Fun America’s accounts. BlueHost suspended our website. Patreon and Constant Contact both cancelled our accounts. Super Happy Fun America is a civil rights organization advocating on behalf of the straight community.

Massachusetts General Law c.272, s.98 prohibits discrimination based upon sexual orientation. Other states have similar laws. Super Happy Fun America will hold global corporations to account for their hate against our community. After Netflix attacked Super Happy America and straights two weeks ago their stock plummeted. If corporations think that they can get away with heterophobia then they better think again.

You can watch a clip of slob Straight (Far-right extremists, including the Proud Boys) Pride‘s John Hugo whining like a little man-baby about the “backlash” he has received on a segment of Watters World that of course was done on FOX News earlier this month.

Covington Catholic Schoolboy Nick Sandman's 250 Million Lawsuit Against The Washington Post Dismissed

Covington Catholic Schoolboy Nick Sandman’s $250 Million Lawsuit Against The Washington Post Dismissed

A $250 million lawsuit — filed by the lawyers for the family of the allegedy smug MAGA loving Covington Catholic schoolboy Nick Sandmann against The Washington Post — has been dismissed by a federal judge.

Sandmann, was the center of a controversy after his face was depicted across social media, along with Native American protester Nathan Phillips. The encounter happened in January, during a trip Sandmann and classmates from Covington Catholic High School made to an anti-abortion event.

At one point, Sandmann came face-to-face with a Native American man named Nathan Phillips. Some considered Sandmann’s reaction to Phillips disrespectful, or even worse, with thousands of people weighing in on social media

The lawsuit claimed that the Post “wrongfully targeted and bullied Nicholas because he was the white, Catholic student wearing a red ‘Make America Great Again’ souvenir cap on a school field trip and added that the Post engaged in “a modern-day form of McCarthyism” and “ignored basic journalist standards.”

“They didn’t investigate it,” Wood said. “They got it wrong. They published the false narrative and did not publish the truth” and argued that The Post’s first story suggested that Nick had assaulted or physically intimidated Nathan Phillips and engaged in racist taunts

Eastern District Federal Judge William O. Bertelsman wrote that “this is not supported by the plain languages in the article, which states none of these things.”

As the Court explained at oral argument on this motion, in modern libel law there are many affirmative defenses, even for blames based on defamatory statements. These defenses are calculated to protect defendants, especially the press, from strict liability.

“The defense that a statement of opinion is not actionable protects freedom of speech and the press guaranteed by the First Amendment.

“The Court accepts Sandmann’s statement that, when he was standing motionless in the confrontation with Phillips, his intent was to calm the situation and not to impede or block anyone.“However Phillips did not see it that way. He concluded that he was being “blocked” and “not allowed to “retreat.” He passed those conclusions on to The Post They may have been erroneous, but, as discussed above, they are option protected by the First Amendment. And The Post is not liable for publishing those opinions . . “

Bertelsman added that it was irrelevant to the defamation case that Sandmann was scorned on social media.

Lawsuits against CNN and NBC are pending. In all, Sandmann sued for amounts totaling $750 million.

FedEx FINALLY Ends Offering NRA Members Discounts On Shipping

It only took a few more mass shootings and pipe bomb threats against America’s leading Democrats but FEDEX  is FINALLY ending an affiliate program that offered discounts for business members of the National Rifle Association.

Via NASDAQ:

FedEx stood by the gun-rights lobby group as other companies scrapped deals. They were reacting to the NRA’s stance after 17 students and staff members were murdered at a Florida high school by a former student. Companies including Delta Air Lines, United Airlines and car-rental firm Enterprise swiftly ended member discounts. At the time, FedEx said that while assault rifles of the kind used in most American mass shootings shouldn’t be in civilian hands, it did not believe in “discriminating” between organizations it works with.

The change of tack comes just days after a gunman killed 11 people in a Pittsburgh synagogue. The $56 billion logistics company says the closure of its NRA discount program from Nov. 4 has no connection to that incident or any other shooting. Rather, the NRA just didn’t bring in enough business to merit its own deal. It’s among dozens of organizations FedEx plans to move to new pricing programs, and the company has been notifying customers since early October.

It’s about time.

Mike Huckabee “Resigns” From Country Music Association Foundation Board After Major Backlash

Former Arkansas Governor and anti-LGBT “Christian Nationalist”  Mike Huckabee resigned on Thursday from the Country Music Association Foundation board of directors after criticism from multiple members of the country music industry.

Huckabee held the position for less than a week.

The announcement follows pointed criticism from members of the country music industry, as well as fans — much of it stemming from Huckabee’s stance on LGBT issues.

Jason Owen, co-president of Monument Records and owner at Sandbox Entertainment, called the appointment a “grossly offensive decision” in an email to the association’s CEO Sarah Trahern and CMA Foundation executive Tiffany Kerns.

Owen wrote that due to Huckabee’s election to the CMA Foundation’s board, neither his companies nor anyone they represent would continue to support the foundation.

Owen and his husband, Sam, are fathers to a young son and are expecting twins. Owen said that Huckabee’s stance on the LGBT community “made it clear my family is not welcome in his America.”

Huckabee speaks of the sort of things that would suggest my family is morally beneath his and uses language that has a profoundly negative impact upon young people all across this country,” he added. “Not to mention how harmful and damaging his deep involvement with the NRA is. What a shameful choice.”

The CMA Foundation is the charitable arm of the Country Music Association, devoted to growing and supporting music education programs across the country. Its board consists of 12 members. Huckabee’s inclusion on the board had sparked hundreds of comments from outraged fans on social media.

In Huckabee’s letter of resignation he wrote:

I genuinely regret that some in the industry were so outraged by my appointment that they bullied the CMA and the Foundation with economic threats and vowed to withhold support for the programs for students if I remained.

I’m somewhat flattered to be of such consequence when all I thought I was doing was voluntarily serving on a non-profit board without pay in order to (continue) my decades of advocacy for the arts and especially music.”

Poor bullied Mike Huckabee.

Let’s all make sure to send him our thoughts and prayers.
